한국 벤처기업의 성공요인에 관한 실증적 연구: 2차 자료를 활용한 통합적 모형의 제시 (An Empirical Study on the Success Factors of Korean Venture Firms: The Suggestion of the Integrated Model Utilizing Secondary Data)

  • 본 연구는 기존연구들을 분석하여 벤처기업의 성공개념을 정리하고 통합적 성공요인 모형을 도출하였다. 성공요인으로는 크게 창업자/팀 요인과 기업요인, 환경 요인 및 창업과정 요인으로 구분하여 각 요인들의 하위 구성요인들을 규명하였고, 기업성과로는 지표의 계량화 여부에 따라 정성/정량적 성과를 측정하거나 응답자의 주관적 평가 여부에 따라 주관/객관적 성과를 측정하는 것으로 통합모형을 설계하였다. 한국 벤처기업에 대한 실증분석으로는 성공 요인 중 하나인 벤처기업의 일반적 특성(업종, 규모, 소재지, 발전단계, 업력)을 주변에서 용이하게 수집할 수 있는 2차 자료를 활용하여 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 2016년 동안 기업의 평균 매출액이 가장 많은 업종은 음식료/섬유/(비)금속이며, 당기순이익이 가장 큰 업종은 컴퓨터/반도체/전자부품, 매출액 증가율이 가장 큰 업종은 정보통신/방송서비스와 소프트웨어 개발, 매출액 당기순이익률이 가장 큰 업종은 에너지/의료/정밀이었다. 종사자규모 측면에서 100인 이상 종사자의 벤처기업이 매출액과 당기순이익이 가장 많았으나, 일반적으로 종사자수와 매출액 및 당기순이익은 높은 상관관계를 보이기 때문에 이러한 결과는 큰 의미가 없으며, 오히려 매출액 증가율이나 매출액 당기순이익률이 의미가 있을 수 있는데, 특히 50~99인의 벤처기업이 이들 지표가 높았다. 소재지 측면에서 매출액이 가장 많은 지역은 서울/인천/경기였고, 당기순이익이 가장 큰 지역은 광주/전라/제주와 서울/인천/경기가 거의 비슷하였다. 매출액 증가율과 매출액 당기순이익률이 가장 큰 지역은 광주/전라/제주였다. 기업의 발전단계와 기업성과와의 관계에서는 예상대로 성숙기와 쇠퇴기의 매출액이 가장 많았다. 당기순이익도 성숙기가 가장 많았으며, 매출액 증가율은 창업기, 초기성장기, 고도성장기, 성숙기, 쇠퇴기의 순으로 전형적인 패턴을 보이고 있었다. 업력 측면에서는 매출액과 당기순이익이 가장 많은 업력은 21년 이상이었고, 창업 3년 이하가 가장 높은 매출액 증가율을 보였으며, 4~10년이 가장 높은 매출액 당기순이익률을 보였다. 연구의 논의사항에서 이들 분석결과에 대한 해석과 시사점들을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 벤처기업의 통합적 성공요인 모형을 제시하고, 한국 벤처기업의 경영성과를 분석함에 있어서 2차 자료의 활용방안을 실증적으로 보여줌으로써 여러 가지 유용한 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

쿠멘 생산 공정의 경제성 최적화를 위한 샘플링 및 추정법의 비교 (Comparison of Sampling and Estimation Methods for Economic Optimization of Cumene Production Process)

  • 이 연구는 벤젠과 프로필렌의 기상반응을 통해 쿠멘을 생산하는 쿠멘 생산 공정의 경제성 최적화에 대한 것이다. 최적화의 목적함수는 제품 판매 이득에서 자본비용, 유틸리티 비용, 원료 비용을 뺀 연간 조업이득이고, 설계변수는 6개이다. 설계변수의 변화에 따른 조업이득의 계산을 위해 Unisim Design과 Matlab을 연동하였다. 최적화는 3단계로 수행되었다. 설계변수를 샘플링한 후 조업이득 데이터를 얻고, 이 데이터로부터 설계변수와 조업이득의 관계를 추정 모델로 표현하고, 이 모델을 이용하여 최적화하였다. 추정모델로는 반응표면법에서 사용되는 2차 회귀 다항식과 비선형 모델인 support vector regression을 비교하였다. 설계변수의 샘플링 방법으로는 중심합성계획과 Hammersley 순차 추출법을 비교하였다. 각각 얻어진 모델을 이용한 최적화 결과, 추정방법으로는 SVR이, 샘플링 방법은 Hammersley 순차추출법이 더 정확하였다. 최적화된 조업이득은 연간 17.96 MM$로, 기준 조건에서의 연간 16.04 MM$에 비해 12% 증가하였다.

