  • Rapid development of information technology has generated a new industry and market. In particular, network technology such as the Internet and other computer networks made transaction activities switched from traditional offline commerce to e-commerce. Among them, digital content is bit-based object which is created and distributed through electronic environment. In particular, many entertainment contents such as the music, the movies, and the computer game softwares are main products. Although digital content commerce has high potential demand, it lacks the consideration about the factor related to maintaining existing customer such as customer loyalty and switching costs. There has been a number of research on customer loyalty and other factors affecting it in the traditional electronic commerce environment, but there is a lack of research which examines the characteristics of digital content. The study about the effect of switching costs on customer loyalty in digital content commerce is necessary because the customers of digital content commerce market are from those of other e-commerce market or traditional offline commerce market. In addition, customer loyalty and switching costs are important factors because they may build up greater customer retention. For that reason, this study focused on examining the relationships among switching costs, antecedents for switching costs, and customer loyalty in online digital music service industry. The study has three major purposes: (1) to find antecedents of switching costs on digital content commerce and examine effect of antecedents for switching costs; (2) to identify effect of switching costs on customer loyalty in digital content commerce and examine moderating effects of alternative attractiveness; (3) to identify the differences of antecedents for switching costs by contents transmission type(streaming service and downloading service). And, the online digital music service industry is selected in this study since there are many users and transactions incurring. To accomplish these purposes, a survey questionnaire was developed and distributed to 256 informants. Survey instrument was developed based on previous research and pre-established survey items. Total of 206 surveys are collected and used in the data analysis. Among the respondents, 56.8% is male and 43.2% is female. Also, 86 responses were streaming service user group and 120 responses were download service user group. These data was analyzed using regression analysis. Major findings of empirical analysis can be summarized as follows. First, switching costs have positive effect on customer loyalty in digital content commerce environment. Second, the influence of switching costs on customer loyalty increases under conditions of high alternative attractiveness. Third, DRM convenience and breadth of use have positive effect on switching costs. The findings imply that the digital content provider should pay more attention to switching costs in addition to customer satisfaction in order to attract customers. Also, increasing the convenience of DRM use by securing the convenience of user interface and expanding the support device and increasing the service use scope by providing diverse value-added service helps to create a switching barrier. The result of the study can become a practical use in marketing strategy for maintaining existing customer. In particular, switching barrier is very important under conditions of high competition in the online music service market. This study can be used as a basis for further studies about customer retention in digital content commerce.

  • Most of precedent studies related to hip hop culture and fashion, which have been conducted till now were progressed under only theoretical background of hiphop, not the changed status of hiphop currently. Practical studies explaining the status of hip hop in popular culture, especially, the area of popular fashion are insufficient. Therefore, this study was conducted by focusing on cultural characteristics and musical characteristics by the stream of period, for which concept hip hop is accepted to people currently and which effect it makes on the area of fashion. Especially, the study was progressed by dividing periodical background into before and after the 2000s because there was the most noticeable change for the genre of hip hop in that period. Because of the appearance of 'Alternative hip hop' which is a sub-genre of hip hop music, hip hop music was changed to be more popular. Also, hip hop fashion also showed big changes. Hip hop fashion before 2000s had showed poor conditions, resistance, complex and alienation of them by their fashion. On the other hand, hip hop fashion after 2000s also showed popular characteristics because of high-level environment and social status. This study intended to understand and grasp hip hop as a kind of cultural situation coexisted by many-sided characteristics as well as redefine the changed concept and contents of new hip hop currently.

