간호대학생의 공감능력과 자아존중감이 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향: 의사소통능력의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The effects of empathy and self concept on problem solving: Focusing on the mediating effect of communication of nursing students)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effect of nursing students' empathy and self-esteem on problem-solving ability through the mediated effect of communication skills. Methods: Data were collected from 179 nursing students between 1 October and 30 October, 2018 from three universities in Gyeonggi-Do. Data on subjects' general characteristics, empathy, self-esteem, communication skills, and problem solving ability were collected using a structured self-reporting questionnaire. Results: Of the total subjects, 89.9% were female. The subjects' empathy was 3.40±0.36, self-esteem was 3.16±0.56, communication skills was 3.65±0.48, and problem-solving ability was 3.52±0.42. Communication skills showed a partial mediating effect on the relationship between empathy and problem solving ability. Communication skills also showed a partial mediating effect on the relationship between self-esteem and problem solving ability. Conclusion: These findings indicate that it will be more effective to develop strategies that can improve empathy, self-esteem, and communication skills together when developing programs that improve problem-solving ability.

  • 창의력이나 문제해결력과 같은 고차원적인 사고 능력은 주어진 문제의 정 오답만으로는 진단이 어려우며, 진단을 위해서는 교수자가 학습자의 문제 해결 과정을 지켜보거나 해결 과정에 대한 학습자의 보고 과정이 요구된다. 더구나 교수자의 학습자에 대한 관찰이 불가능한 온라인 학습이나 버추얼 클래스와 같은 환경에서는 학습자의 문제 해결 과정을 평가하거나 학습자 스스로 자신의 부족한 부분을 진단하는 것은 더욱 어려워진다. 이러한 문제를 해결하는 최선의 방법은 학습자가 문제를 해결하는 동안을 추적하여 그 과정을 보고해 주는 것이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 MS 오피스군의 소프트웨어를 활용하여 주어진 문제를 해결하는 동안 학습자의 작업 내역을 트레이싱하여 최종적으로 학습자에게 자신의 부족한 부분을 진단해 주고 자신의 능숙도와 소프트웨어를 응용하여 주어진 문제를 해결하는 과정에 대한 평가를 해주는 모듈을 개발하였으며, 본 진단 모듈의 효용성 평가를 위하여 실제 MOS 시험을 준비하는 학습자 81명에 대한 적용 및 만족도 조사를 통하여 통계적으로도 유의미한 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

간호사의 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결능력 및 자기효능감이 환자안전역량에 미치는 영향 (The Survey on the Influence of Clinical Nurse's Critical Thinking Disposition, Problem-solving Skill and Self-efficacy on Patients Safety Competencies)

  • 본 논문은 임상간호사의 환자안전역량 강화를 위한 기초자료로 제공하기 위해 환자안전역량에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결능력 및 자기효능감을 독립변수로 정하여 서술적 조사연구를 시행하였으며, 중소병원에 근무하는 6개월 이상 경력의 임상간호사 373명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석 결과 환자안전역량에 영향을 미치는 요인은 문제해결능력(${\beta}=.403$, p<.001)이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났으며 자기효능감(${\beta}=.156$, p=.005), 환자안전사고 보고 경험(${\beta}=.137$, p=.002), 비판적 사고성향(${\beta}=.130$, p=.018) 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 변수는 대상자의 환자안전역량에 대해 42.3%(adj $R^2=.423$) 설명하였다(F=20.305, p<.001). 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결능력, 자기효능감은 학부과정에서부터 강조되는 것으로 실제 의료현장에서 환자의 안전을 최일선에서 다루는 임상간호사에게는 더욱이 필요한 요인이라고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 환자안전역량 강화를 위해서는 의료기관 자체 내에서 임상간호사를 위한 비판적 사고성향, 문제해결능력 및 자기효능감을 높이기 위한 교육프로그램과 같은 다양한 전략과 활동들이 요구된다고 생각된다. 또한 환자안전을 최우선으로 생각하고 환자안전사고 발생 시 적극적인 보고를 독려하는 한편 환자안전사고 보고를 저해하는 요인들을 면밀히 사정하여 보완하여 보고율 향상과 더불어 환자안전역량 강화에도 힘써야 할 것이다.

