Fashion education as a lifelong education program for adult learners (성인 학습자를 위한 평생교육으로서 패션 교육)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify adult learners' decision making variables, satisfaction, and evaluation toward fashion education as a university lifelong education program. As decision making variables, this study included participation purpose, information source, and selection criteria for lifelong education center and program. Regarding satisfaction toward fashion education, this study included satisfaction toward program and satisfaction toward education condition and administrative services. Data were gathered by both questionnaires and focus group interview(FGI) with 12 adults who completed the program. While questionnaires were used for decision making variables and satisfaction, FGI was used for evaluation. Frequency was used to analyze the questionnaires and content analysis was used to analyze the results of FGI. The findings showed that respondents participated mostly because of hobby or interest and got information mostly from acquaintances. They regarded program contents as the selection criteria for lifelong education center. They also regarded lecturers' professionality as the selection criteria for the program and showed high satisfaction toward lecturers' passion. Regarding education condition and administrative services, they showed high satisfaction. FGI also showed the importance of individual competence, career development, a work-study program, a on-site study program, and lecturer. The results suggest methods to make university lifelong education programs more appealing to adults who want to attend universities for non-degree university programs.

A Study on Analyzing Actual Condition for Developing A Married Immigrant Families Support Program from the Consumer' Viewpoint: Focused on Seoul Residing Married Immigrant Women (수요자 관점의 결혼이민자가족지원 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초 실태 분석: 서울시 거주 결혼이민여성을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct base line research, which is based on requestion of international married immigrant women, for developing social adaptation and family enrichment program for those population who reside in Korea. The survey questionnaire was distributed to 142 international married immigrant women who reside in Seoul to research program participate satisfaction and requestion. Analyze the study results, frequency, percentage, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan-post test were utilized. As a result, overall satisfaction toward program that offered by organization was highly ranked. Visiting service showed high score of satisfaction but mentor service that strongly possess sacrifice showed lower score of satisfaction. Vocational and job-related skill improvement education presented less satisfied degree of satisfaction but cooking class, computer class, training education for native-speaking instructor present high level of satisfaction. Second, the requisition of target population, who did not participate program, presented lower than the satisfaction, still present high demand of variety area of program. Among them, assist child nurturing and vocational and job- related skill improvement education showed high demand. It enable to predict that they are eager to get support toward parent role and self-realization. Third, when the difference were analyzed to compare the subjective judgement toward life adaptation in Korea and the satisfaction for program user and the requisition of non-user, the meaningful differences were founded; especially, individuals who possess confident degree of computer skills and Korean(reading, speaking, and listening) showed higher degree of satisfaction to vocation and job-skill related improvement education. This study has a practical implication, which is based on the study results, on developing a program to support international married immigrant women and multicultural families to satisfactory settlement in Korea life and to maintain healthy families.

Expectation and Satisfaction with Internship Program of Undergraduate Students Majoring in Culinary Studies (조리학 전공 대학생들의 인턴쉽 기대와 만족에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigated the degree of expectation and satisfaction with internship program of undergraduates majoring in culinary studies, and suggested improvements in satisfaction for training programs. Differences between expectation and satisfaction were significant in all 21 items including pay for internship program, rest spaces, and break time during working. Expectation questions were extracted to five factors. Factor 1 circumstances of kitchen Factor 2 staff's ability and attitude Factor 3 working environment Factor 4 working hours and pay and Factor 5 rotation, period, and placement of jobs. Five factors were also obtained from factor analysis of satisfaction. Factor 1 working hours and rest Factor 2 staff's attitude and pay Factor 3 facilities and sanitation Factor 4 circumstances of kitchen and Factor 5 period and placement of jobs. Overall satisfaction values showed significant differences depending on gender, school-year system, grade, age, and school. The working hours and rest factor had the most significant influence on the overall satisfaction with internship program of undergraduates majoring in culinary studies.

A Study On Residents' Satisfaction with Multi-family Public Rental Housing Program in Daegu (다가구 매입임대주택의 입주자특성과 주거만족도 분석 - 대구광역시 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of our study is empirically to identify residents' satisfaction by multi-family public rental housing and to find out another improvement to solve the housing problems facing the poor in Daegu. As a new way of settling the housing problems for the poor in city, as you know, multi-family public rental housing program was introduced by the Korean government in 2004 but rarely empirically evaluated so far. in the Residents' Satisfaction, There are no evaluation of multi-family public rental housing program except Kim's study (2006). Based on 160 survey data, we evaluated the multi-family Public Rental Housing Program within the framework of affordability in economics, a satisfaction in building and in neighborhood by a statistical method. As a result, we find out that residents on multi-family Public Rental housing are satisfied with the multi-family Public Rental Housing Program by and large. For mitigating the housing and economic problem of the poor more, self-support program as well as assistance in housing are needed and multi-family Public Rental housing Program must include neighborhood program more.

