  • This study is an inspection of press forming product and mould using reverse engineering system. The inspection process on production field involves a lot of errors because of the hand-work so we focussed on improving the measured precision through performing the effective inspection using 3D non-contact scanner. By so doing that, we improved the precision of press forming product by analyzing the cause following the inspection result. Through the inspection, we applied it to the reverse engineering and we could improve the inspection process.

슬랜트방식을 이용한 스크류/볼트 선별검사시스템 개발 (Development of the Sorting Inspection System for Screw/Bolt Using a Slant Method)

  • The machine vision system has been widely applied at automatic inspection field of the industries. Especially, the machine vision system shows good performance at difficult inspection field by contact method. In this paper, the automatic system of a slant method to inspect screw/bolt shape using machine vision is developed. The inspection system uses pattern matching method that search similar degree of the lucidity, the average lucidity, length and angle of inspection set up area using a circular scan and a line scan method. Also the feeding method for inspection product is the slant method, and feed rate is controlled by the ramp angle adjustment. This inspection system is composed of a feeding device, a transfer device, vision systems, a lighting device and computer, and is composed the sorting discharge system of the inferior product. The performance test carried out the feeding speed, the shape correct degree and the sorting discharge speed according to the type of screw/bolt. This sorting inspection system showed a satisfied test results in whole inspection items. Presently, this sorting inspection system is being used in the manufacturing process of screw/bolt usefully.

  • 물품 검사를 위한 산업현장에서는 물품의 표면뿐만 아니라 내부 부품결함 검사 또한 필요하다. 일반적으로 생산 공정에서의 물품 검사로 광학 검사를 많이 이용한다. 하지만 이는 표면상의 결함만을 검사할 뿐 물품 내부의 검사를 수행하기는 어렵다. 이러한 제한점을 극복하기 위해 광학 장치 대신 휴대용 X-선 DR 영상 획득 장치를 이용하여 영상을 실시간으로 얻는 동시에 제품 불량을 판별할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다. X-선 영상을 얻은 후 머신영상 처리를 통해 설정한 기준 값에 오차범위를 허용하면 통과, 그렇지 않으면 불량으로 인식되도록 시스템을 개발하였다. 또한, 물품의 불량 유무 결과와 그 수치는 사용자가 저장할 수 있도록 하였다.

Machine Vision Algorithm Design for Remote Control External Defect Inspection

  • Recently, the scope of the smart factory has been expanded, and process research to minimize the part that requires manpower in many processes is increasing. In the case of detecting defects in the appearance of small products, precise verification using a vision system is required. Reliability and speed of inspection are inefficient for human inspection. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for inspecting product appearance defects using a machine vision system. In the case of the remote control targeted in this paper, the appearance is different for each product. Due to the characteristics of the remote control product, the data obtained using two cameras is compared with the master data after denoising and stitching steps are completed. When the algorithm presented in this paper is used, it is possible to detect defects in a shorter time and more accurately compared to the existing human inspection.

수출검사제도(輸出檢査制度)의 현황(現況)과 간소화방안(簡素化方案) (A Study on the Quality Inspection System for the Export Articles)

  • It is worthwhile to know how the quality inspection is practised to assure the product quality for the export articles, and what problem is resulted from the current quality inspection system for the export articles. The aim of this paper is to survey the status of quality inspection system for the export articles and to design the quality inspection system for the export articles so as to not only solve the problems arising from the current system but also improve the product quality for the export articles. To find out the facts the survey is conducted by sending a prepared questionnaire both to the export industries and to the export quality inspection agencies authorized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The export industries surveyed are selected to provide broad representation with respect to the type of industry as well as to the size of company. The survey shows that about 50 percent of the responding industries desire to discontinue the current quality inspection system for the export articles, and other 50 percent of them desire to continue it until all the export industries can make the best use of quality control techniques.

  • Manufacturing data analysis and its applications are getting a huge popularity in various industries. In spite of the fast advancement in the big data analysis technology, however, the manufacturing quality data monitored from the automated inspection system sometimes is not reliable enough due to the complex patterns of product quality. In this study, thus, we aim to define the level of trusty of an automated quality inspection system and improve the reliability of the quality inspection data. By correlation analysis and feature selection, this paper presents a method of improving the inspection accuracy and efficiency in an SVM-based automatic product quality inspection system using thermal image data in an auto part manufacturing case. The proposed method is implemented in the sealer dispensing process of the automobile manufacturing and verified by the analysis of the optimal feature selection from the quality analysis results.

  • 본 논문은 다양한 제품의 불량 검사를 위한 비전 검사시스템을 개발하였다. 대부분의 기존 검사 시스템은 하나의 제품에 대하여 검사가 가능하도록 설계되었다. 그래서 동일한 검사시스템에서 다른 제품을 검사하기 위해서는 비용과 시간을 들여 시스템을 업데이트하거나 교체를 해야 했다. 본 논문에서는 추가적인 작업이 없어도 적은 비용으로 다양한 제품을 검사할 수 있는 유연한 검사시스템을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 사용하기 편리한 사용자 인터페이스와 특별한 변경 없어도 다양한 제품에 적용 가능한 영상처리 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 히스토그램의 형태에 따라 제한된 범위 내에서 임계값을 변경하면서 정상제품 이미지와 불량제품 샘플 이미지간의 상관계수를 구하고 구한 상관계수에서 가장 작은 것을 해당 제품의 검사에 사용할 임계값으로 결정한다. 시스템을 검증하기 위해 핸드폰 케이스 불량 검사에 적용하여 Otsu의 방법과 비교하였다.

  • Balance Shaft Module is module parts that is installed to vehicles engine to reduce noise and vibration of vehicles engine. Balance Shaft Module's performance exerts important influence on performance of engine. Therefore, must be able to warrant quality and performance of Balance Shaft Module. Existing product found and revised error at continuous process of production, and estimated failure mode in Balance Shaft Module. Previous method hard to secure product that performance is excellent, and bring a lot of damages economically. Therefore, development of inspectin system for quality inspection of parts and performance test of assembly is essential in Balance Shaft Module. In this study, represented development process of automatic dynamic inspection system to test performance and detect breakdown of Balance Shaft Module that is producing in Dongbo.