허베이 스피리트호 기름유출사고를 통해 본 재난보도의 문제점 (Problems of Disaster Reporting in Korea - Case of Hebei Spirit Oil Spill in Taean-gun)

  • 홍수, 지진, 폭설 등과 같은 자연재해나 대형사고 등에 대한 언론의 보도양태에 대한 분석연구들은 국내외를 막론하고 많이 이루어지지 못했다. 이러한 재난은 거의 매년 끊임없이 발생하고, 이에 대한 보도와 그에 대한 비판이 계속되었음에도 불구하고, 이러한 보도방식에 대한 학문적 비판과 대안이 미흡했다는 것은 큰 문제점이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 맥락에서, 본 연구에서는 2007년 12일 충남 태안군에서 발생한 허베이 스피리트호 기름유출 사고에 대한 대응 및 복구과정에서 한국의 언론보도가 재난관리 과정상 제대로 역할을 수행했는지를 분석해 보고, 아울러 개선방안을 제시하였다. 허베이 스피리트호 기름유출사고를 통해 본 우리 나라의 재난보도의 문제점을 요약해 보면, 먼저 부정확한 보도가 다수 발생하여 피해자인 태안주민들을 더욱 곤경에 빠뜨리는 오류를 범하였다는 점이다. 또한, 사건 초기에 기름유출사고에 대한 잘못된 이름 짓기가 있었고, 재난보도의 근간이 피해자 중심이 아닌 독자 중심의 보도로 일관하였다는 점이다. 끝으로, 자원봉사에 대한 과잉보도로 인해 정작 사건의 본질과 피해당사자의 구호 등은 취재 및 보도에서 밀리는 현상이 초래되었다. 향후 재난보도는 피해자 중심의 보도, 방재 및 문제해결 보도 등의 취재를 지향하고, 아울러 재난전문 기자를 양성해야 한다.

치위생과 학생이 임상실습에서 경험한 무례함과 스트레스 대처와의 관련성 (Incivility and stress coping experienced by dental hygiene students in clinical practice)

  • This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the experience of incivility in clinical practice and stress coping strategies among students enrolled in the Department of Dental Hygiene with clinical practice experience. The study randomly sampled subjects from a group of 150 dental hygiene students attending the Chungcheong area. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation analysis were conducted. The trainees experienced a level of incivility of 1.69, and their level of coping with the resulting stress was 2.58. The study found significant results in terms of gender, clinical practice, and major satisfaction when examining the incivility experienced by trainees based on general characteristics. Among these general characteristics, there were statistically significant differences in the avoidance focus among the sub-domains depending on the grade, number of practicums, and satisfaction with clinical practice. Additionally, the problem-solving focus showed significant results depending on satisfaction with the major. The incivility experienced by trainees showed a positive correlation with avoidance-oriented coping among stress coping strategies (r=.268), social support-seeking coping (r=-.045), and problem-solving-oriented coping (r=-.034) was found to have a negative correlation. If you find yourself in a situation where you encounter incivility, it is believed that developing communication skills and assertiveness training can help you respond more actively instead of passively, which is an avoidance-oriented approach. In addition, it is important to consider that schools and training organizations should collaborate to establish an official reporting system to ensure that any instances of incivility experienced by trainees are not ignored.

  • Workflow 형태로 수행되는 BT 분야에서의 생명정보 분석과정을 효과적으로 모델링하고 자동화하기 위한 통합 Bio-Workflow 시스템(Biowoks)을 개발하였다. 사용자는 Bioworks 시스템을 통하여 복잡한 생명정보 분석과정에 대한 Workflow 모델을 손쉽게 구성할 수 있으며, 이를 실행하여 단계별 중간 결과물을 생성할 수 있다. 또한 각각의 중간 결과물에 대한 가시화 및 검증 모듈을 플러그 인 형태로 제공함으로써 보다 손쉽게 분석업무를 수행할 수 있다. 작성된 생명정보 분석 Workflow를 XML 형태로 생성하여 웹 서비스를 통해 공유함으로써 연구자 간의 협업 연구를 통한 시너지 효과를 극대화 할 수 있다.

