PURPOSE: The current case study focuses on identifying the effects of the independent application of TECAR therapy and physiotherapeutic intervention using TECAR therapy on pain self-awareness and hip joint function in patients with hip impingement syndrome caused by nonstructural changes. Subjects: The research subject was a 34-year-old woman struggling with acute pain in her left hip, difficulty in actively moving the hip, and a problem in its overall function. METHODS: The subject's pain awareness and hip joint function were measured using a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and passive range of motion (PROM), respectively. The experimental intervention was carried out in 24 sessions of 16 minutes each, three times a week, for eight weeks. RESULTS: The VAS score decreased to 0 cm on the post-test from 4.3 cm, 6.5 cm, and 7.2 cm in the pre-test at the rest, standing, and gait positions, respectively. The index of PROM measured hip joint flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, internal rotation, external rotation, and passive straight leg raise. The values increased to 122.5°, 24.5°, 78°, 33°, 65°, 42°, and 96.5° in the post-test compared to 88.5°, 15°, 39°, 21.5°, 23°, 22°, and 46.5° in the pre-test, respectively. CONCLUSION: TECAR therapy and physiotherapeutic intervention using TECAR can help reduce pain and enhance the hip joint function in patients with hip impingement syndrome.
In this study, the application of flipped learning methodology to thermodynamics in mechanical engineering was examined, and how university students view flipped learning and the effects of flipped learning were analyzed. To analyze the effects of flipped learning, pre-class survey, assessment on learning in pre-class, team activities during class, and post-class survey were conducted. The analysis was also conducted on 33 students who took the thermodynamics course in mechanical engineering, and the PARTNER flipped learning model was applied to the class. The results of this study are as follows; In the preliminary survey, the students expected that the flip-learning class with team activities and teaching between team members would be helpful in improving their learning. In addition, students recognized that cooperative learning through a team was helpful for learning. The case reflecting the result of pre-learning evaluation to the subject grades showed higher pre-learning evaluation results than the case not reflecting the result of the pre-learning evaluation to the subject grades, and it was found that the pre-learning evaluation was acting as a factor to promote learning in pre-class. In post-class survey, the satisfaction with the flipped learning class was high, indicating that the effectiveness of the flipped learning class applied to the thermodynamics class was excellent.
To make a critical revision on the inherited social problems throughout the time in Mexico, not always turns out to be easy task, especially when the subject is lent to approach it from diverse perspective, one of them, the educative one. To analyze the low quality of the educative supply is complex subject. One of the maximum profits of institutional revolutionary Mexico was the creation of the Public Education Ministry in 1921. In the post-revolutionary and modern period, the seventies were characterized to be applied to the growth the infrastructure and the fortification of the educative system following the policy of "modernization and development". From the eighties, to lift the quality of the education was considered like one of the specific rules in the strategy of the call "educative revolution". In the nineties, through political programs and agreements, structural changes within the educative system were carried out with the intention to lift the quality of the services. In synthesis, the perspective in the educative policy of Mexico during the last thirty years of century xx, or post-revolutionary period, can be understood, from at least five specific conditions: educative profits in cover, modifications in the educational programs and contents, profits in the political agreements between the agents who take part within the educative system, changes and modifications to the laws applicable to the education, and; the search of the fairness through the compensatory programs. This paper tries to give answer to questions such as: The educative system reflects the ideals of the revolution? The present educative system is the product of a truncated revolution or the fruit of an untimely democracy?
In this study, the SCAMPER method which is a creative thinking method is applied in the food and beverage class of a specialized high school NCS study module to enhance creative thinking and investigate the influence on learning motivation of students. For verification, 10 sessions of 50 minutes classes were performed on 1, 2 grade students in H high school located in Gyeonggi-do Yangju City from August to November 2015 subject to 54 subjects in the experiment group and 54 subject in the control group. To look into the influence of the NCS food and beverage practice class using the SCAMPER method on learning motivation, pre post survey investigation was conducted on the students for measurements through surveys to deduct conclusions. As a result, it was verified that the NCS food and beverage practice class using the SCAMPER method had positive influence on the learning motivation of specialized high school students and positive change was also found in the awareness of SCAMPER method using classes and creative activities in the students. In this study, the influence of the NCS food and beverage practice class using the SCAMPER method on learning motivation subject to specialized high school students is investigated to have meaning as data to expand the research range of NCS food and beverage practice education.
