The relationship between marine environmental improvement and environmental perception of the inhabitants was investigated. For this purpose, the seawater and bottom materials were analysed. Apart from this, the questionnaire surveys were also conducted around the Sun-so coastal area. In order to examine the improvement in the marine environment, 12 monitoring sites, which are located around Sun-so coast and can be divided into two parts such as inland (GW1-GW6) and outland (GW7-GW12) sea, were chosen. All the collected samples were analyzed to find out the quality of seawater (temperature, pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen: DO, chemical oxygen demand: COD and suspend solid: SS), nutrients (total nitrogen: TN and phosphate: $PO_4-P$) and bottom materials (COD, volatile solids: VS) as per the standard analytical procedures. In addition, the questionnaire mainly focused on the following three factors: 1) social economy, 2) dependent environmental awareness and 3) independent environmental awareness related with the environmental education. The monitoring studies indicated that the marine environment of the Sun-so coast showed various trends for analyzing parameter. No significant temporal changes in temperature, pH and salinity were observed. However, the other parameters showed decreasing (COD, SS, TN, $PO_4-P$ and VS) and increasing (DO) trends according to the quality of seawater and bottom materials. The questionnaire survey clearly showed that most of the residents in Sun-so recognized the improvement of marine environment as compared with the situation experienced in the past. The dredging project which is closely related with economic and living conditions of the local residents led to alter the environmental perceptions and attitudes. The survey also indicated that the inhabitants perceived the necessity of the environmental education (87% of respondents) and preferred regular schooling (55% of respondents) as effective and practical education methods.
Creativity is a trait necessarily demanded in highly industrial and information oriented society. Accordingly, we should develop creativity through school education. The purpose of this study is to inquire a conceptual model and teaching method for developing creative problem solving skills in home economics education which can work at a platform for the curriculum developer. Although many definitions of creativity consider cognitive aspect more, personal or affective aspect is heavily involved with creativity. Therefore, creativity is a dynamic system which cooperates many contrasting and dialectic components in personal and cognitive aspects. The function of creativity is dependent on diverse environmental system. Environments influence on the extent of the development of creativity. Thus, the person-situation interaction model devised by Woodman and Schoenfeldt, integration of cognitive, affective, and situational aspects, is suggested as a conceptual model for teaching creativity in home economics education. The practical reasoning teaching model is suggested as a teaching method for developing creative problem solving skills in home economics education. The components of creative problem solving which involved with practical reasoning process are general knowledge and skills, specific knowledge and skills, divergent thinking skills, motivation and motives, and critical thinking skills.

While every nation in the world is emphasizing economic growth, we are confronting a side effect called environmental pollution. The main cause of environmental pollution is abuse of fossil fuels which emit carbon dioxide and are causing various problems including global worming. Green IT becomes popular as a method to reduce environmental pollution as well as a method to develop IT industry. The purpose of this paper is to develop education contents of green IT for elementary school students. For this purpose, extensive literature review works have been searched and analysed. In this paper, education contents of green IT are developed for three categories, knowledge, application, and ethics. In order to verify the validity of practical guidelines in application category, 55 elementary school teachers are randomly selected and their responses are gathered and analyzed through thorough statistical work. We expect that the proposed education contents will be guidelines for future green IT education.
This study started as an effort to solve the serious environmental program that the Korean government and internationally focused on. For the purpose of the study, a green based growth education program was composed that young children could participate in. With this program, the study participants could form attitudes, behavior, and knowledge of environmental preservation. To see the effectiveness of the green growth educational program, the study set up a control and an experimental group. The program was composed with four major content 'ecosystem', 'energy', 'resource', and 'green citizenship'. The study planned 20 sessions including fairy tales, storytelling, art, game, and science activities. The study's participants were a total of 42 five-year-old children. The result of the research showed that the experimental group's environmental preservation knowledge, attitude, and behavior score was significantly higher than the control group. The green growth educational program had a positive effect on young children's knowledge, attitude, and behavior of environmental preservation. This study included the realities of the difficulties applying green growth education in kindergarten, the result provided practical information regarding the green growth educational program to kindergarten teachers.
