The aim of this paper is to extend the TOPSIS(Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) to the fuzzy environment for solving the disaster recovery priority decision problem in credit bureau business information system. In this paper, the rating of each information systems and the weight of each criterion are described by linguistic terms which can be expressed in trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. Then, a vertex method is proposed to calculate the distance between two trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. According to the concept of the TOPSIS, a closeness coefficient is defined to determine the ranking order of all information systems. The combination between the fuzzy set and TOPSIS brings several benefits when compared with other approaches, such that the fuzzy TOPSIS require few fuzzy judgements to parameterization, which contributes to the agility of the decision process, it does not limit the number of alternatives simultaneously evaluated, and it does not cause the ranking reversal problem when a new alternative is included in the evaluation process. This paper is demonstrated with a real case study of a credit rating agency involving 9 evaluation criteria and 9 credit bureau business information systems assessed by 6 evaluators, and provide the systematic disaster recovery framework for BCP(Business Continuity Planning) to practitioner. Finally, this paper show that the procedure of the proposed fuzzy TOPSIS method is well suited as a decision-making tool for the disaster recovery priority decision problem in credit bureau business information system.
This study was carried out to investigate the physicochemical characteristics, intake rate, and sensory properties of kimchi provided to elementary school foodservice in Seongnam. Average amount of kimchi intake at the elementary school foodservice for lower grade(1~3) students and higher grade(4~6) students was 7.15 g(23.83%) and 11.15 g(37.17%) respectively. The physicochemical properties of kimchi provided to the school foodservice in Seongnam were different between head cabbage kimchi(Pogi kimchi, H product) and head cabbage kimchi for children(C product). The head cabbage kimchi showed the pH 4.31~4.65(average pH 4.45), 6.86~8.38 $^{\circ}Brix$(average sugar content 7.74 $^{\circ}Brix$), and salinity 1.36~2.20%(average 1.73%) whereas the head cabbage kimchi for children indicated the pH 4.23~4.45(average pH 4.32), 7.68~8.48 $^{\circ}Brix$(average sugar content 8.18 $^{\circ}Brix$), and salinity 1.38~1.80%(average 1.65%). The result of the sensory evaluation of head cabbage kimchi and head cabbage kimchi for children indicated that there was significant difference by grades and gender. Higher graders tended to prefer less sweet, less sour and salty kimchi, and girls preferred sweet and sour kimchi more than boys. Therefore, it is required to develop kimchi for children considering sensory characteristics by grades and gender.
Because many of patients seeking orthodontic treatment worry about the facial appearance and their chief motivation for orthodontic treatment is facial esthetics, it is critical to understand the influence of gender or culture on the evaluation of profile esthetics. The purpose of this study was to find out any influence of gender or culture on judging good facial profile. 4 different groups were asked to evaluate 133 facial profiles to test the influence of gender or culture on judging good facial profiles. Those 4 groups consisted of 10 Korean males, 10 Korean females, 10 Korean American males, and 10 Korean American females. 2 evaluation systems were introduced, absolute and relative. Soft tissues of selected good profile group were analyzed and statistic analysis was performed. Conclusions were as follows 1. Inter-evaluator difference for judging good facial profile was statistically significant, even if there was general agreement for the best profile among 40 raters. 2. Gender difference under the same cultural environment was not significant statistically. 3. The same ethnic groups with different cultural background showed statistically different preference on judging good Profile. 4. Good facial profile group had their own characteristics compared to remaining group in several soft tissue measurements which were vertical facial ratio, soft tissue facial convexity, and antero-posterior relative lip position.

As cities become more industrial and modern, they become overcrowded and the construction zones increase accordingly. In particular, the demand for panel-type planting methods has gradually increased due to early planting and easy installation. However, studies on panel-type planting have strictly concentrated on the vegetation sub system or irrigation system without any interest in landscape-centered system. Factors of preference will be made through landscape evaluation on the panel-type facade planting. A questionnaire survey was conducted in a location where panel-type facade planting was available. In terms of responses to the facade planting, 'natural (3.80)' was the highest, followed by 'friendly (3.70),' 'comfortable (3.65),' 'beautiful (3.65),' and 'peaceful (3.50).' On the contrary, negative responses such as 'too quiet,' 'simple,' 'heavy,' 'gloomy,' 'dark,' and 'dirty' were also received. It is thought that these responses refer to the poor management of the area. The results of this study will be useful as basic data for the development and distribution of panel-type facade planting.
This study investigated the quality characteristics of white pan bread with Haenaru rice flour which is regional product of Dangjin. Haenaru rice flour was substituted 10%, 30% and 50% for each bread sample. The overall effects of Haenaru rice flour substitution on pan bread were examined by investigating fermentation rates, pH, volume, specific volume, TPA, crumbScan and colorimeter and using sensory evaluation. A control showed the highest fermentation rate by 60 min, but there was no differences among all samples except HNR50 after 60 min. The higher Haenaru rice flour content, the higher pH value of bread loaf and bread and the lower volume and specific volume of rice breads. According to TPA and crumbscan, high amounts of Haenaru rice flour substitution increased the hardness of bread and decreased fineness and elongation of bread cells. In sensory evaluation, though a control got the best texture, flavor and overall acceptance, HRF30 and HRF10 showed the best preference of appearance and taste respectively, But most of all, there were no significant differences among those samples. Consequently, the results indicate that a substitution of Haenaru rice flour for wheat flour by 30 percent will not show any decisive difference in consumer's acceptance.
The purpose of this study was to examine the quality of muffins with 0, 3, 6, 9, and 12% kale powder. The specific gravity of muffins prepared by adding kale powder was higher than the control group. The height of the muffins was not significantly different among all sample groups. The weight of muffins with 9% kale powder was higher than other samples. The volume and specific loaf volume of muffins decreased with the addition of kale powder. The baking loss rate of muffins decreased with the addition of kale powder. The moisture content of the samples with kale powder was higher than the control group, whereas pH was lower than the control group. DPPH radical scavenging activity of the control group was 25.70%, but the samples with kale powder ranged from 34.80 to 53.70%. In color, the L value decreased, but the b value increased significantly with the addition of kale powder. The hardness, springiness, cohesiveness, chewiness, and brittleness of the textural properties of the muffins significantly decrease by addiction of kale powder. Sensory evaluation scores in terms of after swallowing, appearance, flavor, taste, texture, and overall preference of groups with 3% and 6% kale powder did not show any significant differences, and the scores were higher than the control group. Based on these results, thus, using less than 6% kale powder would be proper to make muffins.
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of bitter melon (Momordica charantia L.) powder on the quality characteristics. The bulk density of cookie dough of the test groups containing bitter melon powder did not show any significant difference compared to the control group. The pH of cookie dough and cookies decreased with the addition of bitter melon powder. The moisture content of the groups containing bitter melon powder was higher than that of the control group. The spread ratio of the groups containing bitter melon powder was higher but the loss rate of cookies was lower than those of the control group. In color, the L value was decreased significantly by addition of bitter melon powder, but the a and b values did not show any significant differences compared to the control group. The hardness of the test groups containing bitter melon powder was lower than that of the control group. For DPPH radical scavenging activity, the control group measured 20.69%, whereas the test groups containing bitter melon powder ranged from 38.37~69.48%. Sensory evaluation scores in terms of appearance, flavor, taste, texture and overall preference of the group containing 3% of bitter melon powder did not show any significant differences compared to the control group.

