효과적인 리스크관리를 수행하기 위하여 국내 건설회사의 리스크관리 실태를 설문조사와 인터뷰를 통하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 리스크인자를 규명하고 그 제어 및 대응책으로 개선된 건설 계약방식을 제시하고자 한다. 개선된 계약방식의 파트너링은 건설프로젝트에 사용이 증가하고 있으며 파트너링은 건설프로젝트를 수행함에 있어 계약당사자들의 갈등해소, 능률적이고 긴밀한 관계유지, 신뢰하는 분위기로 프로젝트를 수행하는 것을 의미한다. 파트너링에 의해 건설계약을 체결한다면 리스크인자를 경감하게 되어 공기단축, 품질향상, 공사비절감, 안전한 시공을 할 수 있는 건설프로젝트의 계약방식을 제시하였다.

Project logistics is becoming increasingly important in overseas plant projects. Efficient logistics risk management is needed to reduce construction period and reduce costs. However, Korean construction firms bid unconditionally without sufficient experience and analysis on overseas plants contract, companies are gradually losing profitability on projects due to not considering profitability. Despite the significant effects on the profitability of Korean construction companies, and although these companies still continue to bid on overseas plant projects, policies to manage project logistics risks for safe transport and compliance with the contracted building schedule in the long term is still lacking. Hence, this study investigates the risk factors related to project logistics and to analyze the effect of project logistics risk on overseas plant business performance. We conducted a survey of project-related workers. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, among the logistics risk factors, overseas platform business people recognize operational risk and financial risk factors, which have a positive effect directly on overseas plant performance. Second, the ability to manage project logistics risks can have a significant impact on the success or failure of overseas plants. Finally, if logistics risk factors are managed on the basis of the research results confirmed through empirical analysis, it is possible to carry out more efficient and effective management of the project, which implies that this will have a positive effect on overseas plant business performance.

Since its introduction in mid 1990s, Financial Crisis in Korea, knowledge management (KM) has been considered as a new, optimal way of corporate management style. And a large number of researches, either theoretically or empirically, were carried out in order to find out what the key success factors will be in common. However, though key success factors are extracted, it can hardly be a successful project if those are not well matched for the unique industry characteristics, still more in construction industry. Even we can find some KM precedents in construction industry, it can hardly be revealed how far they exerted themselves in order to match key factors with industry characteristics. Hence, at the dawn of implementing KM, this research work will scrutinize key success factors (KSFs) derived from previous studies and funnel those KSFs into construction domain. Then rearranged KSFs will be proposed with each key issues. Therefore, this article can contribute to setting strategies for KM in construction sector.

A project planning is one of the most important processes that determines success and failure of the project. A pre-project planning is also essential job for information system implementations at the early stage of project planning, especially for management information system like ERP. However, pre-project planning is very difficult, because lots of factors and their relationships should be considered. Pre-project planning of ERP implementation has been done by project manager's own knowledge and experiences. In this article, we propose a system that help project manager to make a pre-project plan of ERP project with case-based reasoning(CBR) framework. The proposed CBR system saves previous cases of ERP pre-project planning in the case base. Then, the system finds the most similar case with the current pre-project planning problem. Project manager can make a pre-project plan by adjusting the most similar case. From the interview with project managers, we collect some field cases of ERP implementation. We organized these cases by using XML(Extensible Markup Language), which is good for representing hierarchical information. XML gives us some flexibilities to correct and maintain cases. We make a prototype system, PPSS(Project Planning Support System) that help project manager to make a pre-project plan of ERP implementations. The object of the system is to support project manager to make a pre-project plan of ERP. We hope the result of the study can be applied to other information systems. Our research would be extended to cover other stages of project planning.

