  • This paper describes the analysis resulates on the P.T ferroresonance at 154kV GIS(Gas Insulated Substation) by EMTP(Electromagnetic transient program). We had simulated the PT ferroresonance between a potential transformer(PT) and open circuit braker's grading capacitance. The ferroresonance leads to very large power frequency overvoltage on PT bus and subsequent insulation failure. The damping circuit connected on the secondary winding were considered in the model. The actual countermeasure include a saturable inductor and a resistor series mounted, but the 2 ohms of damping resistance was used in the computational model.

  • This paper describes the analysis results on the PT ferroresonance at 154 kV GIS (gas Insulated substation by EMTP(Electro- magnetic Transient Program). We had simulated the PT ferroresonance between a potential transformer(PT) and an open circuit breaker's grading capacitance. The ferroresonance leads to very large power frequency overvoltages on PT bus and subsequent insulation failure. The large power can be supplied to the PT by the high voltage on the opened circuit due to the grading capacitance and equivalent capacitance of the buses during the ferroresonance. The damping circuit connected on the secondary winding were considered in the model. • In this paper, a series of electromagnetic analyses carried out for a high efficiency 22.9/0.38kV mold transformer are presented. The simulations were performed in order to calculate the losses which eventually verify the performance(efficiency) of the designed product. Here, losses include core loss, stray losses of non-current carrying metallic structural parts(core plate and clamp), ohmic loss and eddy current loss of current carrying metallic parts(busbars, leads, terminals and windings). The obtained results of the simulations were compared to the test results and showed high level of accuracy. The loss evaluation technology will allow designers avoid any potential over-design or under-design of the high efficiency products, reducing the manufacture cost and development period compared to the conventional experience-based design procedures.

  • Many power plants in the thermal and hydraulic utilities, the pulp and the paper industry are faced with high maintenance and down time due to the aged excitation system. For the life extension of the aged power plants, the static excitation system with SCPT type had been developed by KEPRI(Korea Electric Power Research Institute) This paper will discuss the design conception and the application results of system which includes the phase controlled rectifiers of the shunt type, SCPT and redundant analog controller.

  • Hysteretic behavior model of soft magnetic material usually used in electrical machines and electronic devices is necessary for numerical solution of Maxwell equation. In this study, a new dynamic hysteresis model is presented, based on the nonlinear dynamic system identification from measured data capabilities of fuzzy clustering algorithm. The developed model is based on a Gustafson-Kessel (GK) fuzzy approach used on a normalized gathered data from measured dynamic cycles on a C core transformer made of 0.33mm laminations of cold rolled SiFe. The number of fuzzy rules is optimized by some cluster validity measures like 'partition coefficient' and 'classification entropy'. The clustering results from the GK approach show that it is not only very accurate but also provides its effectiveness and potential for dynamic magnetic hysteresis modeling.

  • There are several ways to bond to building grounding systems for reducing GPR(ground potential rise) and EMI resulting from power system faults or lightning stroke to building. In order to verify effective bonding practice, the GPR and voltage of equipment due to the direct stroke to building are calculated with ATP-EMTP model for transformer, transmission line and MOV(Metal oxide varistor). The simulated model shows a satisfactory accuracy compared with experimental result for the $8/20{\mu}s$ simulated current pulse. It is observed that separate grounding can cause dangerous voltage to the building equipment and the performance of surge protective device can improve when it is installed to the protected equipment in distance as short as possible.

  • Recently, the epoxy molded type PT for indoor and applied 25.8kV was often distroyed by degradation of insulation that effected many electric stress and defect of manufactured goods. therefore In this work, We can present a method of solution in the process of produce the PT through analysis of experiments. In order to reduce the PD (Partial Discharge) which was occurred at the insulation material of epoxy resin, we has many tried to remove faults In the process of the products,

  • Large language models (LLMs) have revolutionized the global landscape of technology beyond natural language processing. Owing to their extensive pre-training on vast datasets, contemporary LLMs can handle tasks ranging from general functionalities to domain-specific areas, such as radiology, without additional fine-tuning. General-purpose chatbots based on LLMs can optimize the efficiency of radiologists in terms of their professional work and research endeavors. Importantly, these LLMs are on a trajectory of rapid evolution, wherein challenges such as "hallucination," high training cost, and efficiency issues are addressed, along with the inclusion of multimodal inputs. In this review, we aim to offer conceptual knowledge and actionable guidance to radiologists interested in utilizing LLMs through a succinct overview of the topic and a summary of radiology-specific aspects, from the beginning to potential future directions.

  • We propose a method to automatically predict Alzheimer's disease from speech data using the ChatGPT large language model. Alzheimer's disease patients often exhibit distinctive characteristics when describing images, such as difficulties in recalling words, grammar errors, repetitive language, and incoherent narratives. For prediction, we initially employ a speech recognition system to transcribe participants' speech into text. We then gather opinions by inputting the transcribed text into ChatGPT as well as a prompt designed to solicit fluency evaluations. Subsequently, we extract embeddings from the speech, text, and opinions by the pretrained models. Finally, we use a classifier consisting of transformer blocks and linear layers to identify participants with this type of dementia. Experiments are conducted using the extensively used ADReSSo dataset. The results yield a maximum accuracy of 87.3% when speech, text, and opinions are used in conjunction. This finding suggests the potential of leveraging evaluation feedback from language models to address challenges in Alzheimer's disease recognition.