This study examines how the project approach utilizing beans as the subject matter influences young children's scientific research capabilities and scientific attitudes. This examination ultimately aims at developing effective teaching methods and programs that can promote children's scientific research capabilities and scientific attitudes. Thirty six children at H kindergarten in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do were selected as subjects of this study. The children aged five were divided into an experiment group and a comparison group, with eighteen for each group. Before the experiment, a pre-test was conducted on the children's scientific research capabilities and scientific attitudes. The pre-test results were subject to a t test to identify whether there were differences between the two groups in age as well as the levels of scientific research capabilities and attitudes. A post-test was also conducted to determine the differences between the two groups in these categories. These results have led to the conclusion that the project approach utilizing beans as the subject matter has a positive impact on improving young children's scientific research capabilities and scientific attitudes.

The purpose of this study is to explore what value home economics education should pursue to be established as an essential subject in the 'with-/post Covid-19 era', and to suggest directions for the development of the future. To this end, first of all, changes in the future society symbolized by the with-/post- Covid-19 era were diagnosed through literature review. Moreover, the 'OECD Education 2030' project and Korea's 'Educational Vision 2045', which identified the purpose of education in response to changes in the future, were considered. Furthermore, the teleology of education of John White, a British educational philosopher, was contemplated. As a result, the purpose of education for the future society is considered to be changing toward the well-being of society and individuals, and efforts such as the development of a well-being subject are being made in various countries for this purpose. While several a number of strategies are possible for the implementation of well-being education in Korea, this study argues that the easiest way is to strengthen home economics education that already exists as a subject. In addition, the main value of home economics education as an essential subject in the with-/post-Covid-19 era is evaluated to lie in the fact that this subject helped society and individuals cultivate diverse competencies necessary to pursue well-being. Finally, this study suggests a conceptual framework necessary to develop a discourse on home economics education as 'happiness and well-being education.' Additionally, a conceptual framework describing the unique thinking and execution process that learners will represent in the course of learning of home economics that implements well-being education is suggested. In the follow-up studies, it is expected that the discourse on well-being education in home economics education will be verified by empirical studies.
[ $\lceil$ ]The Life of Pigeons$\rfloor$ consists of seven different canvases without a leading image It contains fragments of disassociated ordinary subjects from a capitalistic and consuming society. In this respect, the text itself attains multiple meanings throughout with inner disharmony, disassociation and relationships of differences. The divided seven images look as if they are connected as one and are connected events that are happening at the same time and in similar places. A liberal interpretation of this work is given to viewers when the seven canvases have both relations and gaps at the same time. $\lceil$The Life of Pigeons$\rfloor$ attempts the viewer's disruption through its middle stratum of meaning structure, which is a device for viewers to rearrange and deeply analyze the seven images. As a result, the artist allows the viewers to get lost in self-contradiction. A fundamental formal structure adopting post-modernism and abandoning modernism is what we can detect with detailed analysis of the work. For instance, changing surface style appears by dividing or putting images in obliquely, furthermore it clearly shows that the main subject is divided in form such as the subject's division into seven spaces. There are three major characteristics. First, the form of the images is divided and composed through oblique and overlapped images. Second, the main content of the subject tends to be scattered. Third, the subjects are interpreted in multiple meanings due to their allegory and symbolism. The inquiry of $\lceil$The Life of Pigeons$\rfloor$ proves that it takes a post artistic spirituality as its basis and its subjects are divided by the differences and surrounding relationships.