SMEs are experiencing difficulties in doing sales promotion due to the low awareness of the image of the company and the products produced by them in the global market. Therefore, the Government should seek ways to raise awareness of SMEs' image and products. SMEs have to carry out global innovation activities needed to develop new products or new technologies, but they are exposed to limitations of these innovative activities due to the limit of their available resources. Therefore, as a national project, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small and Medium Business Corporation are doing project for fostering and constructing global shopping mall (independent mall) so that SMEs can strengthen their global innovation activities. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to succeeding in the project for fostering and constructing global shopping mall (independent mall) by studying the case of Zungle Incorporation which operates a global shopping mall and greatly increases exports by participating in this project, and identifying success factors of Zungle Incorporation in doing this project.

The purpose of this study is to identify the factors hindering hospital reengineering project in one university hospital. The data was collected by the self-administered Questionnaire to 288 members of the hospital in Pusan on April 5-18, 1996. This study took some statistical methodologies, such as descriptive analysis, factor analysis and logit model analysis. The results were as follows; First, in the descriptive analysis for whether the hospital reengineering named RUSH94 was a success or not, the subjects judged that it was not successful and regarded their fable mutual communication as the main factor. Second, in the reason of failure at the reengineering project, the group who thought that the failure factor was the lack of mutual consensus checked the scores of the first factor produced from the factor analysis.

Since 'Act on Private Participation in Infrastructure' were changed in January 2005, BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease) projects of Private Participation in Infrastructure was introduced in the domestic construction market for the purpose of providing public facilities with the public. Selecting the most qualified Promoter should be considered discreetly in BTL projects because BTL projects is for projects with approximately thirty year project life cycle, plan, construction, operating, maintenance and obviously the success of the project totally depends on the capability and role of Promoter. However, score for cost is likely to influence selecting Promoter to take the project. Accordingly, low bid contract with too much competition could decrease the quality of the construction plan and operating plan. Thus, this study did preliminary research and documents on problems of evaluation criteria for selecting Promoter in BTL projects, and proposed improvement factors by doing questionnaire over specialists of each field.

건설프로젝트의 성공은 프로젝트 관리자로서의 발주자의 참여가 중요하다. 그 이유는 일반적으로 프로젝트의 성공을 공기단축, 비용절감 등으로 측정하지만, 기존 성공을 측정하는 방법으로는 발주자의 역할을 고려하지 않고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 프로젝트 관리자로서 발주자를 위한 사업수행평가서를 개발하기 위해 통해 총 9개의 프로젝트 CSF와 27개의 sub-CSF를 도출하였다. 도출된 CSFs의 중요도를 평가하기 위해 AHP 기법을 활용하였으며, 기존 존재하던 PDRI 방법을 활용한 사업수행평가서를 개발하였다. 사업수행평가서를 활용하면 각 CSFs에 대한 초기 목표값을 설정하고 프로젝트 완료 후 평가 결과의 비교를 통해 프로젝트를 효과적으로 관리하고 평가할 수 있다. 평가결과를 실무적으로 활용하기 위한 솔루션 맵을 제시하고 활용 가능한 솔루션 툴을 제안한다. 추후 연구에는 실질적인 검증을 위해 다양한 프로젝트 사례를 추가할 뿐만 아니라 평가를 통해 현장에 적용 가능한 솔루션 툴을 지속적으로 개발해야한다.

Project manager plays a very important role in the success of any project. The primary duty of the project manager is to combine the outcomes or results of the various processes and activities of project management into a systematic project management strategy or plan for the project. In the construction industry, a lack of motivation is an urgent problem for many project managers in construction and engineering projects. Lack of motivation affects the quality and productivity of jobs, reducing profits and growth for companies, businesses, contractors or organizations that rely on human resources. The reasons for this lack of motivation are diverse ranging from salary to culture to life and working environment, among others. Through surveys and data analysis using Cronbach's Alpha reliability and EFA (Exploratory Factor Analysis), our research scaled the factors affecting work motivation of project managers in the construction industry in Vietnam. The research results identified six major groups of relevant factors including (i) salary and benefits, (ii) work environment, (iii) promotion opportunities, (iv) organizational culture, (v) interest in the job, and (vi) relationship with the organization. From there, this paper contributed useful information as well as measures for businesses, companies, contractors or organizations in the construction industry.
