이륙 중량 25 kg급 멀티콥터용 프로펠러 시험 평가 (Test and Evaluation of the Propeller Developed for a Multi-copter with the Take-off Weight of 25 kg)

  • 이륙 중량 25 kg급 멀티콥터용으로 개발된 프로펠러에 대해 정적 구조 시험 및 성능 시험을 통해 설계 요구도 충족 여부를 판별하기 위한 시험 평가를 수행하였다. 정적 구조 시험에서는 극한 하중 및 요구도 하중 부가 후 시편 파손이 발생하지 않음으로써 프로펠러 구조 강도에 대한 안전 여유 3 이상을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 성능 시험에서는 설계 요구도의 제자리 비행 추력 및 최대 추력을 발생시키고, 운용 추력 영역에서 제자리 비행 성능 효율은 0.73 이상을 나타내었다. 기준 프로펠러와 비교할 때, 성능 효율 최대값은 3% 이상 증가되고, 소비 전력은 운용 영역에서 4% 이상 저감되는 것으로 나타났다. 구조 강도 요구도 및 성능 요구도를 충족시킴으로써 프로펠러는 성공적으로 개발된 것으로 평가되었다.

  • In the power-system, the active and reactive power levels of load bus randomly vary over days, months, and years which are stochastic in nature. This paper presents an algorithm for optimal Var planning considering the uncertainties of loads. The optimization problem is solved by a stochastic linear programming technique which can handle stochastic constraints to evaluate optimal Var requirement at load bus to maintain the voltage profile which results in probabilistic density function by stochastic Load Flow analysis within admissible range. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm has been verified by the test on the IEEE-30 bus system.

  • It is required that the indoor-noise level of KHST (Korean high speed train) should be lower than 66 ㏈(A) at 350 km/h. In this study, the indoor-noise level of KHST has been predicted to determine the maximum allowable sound power levels of major noise sources. It is found that the indoor-noise requirement for KHST can be met by increasing the transmission losses of the floor and side-wall structures as well as by lowering the sound power levels of two major noise sources including the motor fans.

  • This paper proposes a comparison of Voltage Oriented Control (VOC) and Direct Power Control (DPC) under command mode transition for PMSG Wind Turbines (WT). Based on a neutral point clamped three level back to back type Voltage Source Converter (VSC), proposed control scheme automatically control the generated output power to satisfy a grid requirement from the hierarchical wind farm controller. Automatic command mode transition based on the dc-link voltage error provides a command mode changing between grid command and MPPT mode. It is confirmed through PLECS simulations in Matlab. Simulation result shows that proposed control scheme of VOC and DPC achieves a much shorter transient time of generated output power than the conventional control scheme of MPPT with optimal torque control and VOC under a step response. The proposed control scheme makes it possible to provide a good dynamic performance for PMSG wind turbines in order to generate a high quality output power.

Variable Structure PWM Controller for Highly Efficient PV Inverters

  • In general, the output voltage level of a PV array varies widely at various irradiances and temperatures. The MPP (Maximum Power Point) range of a medium- or high-power PV PCS is normally 450~830Vdc or 300~600Vdc. This means the PV PCS should operate in a wide range of modulation indexes. The PV PCS should satisfy the harmonic current requirement that the TDD (Total demand distortion) shall not exceed 5%. This paper proposes a new PWM control method for a medium- or high-power PV PCS which increases the efficiency of power conversion in all operation ranges with acceptable harmonic ripple currents. This paper compares and analyzes appropriate PWM schemes for the PV PCS in the view points of conversion efficiency and current harmonics.

  • Renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power are free and can be easily harvested everywhere. However, one of the biggest problems when using this kind of energy source is how to increase the efficiency of power conversion system. This paper introduces a modified 3-phase inverter in order to increase the power conversion efficiency. By adding 3 bi-directional switches at output of the inverter, the current flow back DC source during zero state is prevented to minimize leakage current, so that the efficiency of whole system is increased. The proposed topology also improves the power quality to satisfy the total harmonics distortion (THD) requirement. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed topology, simulation results are carried out using Simulink in MATLAB.

  • In this paper, a real-time communication method using a PICNET-NP(Plant Instrumentation and Control Network for Nuclear Power Plant) is proposed with an analysis of the control network requirements of DCS (Distributed Control System) in nuclear power plants. The method satisfies deadline in case of worst data traffics by considering aperiodic and periodic real-time data and others. In addition, the method was used to analyze the data characteristics of the DCS in existing nuclear power plant. The result shows that use of this method meets the response time requirement(100ms).
