Redistricting of National Assembly Election has a significant effect on the results of election because it has a strong tendency to be performed with political intentions rather than the equivalent representativeness of population and region. This paper focuses on proposing an alternative for restricting of National Assembly Election in terms of implementation, that is, an procedural and systematic approach, not allowing for political or arbitrary intervention. A spatial optimization model conforming with criteria for political redistricting such as population equality, contiguity, and spatial compactness is developed and applied to Yongin City where are some controversy over the redistricting of the 19th National Assembly. Modeling results show that it is possible to derive National Assembly Election districts based on the information of basic spatial units without political consideration or arbitrary intervention. In addition, The districts derived from the model improved population equality compared with the existing districts.

This study aims to examine the relationship between performance evaluation systems and managerial effectiveness of responsible administrative agencies. Previous studies mainly emphasize the institutional changes of evaluation system and its impacts. This study articulate important factors in performance evaluation systems like interactive communications the credibility of performance indicators top manager's concern. A survey was conducted by 510 employees of local statistical office agencies and a structural equation modeling was used in order to test hypotheses. Results show that the credibility of performance indicators and top manager's concern about evaluation are positively related to performance results and procedural transparency and to managerial effectiveness. Interactive communication did not show statistically significant on managerial effectiveness. The empirical test results indicated that the interactive communication about the evaluation system of responsible administrative agencies should be considered.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of the delay reasons in consumer decision making on experienced emotion and shopping mall satisfaction under the Internet shopping environment. A survey was conducted for this study and 500 answer sheets were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results are as follows: First, performance risk, financial risk, and social risk significantly have a positive effect on negative emotions for Internet shopping. Second, performance risk has a significant negative effect on positive emotions for Internet shopping. Third, social risk and procedural uncertainty significantly have a positive effect on positive emotions and this shows these reasons are related to pleasure and fun. Forth, needs uncertainty has a negative effect on negative emotions for Internet shopping. Finally, positive and negative emotions that consumer experienced for Internet shopping affect Internet shopping mall satisfaction.

The threat to information security is growing globally. To this, organizations are increasing the weight of adapting and operating the more specialized information security policy and system. Information security requires participation from the employees who execute the security system and policy, and to increase the level of organization's internal security, requires organization's systematic support to improve employees' information security compliance intention. This research finds the mechanism for improving employee's information security compliance intention by applying justice theory and goal setting theory in information security. We use structural equation modeling to verify the research hypothesis, and conducted a survey on the employees of organization with information security policy. In other words, this research performs verification of the research model based hypothesis which claims that security policy goal setting has positive influence on employee's level of security related justice recognition, and claims that justice has positive influence on compliance intention. The object of study is the employees of the organization that adapts information security policy, and 383 valid samples were collected via survey. Structural equation modeling was performed to verify the research hypothesis. The result shows that security policy goal factor (goal difficulty, goal specificity) improves employee's security related justice recognition, and that security related justice (distribution, process, and information justice) has positive influence on compliance intention. The result suggests the strategic approach directions for improving employees' compliance intention on organization's security policy.

Personal Air Vehicle (PAV), Cargo UAS (Cargo UAS), and existing manned and unmanned aircraft are key vehicles for urban air mobility (UAM), and should demonstrate compatibility for the design of aircraft systems. The safety assessment required by for certification to ensure safety and reliability should be systematically performed throughout the entire cycle from the beginning of the aircraft development process. However, with the increasing complexity of safety critical aviation systems and the application of state-of-the-art systems, conventional experience-based and procedural-based safety evaluation methods make ir difficult to objectively assess safety requirements and system safety. Therefore, Model-Based Safety Assessment (MBSA) using modeling and simulation techniques is actively being studied at domestic and foreign countries to address these problems. In this paper, we propose a Model-Based Safety Evaluation framework utilizing modeling and simulation-based integrated flight simulators. Our case studies on the Traffic Collision Availability System (TCAS) and Wheel Brake System (WBS) confirmed that they are practical for future safety assessments.

