재생형 송풍기의 공력음향학적 성능 해석 방법 (Aero-acoustic Performance Analysis Method of Regenerative Blower)

  • An aero-acoustic performance analysis method of regenerative blower is developed as one of the FANDAS codes. The aerodynamic performance of regenerative blower is predicted by using momentum exchange theory coupled with pressure loss and leakage flow models. Based on the performance prediction results, the noise level and spectrum of regenerative blower are predicted by discrete frequency and broadband noise models. The combination of the performance and the noise prediction methods gives aero-acoustic performance map and noise spectrum analysis results, which are well-agreed with the actual measurement results within a few percent relative error.

  • 본 논문에서는 위성통신을 이용한 방송 및 디지털 멀티미디어 서비스의 요구증대를 앞두고 20 GHz 이상의 높은 주파수 대역의 강우에 의한 전파 손실 예측 모델을 제안하고 강우량에 따른 감쇠 정도를 기존의 모델과 비교 분석 하였다. 본 논문에서는 Ka 대역에서 강우 감쇠 특성에서 이론치와 실험치가 접근함을 보이고 강우감쇠에 효과적인 기법을 제안하여 적응변조 시스템의 성능을 분석하였다. 제안 예측모델에서는 강우 강도를 기준으로 위성링크 설계를 위한 안테나 크기, 시스템의 불작동율 등에 대한 기본 자료를 Ka 대역 위성통신 시스템의 원활한 운영을 위해 제공한다.

Prediction and analysis of structural noise of a box girder using hybrid FE-SEA method

  • With the rapid development of rail transit, rail transit noise needs to be paid more and more attention. In order to accurately and effectively analyze the characteristics of low-frequency noise, a prediction model of vibration of box girder was established based on the hybrid FE-SEA method. When the train speed is 140 km/h, 200 km/h and 250 km/h, the vibration and noise of the box girder induced by the vertical wheel-rail interaction in the frequency range of 20-500 Hz are analyzed. Detailed analysis of the energy level, sound pressure contribution, modal analysis and vibration loss power of each slab at the operating speed of 140 km /h. The results show that: (1) When the train runs at a speed of 140km/h, the roof contributes more to the sound pressure at the far sound field point. Analyzing the frequency range from 20 to 500 Hz: The top plate plays a very important role in controlling sound pressure, contributing up to 70% of the sound pressure at peak frequencies. (2) When the train is traveling at various speeds, the maximum amplitude of structural vibration and noise generated by the viaduct occurs at 50 Hz. The vibration acceleration of the box beam at the far field point and near field point is mainly concentrated in the frequency range of 31.5-100 Hz, which is consistent with the dominant frequency band of wheel-rail force. Therefore, the main frequency of reducing the vibration and noise of the box beam is 31.5-100 Hz.   • In this paper, impedance of the chiller foundation for ships is studied by using FEM and prediction is compared to measurements. Small and medium weight hammer are used to cover high and low frequency ranges in impedance measurements. Comparison shows that measurement and prediction is in good agreement in which coherence is higher than 0.98 for the frequency ranges of 40-50 Hz to 1600 -2000 Hz.

  • Aerodynamic noise generated from wind turbines is predicted by it's classified source mechanisms using computational method. BPF noise according to the blade passing motion, is modelled on monopole and dipole sources. They are predicted by Farassat 1A equation. Airfoil self noise and turbulence ingestion noise are modelled upon quadrupole sources and are predicted by semi-empirical formulas composed on the groundwork of Brooks et al. and Lowson. Retarded time is considered, not only in low frequency noise prediction but also in turbulence ingestion noise and airfoil self noise prediction. Wind turbine noise emission of a 3MW wind turbine and a 600 kW wind turbine, standing for large and middle sized wind turbines, is analyzed.

  • This paper deals with the theoretical prediction and cyclic variation of combustion characteristics in a four stroke, single0cylinder, diesel engine. Theoretical calculations employed a simple empirical model of analysis of energy equation for the thermodynamic system of engine cylinder. The cyclic variation of combustion characteristics is investigated, in term of frequency distribution and standard deviation of peak characteristics, as obtained by combustion analyzer system. The results of theoretical prediction are shown to be in close agreement with the experimental data. The effect of fuel injection timing, engine speed, cooling water temperature, and the compression ratio on the cyclic variations of combustion characteristics were discussed.

  • This paper presents the analytical prediction of stability lobes in milling. The stability lobes are obtained by measuring the frequency response function (FRF) of a machining center at the cutting point of the end mill cutter, identifying cutting constants, and approximating cutting force coefficients. The stability lobes are experimentally verified through cutting tests.

  • Lowson의 음향상사식을 이용하여 시간영역에서 풍력터빈의 저주파수 소음을 예측 하였고, 관련 소음원들의 기여도를 분석하였다. 소음원으로서 날개-깃 상 평균 압력 분포를 구하기 위하여 XFOIL를 이용하였다. 이 때, 소음 예측 시 입력 값 인 유한 요소 상의 힘을 계산하기 위해 날개-깃을 여러 개의 요소로 분할하였다. 소음원을 힘 섭동항, 가속도항, 속도항으로 분리하여 주파수 기여도를 분석하였다. 끝으로, 예측 스펙트럼을 운용 중 인 풍력터빈에 대하여 측정한 저주파수 소음과 비교하였고, 그 결과 풍속 증가에 따라 힘 섭동 성분이 저주파수에서 크게 기여하는 것을 확인하였다.

In particular, by integrating the models such as Association Rule, Connection Frequency Matrix, and Rule Induction, this study suggests an integrative prediction model.
