가축분뇨의 처리형태와 시용수준이 영년초지의 생산성, 지력증진 및 환경에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Types and Application Levels of Swine Manure on Herbage Productivity, Improvement of Soil Fertility and Environmental Pollution in Mixed Grassland)

  • 본 연구는 가축분뇨의 처리형태별 시용수준에 따른 목초의 생산성과 질소의 이용효율 및 질소의 용탈에 의한 환경오염에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 화학비료, 톱밥발효돈분, 무톱밥발효돈분 및 액상발효돈분을 100, 200, 400kgN/ha 수준으로 시용했을 때의 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 화학비료와 분뇨의 처리형태별 목초의 생산성과 사료가치 및 N 생산량에 미치는 시용효과는 화학비료 > 액상발효돈분 > 무톱밥발효돈분 > 톱밥발효돈분의 순이었다(건물수량 : 화학 비료(100), 액상발효돈분(90.6), 무톱밥발효돈분(80.9), 톱밥발효돈분(76.8)). 2. 토양 유기물 함량에 미치는 영향은 화학비료 < 액상발효돈분 < 무톱밥발효돈분 < 톱밥발효돈분의 순이었다. 3. 가축분뇨의 처리형태나 시용수준에 따른 NO$_3$의 용탈은 시기적으로는 8월하순 9월초순에 가장 높았으며 N시용수준 400kg/ha 수준까지에서도 서로간에 차이는 매우 적었고 NO$_3$함량도 결코 25ppm을 초과하지 않았다.

A549 폐암세포와 Sarcoma-180 복강암에 대한 홍삼(紅蔘) 증류약침(蒸溜藥鍼)의 영향에 관(關)한 실험적(寶驗的) 연구(硏究) (An Experimental Study on Effects of Distilled Red-ginseng Herbal Acupuncture on A549 human ephithelial lung cancer cell in vitro and implanted Sarcoma-180)

  • Objectives : In order to investigate effects and immune improvement of distilled red-ginseng herbal Acupuncture, expression of Cox-1, Cox-2, and mRNA of Bcl-2 and Bax were analyzed in A549 cell in vivo. Survival time and expression of cytokine mRNA were measured for the mice with Sarcoma-180 induced abdominal cancer. Methods : Balb/c mouse was treated with distilled red-ginseng Herbal Acupuncture at Wisu($BL_{21}$) and Chung- wan($CV_{12}$) to investigate anti-cancer effects and immune response. Results : 1. For expression of mRNA of Cox-1 using RT-PCR, the control group and the experiment groups didn't show significant differences. For Cox-2, both experiment groups and the normal group showed significant differences. 2. For expression of mRNA of Bcl-2 using RT-PCR, experiment groups showed slight decrease compared to the control group. For Bax, no significant changes were shown between the control group and experiment groups. 3. For survival time, all of experiment groups showed 11.1% increase compared to the control group. 4. For IL-2 and IL-4 productivity using Flow cytometry, all of experiment groups didn't show any significance. 5. For IL-2 productivity using ELISA, all of experiment groups didn't show any significance. 6. For expression of cytokine mRNA using RT-PCR, significant increase of IL.-2 and IL-4 were witnessed in the experiment group II compared to the control group. Significant increase of IL-10 was shown in all off experiment groups compared to the control group. Conclusion : According to the results, we can expect that distilled red-ginseng Herbal Acupuncture may be further effccts in anti-cancer and immune improvement if increasing concentration.

태도유사성과 집단소속에 따른 대인매력 (Effects of Attitude Similarity and Group Membership on Interpersonal Attraction)

  • 본 연구는 대인간의 태도유사성과 비유사성이 대인매력에 미치는 효과가 서로간의 집단소속(내집단/외집단)에 의해 어떠한 영향을 받는지 살펴보기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 2(태도유사성: 유사/비유사) × 2(집단소속: 내집단/외집단) 피험자간 실험설계를 통해 대인매력에 대한 영향을 검증했다. 연구결과, 태도유사성의 주효과가 유의하여 태도가 비유사한 사람보다 태도가 유사한 사람에 대한 대인매력이 유의하게 높았다. 또한, 두 독립변인 간의 상호작용이 유의하였는데, 참가자들은 상대방의 태도가 나와 유사할 때 그 사람이 외집단 구성원일 때보다 내집단 구성원일 때 더 큰 매력을 느꼈고, 상대방의 태도가 나와 비유사할 때는 그 사람이 외집단 구성원일 때보다 내집단 구성원일 때 더 큰 반감을 느꼈다. 본 연구의 결과는 조직에서 팀을 구성할 때 구성원들 간의 태도유사성을 고려하는 것이 조직 생산성을 높일 수 있는 한 방법이 될 수 있다는 점을 제안함으로써 조직과 실무 현장에 기여할 수 있다. 향후에 본 연구를 팀 수행과 조직 생산성 향상 연구로 확장할 수 있는 방안을 논의하였다.