공동사업의 이익분배와 효율성 (The Profit Sharing and Efficiency of a Joint Venture)

  • 본 연구는 유사한 혹은 동일한 산업에 속해 있는 두 기업이 공동사업(joint venture)을 수행하는 과정에서 이익을 분배하는 메카니즘을 분석한다. 두 기업이 동의할 수 있는 '공정한' 이익분배와 함께 자원배분의 효율성을 달성할 수 있는 의사결정구조를 모색한다. 공동사업은 한 기업이 설비를 제공하고, 다른 기업이 제품을 생산하고 판매하는 형태로 진행되는 경우를 상정하고 있다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 공동사업의 의사결정 구조를 적절히 고안하면 사회적 효율성을 충족하는 균형에 도달할 수 있음을 시사한다. 동일 기업집단 내의 공동사업과 같이 이익분배(이전가격)가 사전에 정해져 기업들의 사적 유인이 통제될 수 있는 상황 뿐 아니라, 독립적 기업들의 공동사업에서도 판매기업이 단독으로 이전가격을 결정하는 구조를 배제하면 효율적인 결과를 낳을 수 있음을 보인다.

DEA모형을 이용한 종합병원의 효율성 측정과 영향요인 (An Investigation of Factors Affecting Management Efficiency in Korean General Hospitals Using DEA Model)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency in management of general hospitals and investigate the major factors on efficiency. Specifically, the management of each general hospital is evaluated by using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) technique which is a nonparametric statistical method for measurement of efficiency. Then, the influencing factors are investigated through analyses of Decision-Tree Model and Tobit Regression. The target hospitals were general hospitals in which bed sizes are between 200 and 500 among a total of 276 general hospitals. The main data of financial indicators were collected from 48 hospitals, and it was analyzed by using two statistical models. For Model I, three input and two output variables were used for efficiency evaluation. In particular, three input variables were the number of medical doctors, the number of paramedical personnel, and the bed size. And, two output variables were the numbers of inpatients and outpatients per year, adjusted by bed-size. The results of DEA analysis showed that only seven out of 48 hospitals(15%) turned out to be efficient. The decision-tree analysis also showed that there were six significant influencing factors for Model I. Six factors for Model I were Bed Occupancy Rate, Cost per Adjusted Inpatient, New Visit Ratio of Outpatients, Retired Ratio, Net Profit to Gross Revenues, Net Profit to Total Assets. In addition, the management efficiency of hospital is proved to increase as profit and patient-induced indicators increase and cost-related indicators decrease, by the Tobit regression model of independent variables derived from the decision-tree analysis. This study may be contributable to the development of analytic methodology regarding the efficiency of hospital management in that it suggests the synthetic measures by utilizing DEA model instead of suggesting simple ratio-analyzing results.

사교육서비스 분야에서의 BSC 모델 개발 및 전략실행방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on BSC development and Strategy execution plan for Private education service field)

  • Purpose: This study aims to overcome the problem of private education market environment which is polarized into commercialized large private education institutions and small and medium sized private education institutions in a poor business environment, and develop systematic performance measurement model applicable for small and medium sized private education institutions. Methods: To develop the BSC which measures financial and non-financial indicator in a balanced manner and introduce the BSC into private education institutions that contain conflicting goals "EDUCATION" and "PROFIT". In particular, Utilizing the methodology of AHP, the priority of strategies and execution assignments are derived. Results: BSC model was developed and introduced by cooperating with executives of the private education institution. Moreover, the study permits to achieve the strategy, enterprise-wide vision and mission by deriving strategy map and applying it to the private education institution. To measure the performance of BSC model instruction, KPI corresponding to the strategic objectives of each perspective was derived. Conclusion: BSC model generally introduces to large-sized companies and public institutions. In this study, BSC model is developed by focusing on small and medium sized private institution. Furthermore, this study is more than simple model development, it makes a connection with achievement of strategic objectives, enterprise-wide vision and mission through strategy map and strategy execution method. Through the developed BSC model and strategy execution method, utilization plan in practice and customized model for private education institutions coexisting profit and non-profit objectives were developed, and academic implications were presented.

