There is concern about the increased risk of accidents from manual investments due to ground handling service operators, aging equipment and manpower shortages. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the quality of ground treatment services and safety management at the airport. Therefore, this study analyzed the domestic and overseas ground operation status and the license handling procedure of aircraft handling business. In addition, a case study on the evaluation system of international organizations examined the applicability of the certification body to the Korean situation. It is practical in that it provides policy implications for improving the quality of groundwork not covered in previous studies. This is expected to improve the constitution, improve quality, improve airport operations, and operate safely.

The study proved the fitness between competitive strategy and service operation strategy of service companies. The competitive strategy of a corporation is a major strategy playing the role of bridge linking both corporate strategy and functional strategy. And it is a choice of method how to win competitors in given area. There have been such a specific methodologies for acquiring competitive advantage as Porters competitive strategy, Miles and Snows adaptive strategy, and Life cycle strategy. But, many scholars have pointed that its more important for high corporate performance to determine the competitive strategy of a corporation fitting the external environment and internal structure. So its needed for successful cost-leadership or differentiation strategy to differentiate organizational function, resources, and various organizational factors. But there have been no methodologies or practical guidelines fitting competitive strategy, corporate structure, and external environment in sprite do service corporations growth. So, the study proved the fitness between competitive strategy and service operation structure in Airlines after selecting service structural elements necessary for strategic management.

Among many dimensional or dimensionless amplitude parameters, kurtosis and ID Factor are said to be sensitive good parameters for machine diagnosis. In this paper, a simplified calculation method for both parameters is introduced when impact vibration arise in the observed data. Compared with the past papers' results, this new method shows a good result which fit well. This calculation method is simple enough to be executed even on a pocketsize calculator and is very practical at the factory of maintenance field. This can be installed in microcomputer chips and utilized as a tool for early stage detection of the failure.

After much research on qualitative reasoning, the problem of ambiguities still hampers the practicality of this important AI tool. In this paper, the sources of ambiguities are examined in depth with a systems engineering point of view and possible directions to disambiguation are suggested. This includes some modeling strategies and an architecture of temporal inference for building unambiguous qualitative models of practical complexity. It is argued that knowledge of multiple levels in abstraction hierarchy must be reflected in the modeling to resolve ambiguities by introducing the designer's decisions. The inference engine must be able to integrate two different types of temporal knowledge representation to determine the partial ordering of future events. As an independent quantity management system that supports the suggested modeling approach, LIQUIDS(Linear Quantity-Information Deriving System) is described. The inference scheme can be conjoined with ordinary rule-based reasoning systems and hence generalized into many different domains.

In this paper, an interactive planning and scheduling framework are proposed for optimising operations from pits to crushers in ore mining industry. Series of theoretical and practical operations research techniques are investigated to improve the overall efficiency of mining systems due to the facts that mining managers need to tackle optimisation problems within different horizons and with different levels of detail. Under this framework, mine design planning, mine production sequencing and mine transportation scheduling models are integrated and interacted within a whole optimisation system. The proposed integrated framework could be used by mining industry for reducing equipment costs, improving the production efficiency and maximising the net present value.

Deployment of green transportation in reverse logistics is a key issue for low carbon technologies. To cope with such logistic innovation, this paper proposes a hybrid approach to solve practical vehicle routing problem (VRP) of pickup type that is common when considering the reverse logistics. Noticing that transportation cost depends not only on distance traveled but also on weight loaded, we propose a hierarchical procedure that can design an economically efficient reverse logistics network even when the scale of the problem becomes very large. Since environmental concerns are of growing importance in the reverse logistics field, we need to reveal some prospects that can reduce $CO_2$ emissions from the economically optimized VRP in the same framework. In order to cope with manifold circumstances, the above idea has been deployed by extending the Weber model to the generalized Weber model and to the case with an intermediate destination. Numerical experiments are carried out to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach and to explore the prospects for future green reverse logistics.

Understanding and adapting to changes of customer behavior is an important aspect for a company to survive in continuously changing environment. The aim of this paper is to develop a methodology which detects changes of customer behavior automatically from customer profiles and sales data at different time snapshots. For this purpose, we first define three types of changes as emerging pattern, unexpected change and the added / perished rule. Then we develop similarity and difference measures for rule matching to detect all types of change. Finally, the degree of change is evaluated to detect significantly changed rules. Our proposed methodology can evaluate degree of changes as well as detect all kinds of change automatically from different time snapshot data. A case study for evaluation and practical business implications for this methodology are also provided.

Although the research on electronic commerce is plentiful, there is little empirical research related to Web-Based Shopping Systems (WBSS). This is especially so in global electronic commerce circumstances. WBSS are the fastest growing segment of digital economies and are perceived as driving forces of electronic commerce in terms of global markets and digital business. Using WBSS, organizations have a new chance of their business evolving successfully as global marketers. This paper develops a unified model to assess the diffusion of WBSS. Factors that impact WBSS diffusion are identified and analyzed as the basis for empirical testing. A set of propositions is developed that allows operationalization of the model. The ultimate goal is to provide the new research insights for the academic circles and the practical guidelines for organizations wishing to undertake WBSS.

In this paper, problems and solutions are proposed for applying IEC 61850 to Distribution Automation System(DAS). Communication protocol integration in power automation system have issued by IEC standards, IEC 61850 of them has researched for applying IEC 61850 to many areas of power system in spite of that it was made for substation automation system. Especially, DAS is just about to apply IEC 61850 by communication network change from serial to ethernet although DNP 3.0 is used. But it's impossible to apply directly IEC 61850 to DAS by difference of environment which unfixed wide area and separated nodes in power distribution system unlike concept of IEC 61850 is made by Substation Automation System(SAS) environment of limited space. Thus, this paper proposed applications of three types which conceptual, practical, and future to consider problems and solutions when apply IEC 61850 to Ethernet based DAS.