실과교과의 교수 .학습 방법에 대한 교사들의 인식 (The Perception of Teachers on the Instructional Method of Practical Arts Education)

  • This study examined teacher perception of the instructional method. activities and material in terms of class quality enhancement. Also this study established instructional method. activities and material application Per 7th Practical Arts Education Course guidance domain. and type identification of the instructional method and activities unique to the Practical arts curriculum. Conclusions : 1. Teachers consider the instructional method and material beneficial. However in the item relevant to application of diverse instructional methods Per specific teaching objective and educational content in the actual classroom. the highest percentage responding. ‘relatively yes’ (39.7%) . balanced out with those answering. ‘no’(37.7%) 2. In linking the instructional method and material to secondary school home economics education, teachers experienced difficulty in teaching only the clothing education domain . 3. In each guidance domain, lecture method, problem-solving learning. cooperative learning. home project learning and functional learning were surveyed for instructional method suitability. Notably, home project learning was identified as a significant instructional method. This result begs in-dept analysis as home project learning may be utilized as a tool to compensate for the absence of practical educational objective condition fulfillment and to substitute for teachers unable to Provide such functional guidance in class. 4. In each guidance domain. role-playing. debate/discussion. case study research, practical exercise and activity reporting were rated as essential teaching ㆍ learning activities. 5. In each guidance domain.‘VCR’, ‘CD-ROM’ and ‘Web media’ were identified as suitable instructional materials .

사고현장과 사령실간 화상전송기술에 관한 연구 (A study on the moving picture transmission method between the accident sites and control center)

  • Whenever the accidents occur in the railway areas, their prompt recovery is very important. The individual way has been used to resolve these accidents by direct visiting the site and reporting to others who cares for these cases. As a result, we are planning to operate the MTS (Moving picture Transmission System) for a timely information's transmission to the related peoples in the central control center by transforming the picture information on the accident-site to the digital information. The proposed system is not a transmission system using exclusive lines, but utilizing the existing railway computer network. We construct a network server device so that a dispatcher can easily connect with the server through the railway intranet. In some railway environments such as disturbed field situations and geographical condition(in tunnels and bridges, etc) building up the wired network is difficult. Solving this problem, we reviewed the wireless network. Finally we proposed the mixed wireless network that is able to cover the wired network. We then installed and tested the wired network and wireless network respectively in wayside of a railway field. Through the testing, we identified many detailed matters for some network construction approaches to the control room and many field device-connecting schemes. This research will contribute to minimize the number of staff dispatched to a disturbed field, decrease the accident recovery time and improve the quality of service to the passenger.

응급환자 간호를 위한 시뮬레이션 교육효과: 메타분석 (Effects of Simulation-Based Education for Emergency Patient Nursing Care in Korea: A MetaAnalysis)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this review was to evaluate the effects of emergency nursing simulation program on nursing students and nurses. Methods: This systematic review was performed as per the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses and using the R program meta package (version 4.9-2). RISS, KISS, and DBpia Library databases were searched for studies published between June 2000 and August 2018 using the following key words: ($Emerge^*$ OR nursing) AND ($nurs^*$ OR simulation). Selected studies were assessed for methodological quality using Risk of Bias for Non randomized Studies. Results: 7 studies were identified and all of them met the inclusion criteria. The outcome variables were significant clinical performance, self-efficacy except knowledge, and problem-solving ability. Conclusion: This review provides updated evidence of the simulation-based education program in emergency nursing. Further studies are required to increase generalizability using randomized population, research design and controlled trials with sufficient sample size. Moreover, valid measurements are needed to assess the main outcomes.

국내 공학교육에서의 플립러닝 연구에 대한 체계적 고찰 (A Systematic Review of Flipped Learning Research in Domestic Engineering Education)

  • Flipped learning, which involves listening to lectures at home and performing dynamic group-based problem-solving activities in the classroom, is recently evaluated as a learner-centered teaching method, and interest and applications in engineering education are increasing. Therefore, this study aims to provide practical guidelines for successful application through empirical research analysis on the use of flipped learning in domestic engineering education. Through the selection criteria and keyword search, a systematic review of 36 articles was conducted. As a result of the analysis, flipped learning research in engineering education has increased sharply since 2016, focusing on academic journals and reporting its application cases and effects. Most of the research supported that flipped learning was effective not only for learners' learning activities(e.g., academic achievement, satisfaction, engagement, learning-flow, interaction), but also for individualized learning and securing sufficient practice time. It was often used in major classes with 15 to less than 50 students, especially in computer-related major courses. Most of them consisted of watching lecture videos, active learning activities, and lectures by instructors, and showed differences in management strategies for each class type. Based on the analysis results, suggestions for effective flipped learning management in future engineering education were presented.
