신세대 기혼여성의 여가시설선호 및 여가활동참여가 생활만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Leisure Facilities Preference and Leisure Participation on the Life Satisfaction of New-generation Married Women)

  • The purpose of this empirical study is to examine the effect of leisure facilities preferences and leisure activities of new-generation married women on their life satisfaction. The samples was composed of 195 married women under 35 years. old, selected by age and local distribution. The major findings of this study re as follows. The new-generation wives preferred culture.intellectual arts facilities to sport facilities to sport facilities and participated in home-oriented activities. The more new-generation married women participated in active leisure, the higher level they showed in life satisfaction. There is no significant affect of leisure facilities preference on life satisfaction. The finding of this study provide implications regarding the policies on leisure facilities and leisure education programs to enhance the quality of life of the new-generation wives, such as establishing community leisure facilities which can help the mother as well as young children enjoy their leisure activities with less expense, and managing continuing education programs in which the new-generation wives easily participate with their families.

간호학사 편입학과정(RN-BSN)생들의 특성 및 교육만족도 조사 (A Study on RN Students′ Education Satisfaction Toward RN-to-BSN Programs)

  • This study was undertaken to investigate the general characteristics of students, which include the degree of satisfaction, motives of admission, the recognition of advantages and disadvantages, opinion of students on self-directed learning, and planning and anticipatory effects after graduation. Data was collected through a questionnaire survey over a period of four months, from May 1997 to August 1997. The subjects used for this study consisted of 322 RN students sampled from six RN-to-BSN programs in Korea using the census sampling method. Statistical methods employed for this study included discriptive statistics, M ANOVA, and F-test. The results of the study are as follows 1. The RN students' motives of admission to RN-to-BSN programs were ‘for personal advancement’, ‘to earn a BSN degree’, and ‘for professional development’ in this order. 2. The RN students' responses to the advantages of RN-to-BSN programs were ‘acquisition of new knowledge and a BSN degree’ and ‘to gain professional thinking and a broader view’, while as the disadvantages of RN-to-BSN programs were ‘geographical isolation of institutions’, ‘limitation of information’, and ‘underdeveloped school environments’ in this order. 3. The survey based on opinions toward self-directed learning showed that there was a need of detailed guidelines for self-directed learning. Most agreed that it was a very effective learning method for a RN student, and the self-directed learning method Increases motives for learning. 4. The students' anticipatory effect after graduation were ‘self-achievement’, ‘development of professional skills’, and ‘admission to post-graduate school or programs to study abroad’. 5. The students were very satisfied with the quality of faculty members, and satisfied with the quality of lectures and teaching. However, students were unsatisfied with rented lecture rooms, and very unsatisfied with self-directed learning methods. 6. School nurses showed higher statistical significances in the need for teaching material and anticipatory effect after graduation than other RN students working in hospitals and public health agencies. Also, school nurses, public health nurses, and industry nurses showed higher statistical significances in motives of admission than RN students working in hospitals. Further more, staff nurses, school nurses, and industry nurses showed higher levels of satisfaction toward a RN-to-BSN programs than nurses in higher positions, such as administrators or directors of nursing. 7 City residents were more satisfied with RN-to-BSN programs than rural residents. Otherwise, the rural residents had higher motives for admission, a bigger need for teaching materials, and recognition of the disadvantages of RN-to-BSN programs than city residents. Finally, RN students who earned below a monthly income of ₩1,000,000 showed higher motivation for admission than those who earned more than ₩1,000,000.

사회맞춤형학과 교육 프로그램의 만족도가 핵심역량 및 자기주도역량에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 목포해양대학교 사례를 중심으로 - (Influence of Education Program Satisfaction on Core Competence and Self-directed Competence: A Study of Mokpo National Maritime University)

