The clinical, investigative, and surgical experiences were reviewed in four patients with congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries who presented to the National Medical Center between August 1983 and August 1985. This condition is very rare congenital anomaly defined as the combination of atrioventricular discordance and transposition of the great arteries. Examples of primitive [single] ventricle inverted [that is, left sided in situs solitus] with outflow chamber were excluded in this paper. According to the sequential arrangement of the hearts there were two cases of [S,L,L] and two cases of [I,D,D]. The surgical approach should be focused on minimizing the risk of heart block and increasing the degree of relief of pulmonary outflow tract obstruction [POTO]. We experienced complete heart block in two cases of [S,L,L] and significant residual POTO in one case of [S,L,L] and one case of [I,D,D] postoperatively. There were one hospital mortality caused by complete heart block and residual POTO and two delayed mortalities caused by congestive heart failure and sepsis respectively.

Construction accident happens all of the process in work and contains materials types of causes. Especially, temporary work material in the great problem in industrial accident. Because temporary work In essential to build the main structure. The most frequent type of accident by the temporary work is the falling and so on. Its causes were the failure of scaffolding, imperfection of temporary material etc. These accident properties the Primitive and repetitive accident. The prevention counterplan of construction accident by temporary material work in need to protect worker and make more safer construction site. Therefore in this paper analyzed of the serious accident of construction by the temporary work material and present reasonable solution method to reduce the construction accident by the temporary work material.

The theory of subjective preference with temporal and spatial factors which include sound signals arriving at both ears is described. Then, auditory evoked potentials which may relate to a primitive subjective response namely subjective preference are discussed. According to such fundamental phenomena, a workable model of human auditory-brain system is proposed. For eample, important subjective attributes, such as loudness, coloration, threshold of preception of a reflection and echo distrubance as well as subjective preference in relation to the initial time delay gap between the direct sound and the first reflection, and the subsequent reverberation time are well described by the autocorrelation function of source signals. Speech clarity, subjective diffuseness as well as subjective preference are related to the magnitude of inter-aural crosscorrelation function (IACC). Even the caktail party effects may be eplained by spatialization of human brain, i.e., independence of temporal and spatial factors.

In this study, the performance prediction programs for centrifugal pumps are developed. To estimate the losses in the centrifugal pump impellers, two-zone model and TEIS(two elements in series) model are applied to the program. The basic concept of two zone model considers the primary zone that is an isentropic core flow and the secondary zone that is non-isentropic region at the impeller exit. The flows through two different zones mixed out at the impeller exit and the mixing process occurs with an increase in entropy, a decrease in total pressure. The level of the core flow diffusion in a impeller was calculated using TEIS(two elements in series) model. The effects of various parameters which are used in this program on the prediction of head and efficiency are discussed. The correlation curves to select the effectiveness of the primitive TEIS model were suggested according to the specific speed of the centrifugal pumps.

Li2O-B2O3-P2O5 glasses with high lithium content were analysed by electrical characterization. The electrical conductivity increase with Li content and exhibits a maximum value of 1.2$\times$10-4S/cm near B2O3/P2O5=1 at 15$0^{\circ}C$. Glass transitiion temperature increased with conductivity. Concentration of charge carrier and distribution of relaxation time were independent of temperature. In this system the variation of conductivity with the composition was depend on mobility of lithium ion. Basically, it is attribute to primitive activation energy. Enhancement of conductivities was related to be formation of (B-O-P)-, di-, and metaborate group, which give additional available sites for Li+ diffusion.

As an effort to clarify the ecosystem of Osaka Bay, a semi-enclosed coastal area under the influence of stratification, a three-dimensional water quality model with combination of the baroclinic flow model and primitive eco-system model was constructed. The proposed model succeeded in simulating the time-depending flow and density structure and the baroclinic residual currents in Osaka Bay. In present study, we tried to improve the model by taking account of the benthic-pelagic interaction and exchange of nutrients between sea bottom sediments and overlaying water. On vertical structure, the model consists of 13 layers of water and eight layers of sediments. Long-term prediction of water quality was conducted from 1964 to 1985. This period is characterized by rapid water pollution and its decrease by the cutoff reduction of COD and P flowed into Osaka Bay. By combining the sediment model into original model, the numerical model was confirmed to shows more reasonable results in simulating the water quality in Osaka Bay.

This paper presents a calculation method of an induced voltage on telecommunication lines using primitive impedance matrix. The advantages of the method are using actual neutral current value and not using screening factor for considering the overhead ground wire and neutral wire. To verify the effectiveness and accuracy of the method, case studies are performed with EMTP (Electro-Magnatic Transient Program).

The main purpose of this paper is using the properties of Gauss sums, primitive characters and the mean value theorems of Dirichlet L-functions to study the hybrid mean value of the r-th hyper-Kloosterman sums Kl(h,k+1,r;q) and E(c,k+1;q), and give an interesting mean value formula.

We present a physics-based blending method for the second order algebraic implicit surface. Unlike other traditional blending techniques, the proposed method avoids complex mathematical operations and unwanted artifacts like bulge, which have highly limited the application of the second order algebraic implicit surface as a modeling primitive in spite of lots of its excellent properties. Instead, the proposed method provides the designer with flexibility to control the shapes of the blending surface on interactive basis; the designer can check and design the shape of blending surfaces accurately by simply adjusting several physics parameter in real time, which was impossible in the traditional blending methods. In the later parts of this paper, several results are also presented.

In this paper, we have first presented the construction of the linear characters of a finite Coxeter group $G_n$ of type $B_n$ by lifting all linear characters of the quotient group $G_n/[G_n,G_n]$ of the commutator subgroup $[G_n,G_n]$. Also we show that the sets of distinguished coset representatives $D_A$ and $D_{A^{\prime}}$ for any two signed compositions A, A' of n which are $G_n$-conjugate to each other and for each conjugate class ${\mathcal{C}}_{\lambda}$ of $G_n$, where ${\lambda}{\in}\mathcal{BP}(n)$, the equality ${\mid}{\mathcal{C}}_{\lambda}{\cap}D_A{\mid}={\mid}{\mathcal{C}}_{\lambda}{\cap}D_{A^{\prime}}{\mid}$ holds. Finally, we have given the general structure of units of Mantaci-Reutenauer algebra.
