Web documents specified with HTML and CSS is displayed with high quality on the web browser. However, basically, any printed pages don't have the same quality of softcopy. The reason is HTML and CSS is not suit for printing. The XSL-FO(XSL-Formatting Object) is Formatting Language for imaging of web document and The PostScript is one of the most famous PDL(Page Description Language). To get high-quality pages, we propose the design of converter which translate XML-FO into PostScript format. Using the designed converter, we can get hardcopies with high quality.

At present, the electronic document is being processed in WYSWYG mode. For this, a document is structured by the logical structure and the physical structure, and is presented by the markup language. After XML is announced, an application scope of the electronic document is extended from interchanging to searching. However, in point of output quality, a XML document image on a browser has lower quality than a general document image on desktop publishing. The reason is which output function of a browser has not capability for high quality printing. The W3C developed XSL-FO(XSL-formatting Object) for style sheet formatting and PDL(Page Description Language) as like Postscript is already developed and used widely. In this paper, we designed the Postscript-Converter to get a high quality document image by converting XSL-FO into Postscript format.

This paper proposes an implementation of ODIF(Open Document Interchange Format)decoder and PostScript converter. AS ODIF data stream based on IS 8613 is described according to ASN.1 notation it is necessary to decode ODIF data stream to the proper internal structure to PostScript format as proposed in order to make hard copies in good quality using LBP(Laser Beam Printer). Among several kinds of DA(Document Architecture) and DAP(Document Application Profile). PDA(Processable DA) and Core 26(Level 2 DAP) are selected for our study. An ODIF data stream submitted by ICL is used to show the conformance in the level of data stream.

Since the national standard topographic map is made by DXF format which is the results of the National Geographic Information System project and lots of CAD data and scanners can be used to acquire the data easily, the imports of existing DXF file will decrease the costs and time for data acquisition process. In addition, the spatial data such as topographic map should be able to convert to the middle file format such as PostScript in order to be exported into other systems. For this purpose, I design and implement three units of modules, which are File Manipulation Module, MVF Import Module, and MVF Export Module. Finally, I verify the actual transformation of topographic map that are DXF file format by conducting the series of tests.

In this paper, we propose a method for the postprocessing of cursive script recognition in Wine Label Images. The proposed method mainly consists of three steps: combination matrix generation, character combination filtering, string matching. Firstly, the combination matrix generation step detects all possible combinations from a recognition result for each of the pieces. Secondly, the unnecessary information in the combination matrix is removed by comparing with bigram of word in the lexicon. Finally, string matching step decides the identity of result as a best matched word in the lexicon based on the levenshtein distance. An experimental result shows that the recognition accuracy is 85.8%.

The purpose of this study was to examine developmental trends in script-based organization strategy and relative influences of age, use of organizational strategy and category typicality of lists on children's recall. The subjects were 120 infant children, -40 four years old, 40 five years old, 40 six years old. All subjects were received 1 of 2 slot-filler lists of items differing in category representativness. Data were analysed by two-way Anova, Duncan's post-hoc test and Multiple Regression analysis. The major findings were as follows. 1. Recall and use of organizational strategy were increased with age. 2. At each age level, children showed high level of recall and organization strategy for category typical than category atypical. 3. Children's age, use of organizational strategy and category typicality of list significantly predicted children's recall. 42% of the variance of children's recall was explained by three variables. The relative influence of age to the prediction of children's recall was the strongest.

This study investigated the improvement level of communication ability by mediation method using Cheap Talk in four severe Broca's aphasia patients, who have more difficulties in expression than comprehension. In the preliminary and post test, making nutritious rice dish and vegetable pancakes were performed. In the mediation stage, the activities of going to markets, making kimchi and bean paste soup were performed and script activities were performed in the first week and activities using picture cards were executed in the next week by turns. The results of this study were as follows. First, the communication functions of all subjects were improved under all of the courses using Cheap Talk. Second, the method of mediation by using picture cards showed higher communication functions than the method of mediation by using script activity with the use of Cheap Talk.

서체 보호를 이유로 출시가 미뤄지던 CID(Character Identify keyword font) 및 CID PS(PostScript) 폰트가 최근 두산동아 인쇄BU에 납품된 것으로 확인됐다. 이번에 납품된 CID 폰트는 윤디자인연구소 284종, 산돌글자은행 205종, 세일포트마 148종, 한글컴퓨그래피 139종 등 4개회사 제품 776종으로 한양정보통신과 아시아폰트를 제외한 상업용 인쇄에서 사용빈도수가 높은 상당수의 폰트가 포함되어 있다. 총 776종의 CID 및 CID PS 서체가 납품됨에 따라 국내에서도 서체 문제로 어려움을 겪던 PDF를 이용한 워크플로우 등 각종 작업의 실용화가 가능하게 됐다.

ArcView and water network models have been integrated to develop the water network modeling system based upon GIS. To develop this system, pre, main, and post processing systems are required. GIS programming technique was adopted by using the ArcView's script language Avenue. The input data of models have been prepared by using the AutoCAD Map3D through the conversion of modeling input data to GIS data for A city. The modeling has been implemented by using EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks. To develop the post processing system, the modeling results of the water network models have been analyzed by using GIS. During the application process of the developed system to B city with 300,000 population, main problems were found in the constructed GIS DB of that city. Thus, pilot study area of B city has been constructed, and pre-, main, and post-processing techniques were invented based upon GIS. Finally, the problems related to waterworks GIS projects in Korea were discussed and solutions were suggested.

After fringe data 1ransformed mto a Post Scnpt file. magnified master CGH was printed by a laser printer, and then it reduced to the photographIc film. Parabolic mirror was tested by Twyman-Green interferometer with CGH at VIewing arm. Its experimental result was compared with those of surface profile and auto-collimatIon test, and then the errors were analyzed.
