  • In recent years, the rapid proliferation of domestic and global Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms, in conjunction with the global pandemic, has substantially enhanced the accessibility of global contents. This trend is expected to continue to strengthen. This study examines the extent to which domestic consumers experience global contents through OTT platforms and its impact on individual consumers' global identity and the formation of global brand attitudes. We conducted an empirical analysis based on a survey of university students, who constitute the main consumer group for global contents through OTT platforms. The results show that as exposure to global content s and diversity of those experiences through OTT increase, respondents exhibit higher levels of global consumer orientation and global identity. This, in turn, has a positive influence on the formation of global brand attitudes.

  • With the growing preference among Chinese consumers for purchasing beauty products through social media networks (SNS), influencer marketing has recently emerged as a crucial strategy for maximizing word-of-mouth effects. This study aims to ascertain the impact of SNS beauty influencers' characteristics on trustworthiness and consumers' intentions to engage in word-of-mouth promotion. Furthermore, the study seeks to explore the moderating role of consumer involvement in the relationship between SNS beauty influencer characteristics and the trust consumers place in them. As part of an empirical analysis, an online survey was administered to 259 Chinese female consumers who had previously purchased beauty products through influencers on SNS. The data gathered were scrutinized by conducting multiple and hierarchical regression analysis to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings indicated that the attributes of "expertise,"' "intimacy," and "homogeneity" in SNS beauty influencers significantly affect influencer trust, whereas "charm" does not have a significant impact. Moreover, consumer involvement was found to moderate the relationship between SNS beauty influencer characteristics (expertise, intimacy, charm, and homogeneity) and influencer trust. Additionally, influencer trust positively influenced the intention to engage in word-of-mouth activities. These findings signify that leveraging influencers possessing qualities such as expertise, intimacy, and homogeneity can help enhance product exposure, popularity, and sales of the beauty industry. This study contributes valuable insights into the strategic utilization of influencer characteristics in the beauty industry and digital marketing, highlighting their pivotalrole in consumer engagement and the success of marketing strategies.

  • Patients with acute respiratory diseases, such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) due to COVID-19, must wear masks, protective clothing, face shields, and gloves to prevent infection during treatment and performance. Even if it is applied to disabled people, families who protect them are severely mentally tired from severe physical fatigue and stress from exposure to high-risk infectious diseases. As such, the spread of infectious diseases such as respiratory diseases has not only caused difficulties in using existing welfare and medical services but also caused various problems throughout the daily life of disabled people due to the prolonged infectious disease, and its scope is gradually expanding. Therefore, it should not be overlooked that disabled people may experience various difficulties, from the spread of infectious diseases such as respiratory diseases to isolation, diagnosis, and treatment, and it is time to actively assess the life changes felt by families caring for disabled people and consider and research to provide adequate services. According to the survey of disabled people is being conducted in the context of the spread of infectious diseases such as respiratory diseases, while research on the spread of infectious diseases such as respiratory diseases is rare for parents with disabilities. There is a need for additional investigation into the characteristics in other areas of everyday life, including the health field, which is deteriorating through prior research. Therefore, through this survey, the purpose of this study is to investigate the life changes of parents with disabilities in the context of the spread of infectious diseases such as respiratory diseases and to compare and analyze them to find out how parents were affected by each type of disability. It will be used as evidence to identify more necessary needs and problems for parents with disabilities in the spread of infectious diseases such as respiratory diseases and to provide more appropriate health care and welfare services in the future.

  • This study aimed to assess the level of intention to tampon use among female university students and to identify factors influencing intention to tampon use. The participants were 140 female university students. Data collection was performed through an online survey using chi-squared test, spearman's correlation coefficients, and multivariable logistic regression analysis from March 13 to March 30, 2024. In this study, it was found that 63.6% of female university students had an intention to use tampon and factors influencing intention to tampon use were marital status, length of menstruation, and prior experience with tampon use. Specifically, participants who were 'unmarried', 'had menstruation lasting 5 days or shorter', and 'had previous experience with tampon use' demonstrated a higher intention to use tampons. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously monitor the changing patterns of women's menstrual product usage and intention, identify influencing factors, and establish educational and promotional strategies to provide information on the characteristics and usage of menstrual products, enabling women to choose the best products suited to their menstrual needs.