Measuring Economic Externalities of IT and R&D

  • We measure and compare externalities of IT and R&D capital stocks in different Korean industry sectors using inter-industry input-output tables of 1985, 1990, 1995 and 2000. We also compute the multiplier effects that relate to the directions of future economic effects. The key findings are as follows. First, we observed continuous capital deepening in all nine industries over the period of 1985 to 2000. Second, the backward multipliers of IT capital were the highest in the manufacturing industry. As for inter-industry externalities, the indirect backward multipliers, which exclude intra-industry backward multiplier effects within the industry, were also the highest in the manufacturing industry. Third, the forward multiplier effects of IT capital stock were the most substantial in the construction industry during the 1980s and in the manufacturing industry thereafter. Finally, using the transition multiplier matrix reflecting the backward effects of the two capitals in the past, the economic backward effects, especially the external economic effects, are predicted to increase through 2010 among all industries. The above findings suggest that, in order to maximize the forward and backward effects of the ever-increasing IT capital, we need to formulate an industry policy reducing the cost of capital accumulation in the manufacturing industry through improvement in productivity of the IT industry.

하이브리도마 세포배양에서 암모늄 이온의 영향 및 고정화 흡착제에 의한 암모늄 이온의 동시제거 (Ammonium Ion Effects and Its In Situ Removal by Using Immobilized Adsorbent in Hybridoma Cell Culture)

  • The effects of ammonium ion on cell growth kinetics, monoclonal antibody productivity, and cell metabolism of hybridoma cells were investigated. The mouse-mouse hybridoma cell line VlIIH-8 producing mouse IgG2a was used as a model system. Ammonium ion showed an inhibitory effect on cell growth and monoclonal antibody production. New immobilized adsorbents were developed for the reduction of the inhibitory effect of ammonium ion. The ammonium ion selective zeolite, Phillipsite-Gismondine was entrapped in calcium alginate bead or in dialysis membrane and applied to the hybridoma cell culture system for the in situ removal of ammonium ion from culture media. The effects of ammonium the both serum supplemented and serum free media on the cell growth were studied by applying immobilized adsorbents of calcium alginate bead type. The results demonstrated a substantial enhancement in cell growth. Applying immobilized adsorbents of dialysis membrane type to serum supplemented media also resulted in the stimulation of cell growth, cell viability and monoclonal antibody production.

노랑초파리(Drosophila melanogaster)와 그 동포종들에 있어서 Gramoxone의 독성에 관한 비교 연구 (Comparative Toxic Effects of Gramoxone in the D. melanogaster and its Sibling Species)

  • Physiological toxic and mutagenic effects of gramoxone in Drosophila melanogaster were invetigated. Gramoxone was highly toxic on the development, resulting in of lowering the viability and in prolongation of the developmental times. Adults treated with gramoxone during the developmental stages caused a lowering of the productivity and a little chinge in protein quantity. But the effect on the sex-linked lethal mutagenesis was found to be negative. The order of mortality causing ado리t stoa형e feeding to gramoxone in the D. melanogaster complex was like this ; D. mauritiana, D. sechellia, D. simulans and D. melanogasteu Two species of the D. yakuba complex were alike. Those results were more or less correlation with speciation of the D. melanogaster subgroup.

The Effects of Airline Deregulation: A Comparative Analysis

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to explore and examine the effects of airline deregulation in the United States and South Korea as a comparative analysis. The study focuses on identifying the purposes of airline deregulation and analyzing its benefits and consequences. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - This is a case study, a comparative method, which analyzes and measures the benefits and disadvantages of airline deregulation in both the United States and South Korea. Results - Airline deregulation removed unnecessary and ineffective government controls, resulting in more efficient airline industries in both countries. However, the negative consequences are much greater than the benefits of airline deregulation. Conclusion - The purpose of airline deregulation was to foster an efficient and effective environment in airline industry, and clear evidence of the positive intended effects of airline deregulation e.g., increasing domestic competition, decreasing airfare, increasing productivity, and removing unnecessary government regulations in the beginning of airline deregulation. However, the current state of airline industry in both countries depicts only the consequences of airline deregulation.

