시험용 달 궤도선의 추진제 공급부 설계 검증 Part I: 수치해석 (Engineering Validation for Propellant Isolation Assembly of Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter Part I: Numerical Analysis)

  • 본 연구에서는 지상 시험과 수치해석을 비교하여 시험용 달 궤도선의 추진제 공급부 설계 검증을 하고자 한다. 비행 모델의 유동 흐름을 모사할 수 있는 지상 시험용 검증 모델을 제작하고 있으며, 지상 시험용 검증 모델과 비교하기 위한 항목을 배관 내 전체 압력 강하량, 추력기 밸브 구동에 의한 수격현상 그리고 유량 제어 및 수격현상 완화를 위한 오리피스 장착의 세 가지로 선정하였다. 해석 결과를 향후 지상 시험 결과와 비교하여 최종적으로 설계 확정을 위한 근거 자료를 확보하고자 한다.

  • Hydrostatic transmission (HST) comprises rotary parts, shafts, valve plate, swashplate, and servo pistons. Ensuring structural stability of each part of an HST has a significant impact on product safety. In this study, the structural stability of HST in agricultural machinery and industrial vehicles was analyzed using ANSYS software. For conservative evaluation, high-pressure conditions (35.5 MPa and 2 MPa pilot pressure) were applied as load conditions. The number of grids used in the calculations ranged from 0.4 to 0.8 million depending on modeling requirements. Structural analysis was performed for essential parts and safety factor was analyzed. All major parts of HST had a safety factor of ≥ 1.5. Thus, they were judged to be structurally safe. This study provides important information for designing an HST system.

비침습적 혈압 측정 시스템 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Implemetation of Non-invasive Blood Pressure)

  • 혈압을 측정하는 방법에는 침습적(Invasive)인 방법과 비침습적(Non-invasive)인 방법이 있는데 침습적인 방법에 의한 혈압측정의 경우 정확한 값을 얻는 반면에 그 사용법이 복잡하고 환자에게 불편하므로 중환자의 경우를 제외한 경우 대부분 비침습적인 방법에 의해 혈압을 측정한다. 현재 전자 혈압계의 경우 대부분이 오실로메트릭(Oscillometric) 방법을 사용하여 기본적인 시스템을 구성하고 여기에 여러 가지 알고리즘을 부가적으로 적용하고 있다. 본 연구에서 이러한 혈압 측정 시스템을 개발하기 위해 커프(Cuff)의 압력을 제어, 측정하고 측정된 데이터를 필터링하여 혈압을 측정할 수 있도록 알고리즘을 구성하였다. 통신방식으로는 개발된 시스템의 모든 기능이 개인용 컴퓨터(Personal Computer)와의 통신을 통해 이루어지도록 구성되어져 있으며, 사용된 통신방식은 비동기 직렬 통신 방식(RS-232)인 패킷방식을 사용하였고 솔레노이드(Solenoid) 밸브를 이용한 자동 또는 급속 배기 방법을 이용하여 커프의 압력을 감압(Deflation)하였다. 혈압측정 알고리즘은 기본적인 오실로메트릭 방법과 최대 진폭 알고리즘(Maximum Amplitude Algorithm)을 사용하였다. 최대진폭 알고리즘에서는 측정된 오실레이션(Oscillation)중 최고의 진폭을 가지는 오실레이션 같은 오차의 원인이 되는 연령이나 체중, 팔의 두께에 따라 다양하게 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 오실레이션의 간에 획일적인 비율을 적용하지 않고 여러 가지 요인들에 대한 가변적인 특정 비율(Characteristic Ratio)반영하여 보다 정확한 최고혈압(Systolic Blood Pressure), 최저혈압(Diastolic Blood Pressure), 평균혈압(Mean Blood Pressure)의 값을 구하는 연구를 하였다. 최고진폭 알고리즘에서 가변적인 특성비율의 적용은 혈압간의 오차를 줄일 수 있을것으로 기대된다.

국내 평가 가이드 라인 제시를 위한 전동식 부항기의 특성 조사에 관한 연구 (Study of Mechanical Characteristics of Electric Cupping Apparatus in Korea for Suggestion of its Assessment Guideline)

  • Objectives : The mechanical properties of Korean electric cupping systems are studied via experimental measurements. The study aimed at establishing the fundamentals of industrialization and systemization of oriental medicine device industry, as well as improving the quality of life for many Koreans. Methods : We reviewed the studies on traditional cupping as well as modern one to fine necessary factors for electric cupping systems. To characterize the mechanical properties of Korean electric cupping systems, we measured the pressure characteristics of commercially available electric cupping system by using an automatic pressure acquisition system and a standard cup. The pumping capability was checked at 40 seconds, and the stability of the suction cup was checked at 600 seconds. We also acquired the noise level of each system in clinical setting. To check the portability of each system, we also measured its physical dimensions. We scrutinized system manuals provided by the system manufacturers. Results : It took less than 5 second to reach the pressure if the connection between the air hose and the vacuum valve of the cupping system was secure. Pressure diminished to no more than 10% for 600s for all systems. Noise levels were 55~70 dB. Increase in pressure was too fast to control for a designated vacuum level except for one product. Conclusions : The Pumping ability of the systems is impressive and reliable. Pressure retention ability of each cup is quite reliable and reproducible. Therefore, their mechanical performances were worthy of recommendation. Some of them had noise level higher than 60 dB and they were bothersome. It was also suggested that the control for low to middle pressure needed to be accomplished by the cupping system.

