Less researches on AGV(Automated Guided Vehicle) path configurations have been conducted so far while more studies have been placed in determining AGV guide path directions and pick-up/drop-off station locations, and routing/dispatching/scheduling strategies. In practice plenty of concerns fall in preventing deadlock and simplifying AGV system control through an appropriate AGV path configuration. In order to meet those requirements, a new AGV path configuration, inter-loop stocker type is introduced here. The stocker serves as relaying material between loops as well as stocking material. Automated material handling systems using AGVs play an important role in semiconductor industry including TFT LCD and memory/non-memory chip. A practical example of implementing the inter-loop stocker concept successfully in the TFT LCD fab is presented in this paper.

The study on the user-centered interior design of trains consists of the practice of sensitive technology for the management of customer's emotions and its harmonical use on design and it aims on the embodiment of new ergonomics design. In the center, it has analyzed the criteria and characteristics for the 'User First Design' and has concluded the design direction and components to a concrete idea and proposed prototypes, which may becomes a good example for train interior design later on. And not at least it proposes a direction which may become a guideline of ergonomic design to secure competition capacity.

Recently the international transfer pricing became the most popular topic in accounting of the research as well as of the practice. Modern corporations have been experiencing a lot of changes in managerial control technique as their scale and scope of activities grows and the environment in which they operate changes rapidly. If there are internal transactions in a decentralized firm, the necessity of coordination among the divisions is inevitable. Transfer pricing in a decentalized company provides an excellent example of the coordinating role of information. One of the most important reason for a form to have a decentalized structure is the improved decision making at the lower level due to better access to information. International transfer pricing is not merely a problem of pricing but coordination of transfers and other collective or individual actions to derive rents from intergration. Such coordination can be achived through the performance evaluation scheme which is partly based upon transfer price.

As 3D solid modeling has been widely used in designing products, solid models of the products are directly used in various applications such as engineering analysis and process planing. However, the fully-detailed solid models may not be necessary in some application. For example, it is often more efficient to use simplified model of part of engineering analysis. Generation of mesh for the complex original model requires a quite amount of time, and the consequence of finite element analysis may not be desirable due to small and detailed geometry in the model. In this paper, a method to simplify solid models of machined part is presented. This method decomposes the delta volume of machined part, and uses the decomposed volumes to simplify the solid model. Since this method directly recognizes the features to be removed from the final model, it is independent of not only design features of specific CAD system, but also designer's design practice of design sequences.

The purpose of this study was to explore the ideas about Korean-American mother's school-age child rearing that are represented on internet community. The method used for this study was content analysis and the data consisted of articles about Korean-American mother's school-age child rearing on a internet community bulletin board during 1 year in 2008. It was found that these articles dealt with problems of practice in interfacing between home and social institutions(Especially school), teaching, counseling, nurturing and disciplining. For example, 831 articles put great emphasis on interfacing between home and social institutions, 339 on teaching, 268 on counseling with children. From these results, we might conclude that many Korean-American mothers gave their children school related care.

In order to prevent the defects, the optimum design of the production part, strip process layout, die design, die making and try out etc. are necessary the analysis of effective factors. For example, theory and practice of metal shearing process and it's phenomena, die structure, machine tool working for die making, die materials and it's heat treatment, metal working in field, their know how etc. are included in those factors. In this study, we analyzed whole of data base, theoretical back ground of metal working process, and then performed the progressive die tryout with the screw press. Part2 of this study reveals with ultra precision progressive die design, its making and tryout.

The structure of a digital controller based on modern control theory is more complex than that of a PID controller. In implementing the digital control of an actual system by using the digital controller, we often encounter gaps between theory and practice e.g. quantization error, sampling error, modeling error, contaminated noise etc. In such cases, simulator plays an important role in detecting difficulties. This paper demonstrates the importance of the computer simulator for designing a digital controller. The controller and the simulator are constructed by different computer respectively, with a link between the blocks by analogue signals through the A/D, D/A converters. Through the simulator test, we can evaluate the digital controller; identify and solve difficulties in the digital control. The controller, which pasted the simulator test, is used identically in the actual system. This was a successful procedure for designing the controller. As an example, we successfully constructed the digital controller using the computer simulator for inverted pendulum control. We then compared the control results of simulator and actual equipment. Furthermore we commented on the construction of the computer simulator which exactly expressed the actual system.

This paper disscusses about the e-commerce and the various types of e-commerce disputes. Through empirical examination on the dispute consiliation system and by comparative analysis it is derived out of the weakness of current system and finally some suggestions for improvement. First, it is recommended that the more sophisticated knowledge concerning e-commerce should be proliferated through the existing institutions. For example, disputes for B2C could be managed by the consiliation system of consumer dispute consiliation in Consumer Protecion Board of Korea, while B2B by the arbitration system of the Korean Commercial Arbitraion Board. Second, the role of Korea Institute for Electronic Commerce established for the purpose of consiliation of e-commerce disputes is much emphasized. For successful achievement, it is necessarily required to reinforce the related laws, systems, institutions and human resources. Finally, it is also suggested that the the Korean Commercial Arbitraion Board and Consummer Protection Board of Korea fully cover consiliation and arbitration, while Korea Institute for Electronic Commerce activates its proper role of consulting and ad hoc arbitration by using electronic information. The paper points out the last one as the most desired practice.

This paper is concerned with designing $\bar{X}$-control charts when an estimate error may be Inevitable. Estimate error offen can not be avoided in estimating or measuring the parameter values of the cost model for the control charts. The bounded interval is a common practice to compensate for inherent estimating error. We introduce the 'propagation of error technique to deal with the economic design of the $\bar{X}$-control charts with imprecise information on the cost model parameters. A numerical example is presented to show· its ability in the economic design of $\bar{X}$-control charts.
