This Study deals with the problem of determining a minimum cost sampling inspection plan for destructive testing by attribute. The linear cost model(LCM) is constructed under the assumption that unit cost, destructive testing cost, producer's risk cost, consumer's risk cost are given. For the solution from the LCM, we assumed the uniform distribution as a prior distribution.

Twenty seven strains of Lactobacillus acidophilus among 92 isolated from fecal contents of humans, pigs, calves, chickens, rodents and turkeys demonstrated inhibitory attributed to bacteriocin(s). The bacteriocin(s) were heat stable and nondialyzable proteinous compounds and exhibited narrow inhibitory spectra of activity. Neither hydrogen peroxide nor low pH were responsible for inhibitory action. All of the producer strains were resistant to their own bacteriocin or bacteriocin(s) produced by other strains. The bacteriocins from several strains from different host species were purified for further characterization. The bacteriocin(s) all exhibited similar characteristics.

This paper deals with a test procedures on reliablity using hybrid censoring when failure time follows two parameter Weibull distribution. In each case of single and two stage test with hybrid censoring, we construct a operating characteristic curve, and then obtain the censoring number and sample size which the producer's risk and the consumer's risk are both satisfied. This study suggests to determine the expected waiting time at a decision.

Consumers require various quality characteristics including safety. The reduction of risk concerned on product safety becomes an urgent issue in leading companies. The strategy for customer satisfaction by choosing attractive quality characteristic is not enough for risk reduction in view of producer. This paper presents a method for choosing quality characteristics and risk characteristics by integrating QFD based on quality requirements and AHP based on safety requirements, also shows its application for complex equipment.

This research is about the remote control of the infra-ray signal producer and the received signal memory-type control unit. Also by using the infra-ray signal from the remote control, reduction of malfunctions due to infra-ray signal from other devices are presented. Applications on various electric and electronic items to improve the convenience are also shown.

'생산자책임재활용제도'는 제품생산자나 포장재를 이용한 제품의 생산자에게 그 제품이나 포장재의 폐기물에 대하여 일정량의 재활용의무를 부여하여 재활용하게 하고, 이를 이행하지 않을 경우 재활용에 소요되는 비용 이상의 재활용 부과금을 생산자에게 부과하는 제도이다. EPR(Extended Producer Responsibility)의 개념은 종전의 생산자들은 재활용이 쉬운 재질 구조의 제품을 생산하여 이를 판매하는 시점까지만 책임을 지고, 사용 후 발생된 폐기물은 소비자의 책임이었으나, 이제는 사용 후 발생되는 폐기물의 재활용까지 생산자의 책임으로 범위를 확대한다는 의미로 자리매김하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우 완전히 새로운 개념의 제도가 아니라 이미 생산자책임원칙에 의해 '92년부터 운영해 오고 있는 예치금제도를 보완 개선하여 '03. 1. 1일부터 시행하고 있는 상황이다. 본 고에서는 EPR 제도의 현황 및 성과에 대해 포장재 재활용을 중심으로 살펴보도록 한다.

대중문화의 용어는 독일어로서 '마스'(Uass)와 '쿨투어'(Kultur)의 복합어이다. '마스', '마센'(복수: 많은 정도를 의미함)이란 유럽사회에서 비귀족적이고 교육을 받지 못한 계층으로, 오늘날 중하 이하 계충의 사람들을 칭하는 말이다. '쿨투어'(문화라는 의미)는 영어의 '하이 컬처(high cultur) 즉 고급문화'로서 유럽사회의 교육을 잘 받은 엘리트 계층이 수용하는 미술, 음악, 문학 등과 상징적 산물인 건축의 실내외 장식, 조경 등을 가리킬 뿐만 아니라 이러한 문화예술의 애호가들인 교양인, 지식인의 감정이나 사고의 유형 등까지도 포함하는 말이다.(중략)

From virtually no steel production after the Koran war, steel industry in Korea had a phenomenal growth to reach crude steel production of 40 million tons level in 1997 and became the 6th largest steel producer in the world. The growth owes to steel technologies developed elsewhere over centuries and decisive management decisions to adopt new technologies as quickly as possible. Steel technologies are reviewed and brief overviews of welding research in Korea are presented.

Workability time of superplasticized concrete is maintained generally for 30-60 minutes only. Therefore it is of great advantage for the concrete producer to use a high range water reducer which provides an extended slump life. Recently slump retentive srperplasticizer has been developed. Concrete mixing tests were done to know slump, setting, air content, bleeding and hardening characteristics of concrete using slump retentive superplasticizer. With slump retentive superplasticizer, high quality concrete was produced and slump loss of concrete was reduced in big way, making long transportation time possible as a practical alternative to on-site addition.