In this study, the breads with medicinal herbs (MH) composites showing cognitive function were prepared and their characteristics were examined. Fifteen kinds of medicinal herbs were extracted with hot water and divided into 3 groups (MH-1, MH-2, MH-3) based on their contents. All groups showed cognitive function in terms of promoting muscarinic receptor, NMDA receptor and acetylcholinesterase inhibition. In the preparation of breads containing MH extracts of various contents (0, 10, 20, 30, and 50%), there were no significant difference among loaf weight of all groups, but loaf volume of all groups were significantly (p<0.05) decreased with increasing content of MH extracts compared to the control group. The "a" and "b" values of bread crumb increased with the content of MH extracts while "L" value decreased, but these values of bread crust were similar to the control group. The most improvements in hardness, fracturability, cohesiveness, gumminess and chewiness of bread were noticed by the addition of 10$\sim$20% MH extracts, while adhesiveness and springiness of bread were the most by the 30% addition ones. Through the sensory evaluation, it was revealed that appearance, mouth feeling, taste, overall preference and crumb texture of bread were not significantly different (p<0.05) between control and those with the 10% addition ones. Therefore the 10% addition ones, which got similar scores to control, will make the most desirable product.

The objective of this study was to determine the quality characteristics and antioxidant activities of Yaksik prepared with different amounts of turmeric powder. Turmeric powder was incorporated into Yaksik at different levels containing 1.7, 2.8, and 3.9% based on the total weight of ingredients. Moisture contents of Yaksik were 41.45~44.93% and increased with higher amount of turmeric powder. Ash and crude lipid contents did not show any significant differences between control and samples. The control group showed higher sweetness and lower pH than the other groups, and sweetness decreased and pH increased upon addition of turmeric powder. In the chromaticity determination, L value decreased while a and b values increased as turmeric powder increased. The total polyphenol and flavonoid contents proportionally increased with levels of turmeric powder. The antioxidant activities measured by DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities as well as reducing power were significantly higher than those of the control and proportionally increased as turmeric powder increased. In the sensory evaluation, control and Yaksik made with 1.7% addition of turmeric powder showed the highest preference in terms of color, taste, texture, and overall acceptance. These results suggest that turmeric powder may be a useful ingredient in Yaksik to improve quality and sensory properties.
'Hanareum' pear is expected to produce the high quality small and medium-sized fruits without any major changes in the current cultivation techniques, inasmuch as its basic characteristics are already included in the range of small and medium-sized fruits. Thus, we tested the possibility of utilization of 'Hanareum' pear for producing small and medium-sized fruits, while establishing the limit of minimum fruit weight for the fruits in high quality. With the results of correlation analysis, it was possible to predict the fruit weight through the observation of soluble solid contents and flesh firmness, because both factors were closely correlated to fruit weight in all treatments. Moreover, these factors were confirmed to be useful indicators of forecasting consumer preference in the sensory evaluation. The fruit marketability was excellent under the conditions that were greater than $11.6^{\circ}Bx$ and less than 25.6 N for soluble solid contents and flesh firmness, respectively. When applying these standards of fruit quality to the results of regression analysis for fruit weight, non-treated fruits fulfilled both standards when the fruit weight was higher than 436 g, and the quality uniformity was also high on this state. Therefore, the production of high quality small and medium-sized fruits was determined to be under this condition. The weight limit for GA treated fruits was 620 g, and both fruit quality and uniformity were below the weight range of small and medium-sized fruits, with 300~500 g. Thus, GA treatment was suggested to be avoided, in order to produce the high quality small and medium-sized fruits.
