For this study, this researcher conducted a questionnaire survey of college students as juniors who were majoring in radiology at universities located in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. The distribution and collection of the questionnaire copies were made from April 2nd to 30th, 2013 when the researcher explained the purpose of this study to those students and asked them to fill in the documents. Out of the distributed coies, 220 were finally collected and analyzed. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. Concerning conventional images of the radiological technologists, the male college students of radiology were most affirmative about 'being rational and logical' and 'doing business with putting patients first' while, the female ones of the same major, 'being accurate in doing business' and 'being reliable'. 2. Regarding social images of the radiological technologists. the male college students of radiology were most affirmative about 'being highly intellectual' while, the female ones of the same major, 'being attractive in profession'. 3. In terms of professional images of the radiologist, the college students, irrespective of gender, were most affirmative about 'having highly professional skills' and 'having expertise'. 4. In relation to personal images of the radiologist, both the male and female college students of radiology were most affirmative about 'being kind', but most negative about 'being egocentric'. 5. The radiology students' perceived images of the radiological technologists, and their self-esteem were statistically, significantly correlated with each other. Among those images, conventional ones were found most correlated with self-esteem.

The purpose of this study was to analysis the effect of service education that would improve the image of nursing as a qualified nurse. This study was designed one group pretest-posttest design. The sample was consisted of 274 nurses who was all of the nurses participated in the education of service. The education was provided during eight hours a day each group. The program of the education was devided eight sections and each section had it's own individual teacher. The member of each group was consisted of about twenty-five nurses. The questionnaire was developed by researchers and was applied two times just at the preeducation and two weeks after the education. The criteria of the developed questionnaire was consisted of two aspects, one was recognizant aspect of service and the other was behavioral aspect of service. The reliability of the questionnaire was Chronbach's $\alpha$=0.778. The questionnaire was exammed collected in the morning when the education of the service was started and two weeks after the education. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, paired T-test, Pearson's correlations. The result of the study are as follows : 1. There was a significant difference in the aspect of recognition of service between pre and post self-evaluation. 2. There was no significant difference in the aspect of behavior service between pre and post self-evaluation. 3. There was a significant difference in the aspect of total sense, score between pre & post self-evaluation. 4. There was a significant correlation between clinical experience and aspect of recognition of service. The positive correlation was shown in the longer clinical experience between nurse's role and service. But there was not a statistically significant correlation between clinical experience and aspect of behavior of service. Through the result it can be concluded that the education of service was needed to improve image of nursing as a practical and basic factor for the nurses, even though the education was not directly related to the nures's professional knowledge and skills.

Despite the rapid growth and importance of social enterprises in recent years, most social enterprises have many limitations such as small business size, financial dependence on government, lack of professional management personnel and knowledge, and low consumer awareness. Therefore, empirical research in the field of marketing is needed for economic independence of social enterprises. This study is based on the following: First, the identity of the social enterprise and the self-image of the consumer, second, the functional correspondence between the consumer's expectation and actual performance of the social enterprise's product, and third, the social value of the social enterprise product, the purpose of this study was to examine the effects of consumer value consistency on customer satisfaction and loyalty to social enterprises. Finally, this study aimed to suggest the moderating role of social enterprise clubs in this process to give implications for the long-term marketing of social enterprises. The results of this study are as follows. First, self-image consistency, functional correspondence, and value correspondence all have positive effects on the satisfaction of social enterprise and its products and form a loyalty. Secondly, whether or not the social enterprise club belonged to them is a moderating variable that raises sensitivity in the effects of self image consistency and functional consistency on customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction on loyalty. Purpose: This study was done to investigate changes in image of nursing in first year students of nursing after courses on history & philosophy of nursing. Methods: Participants were 100 first year students at a nursing college located in K city. The students were asked to submit a written answer to an open-ended question. Data were collected in March, 2011, before the students started nursing courses, and again in June, 2011, after they had finished one semester of nursing courses. Data were analyzed using Van Kaam's phenomenological method. Results: Before the nursing courses, students regarded nursing as caring for patients comfortably with warmth and kindness, helping patients with self-sacrificing spirit and service, and being tough and overwhelming to do. After finishing one semester of nursing courses, they regarded nursing as a profession that requires motherly care, love and devotion, and as meaningful and beautiful to do. Conclusions: After finishing one semester of nursing courses, the images of nursing held by the students changed from a traditional perspective emphasizing the emotional and negative aspects to one focusing more on the professional and positive aspects. It is essential to establish healthy and positive images of nursing among students through the nursing curriculum.
The purpose of this study is to grasp the image of radiologists perceived by college students of radiology. The survey subjects of this study were selected college students with major in radiology with 3-year system who are attending universities where are located in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area. As for distribution and collection of questionnaire, the objective of research was explained from April 2, 2012 to April 30. 220 people's questionnaires were finally analyzed with a self-administrative method after being widely distributed. Statistical analysis was carried out frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation analysis. To examine factors of having influence upon the image of radiologists, the multiple regression analysis was carried out. As for survey subjects' general characteristics, gender was indicated to be 58.2% for men and 41.8% for women. School year accounted for 38.2% for freshman, 29.1% for sophomore, and 32.7% for junior. Age was the largest in under 21 years old with 43.6%. The next was in order of over 23 years old with 32.7% and 22 years old with 20%. As a result of research, the image of radiologists was being perceived positively. The radiologist was being recognized as a specialist who is sincere oneself and has strong responsibilities, does valuable and worthwhile work, and has the matured professional knowledge. However, the individual image of radiologists was a little negative. Accordingly, to promote the individual image of radiologists, a specific and positive strategy is needed for approaching people as the specialized job with autonomy and responsibility as well as radiologist oneself.

