Rather than end up post-modernism in the past, such trend has affected many in the design of modern furniture. Appeal to emotion in order to achieve an intimate relationship with the user, especially in the new material, you are the fulfillment of desire more than a simple function. In addition, designers of modern Many or even looking from the re-interpretation of the design past the motif of the design such as the time that post-modernism has arrived. Users who are using the furniture, because there is a tendency to features In addition to the primary that it has, you have to Want the meaning of one another, and to Serve by generating story distance from him this some. In this study, to target households that still is very important in modern design, and a historic of postmodernism the concept with a different meaning functional, the figurative to break free from meaning one-dimensional with the furniture I was analyzed on the basis of the flow.

  • In recent years, the safety of sunscreens has been challenged based on the reports of its adverse effect on users; dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, photoallergic contact dermatitis. To investigate a correlation between sun protection factor (SPF) and the safety of sunscreens, we measured in vitro SPF index using homosalate as a standard and examined the toxicity tests on cosmetics; primary and cumulative skin irritation tests, ocular irritation test, and skin sensitization test.(omitted)

  • Scratch-based programming has come to be known as an effective programming tool because of its graphic instruction modules, which are designed to be assembled like the famous LEGO building blocks. These building block-like structures allow users to more easily program applications without using other more difficult programming languages such as C or Java, which are text-based. Therefore, it poses a good opportunity for application in educational settings, especially in primary schools. This paper presents an effective approach to developing an educational robot for use in elementary schools. Furthermore, we present the method for scratch programming based on the external modules need for the implementation of robot motion. Lastly, we design a systematic curriculum, titled "Play with a Robot," and propose guidelines to using the educational programming language Scratch.

  • Distributing information on the internet is common in our daily life. In the past, e-mail has been the primary choice of exchanging information, but instant messengers are gaining popularity abroad and domestically because of their immediate responses. Instant messaging has become the fastest growing communication technology in recent years. Instant messaging is effectively a chat room for two people. Users that have accounts with the same provider are able to send messages via computer in real time. Instant messaging has exploded into the business world as companies now utilize the technology for everything from interoffice communication to client/customer communication. In this paper, we propose a method of instant messenger system design for effective collaboration of statistical data collection.

  • In this paper, we propose a cooperative spectrum sensing scheme using the spatial diversity of secondary users (SUs). In our scheme, a SU makes an estimation whether the primary user (PU) is active or not using the signals from the other SUs. We know that the diversity order of miss detection probability increases as the number of SUs increases from the simulation result.

  • Service channel environments have changed dramatically with the advent of new, online digital channels. This article studies the effects of perceived multi-channel service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty in the banking industry and the moderating role of age, which is a characteristic of customers. The objective is to identify the quality factors that affect the overall satisfaction and loyalty of a multi-channel customer. A quantitative study was conducted on 900 customers, with the main targets being users of the nine primary Korean retail banks. Results show that perceived service quality of the physical environment, human service, Internet banking, mobile banking, and ATM has a positive influence on overall satisfaction and loyalty. Age moderates the relationship among physical environment quality, human service, and customer loyalty.

  • A primary concern of physical database design has been efficient retrieval and update of a record because predictable performance of a DBMS is indispensable to time-critical missions. To maintain such phenomenal performance, database manages often spends more than or as much as the goal of an organization can warrant. The motivation of this research stems from the fact that even predictable performance of a physical database can be hampered by stochastic query processing time, physical configurations of a database, and random arrival processes of queries. They all together affect the overall performance of a DBMS. In particular, if there are queuing delays due to limited capacity or during on-peak congestion, this paper suggest to prioritize database services. A surprising finding of this paper is that such a transition from a non-priority system to a corresponding priority-based system can be Pareto-improving in the sense that no users in the system will be worse off after the transition. Thus prioritizing database services can be a viable option for efficient database management.

  • Objective is to design a high performance purification filter system of reactor coolant and seal injection system at nuclear power station. The purification filter systems play an important role in the stability of the nuclear and volume control system which consist the primary network systems of the nuclear power station. But the users of the purification filter systems frequently suffer from high maintenance cost which comes from lack of understanding of the system technology and domestic suppliers. It is time to establish a high performance domestic filter system manufacturing technology and optimum design for wide use in industrial applications.

  • The FAA, along with the ICAO and other members of the civil aviation community, has recognized that a GNSS will provide the primary stand-alone navigation system in the 21st Century. FAA has initiated plans to transition from its present ground-based navigation and landing system to satellite-based using signals generated by the GPS. In spite of some risks, GPS users are increasing rapidly. About 52 aircraft equipped with various GPS in their system and wide spread of GPS may be expected in Korea. However, the regulations concerning with CPS implementation were not established by the government. Another problem is GPS receiver's interface. The user interface, operating method and capability vary with GPS class and model. As a direct operator for the system, pilots have to ensure these limitations and rules for efficient adaptation and safety. The issues identified by the study are highly interrelated, and are evidence of aviation system problem. To treat one issue in isolation may improve certain aspects of the aviation system, but will ultimately fail to fundamentally increase the safety and efficiency for the system.

  • Recently, the use of mobile devices has increased, and mobile traffic is growing rapidly. In order to deal with such massive traffic, cognitive radio (CR) is applied to efficiently use limited-spectrum resources. However, there can be multiple communication systems trying to access the white space (unused spectrum), and inevitable interference may occur to cause mutual performance degradation. Therefore, understanding the effects of interference in CR-based systems is crucial to meaningful operations of these systems. In this paper, we consider a long-term evolution (LTE) system using additional spectra by accessing the TV white space, where low-power devices (LPDs) are licensed primary users, in addition to TV broadcasting service providers. We model such a heterogeneous system to analyze the co-existence problem and evaluate the interference effects of LPDs on LTE user equipment (UE) throughput. We then present methods to mitigate the interference effects of LPDs by 'de-selecting' some of the UEs to effectively increase the overall sector throughput of the CR-based LTE system.
