The activating transcription factor (ATF) 4 belongs to the ATF/CREB (cAMP Response Element Binding bZIP [Basic Leucine Zipper]) transcription factor family, and plays a central role in the UPR (Unfolded Protein Response) process in cells. The induction of ATF4 expression has previously been shown to increase the replication of HIV-1. However, the detailed mechanism underlying this effect and the factors involved in the regulation of ATF4 function are still unknown. Here, we demonstrate first that knocking out ATF4 using siRNA shows a strong negative effect on HIV-1 production, indicating that ATF4 is a functional positive cellular factor in HIV-1 production. To determine the mechanism by which ATF4 regulates the HIV-1 life cycle, we assessed the effect of the overexpression of wild type ATF4 and its various derivatives on HIV-1 LTR-mediated transcriptional activation and the production of HIV-1 particles. This effect was studied through co-transfection experiments with either reporter vectors or proviral DNA. We found that the N-terminal domains of ATF4 are involved in HIV-1 LTR-mediated transcriptional activation, and thus in HIV-1 production.
The variations of performance and metabolites at an early stage were investigated for the successful start-up technology in continuous fermentative hydrogen production. Unsuccessful start-up was observed when the operation mode was changed from batch to continuous mode after the yield was reached to 0.5 mol $H_2$/mol $hexose_{added}$ by batch mode. $H_2$ production continued till 12 hours accompanied by butyrate production, but did not last with propionate production increase. It was suspected that the failure was due to the regrowth of propionic acid bacteria during batch mode which were inhibited by heat-shock but not completely killed. Thus, successful start-up was tried by early switchover from batch to continuous operation; continuous operation was started after the $H_2$ yield was reached to 0.2 mol $H_2$/mol $hexose_{added}$ by batch mode. Although $H_2$ production rate decreased at an early stage, stable $H_2$ yield of 0.8 mol $H_2$/mol $hexose_{added}$ was achieved after 10 days by lowering down propionate production. And it was also concluded that the reason for $H_2$ production decrease at an early stage was due to alcohol production by self detoxification mechanism against VFAs accumulation.
Although Hereafter a mass production will claim for patterning nano sized thickness or line in micro-nano industry. existent lithography fabrication has many usable fields, it has complex fabrication steps, expensive values and row work rates. Development of Dip-pen type nano plotter using polymer actuator can construct row cost mass production system because it will change existent lithography fabrication more simple and easy.

The article discusses creation and development of venture investment mechanism in Russia. We analyze some tendencies of venture capital funds functioning which should be focused on the financing of development and production of high-tech products, for the period from the creation of the first funds of venture capital investment in 1994 to 2015. The study results may be of interest for business angels and venture capital funds, as well as for public authorities regulating the legal mechanisms to facilitate such investors.
In the fields of electronics and displays where inkjet printing has demonstrated its capability to fabricate colorant subpixels of thin film transistor liquid crystal(TFT LCD) color filters and organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays, conducting tracks and TFTs, the production of satellite droplets is one of primary things to eliminate because they generally deteriorate the pattern quality. To understand the production mechanism of satellite droplets in this paper, driving waveforms such as monopolar and bipolar were employed and the influence of the pulse duration time were investigated in both experimental and numerical aspects.
Most of the photoperiodic responses result in a sharp contrast between development in long and short days, so that qualitative observations are quite sufficient to establish that development is under photoperiodic control, and qualitative information of this type is all that is available for many of the responses (Dring 1984). However, we need to devise some quantitative measurement of the response in order to study the physiological mechanism of photoperiodic control. We report here the quantification of photoperiodic control of erect thalli production of Sargassum muticum in different daylength regimes. (omitted)
We propose the vocal tract area function as the feature vector of speech recognition. Vocal tract area function is directly related to speech production. The vocal tract area function is not only showing mechanism of speech production but also can be used as an effective feature vector in speech, recognition in this study.

Phytoestrogens are naturally occurring compounds derived from plants. Structurally, some phytoestrogens resemble endogenous estrogen of humans and animals. Phytoestrogens exhibit estrogen agonist/antagonist properties and have many biological effects such as prevention of hormone-dependent breast cancer, anti-oxidative activity, inhibition of tyrosine kinase activities and inhibition of angiogenesis. In this study we investigated whether biochanin A, a phytoestrogen, and its metabolites such genistein, p-ethylphenol and phenolic aic affect IL-4 production in EL-4 thymoma cell-line and primary lymph node cells. Industrial robot has played a central role in the production automation such as welding, assembling, and painting. There has been, however, little effort to the application of robots in machining work(grinding, cutting, milling, etc.) which is typical 3D work. The machining automation requires a high stiffness robot arm to reduce deformation and vibration. Conventional articulated robots have serially connecting links from the base to the gripper. So, they have very weak structure for he machining work. Stewart Platform is a typical parallel robotic mechanism with a very high stiffness but it has a small work space and a large installation space. This research proposes a new machining robot arm with a double parallel mechanism. It is composed of two platforms and a central axis. The central axis will connect the motions between the first and the second platforms. Therefore, the robot has a large range of work space as well as a high stiffness. This paper will introduce the machining work using the robot and design the proposed robot arm.

In the study of the mechanism of labor motivation as a determinant of economic security of the enterprise in competitive conditions, it was found that motivation is determinant in creating the conditions for production and ensuring the active functioning of the enterprise. It is substantiated that the motivational mechanism is the presence of a system of levers, incentives, measures and other elements for economic and administrative incentives for employees, which are used for incentives to work, increase productivity and safety, and more. The motivational mechanism plays an important role in ensuring the economic security of the enterprise and at the same time is a lever to increase competitiveness in the market. The functions of the mechanism of labor motivation are singled out, among which: explanatory-substantiating, regulative, communicative, socialization, regulating. The stages of occurrence of the motive for the employee are classified. The interrelation of motives and incentives in the mechanism of labor motivation as determinants of economic security of the enterprise in competitive conditions is proved. It is proved that the mechanism of labor motivation as a determinant of economic security of the enterprise in competitive conditions should be aimed at: assistance in forming and achieving goals and objectives of the enterprise and achieving balance and equilibrium of economic goals and social responsibility of the enterprise; ensuring close cooperation between management and employees of the enterprise; focus on building a flexible mechanism; transition to a democratic style of governance and involvement of employees in decision-making.