This study investigated the self-perception of body image and awareness of diet of high school students in Zibo city, China. The data were collected from 260 high school students through the self-administered questionnaires. Frequency analysis, t tests, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range tests, factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha test were conducted by SPSS Windows V.19.0. The results were as follows. In the self-perception of body image, two fifths of the respondents thought of themselves as standard body image. More female respondents thought of themselves as fat persons compared with male respondents. The level of concern about diet was generally low and the mean for pursuit of skinny figure was highest in the awareness of diet. The percentage of correct answers of knowledge about diet was not that high, and one fifths of respondents had experience of diet. The respondents practiced fasting therapy, exercise therapy, food therapy, sweat therapy, drug/appliance therapy, and therapy using professional organization in order for diet.
This is a case study of therapeutic song making activities aimed at improving the self-identity of adolescents in residential treatment facility. The participants were three male teenagers (16 to 18 years of age). The song making intervention was conducted individually with the participants once a week over 13 weeks, and each session lasted 60 minutes. The participants took the lead in making songs by discussing on the self-image and his/her role in the relationship and using musical elements to reflect his/her perception. For analysis, an evaluation method was used to analyze the pre- and post-test results for each sub-domain of the self-identity scale, and changes in the verbal and musical responses during each session. Two of the participants demonstrated higher post-test results compared to their pre-test performance, and their highest post-test scores were for the subdomains of intimacy and initiative respectively. In terms of verbal and musical responses per session, all three participants improved their subjectivity through the self-exploration process, which contributed to the establishment of a more positive self-image. This study suggests that facility youth engaging in making creative songs can positively change their perception of their present and future selves and have a positive effect on their sense of identity.
It is frequently observed that consumers' behavior and performance in their weight control are greatly affected by the degree of self-control by the consumers themselves. In other words, effective weight control behavior is only possible when the consumers invest a substantial amount of endeavors and self-control. The present study empirically investigated the effect of the self-image congruence and subjective norm formed by self- concept reflected in weight control behavior on weight control attitude formation, actual behavior, and performance. For more in-depth research, rather than simply showing differences in performance based on self-control, the present study divided the subjects into high and low self-control groups for a comparative purpose. Based on empirical research employing general consumers and those who were engaged in an actual weight loss program at professional weight control centers as subjects, the study found the following results: First, for both high and low self-control groups, self-image congruence significantly affected attitude toward weight control, but not the actual weight control behavior. The results indicate that in weight control, the actual behavior must be preceded by the attitude. Second, subjective norm directly affected both attitude toward weight control, and behavior for the low self-control group while it affected the behavior only for the high self-control group. The results show that the lower self-control is, the more powerful the effect of referents is. Third, weight control attitude positively affected weight control behavior only for the high self-control group. Fourth, weight control behavior significantly affected the performance for both high and low self-control groups. Compared to the low group, the high self-control group showed more powerful effect of behavior, suggesting the crucial role of self-control in successful weight control. The results also imply that the role of referents is relatively more important for the low self-control group.
This study identified market segments by fashion leadership and appearance interest and compared each group in clothing benefits and makeup benefits pursued as well as makeup behaviors. The data were collected from 20~30 women during September, 2012, and a total of 302 surveys were analyzed. About 46.5% was in their twenties, and more than 39% was students and 35.4% was office workers. Findings were as follows. First, according to fashion leadership and appearance interest, three groups were identified, fashion leader group, appearance interest group, and uninterested group. Second, uninterested group showed the oldest average age among three groups. Fashion leader group showed the higher proportion of students and professional. Third, fashion leader group showed the highest mean score of self-esteem, while uninterested group showed the lowest level. Fourth, fashion leader group pursued attractive body image, social benefit, and individuality for clothing benefits, while uninterested group valued convenience. Fifth, with respect to makeup benefits pursued, fashion leader group presented a high level of esthetic, self-confidence, and functional pursuit, whereas uninterested group showed the opposite. Sixth, respondents tended to depend on internet most as cosmetic information sources, followed by family/friends, and magazine in order. Implications for cosmetic business were provided.
This study was conducted to find how the female college students perceive the body image and the way to help them through the education program. The data was collected through in-depth interviews of 10 female college students from October, 2012 to September, 2013. The interview was done with 3 focus group consisted of 3~4 participants per group. The data were analyzed by the Giorgi method. The meaning structure were organized in 12 themes and 5 focal meanings were identified health personality, health physical condition, making artificial body, social judgement, respect for individuality to ideal body. It is needed to develop the professional programs that help the female college students to positively manage their own body image and reduce the health problem induced body image. Therefore, it is recommended that the program for the female college students is consisted of management of physical health and psychological stress, harmonious interpersonal relationship and encouragement of self-esteem.
