Accuracy of the Automating Program of Log Scaling (통나무 자로재기의 자동화 프로그램에 대한 정확성 평가)

  • Log scaling which decides a quality grade of log is influence the price of log at the market. It is the one of important works at the field until now. So it remains using a ruler traditionally. This study evaluated the automating program through compared the automating program with using a ruler for log. The automating program used libraries of OpenCV concerning image processing algorithm to measure log diameter for scaling. In addition, it applies two panels of checkered pattern beside a pile of logs and tapes on the surface of a log diameter to find a correct value. We analyzed statistical mean difference of both log diameter and volume. In conclusion, the automating program after applying check panel and taping ins't different using a ruler. Therefore we need to considerate about applying it for improving Forest Administration.

Optical Ozone Monitor Using UV Source

  • Two types of ozone monitors using UV absorption method were tried in consideration of cost of the monitor and precision in measuring. The high concentration ozone monitor for high concentration real time ozone monitoring from ozone generator was composed of a low pressure mercury lamp as UV source, a photo multiplier tube as UV detector and signal processing unit for the most part. This structure could be very useful for low price high concentration ozone monitor due to simple system structure and fairly good monitoring characteristics. The developed system showed good linear output characteristics to ozone in the measuring concentration range of 0.05 and 2 wt.%. For accuracy ambient ozone monitoring in ambient in ppm level, the system composed of a high power pulsed xenon lamp as UV source, an optical spectrometer with a high sensitivity linear CCD array as UV detector and signal processing unit in brief speaking was proposed our study for the first time in the world. The developed system showed good linearity and sensitivity in relative low measuring range between 10ppm and 10,000ppm, and showed some feasibility of high resolution ozone monitor using CCD array as photodetector.

  • A sensor system has been developed to measure the posture(position and orientation) of mobile robots working in industrial environments. The proposed sensor system consists of a CCD camera, retro-reflective landmarks, a strobe unit and an image processing board. The proposed hardware system can be built in economic price compared to commercial vision systems. The system has the capability of measuring the posture of mobile robots within 60 msec when a 386 personal computer is used as the host computer. The experimental results demonstrated a remarkable performance of the proposed sensor system in the posture measurement of mobile robots - the average error in position is less than 3 mm and the average error in orientation is less than 1.5.

  • Polystyrene foam is easily melted and vapoured by heat, has a proper quality in the pattern manufacturing and has a low price. The objective of this study is to develop a rapid prototyping method fur polystyrene foam pattern manufacuring to use the eliminative pattern casting (EPC). Applying fur the rapid prototyping concept reversely, the unnecessary part of section is vapored away by heat source of laser beam. In order to examine the applicability between laser beam process and polystyrene foam material, the basic experiments such as hole, line, plane and contour process are carried out. With these results, various three-dimensional shape patterns are made and this rapid prototyping tool for polystyrene foam manufacturing.

  • Modeling for the Internet resource is important to use of limited resource efficiently. Also, the modeling could guide how we can approach the Internet problems. The many studies of price mechanism to internalize the externality, to decrease the externality from congestion, and to use the Internet resource efficiently, are widely going on. The represent styles for Internet pricing are usage-based pricing(UBP) and flat-rat pricing(FRP) and the FRP could prefers for the beginning stage of Internet introduce. The purpose of this study is to examine the efficiency of Internet pricing mechanism based on flat-rate pricing, both consumer and producer side.

  • This paper considers a cost model for a U-shaped manufacturing cell formation which incorporates a required number of machines and various material flows together under multi-part multi-cell environment. The model is required to satisfy both the specified operation sequence of each part and the total part demand volume, which are considered to derive material handling cost in U-shaped flow line cells. In the model several cost-incurring factors including set-up for batch change-over, processing time for operations of each part, and machine failures are also considered in association with processing load and capacity of each cell. Moreover, a heuristic for a good machine layout in each cell is newly proposed based on the material handling cost of each alternative sequence layout. These all are put together to present an efficient heuristic for the U-shaped independent-cell formation problem, numerical problems are solved to illustrate the algorithm.

  • 본 연구는 국내 각 과일별 재배 면적 및 해당 지역의 날씨 등의 데이터를 이용하여 실 생산량을 예측하고 각 과일별 경합관계를 적용하여 실제 수입 되는 과일의 수입량과의 상관관계를 분석하여 실제 가격을 예측하고자 한다. 본 결과를 통해 다변화 되는 국내 과일 시장에서 농업, 수입업에 대한 방향성 제시를 그 목적으로 둔다.

  • 2016년 말, 조류인플루엔자 확산에 의해 달걀 생산량이 감소하였고, 가격은 폭등하였다. 그러나 한 가지 납득할 수 없는 것은, 비록 달걀 생산량이 감소하였을지라도 전체적인 생산 비율에서 따져본다면 가격이 폭등할 만큼은 아니라는 것이다. 소비자는 유통 과정에서 벌어지는 일들에 대한 의문점이 있을 수 있으며 알 권리가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 거래의 투명성을 보장하는 블록체인 플랫폼에서 이더리움 가상화폐 및 스마트 컨트랙트를 사용하여 거래할 것을 제안하고자 한다. 블록체인을 활용하면 거래 내역이 모두에게 공개되기 때문에, 소비자는 이 시스템으로 하여금 상품의 가격이 각각의 유통 단계를 거치면서 얼마나 비싸지는지를 확인할 수 있다. 이로 인해 도 소매업자들이 폭리를 취하는 것 역시 줄일 수 있다.

  • 노지에서 재배되는 실외작물의 경우 외부 환경에 노출되어 재배되기에 생육 또는 수학시기가 외부 요인에 많은 영향을 받는다. 이러한 외부 요인 중 과일의 당도 및 수확량에 많은 영향을 미치는 요인은 바로 날씨이다. 고온의 날씨 또는 저온의 날씨가 지속되거나 강한 풍속, 적절한 강수가 이루어지지 않을 경우 과일의 당도가 낮아지거나, 흠집이 발생할 수 있어 과일 도매가격에 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 논문에서는 월별 평균 온도, 강우량, 습도, 일사량, 최대풍속 등의 날씨 관련 데이터와 제사 또는 명절에 자주 사용되는 과실류인 배, 단감, 사과, 수박의 도매가격간의 상관관계를 분석을 통해 얻은 결과로 추후 농산물 가격 예측 또는 과일 가격 예측 연구에 기여를 하고자 한다.

Saturation Prediction for Crowdsensing Based Smart Parking System

  • Crowdsensing technologies can improve the efficiency of smart parking system in comparison with present sensor based smart parking system because of low install price and no restriction caused by sensor installation. A lot of sensing data is necessary to predict parking lot saturation in real-time. However in real world, it is hard to reach the required number of sensing data. In this paper, we model a saturation predication combining a time-based prediction model and a sensing data-based prediction model. The time-based model predicts saturation in aspects of parking lot location and time. The sensing data-based model predicts the degree of saturation of the parking lot with high accuracy based on the degree of saturation predicted from the first model, the saturation information in the sensing data, and the number of parking spaces in the sensing data. We perform prediction model learning with real sensing data gathered from a specific parking lot. We also evaluate the performance of the predictive model and show its efficiency and feasibility.