  • At first, we explained concepts of Oseong(五聲) in "Akhakgwebeom(樂學軌範)" and then compared them with O-eum(五音) in "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)". In that progress we can have recognized the commonness and differences between two texts, and became familiar with ideas of sounds in minds of ancients. That ideas are concerned with true nature of human and cosmos. Based on that ideas, we could return to stasis of mutual understanding with each other, it means a condition of harmony. For that purpose we must understand detail meanings of O-eum(五音) and Oseong(五聲), and this analysis lead clinical music therapy to do an important thing as methodology of treating human body and minds. The ideas of O-eum(五音) in "Akhakgwebeom(樂學軌範)" are not exactly corresponded to vocalization of Hunminjeongeum(訓民正音) that is Korean characters, and Oseong(五聲) in "Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經)". But this dissonancy is a problem of methodology, on the contrary, there are many common concepts and possibilities of application to practical uses between them.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses of each grip, derive the resulting complex effects, and present practical application plans to the drummers. The research method is largely divided into traditional and matched grips, and in detail, German, American, French, and hybrid styles are included to analyze the performance method utilized. It also refers to the grip method of all drummers from the 1930s to the present, which was registered in Drummer World, an overseas drum site. This study proposed several application plans by classifying and analyzing the most basic grip methods in drum set in detail. I was able to see that the performance impact was different depending on the grip, and I think it will be more helpful for future performances if I understand both the positive and adverse functions of each grip and play it.

  • Music keeps significant influences on human mind. According to the analytical psychology, music affects the consciousness, and unconsciousness (both personal and collective). Structurally speaking, music affects the ego, shadow and self. Based on these findings, the author reviewed the life and work of Beethoven and Jung and investigated the following issues : 1) What were the developmental processes of them? 2) How did the educational processes affect their works? 3) What were the basic attitudes regarding interpersonal relationship and others? 4) What were the final psychological, social and spiritual achievements of them? Beethoven and Jung had psychologically and socially hard times during their developmental processes. However, they could achieve mature development in overcoming their difficulties. Both of them were effortful and serious book readers which could help them get wide range of perspectives on human existence and let them introspect deeply into their mind. They both could achieve the 'Concept of Gegensatzvereinigung'- that is the 'integration of two contrasting concepts into one wholeness'-. And this concept can be applied in the practical clinical settings for individuation. If psychiatrists could cease the discrimination between them and patients, they will be able to overcome subjective discrimination and prejudice against patients and accomplish objective truth. Finally they could integrate life and death into complexio oppositorum. In doing this, they have achieved eternal life.

In the existing studies using musical parameter, there were many cases with more practical purposes to classify, search, and recommend music for people. In this study, the focus was on enabling sound data to be used as a material for creating artworks and used for aesthetic expression. In order to study the music visualization as an art form, a method that can include human emotions should be designed, which is the characteristics of the arts itself. Therefore, a well-structured basic classification of musical attributes and a classification system on emotions were provided. Also, through the shape, color, and animation of the visual elements, the visualization of the musical elements was performed by reflecting the subdivided input parameters based on emotions. This study can be used as basic data for artists who explore a field of music visualization, and the analysis method and work results for matching emotion-based music components and visualizations will be the basis for automated visualization by artificial intelligence in the future.

The data collected showed 274 examples from 40 Stella McCartney collections, including Spring, Resort, Pre-Fall, and Fall Ready-to-wear collections between 2013 and 2022. All information was collected using www.vogue.com. As a result, the characteristics of Stella McCartney's knit design were classified into four directopms: 1) Perpetual Naturalism, 2) Cultural Complexity, 3) Practical Functionality, and 4) Subcultural Reproducibility. The first characteristic, 'Perpetual Naturalism' values the continuous symbiosis between animals and human beings, thereby protecting global environmental value. Stella McCartney's knit design continuously showed a longing for nature's beauty through fashion design, which allowed people to enjoy the meaning of symbiosis between human beings and animals. Second, 'Cultural Complexity' is the characteristic that appears in Stella McCartney's knit fashion design when collaborating with various artists and/or mixing traditional knit motives inspired by traditional cultures and retro moods. Third, 'Practical Functionality' is the design characterisitic that allows items to be worn for a long time as it is comfortable, simple, and practical. Stella McCartney's knit designs pursue easy-to-wear designs that are comfortable and have practical designs with simple details. Lastly, 'Subcultural Reproducibility' showed in Stella McCartney's knit designs reflect Hippie culture, which pursued a rejection of conventional values, and promoted sustainable energy. This culture peaked in the 1960s and 1970s, when 'Beatles' were mainly working. Additionally, retro styled knit designs inspired by other various music genres from the 1980s and 1990s appeared in this category as well.