The purpose of this thesis is to suggest a Practical Plan for ethical consumption by reviewing the category of Vegan Fashion and investigating its Social Value of vegan fashion. This will be achieved through investigating the papers and official home pages of 13 selected Vegan Fashion brands. It was found that in terms of use of materials such as leather, fur and organic fibers the brands can be divided into three sections: fur-free, cruelty-free and perfect vegan. A Practical Plan is suggested based on the aspects of production, consumption, distribution and education. Firstly, the provider should be required to understand vegan materials deeply, it is also desirable for them to get vegan certifications. Secondly, the seller should also understand about vegan materials, and be able to explain this to consumers. The education from the seller is vital and the meaning of logos and associated contents used by the label should be clearly explained to consumers. Thirdly, the association of consumers, and fashion brands should cooperate to enhance the level of general understanding in society further, this should influence new laws, that address ethical issues regarding the use of fur in fashion. Environmental problem of the future might be reduced if the stakeholders in Vegan Fashion are cooperatively and actively trying to educate the general population and make Vegan Fashion popular and ethical consumption popular.

This study aimed at analyzing the clothing management units of technology and home economics textbooks in terms of their contents related to Education for Sustainable Development(ESD). The inquisitive tendency of the textbooks was also examined adopting the modified Romey's method, because it is known as an important factor in increasing student's class participation in sustainable clothing management and inducing practical behavior. First, the learning contents of clothing management unit were analyzed according to the social/political/cultural, environmental, and economic perspectives of ESD. As a result, ESD contents from social/political/cultural perspectives (safety, and health and food), environmental perspectives (natural resources, energy, and environmental problem), and the economic perspectives (sustainable production and consumption) were identified, with a heavy focus on environmental perspective. Secondly, Romey's inquisitive content analysis method was modified to analyze texts, pictures/charts, and learning activities of the clothing management unit. In all textbooks, facts and definitions were the dominant types of contents, which means less opportunities for development of inquiry ability. In conclusion, the ESD contents of the clothing management unit are inclined to the environmental perspective, and it is necessary that textbook development would need to be balanced between three perspectives. Also, future textbook authors will need to improve the inquisitive tendency of the textbooks to encourage student participation in class and induce practical application in real life.

This study examined the research trends of sustainable development education in the family life area, focusing on papers published in journals specialized in the Practical Arts (Technology & Home Economics) subject from 1989 to 2018. The papers from three journals were selected based on the titles, abstracts, and keywords for their contents related to sustainable development education. The results were analyzed by frequency analysis and cross-tabulation. Sustainable development education has surged since the mid-2000s when national interest on this topic sharply increased. Rather than focusing on particular content areas in home economics, most research was conducted through an integrated approach. More than half of the studies were conducted in experimental studies, with the largest number of studies involving elementary school students. Of the three components of ESD, research on society was most frequently conducted, followed by the environmental area. The contents of the home economics curriculum and the details of sustainable development were related. More related research should be conducted so that various sustainable development education can improve students' practical problem-solving ability through Practical Arts (Technology & Home Economics) curriculum.