  • 목포해양대학의 해사대학은 학생들에게 선박과 해양에 대한 특수성에 적응할 수 있는 교육 및 훈련 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 사회맞춤형학과 교육 프로그램의 운영을 통한 프로그램의 만족도가 학생의 핵심역량 향상과 자기주도역량 향상에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것이다. 사회맞춤형학과 비교과 교육 프로그램을 조사하였으며, 그 중 통계분석이 가능한 비교과 교육 프로그램인 TALK+를 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. TALK+ 프로그램은 해사대학의 특수성을 반영한 인사담당자와 소통을 할 수 있게 연결해주는 프로그램이며, 259개의 만족도 조사 결과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 전체적으로 Likert 척도가 평균 4점 이상으로 높은 만족도를 나타내었으며, 만족도는 핵심역량 및 자기주도역량과 통계적으로 강한 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 또한 선형회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 만족도는 핵심역량 향상 및 자기주도역량 향상에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다(p < 0.001). 본 연구를 통해 다양한 비교과 프로그램의 개발과 동시에 무엇보다도 만족도를 향상시키기 위한 노력이 필요한 것으로 확인되었다.

청소년 대상 신체상 증진 프로그램의 효과에 대한 체계적 문헌 고찰 및 메타분석 (The Effects of Programs on Body-Image Improvement in Adolescents: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis)

  • Purpose: This study's objective was to investigate the effects of programs that improve adolescents' body image, using a systematic review and meta-analysis. Methods: A literature search was performed in eleven electronic databases, using preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis guidelines. Population characteristics, contents of the programs, and measured outcomes were systematically reviewed from 21 selected studies. To estimate the size of the effects, meta-analysis was conducted using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis software. Results: The contents of the programs that aimed to improve body image included physical, psychological, interpersonal, and sociocultural interventions. Sixteen studies were meta-analyzed to estimate the effect size of body-image improvement programs. Results showed that the program for body-image improvement had significant effects on body satisfaction (effect size [ES] = 0.56, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 0.23 to 0.89), and body dissatisfaction (ES = - 0.15, 95% CI = - 0.23 to - 0.08). Conclusion: The program for body image improvement in adolescents includes a combination of physical, psychological, interpersonal relationship, and socio-cultural dimensions. The program that seeks to improve body image appears to be effective at increasing body satisfaction, and at reducing body dissatisfaction in adolescents. Thus, it is necessary to develop and apply multidimensional programs for adolescents to have a positive body image.

농촌노인의 일자리사업 참여실태와 만족도 및 요구도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Participation of Rural Elderly People in Senior Employment Programs, Satisfaction Level and Needs)

  • 본 연구에서는 농촌노인들의 일자리사업 참여실태와 만족도 및 요구도를 살펴봄으로써 농촌노인들의 삶의 질 향상에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농촌노인들은 노인일자리사업 중에 공익형에 가장 많이 참여하고 있었으며, 환경개선사업 활동을 가장 많이 하고 있었고, 생계비 마련을 위해 가장 많이 참여하였다. 둘째, 노인일자사업 중에는 소속기관 실무자와의 관계에 대한 만족도가 가장 높았고, 급여수준에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮았다. 셋째, 농촌노인들은 노인일자리사업 교육에 있어 가장 우선적으로 노인의 차이와 다양성을 고려한 맞춤형 교육 강화가 개선되어야 한다고 인식하였으며, 노인일자리사업에 참여하는 과정에서 교통문제로 인해 가장 많은 어려움을 느꼈다. 이런 결과를 볼 때, 농촌노인들의 특성과 욕구에 맞는 보다 다양한 형태의 프로그램 제공과 교통편의 제공을 통해 참된 자활이 이루어질 수 있도록 정책적 배려가 뒷받침되어야 할 것이다.

임상간호사의 성격특성이 직무스트레스와 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 (The effect of clinical nurse's personality on job stress and organizational effectiveness)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of clinical nurse's locus of control of personality on job stress and job satisfaction and organizational commitment out of organizational effectiveness. Methods : The subjects were 463 staff nurses, who were employed in four university hospitals located in Seoul, Pusan and Kyungki-do. Data was collected from October 4th to October 14th in 2000 by a self-report questionnaire. Data was analyzed by the SAS for the general characteristics of the subjects, descriptive statistics, test for reliability and correlations. The effect of variables were tested using the Lisrel 8.12(a) program. Results : With the findings from this study, the internal-external locus of control affects job stress directly. Also it affects job satisfaction directly and via job stress indirectly. But it affects organizational commitment only via job stress and job satisfaction indirectly. Direct effect of locus of control to organizational commitment is not significant. Job stress affects job satisfaction and organizational commitment out of organizational effectiveness directly. Finally, job satisfaction was direct predictor of organizational commitment. Conclusion : Therefore, nursing managers ought to develop social learning programs to change the perception of individual personality and job stress management programs in order to improve organizational effectiveness.

Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment and Effect of HRD in Logistics Industry

  • Purpose: This exploratory research is to give managerial implication to sales personal management. This study focused on antecedents of job satisfaction and organizational commitment specially in HRD programs and system by participation and effect toward job. Research design, data and methodology: This research focuses on relationship analysis among job satisfaction, organizational commitment and HRD programs of logistics and sales personnel in Korea. HRD program consider two parts one is participation and other is effect toward job. And three HRD program is included education & training, system and self-directed Learning. This study used 7th HCCP data from KRIVET and 748 employee data is analyzed. SPSS18 is used and frequency, reliability, correlation and regression analysis are conducted. Results: Result shows that job satisfaction is positively affected by education & training participation, HRD system participation and HRD system effect toward job. Organizational commitment is positively affected by education & training participation, HRD system participation, education & training effect toward job and HRD system effect toward job. However self-directed Learning participation negatively affect organizational commitment. Lastly job satisfaction partially mediates between HRD and organizational commitment. Conclusions: Based on the results, this paper provide implication to academic, practical HRD and suggest feature research.

공공도서관의 서비스품질이 이용자만족도와 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Public Library Service Quality on User Satisfaction and Loyalty)

  • 이 연구는 공공도서관의 서비스품질(인쇄형태 출판물과 인터넷 및 전자자원, 문화프로그램 및 서비스, 도서관시설 및 환경, 직원)이 공공도서관의 이용에 따른 전반적인 만족도 및 불평의도, 충성도(재이용의도포함)에 미치는 영향을 밝히기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 대구지역 8개 공공도서관의 이용자 443명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 선행연구에 대한 분석을 통해 제시한 인과적 모델을 설문데이터를 바탕으로 경로분석(path analysis)을 이용하여 검증하였다. 분석결과 인쇄형태 출판물과 문화프로그램 및 서비스, 도서관시설 및 환경, 직원은 각각 이용자의 전반적인 만족도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 도서관시설 및 환경의 품질은 공공도서관 이용자의 만족도와 충성도에 광범위한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

문제음주가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향: 가족갈등과 우울의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The effects of problem drinking on life satisfaction focusing on mediating effects of family conflict and depression)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of problem drinking on life satisfaction and to analyze the mediating effect of family conflict and depression between two variables. Methods: The data of this study were selected in the 9th Korea Welfare Panel Survey(KYPS, 2014). The SPSS Ver. 18.0 statistical package was used for descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The major findings were as follows; First, problem drinking was found to have a negative impact on family conflict, depression, and life satisfaction. Second, family conflict and depression were identified to cause decreasing life satisfaction. Third, family conflict and depression was found to have a mediating effect between problem drinking and life satisfaction. Conclusions: In order to enhance life satisfaction through overcoming problem drinking, drinking prevention programs and recreational programs based on economic and social context are required.

학령전기 아동 어머니의 부모역할 만족도 관련 요인 (Factors Related to Parenting Satisfaction among Mothers of Preschoolers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors related to level of satisfaction among mothers of preschoolers. Methods: Participants were 359 mothers of firstborn healthy preschoolers. The questionnaires were collected from August 1 to November 21, 2012. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0. Results: The mean score for degree of mothers' parenting satisfaction was 5.94 out of 7. There were significant differences in the level of parenting satisfaction according to mother's job (t=2.48, p=.014), planned pregnancy (t=3.07, p=.002), number of children (t=2.22, p=.027), and parenting education (F=4.33, p=.005). The environmental variables of age of spouse (F=3.06, p=.048) and monthly income of the household (F=2.87, p=.036) also seemed to have an influence. Analysis of predictors such as the mother's job, planned pregnancy, parenting education, overall health problems, parenting stress, perception of emotional status and behaviors in children, age of spouse, and spouse's support explained 31.5% of the variance in mother's parenting satisfaction. Conclusion: The results suggest a need to develop nursing intervention programs for parenting stress reduction, and health programs for fathers to support mothers' child rearing.