The Effects of Training for Computer Skills on Outcome Expectations , Ease of Use , Self-Efficacy and Perceived Behavioral Control

  • Previous studies on user training have largely focused on assessing models which describe the determinants of information technology usage or examined theeffects of training, on user satisfaction, productivity, performance and so on. Scant research efforts have been made, however, to examine those effects of training by using theoretical models. This study presented a conceptural model to predict intention to use information technology and conducted an experimentto understand how training for computer skill acquisition affects primary variables of the model. The data were obtained from 32 student subjects of an experimental group and 31 students of a control group, and the information technology employed for this study was a university's electronic mail system. The study results revealed that attitude toward usage and perceived behavioral control helped to predict user intentions ; outcome expectations were positively related to attitude toward usage ; and self-efficacy was positively related to perceived behavioral control. Thd hands-on training for the experimental group led to increases in perceived ease of use, self-efficacy and perceived behaviroal control. The changes in those variables suggest more causal effects of user training than other survey studies.

지속적 어업을 위한 자원 $\cdot$ 환경보전적 양식어업의 전개 방향 (Development of Aquaculture for Conservation of Resources and Environment in Korea)

  • This paper represents a critical review of current the relationship between aquaculture and the environment, focusing on the development of marine aquaculture for conservation of resources and environment in Korea. Aquaculture has grown rapidly during the past few decades in Korea. This expansion was possibly because of the growing demand for aquatic products and the failure of the capture fishery to keep pace with the demand. Nevertheless, the aquaculture industry must counter criticisms about adverse environmental effects and lack of sustainability. The productivity of Korean aquaculture is decreasing by environmental pollution, is suffering difficulty because competitive power of the aquaculture industry is weak, external effects of aquiculture is giving negative effects to coastal fishery. Therefore, aquaculture must improve as environmentally sound aquaculture for fisheries sustainability, and intensive aquaculture of high density must convert by low input sustainable aquaculture. Finally, the aquaculture system of Korea has to change to aquaculture for conservation of non - renewable resources and environment, it may contribute to development of Korean fisheries.

안정동위원소 및 Diving-PAM을 이용한 남서해안 만호해역 (진도-해남) 김 양식장에서의 일차 생산력 (An Assessment of Primary Productivity Determined by Stable Isotopes and Diving-PAM in the Pyropia Sea Farms of the Manho (Jindo-Haenam) Region on the Southwestern Coast of the Korean Peninsula)

  • 김 양식을 하고 있는 해역의 물리 화학적인 해양환경 특성, 식물플랑크톤 색소 조성과 농도, 식물플랑크톤 및 방사무늬김의 일차 생산력을 2014년 3월에 김 양식이 이루어지고 있는 만호해역에서 조사를 하였다. 수온은 $9.1{\sim}9.6^{\circ}C$, 염분은 32.5~33.1이었고, 투명도는 높은 탁도로 인하여 유광층이 낮아져 0.7~1.5 m를 보였다. 수층의 용존 무기질소, 용존 무기인 및 규산 규소 각각의 농도는 $3.59{\sim}5.73{\mu}M$, $0.16{\sim}0.41{\mu}M$, $12.41{\sim}13.94{\mu}M$이었다. 클로로필 a 농도는 $0.51{\sim}1.25{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$이었고, $0.7{\sim}20{\mu}m$ 범위의 nanoplankton의 클로로필 a 농도가 58%를 차지하였다. 규조류의 marker 색소인 fucoxanthin의 농도는 $0.51{\sim}1.25{\mu}g\;L^{-1}$로서 전 정점에서 높은 값이었고, $20{\sim}200{\mu}m$ 범위의 fucoxanthin이 64%를 차지하였다. 식물플랑크톤에 의한 일차 생산력은 $57.72{\pm}4.67(51.05{\sim}66.71)mg\;C\;m^{-2}\;d^{-1}$이었고, $0.7{\sim}20{\mu}m$ 범위의 nanoplankton이 76.9%를 차지하였으며, 면적을 고려한 일차 생산력은 $11,337kg\;C\;d^{-1}$이었다. 방사무늬김에 의한 평균 일차 생산력은 $1,926{\pm}192(1,102{\sim}2,597)mg\;C\;m^{-2}d^{-1}$이었고, 면적을 고려한 일차 생산력은 $39,295kg\;C\;d^{-1}$이었다. 식물플랑크톤과 방사무늬김에 의한 일차 생산력을 토대로 계산된 만호해역의 일차 생산력은 $50,632kg\;C\;d^{-1}$로 나타났다. 만호해역의 식물플랑크톤에 의한 일차 생산력이 다른 해역보다 낮고, 김의 일차 생산력이 식물플랑크톤의 일차 생산력보다 약 3.5배 높았다.
