Alumina particles wrapped in few-layer graphene sheets were prepared by calcining aluminum nitride powders under a mixed gas flow of carbon monoxide and argon. The graphene sheets were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, electron energy loss spectroscopy, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. The few-layer graphene sheets, which wrapped around the alumina particles, did not exhibit any diffraction peaks in the XRD patterns but did show three characteristic bands (D, G, and 2D bands) in the Raman spectra. The dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) with the alumina particles wrapped in few-layer graphene sheets exhibited significantly improved overall energy-conversion efficiency, compared to conventional DSSC, due to longer electron lifetime.

In this study, to increase fluidity and resistance of segregation of materials, the effect of each of the materials, which have effects on high performance concrete from investigating the properties of strength and drying shrinkage of high performance concrete made by the basic mix proportion used fly-ash and ground granulated blast-furnace slag after hardening, has been checked. According to the experimental results, fluidity on W/C = 34% was satisfied within slump-flow 65$\pm$ 5cm and U-type self-compactability difference 5cm. On the properties of strength, high performance concrete produced compressive strength over 400kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ in 28days when powder was replaced by 40% of fly-ash and 60% of ground granulated blast-furnace slag. And compressive strength was taken over 600kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ equal to non-replacement in 91days. Also, the length change of concrete with the addition of fly-ash was smaller than that without it. Therefore, it may be effective on the decrease of drying shrinkage volume.

statement of problem The viscoelastic property is the most important and peculiar characteristics of soft liners. But the authorized standard is not certainly established than other dental materials. purpose of study This study is aimed to compare the initial flow of gelation of the modified soft liner with 4-META with that of PMMA soft liners using dynamic method and evaluate the clinical acceptance of the trial materials. materials and method This study consists of 3 groups with the given % of 4-META powder in the Coe soft liquid; 0%, 5%, 10% Each group was tested for 10 times to record the change of G′values during 3 hours. the gelation time was recorded by the oscillating rheometer with parallel plate with 1 rad/sec. results As the results of this study, the gelation time of modified soft liner was elongated by 5 to 6 minutes. conclusion The mean gelation time of modified soft liner could be within the range of clinically acceptable.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of AFm formation on the stiffening process of cement paste. High and low alkali sulfate clinkers were used for the experiments. The flow and stiffening behavior of cement paste was investigated using modified ASTM C403 penetration resistance test and oscillatory shear rheology. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) was used for phase identification associated with stiffening of the paste. It was found from the results that low alkali clinker mixture produced very strong premature stiffening whereas high alkali clinker mixture did not cause premature stiffening. This is because of the large amount of alkali sulfate present in the clinker. Addition of calcium and sodium chloride to the high alkali clinker mixture caused faster stiffening and set.
Bipolar Plates for PEMFC have been a key component of fuel cells with MEA, thus in this research they have been fabricated by a compression molding technique after mixing graphite powder with phenol resin. The results have shown the prominent properties compared with those by foreign advanced company with respect to the electrical conductivity and flexural strength. In addition, it has been carried out that the Voltage-Current characteristics comparison according to the unit cell experiments of bipolar plates. As a result, we have obtained good performances and we are going to research the molding feasibility of bipolar plate's flow channel.

Abrasive jet machining (AJM) has a large number of parameters such as powder flow rate, air pressure, diameter of abrasive, stand off distance, material hardness and fracture toughness, etc. It is not easy matter to control those parameter. To achieve high accurate machining, in this study, Taguchi method was used to select process parameters. The objective of the optimization was to get higher material removal rate (MRR). From the experiments and analysis, some process parameters were found to make efficient machining.

Nowadays, like any other areas we have asked that the concrete would get more and more properties to increase there performance. So, in this research we are intended to develop the Photocatalytic Concrete which is one of the High Performance Concrete with waste gas reduction and self-cleaning. The fundamental phenomena of the Photocatalytic Concrete were observed by the residue water-weight, SEM, flow and surface hardness(Pencil tester). As a result of this study, the Photocatalytic Concrete used Photocatalytic powder, OPC admixture and other materials can obtain its properties, also photocatalytic efficiency. Last of all, we are convinced of the Photocatalytic Concrete possibility and make an effort to develop its properties added a various study.

Waste concrete powder(WCP) has been estimated with a great value-added material as by-product of waste concrete manufactured to fine and coarse aggregate for concrete, because it is able to utilized for cement clinker and concrete admixture. In the experimental results for this study, chemical composition of WCP was similar to that of cement, and specific gravity of WCPs were 2.46 and 2.48 due to internal micro-void of WCP. Final setting of paste with WCP was delayed, and flow value of mortar with WCP was tendency to reduced in comparison with that of paste and mortar with only ordinary portland cement as replacement ratio of WCP increased. Furthermore, sorptivity of mortar with WCP was increased as replacement ratio of WCP increased. Compressive strength of mortar with $15\%$ WCP was developed about 27MPa at 28days.