This survey is made to offer the fundamental data for the establishment of practical environmental education plan based on understanding of the change of the environmental awareness of elementary school students under the longitudinal-sectional research design. In this research, the questionnaire made by Kim Jong-ki in 1988 and by Kim Hak-Bong in 1993, is amended and filled up, which is used to the 624 numbers of fifth and sixth grade students lived in Seoul, Pyungtaek and Yangjugu. This research ares are devided into 5 ares which are the environmental general, environmental pollution, living environment, environmental education and consciouness of environmental crisis to humen beings. First, it is grasped general tendency and then is compared and analyzed the level of awareness by residence, sex, grade. stsdard of living parental academic, the background variation of parental job with the status in 1988 and 1933. The results are as follows: 1) The rate of interest for environmental pollution and population is reduced but the rate of interest for animal protection is increased. 2) In spite of reinforcement of environmental education In school, the numbers of the students who became to know some information about that from the class are diminished. 3) Even if the children are aware of sewage seriousely, the numbers of the students who answer it is caused by domestic sewage are a few. 4) On the environmental education area, the various materials of the are not utilized well in a class. 5) On the environmental crisis to the human beings the rate is much increased in 1993 ttan that of 1988 environmental contamination is the important cause of the human beings' crises but now the rate is reduced again. In other variables except the environmental contamination, it is increased the that of 1993 on the war, on population it is showed a tendency of reduction. The results of this study are as follows : 1) It is supposed that the education should be done only not for the knowledge of environmental education but for the practice of that - animal breeding, field experience of the ecological destruction places. 2) The various environmental education materials such as TV, VTR are demanded to give the students proper information about that and to educate sufficently. 3) The course of fields exploration for environmental education should be prepared under cooperation of the authorities concerned. 4) It has to be groped for an epoch-making teaching method and the training and the practice of teachers in order to reform environmental pollution.

In spite of the importance of a fishing industry, neither any terminology defined in details nor academic systems to educate the workers in the fishery were established in the fisheries social education. The fisheries social education was considered to be the practical area around the actual fields. Therefore, on-site education was very important. Accordingly, this study collected and analyzed theoretical basis of a social education and data on the rural adult education and examined the actual status of the fishing industry in Korea and fisheries extension services enterprise and fisheries developmental enterprise corresponding to the actual fisheries social education conducted in Korea. On the basis of these frames, this study summarized the direction for the progress of fisheries social education that has not been studied until now for the purpose of suggesting the future directions of the fisheries social education as follows; The recognition on the importance of fisheries social education and fundamental researches in the fisheries social education should be extended. The practical development of fisheries social education should be realized. Fisheries extension services enterprise should be evolved by fishermen. The abilities of instructors in the fisheries social education should be improved. The academic factors in the fisheries social education should be emphasized. Inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary approaches should be adopted. Various programs should be developed for the progress of the fisheries social education. The exclusive department in charge of the fisheries social education should be established. The information system for the fisheries social education should be secured. The industry, academic organizations and the organs should make cooperation. The fisheries social education should be provided by general social education institutions for the progress. The fisheries development should be deployed on the basis of environmental preservation. It is necessary to deploy the new fishing village movement like the Saemaul movement to the fisheries. The administrative and financial supports for the fisheries social education should be expanded. It is essential to cultivate the future fishermen for the international competitiveness.
Background: As the medical knowledge base grows at an accelerating rate, evidence-based clinical performance becomes increasingly important for providing quality care. Previous studies have highlighted the need to promote job crafting to actualize evidence-based practical skills in the medical field. This study aimed to investigate the degree of evidence-based practice among dental hygienists and assess the impact of job crafting on the evidence-based practical skills of dental hygienists. Methods: Dental hygienists working at dental hospitals and clinics in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province were surveyed between February 28 and April 6, 2023. The sample was comprised of 267 participants. The hypotheses were tested independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analyses using SPSS 29.0. Results: The degree of job crafting by dental hygienists demonstrated significant differences based on educational attainment, workplace size, and workplace type. Evidence-based practical skills exhibited significant variations based on educational attainment and job position. All job crafting subfactors demonstrated positive correlations with evidence-based practical skills. The job crafting subfactors affecting the evidence-based practical skills of dental hygienists were 'increasing structural job resources' and 'increasing challenging job demands,' which together explained 38.7% of the variance in evidence-based practical skills. Conclusion: This study demonstrates that job crafting was positively and significantly correlated with evidence-based practical skills. To strengthen the job crafting ability of dental hygienists, improving environmental conditions and fostering an organizational culture that motivates continued participation in education is necessary. The development and promotion of programs that enable learning of the latest evidence should be actively pursued. Additionally, regular attendance at workshops and participation in organizational evidence-based practice education programs are necessary.
