트레일링 암 생산용 LFT-D 시스템에서의 압축성형 해석 (Compression Molding Analysis of LFT-D System for Vehicle Trailing Arm)

  • Recently, CFRP composites are widely used as lightweight materials have with excellent mechanical properties and can beare widely used in various fields. In general, thermosetting resins are used for CFRP. However, in recent years, studies have been carried out using thermoplastic resins have been actively carried out to overcome the disadvantages of thermosetting resins. The LFT-D system is a molding method in which a fiber is directly cut to a the desired length while being impregnated with a thermoplastic resin to produce a compound and that is then press-molding molded to form the product. In this paper, before the production of the trailing arm, the compression molding analysis was carried out in order to grasp the problems that may occur during production. Through cCompression molding analysis was applied to calculate of the minimum press pressure and to compare and analysis analyze the molding conditions characteristic required to formfor forming the trailing arm.

압축효과를 가미한 도광판의 전사성과 복굴절 향상에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on The Improvement of Pattern Replication and Birefringence in LGP by Adding Compression Effects)

  • It is necessary to improve the pattern replication and birefringence in LGP(Light guide panel) for better optical performance. In the present paper, the effects of injection-compression and injection-press mode with normal injection mold on the distribution of transcription of pattern and birefringence were studied. It was found that the values of pattern replication was improved and the birefringence was reduced for the cases of low initial clamping force in injection-compression mode and for the cases of longer mold opening length in injection-press mode, repectively.

  • Recently, due to the tremendous growth of media technology, demands of the aspheric glass lens which is a high-performance and miniaturized is gradually increasing. Generally, the aspheric glass lens is manufactured by GMP(Grass Molding Press) method using WC(tungsten carbide) mold core. In this study, the thermal deformation which occurs in the cooling step of GMP was considered, and it was compensated the form of mold core. The lens which was molded by compensated mold core was satisfied that can be applied to the actual specifications.

마이크로 렌즈 성형시 형상예측을 위한 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis for Shape Prediction on Micro Lens Forming)

  • Among the processes to produce micro lens, the process using press molding is a new technology to simplify the process, but it contains many unknown variables. The press-molding process proposed in this paper was simplified into two step process, the first step is the pressing to design the preform for glass element, the second step is the annealing to reduce the residual stress. It is important to estimate the amount of shrinkage of glass gob and the residual stress during process. It Is difficult to evaluate the process variables as mentioned above through the experiment. The influences due to process variables was evaluated by using FEM parametric analysis. The results in this paper can be applicable to produce micro lens.

폐목재-플라스틱을 이용한 복합패널의 특성 연구 (A Study on Properties of Waste Wood-Plastic Composite Panels)

  • 본 연구에서는 가연성 건설폐기물인 폐목재와 폐발포폴리스티렌의 유효이용을 목적으로 열압성형법에의한 폐목재-플라스틱 복합패널을 제조하였다. 전열프레스를 이용하여 다양한 성형조건하에서 복합패널 공시체를 제조하였으며, 그 겉보기 밀도, 흡수율, 흡수에 의한 두께 팽창률, 휨강도 등에 관한 일련의 실험을 행하였다. 폐목재-플라스틱 복합패널의 밀도는, 성형 온도 및 성형 시간에 관계없이, 성형 압력의 증가에 따라 높아지는 반면, 그 흡수율의 성형압력의 증가에 따라 작아진다. 복합패널의 흡수에 의한 두께 팽창률은, 성형 조건에 관계없이, 모두 1.2~2.0%의 범위에 있어, 높은 치수 안정성을 보인다. 복합패널의 휨강도는, 성형 온도 $120^{\circ}C$, 성형 시간 15min에서 일정하게 되는 경향이 있으며, 성형 온도 및 성형 시간에 관계없이, 성형 압력의 증가에 따라 현저하게 증가한다. 중합 반응과 성형을 동시에 하는 리액션프로세싱인 이 방법은, 그 제조 공정이 간단하고, 또한, 결합재로서 폐발포폴리스티렌 용액을, 골재로서 폐목재 칩을 이용하기 때문에, 공업 생산성이 있는 건설 발생 폐목재 및 폐발포폴리스티렌의 리사이클 방법으로서 지극히 유효하다고 생각된다.

CFRTP 부품제조를 위한 금형 및 성형 기술에 대한 연구 (A Study of Mold Technology for Manufacturing of CFRTP Parts)

  • The production of carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastics(CFRTP) parts using an injection/compression molding process that differs from the conventionally used fabrication methods was investigated Before the application of composite molding in the injection/compression molding process, a simple compression molding experiment was performed using a hydraulic press machine to determine the characteristics of resin impregnation and to obtain a basic physical property data for the CFRTP. Based on these results, injection/compression molded specimens were manufactured and an additional insert/over molding process was applied to improve the impregnation rate of the molded specimens. The results demonstrated that the tensile strength of the molded parts using the faster injection/compression process was similar to that of a hydraulic press molded product.

비구면 Glass렌즈 성형에 미치는 서냉조건 의존성 (Dependence of Annealing Condition on Aspheric Glass Lens Molding)

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate and to find out the optimal annealing condition to mold an aspheric glass to be used for mobile phone module having 2 megapixel and $2.5{\times}$ zoom. Taking annealing rate and re-press temperature after molding as molding variables under the identical molding temperature and pressure, a glass lens was molded. And, Form Accuracy, Lens Thickness, Refractive Index, and Modulation Transfer Function(MTF) were measured in order to observe characteristics of molded lens, and then optimal annealing conditions were determined based on the resulting data. Properties of lens molded under the optimal conditions revealed Form Accuracy[PV] $0.2047\;{\mu}m$ in aspheric surface, and $0.2229\;{\mu}m$ in plane, and MTF value was 30.3 % under 80 lp/mm.

  • High-density optical information storing equipment, which is using Blu-ray, is the next generation information storing equipment that has about form six times to thirty-five times capacities. and high-density optical information storing equipment uses high NA(Numerical Aperture) aspheric glass objective lens as optical pick-up equipment to record and recognize high-density date. Generally this objective lens is developed and produced through a way of GMP(Glass Molding Press) that uses molding core that is performde by Ultra precision grinding, but grinding performing that has high-accuracy is very difficult because objective lens form is high NA. In this research, we preformed Ultra precision turning, using single crystal diamond bite, about WC(Co 0.5%), sintering brittleness material that is used molding core's material for GMP. and we confirmed aspheric glass lens compression of deformities molding core's Ultra precision turning possibility by measuring surface roughness(Ra) and processing surface's condition.

순차이송방식 GMP 공정에서 공정변수가 유리렌즈 성형성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of the Molding Conditions on Formability in Progressive Glass Molding Press)

  • Remarkable progress had been made in both technology and production of optical elements including aspheric lens. In the past, precision optical glass lenses were produced through multiple processes such as grinding and polishing, but mass production of aspheric lenses requiring high accuracy and having complex profile was rather difficult. Against such a background, the high-precision optical GMP process was developed with an eye on mass production of precision optical glass pasts by molding press. This GMP process can produce with precision and good repeatability special form lenses such as for cameras, video cameras, aspheric lenses for optical items. In this study, Design Of Experiment(Taguchi method) was adopted to find a tendency of molding conditions that influence formability. Three main factors for molding conditions were selected based on pressure at pressing stage and temperature, pressure at cooling stage. Also, the DOE was carried out and the interference patterns were measured to evaluate the formability of GMP process. From the results, it was found that the cooling pressure is the most sensitive parameter for progressive GMP process.