  • In this study, the transfer rate of wild type Listeria mon, ytogenes (LM) was investigated to establish the standard of safety management during pork meat pr, essing for meat to meat and meat to food contact surfaces contamination at 5 and $10^{\circ}C$. The transfer rate of LM from meat to meat during the pr, essing increased from 0.02% after 30 min to 0.42% after 120 min at $5^{\circ}C$, while for conveyor belt and stainless steel, it decreased from 0.015% and 0.013% after 30 min to 0.002% and 0.0003% after 120 min at $5^{\circ}C$, respectively (p < 0.05). When temperature increased to $10^{\circ}C$, the transfer rates of LM from meat to meat, conveyor belt and stainless steel were the highest at 60 min exposure, and all decreased after 120 min. In reverse, the transfer rate from food contact surface to pork meat was significantly higher than that from pork meat to food contact surface (p < 0.01). Also, the transfer rate to conveyor belt was significantly higher than stainless steel (p < 0.05) and it was highest at 30 min exposure time in both 5 and $10^{\circ}C$. This study indicates that the transfer and adherence rates of LM are influenced by the contact time and temperature. Consequently, these results were utilized to develop a predictive model with a high level of confidence which can lead to prevent cross-contamination during pork meat processing.

  • This study was conducted to investigate petal pigmentation and the expression patterns of anthocyanin-related genes in bicolored roses 'Pinky Girl' treated with temporal heat stress (THS). Cyanin accumulation in petals was correlated with floral bud development and started rapidly as floral buds began to open, defined as the $4^{th}$ stage of floral bud development ($S_4$). This stage seems to be most susceptible to petal pigmentation. The total of cyanin pigmentation at blooming was significantly decreased (by 45.5%) with exposure to THS ($39/18^{\circ}C$ for three days at $S_4$) in comparison with control. Meanwhile, the expression of anthocyanin-related genes such as CHS, CHI, F3'H, DFR, ANS, 3GT, and 5GT was relatively promoted by THS. Only F3H was less expressed (by 26.7%) with THS treatment; thus, F3H could be a key gene for bicolor promotion in 'Pinky Girl' among anthocyanin-related genes. Overall, the expression pattern of the most anthocyanin-related genes did not match the trends of cyanin pigmentation in petals. These results suggest that floral pigmentation could be associated with other mechanisms related to anthocyanin biosynthesis such as post-translational effects and regulatory genes.

  • Indole-3-carbinol (I3C), one component of cruciferous vegetables (the Fammily of Cruciferae), has been shown to exert its chemopreventive effect in liver, colon and mammary tissue before or concurrent exposure of carcinogen, but there have been several evidences that consumption of I3C induced tumor promotion in some tissues. Our studies were investigated to examine the modifying effects of I3C in the 7,12-dimethylbenz[$\alpha$]anthracene (DMBA) induced rat mammary gland tumor model. Fifty-two female Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups. Animals of the group 1 were given the diet containing 100ppm I3C and animals of the groups 2 and 4 were given the diet containing 300ppm I3C from 6 weeks of age. At 7 weeks of age, the animals of the groups 1, 2 and 3 were intubated with DMBA. All amimals were killed at 20 weeks after carcinogen treatment. There were significant increases of food consumption in I3C feeding groups compared with those of basal diet feeding groups. The incidences of the mammary tumors in the group 1, 2 and 3 were 75.0% (9/12), 56.3% (9/16) and 93.8% (15/16), respectively and the average number of tumors of group 1 (DMBA+I3C 100ppm: $2.08{\pm}0.61$) and 2 (DMBA+I3C 300ppm: $1.19{\pm}0.32$) were significantly lower than that of group 3 (DMBA alone: $4.63{\pm}0.72$) at the value of P<0.05 and P<0.001, respectively. In the pathological examination of appearing tumors, most of them were adenocarcinoma. Many epithelial cells of tumors showed strong estrogen receptor (ER) $\alpha$ expression but there were slight difference of ER $\alpha$ expression among the type of tumors. We suggest that pre-initiation treatment of I3C has an inhibitory effects on mammary carcinogenesis induced by DMBA.