  • The 500 MW rated steam turbine model in coal fired power plant is developed to be used for validation and verification of controller rather than for the education of operator. The valve, steam turbine, reheater and generator are modeled and integrated into the simulator. And the data from the plant heat balance diagram are used for estimation of the model parameters together with actual operating data. It is found that the outputs of model such as pressure, temperature and speed are similar to the operating ones. So, it is expected that the developed model will play a very big role in controller development.

저밀도 세라믹 필터의 고온 여과 성능시험에 관한 연구 (A Study on the High Temperature Filtration Performance Test of Low Density Ceramic Filters)

  • Hot gas filtration method via using ceramic filters is an evolving technology applicable to numerous industrial and air pollution control processes. Alumino silicate, organic and inorganic binders were the major raw materials in manufacturing ceramic filters. In this work, disc type ceramic filters(50$\phi$$\times$10t) were manufactured by vacuum forming processes using ceramic raw materials. The porosity and bulk density of disc type ceramic filers ranged from 86 to 89% and from 0.27 to 0.36 g/㎤, respectively. In this work disc type ceramic medium were tested utilizing coupon experimental apparatus. Disc type filters showed high collection efficiencies over 99.96% with Darchs law coefficients of 4.1$\times$10(sup)10~9.63$\times$10(sup)10/$m^2$ depending on mean pore sizes. In addition, filtration and detachment of ceramic filters turned out to be performed effectively using 10 cm/sec face velocity, 5 minutes filtration cycle, 100msec pulse jet valve opening time and 3 bar pulsing pressure.

운전자의 가속타입이 MPI 가솔린엔진의 과도성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect on Transient Performance of Driver's Acceleration Type in MPI Gasoline Engine)

  • To provide the appropriate direction for development of transient control in a gasoline engine, transient performance analysis and evalution under four accelerating types based on typical driver's acceleration type were implemented by experimental study. In order to evaluate the characteristics of transient performance quanititatively, the concept and method by transient response specifications were introduced. Several performance parameters in terms of engine speed(RPM), manifold absolute pressure(MAP), fuel injection duration($\DeltatI_{nj}$) and air excess ratio($\lambda$) were emasured simultaneously during the four types of the throttle valve opening with the step motor controlled by PC. The result showed that transient response specifications in terms of delay time, rising time and settling time characterized the transient performance for four acceleration types quantitatively. Intensified acceleration type was most economical and linear acceleration type revealed the best emission performance.

  • According to the development of vehicle technique, the improved NVH performance is required in the vehicle which have the high effectiveness and the high output of the powertrain. This vehicle has to be adapted to active engine mounting system to reduce the vibration in accordance with various vehicle information. The pneumatic active engine mounting system is consist with engine mount, solenoid valve, air tank and control unit totally. The important technique of this system is to reduce the vibration by the air pressure. This paper contains the development process of the pneumatic active engine mounting system and confirm the performance of this system test and vehicle test.

  • This paper describes to design and to examine the mechanical characteristics of high frequency jet ventilator. The device consists of Phase lock loop(PLL) system, solenoid valve driving control part and Air regulating system. This study is carried out by changing several factors such as endotracheal tube(E.T. tube)diameter, injector cannula diameter, 1%, and frequency(breaths/mim.) having direct effects on the gas exchange as well as parameters of the entrained gas by venturi effects, so as to measure the tidal volume and minute volume. This system characteristics were as follows : 1) Frequency : 6-594bpm 2) Inspiration time : 1-99% 3) Variance of input air pressure : 1-30PSI.

재생전원 시스템의 지상 시뮬레이터용 1kW급 재생형 연료전지 개발 (Development of the 1kW Class Regenerative Fuel Cell for Ground Simulator of Regeneration Electric Power System)

  • The PEM type regenerative fuel cell(RFC) for the ground simulator of the regeneration electric power system has been designed, manufactured, and tested. In this paper, the designing and manufacturing procedures of the RFC were presented. Also, the performance test results were showed briefly. The RFC consists of PEM type stack, humidifier, pressure and flow control valve, storage tanks, pump and controller. The performance tests were carried out with stack and system performance tests. The performance targets are more than 50% stack efficiency, 1.5kW stack power, less 400W parasitic power in design condition. Most of the performances required are satisfied.