The purpose of this study was to promote the popularization of hospice services by providing the information about the influences of hospice training on participants. We compared differences of attitudes toward death between those of pre-training and post-training by use of questionnaire. This study involved 137 volunteers participating in the hospice training held by one hospice center located in K-city. The questionnaire was composed of 46 items, 21 items of general information and 25 items of information about attitudes toward death. We applied Park's translated version(1992), originally distributed by Thorson and Powell(1988), in the assessment of participants' changed attitudes toward death. Participants were asked to fill out the questionnaire before and after the hospice training. The data were analged by frequency. ANOVA t-test, paired t-test. The results were as follows, 1.Pre-training items holding a high rank were 'The subject about the future life after death is distressing'(F=5.20), 'No worry about any occurrences around the body after a funeral'(F=4.75), 'Having little interest in being laid in a coffin after death'(F=4.56); items holding a low rank were 'Having little interest in any occurrences around the body after death'(F=2.22), 'Willing to deal with the aftermath of the death in detail'(F=1.94), 'No fear to have an idea to be cancerous'(F=1.72). 2.Post-training items holding a high rank were 'No fear to be dead as a result of sufferings from long-lasting illness'(F=3.18), 'No fear to have an idea to be cancerous'(F=3.16)', Having little interest in the future life after death'(F=3.09); items holding a low rank were 'Unpleasant to be not able to move after death(F=1.74), 'Distressing not to know about the future life after death'(F=1.61), 'The subject about the future life after death is distressing'(F=1.60). 3.There were significant difference in participants' attitudes toward death. Compared with pretraining(F=3.97), more positive were developed in post training(F=2.30). The results of this study indicate that hospice training renders positive regards toward death to the participants. Therefore every human being, who is able to speculate about the meaning of death, has to be exposed to the hospice training. In conclusion, hospice training should be popularized in the near future.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate prevalence and clinical characteristics of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in North Korean defectors (NKD). Methods : The study population consisted of 300 NKDs registered in the multi-regional adaptation center (Hana Center), within three years of settling in South Korea. We conducted in-person interviews and a survey with each subject, based on the North Korean version of the WHO-Composite International Diagnostic Interview (NK-CIDI) and various clinical scales. Results : Lifetime prevalence of PTSD in NKDs was 15.3%, approximately nine times higher than South Koreans (1.7%). Although experiencing broader type of traumas with higher rate than South Koreans, NKDs revealed lower odds of PTSD in most type of trauma (p<0.05). Conclusion : NKDs are at higher risk of experiencing different types of trauma than the general population in South Korea, and it is further validated that prevalence of PTSD is also higher. Careful evaluation for comorbid psychiatric symptoms and type of traumas prior to PTSD treatment for NKDs is necessary to facilitate more appropriate intervention for each subject, according to personal experience.

Objectives : Pulse diagnosis is one of the main diagnostic methods of Korean Medicine that understands the patient's condition and illness by reading changes in the patient's pulse, which is described in terms of pulse condition While they are described in detail in medical texts, it is difficult to grasp their true nature, as the written descriptions fail to do justice to the experience of pulse taking it tries to convey. As a way to approach pulse condition the effect of the body's tension on the radial vein was measured using an ultrasonic device, after which the measured changes and how they could be reflected in pulse condition were studied. In other words, changes in the radial vein following induced tension were analyzed. Methods : 1) The thickness of the subject's radial vein was measured using a linear probe of an ultrasonic device[LOGIQ 5 Basic, GE, USA]. 2) Fatigue level was increased through artificial stimulation using the Gripmeter[ks-301, Lavisen, Korea]. 3) Thickness of the radial vein post tension induction was measured. 4) The results were analyzed with the Tukey test or paired t-test as post hoc tests. Results : Thickness of the radial vein of the subject pre- and post- Gripmeter stimulation decreased with significance. Conclusions : Constriction of the radial vein that happened after tension induction could be linked to the Tight Pulse[緊脈] that is related to patterns of contraction and pulling.