Process-based crop models have been used to assess the impact of climate change on crop production. These models are implemented in procedural or object oriented computer programming languages including FORTRAN, C++, Delphi, Java, which have a stiff learning curve. The requirement for a high level of computer programming is one of barriers for efforts to develop and improve crop models based on biophysical process. In this study, we attempted to develop a Chinese cabbage model using Microsoft Excel with Visual Basic for Application (VBA), which would be easy enough for most agricultural scientists to develop a simple model for crop growth simulation. Results from Soil-Plant-Atmosphere-Research (SPAR) experiments under six temperature conditions were used to determine parameters of the Chinese cabbage model. During a plant growing season in SPAR chambers, numbers of leaves, leaf areas, growth rate of plants were measured six times. Leaf photosynthesis was also measured using LI-6400 Potable Photosynthesis System. Farquhar, von Caemmerer, and Berry (FvCB) model was used to simulate a leaf-level photosynthesis process. A sun/shade model was used to scale up to canopy-level photosynthesis. An Excel add-in, which is a small VBA program to assist crop modeling, was used to implement a Chinese cabbage model under the environment of Excel organizing all of equations into a single set of crop model. The model was able to simulate hourly changes in photosynthesis, growth rate, and other physiological variables using meteorological input data. Estimates and measurements of dry weight obtained from six SPAR chambers were linearly related ($R^2=0.985$). This result indicated that the Excel/VBA can be widely used for many crop scientists to develop crop models.

Purpose - This study examines the adverse press coverage that has increased in proportion to the remarkable growth of various kinds of franchise businesses in the food service industry. Today, the trust of franchisees in relation to their franchisor, and the maintenance of good relations between the two, has become a significant social issue. This study investigates relationship satisfaction and the long-term commitment between the franchisor and franchisee. Research design, data, methodology - We used a path analysis to investigate the relationship between justice and trust, trust and relationship satisfaction, justice and relationship satisfaction, trust and long-term commitment, and relationship satisfaction and long-term commitment. Structural Equation Modeling and a Sobel test were used to investigate the mediating effects of trust and relationship satisfaction. Data were collected from 237 Food Franchisees in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province in order to test the theoretical model and its hypotheses. Two research methodologies are generally used in the distribution management field. For this study, an empirical method was used. Results - A causal analysis was carried out to test if the research model has a sufficient fit index (for instance, χ² = 46.694, df = 10, p = .000, GFI = 0.946, AGFI = 0.850, RMR = 0.034, NFI = 0.966, CFI = 0.973), and the results showed that the model was sufficient, thus demonstrating the suitability of the research model. Each hypothesis had a positive influence, both on long-term commitment and relationship satisfaction. Justice with the franchisor had a positive influence on trust. Relation satisfaction cognized by franchisees was found to positively influence long-term commitment. The franchisee perception of justice in relation to the franchisor had no significant influence on long-term commitment. The study investigated the hypothesis that trust could mediate justice and long-term commitment, and that relationship satisfaction could also mediate long-term commitment Both trust and relationship satisfaction were found to be important for long-term commitment. Specifically, trust sub-factors and justice sub-factors influenced long-term commitment. Identification-based and knowledge-based trust were more important than calculus-based trust. Distributive justice was deemed more important than procedural justice; distributive justice should thus be strengthened. Conclusions - Both franchisor and franchisee were independent businesses. Evidently however, the franchisor could not ensure profit without long-term commitment from the franchisee. As for the success of the franchise business, the franchisor should carry out appropriate strategies leading to a satisfactory relationship. For example, transparency makes it possible to maintain and enhance trust and to improve relationship satisfaction. Just relations between franchisor and franchisee should make it possible to maintain and enhance the franchisee's trust. The franchisor should provide a variety of information with respect to the franchisee's business success. Finally, in order to improve the franchisee's long-term commitment, the franchisor should ensure a just approach with trust and relationship satisfaction among their strategies.

This study applied the web crawling technique for extracting big data news on water quality accidents in the water supply system and presented the algorithm in a procedural way to obtain accurate water quality accident news. In addition, in the case of a large-scale water quality accident, development patterns such as accident recognition, accident spread, accident response, and accident resolution appear according to the occurrence of an accident. That is, the analysis of the development of water quality accidents through key keywords and sentiment analysis for each stage was carried out in detail based on case studies, and the meanings were analyzed and derived. The proposed methodology was applied to the larval accident period of Incheon Metropolitan City in 2020 and analyzed. As a result, in a situation where the disclosure of information that directly affects consumers, such as water quality accidents, is restricted, the tone of news articles and media reports about water quality accidents with long-term damage in the event of an accident and the degree of consumer pride clearly change over time. could check This suggests the need to prepare consumer-centered policies to increase consumer positivity, although rapid restoration of facilities is very important for the development of water quality accidents from the supplier's point of view.