  • The size of leisure space has been determined on the basis of the annual and peak day's number of visitor, turnover rate, and size per visitor. But the past models have no theoretical base and practical errors on the many cases. So, this study was carried out to build and test a new theoretical model for selecting a optimal size of theme park. The basic concept of the model building is the break-even point analysis of cost-volume-profit relation. That is, Gain-Loss of theme park is determined by marginal profit and fixed cost by size. YongIn Farmland was selected as a model test case.

  • Most previous studies considering inventory models for imperfect quality assumed that defective items could be completely detected by inspection and fixed before delivery to customers. This makes it difficult to adopt their research results to practice. This study reduces the assumption of perfect inspection, and presents an inventory model considering reverse logistics caused by imperfect inspection. System dynamics model is used to describe complex and dynamic problem and to show the effect of imperfect inspection on profit by simulation. Then, this article provides a guideline for the inspection policy which provides the maximum profit.

사례기반추론을 이용한 다이렉트 마케팅의 고객반응예측모형의 통합

  • In this study, we propose a integrated model of logistic regression, artificial neural networks, support vector machines(SVM), with case-based reasoning(CBR). To predict respondents in the direct marketing is the binary classification problem as like bankruptcy prediction, IDS, churn management and so on. To solve the binary problems, we employed logistic regression, artificial neural networks, SVM. and CBR. CBR is a problem-solving technique and shows significant promise for improving the effectiveness of complex and unstructured decision making, and we can obtain excellent results through CBR in this study. Experimental results show that the classification accuracy of integration model using CBR is superior to logistic regression, artificial neural networks and SVM. When we apply the customer response model to predict respondents in the direct marketing, we have to consider from the view point of profit/cost about the misclassification.

공공성을 고려한 열차용량 할당 (Train-Fleet Assignment based on Public Interests)

  • In this paper, we consider the train-fleet assignment problem to determine fleet assignment and seat allocation synchronously. An integer programming model of the problem and a decomposition-based solution approach are developed to handle short-term period deterministic orgin-destination demands. The primary objective used in the developed model is to maximize the total number of passengers transported during peak load periods, such as Chuseok national holiday period. Thus, in developing the model we choose to profit-pursuing system. We also show how the proposed model can be readily modified to incorporate profit-maximization. Using the empirical data sets provided by a Korean railroad company, we have tested the proposed solution approach and carried out various comparison analyses by varying traffic demand patterns and train schedules. The computational experiments reveal that the proposed solutions approach produces high quality solutions in reasonable computation time.

기업의 인적자원관리와 경영성과의 관계에 대한 연구 : 말콤 볼드리지 평가 기준을 중심으로 (A Study on the Relation between the Human Resource Management and Management Performance in Enterprise : Focused on the Malcolm Baldrige's Evaluation Model)

  • This study is to identify the present condition and level of human resource administration in domestic profit and non-profit organizations, and to investigate on the relation between human resource management and management performance in enterprise. This study is to make items related to the human resource management of American Malcolm Baldrige Award's level and management performance researching questions, investigates seven patterns of organs surveyed positively. The results are as follows: Firstly, the profit organs like manufacturing companies shows more positive than non-profit in comparison with human resource management of each organs. And a local government and public enterprise which is non-profit show to recognize human resource management is insufficient on th whole. Secondly, perception level of a medical institution, educational institution and service industry about aromaticity of human resource management by global standard shows to be positive, but the local government negative. Thirdly, the profit organ in the recognition of human resource management about details practice too, shows to be positive, while non-profit negative. Fourth, the result which compares and analyzes management performance between the similar industry overall show to recognize positive, but public enterprise negative about product, service performance and human resource management. Fifthly, the details practice of human resource administration shows to influence meaningly to all management performance. Therefore, all organizations will positively confront human resource management, make the circumstance of organization through systematic program, and promote the management performance of the organization.