A study on elderly people's satisfaction level with oral exercise program (입 체조 프로그램에 참가한 노인의 만족도에 관한 조사연구)

  • Objectives : This study was to examine the satisfaction level of participants in a oral exercise program geared toward the improvement of oral function, their reuse intention of the program and their willingness of recommendation in an effort to facilitate the advancement of the program. Methods : The subjects in this study were 85 senior citizens who used senior welfare centers and nursing homes in Seoul. A oral exercise program was implemented 24 times from April to June 2009, twice a week, and the selected elderly people participated in the program 20 times or more. An interview survey was conducted by two trained dental hygienists, and the collected data were analyzed. Results : 1. As for satisfaction level with each part of the program, the elderly people investigated expressed the best satisfaction with the service supplier(a mean of 3.81), followed by the usefulness of the procedure of the program(3.77) and oral exercise(3.64). 2. The satisfaction level with oral exercise had a significant impact on their overall satisfaction with the program, reuse intention and willingness of recommendation, and the entire satisfaction level with the program was correlated to reuse intention and willingness of recommendation(p<0.001). 3. Out of the demographic characteristics, marital status and whether to live with their families or not made a significant difference to their satisfaction level with oral exercise(p<0.05). Conclusions : It took 20 minutes to get oral exercise, which consisted of warming-up, exercise for each part of oral and cooking-down, and they found it appropriate to spend that time and had no difficulties in repeating after the instructor.

A Survey on Students' Satisfaction of Korean Medicine Doctor's Student Health and Wellness Program (한의 교의 사업에 대한 학생 만족도 연구)

  • Objectives It is important to maintain health for students. The School Health Law is enacted in Korea to carry out the school health project like Korean Medicine Doctor's student Health and Wellness program. The purpose of this study was to examine the student's satisfaction of the program. Methods The school project was conducted in 19 schools in Seongnam city from May 2016 to December 2016. This school program was consisted of health counseling, necessary treatment, health related lectures, and vocational education about Korean medicine. A satisfaction questionnaire was conducted to gather information about overall satisfaction of the program and the program details such as health counseling, treatment, and health lectures. Results A total of 1,713 students and faculty members participated and 164 of those students completed the satisfaction survey. The overall mean score for the teaching activities was $8.54{\pm}1.76$, satisfaction of health counseling was $8.57{\pm}1.74$, treatment satisfaction was $8.39{\pm}1.83$, satisfaction with the health lectures was $8.23{\pm}1.96$ (range 3~10), and the need for continuity of the program was $8.43{\pm}1.91$ (range 1~10). One of the main benefit from the program was that students were able to get necessary treatment as soon as possible (51.2%). Conclusions We found that Korean medicine is suitable for the program. However, the large-scale prospective study will be needed for validation of the findings.

  • In this paper, we propose that it is necessary to expand the programs in the future, Iand it should be possible to activate and to participate the programs continuously, because the higher the participation in leisure program is, the higher life satisfaction.. The Korean Senior Citizens Association has a branch in each province and is used as a place where voluntarily provide friendship activities, hobbies for elderly people aged 65 and information exchange with other leisure activities. However, it was considered to be only a cursory space a few years ago, unlike the activation of leisure programs for the elderly welfare center. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of satisfaction of leisure program by type on life satisfaction of users who have experience in elderly university. The subjective health status and the residential type of participating elderly people differ in their life satisfaction. Therefore, it is important for the elderly to have regular health checkups and to maintain a stable residential style. And also, the experiment results show that life satisfaction was higher when leisure program use satisfaction was higher - especially, satisfaction with health program and health care program was higher.

  • Background and Objects : The environment of hospital have been changed rapidly. To adapt changes, it is needed to boost customer satisfaction. This study aims to investigate satisfaction of customer satisfaction program participants Method : After the one week customer satisfaction program was completed, we surveyed 50 participants. The questionnaire method was used in this study. The questionnaires item were sex, age, department, satisfaction, positive change, necessity and interval in customer satisfaction program. Results : The major results of the analysis were as follows Positive change after customer satisfaction program were 6.90±1.94. Necessity further customer satisfaction program were 7.74±2.09. Conclusions : Customer program should be needed and keep teaching to the staff.

Development of Structural Model for Quality, Value, Satisfaction, and Loyalty in a Wine Training Program (와인교육프로그램의 품질, 가치, 만족도 및 충성도에 대한 구조적 모형 구축)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of quality factors on value, satisfaction and loyalty in a wine training program. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: Structural verification of the wine training program loyalty model showed that the quality of the wine training program positively affected both value (p<0.001) and satisfaction (p<0.001). Further, the value of the wine training program positively affected satisfaction (p<0.01), which in turn positively influenced loyalty (p<0.001). The quality of the wine training program was presented as solicitude for students, textbook and curriculum, qualification and confidence of lecturer and staff, and training quality, whereas the value of the program was composed of sense of belonging, promotion of self-esteem, good impression on others, and improvement of social status. Therefore, the wine training institute's intensive management of the quality and value of the program could induce students' loyalty by enhancing satisfaction for the wine training program.
