Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the effects of postural control exercise on the delayed heart rate increase in heart transplant patients. Methods: The subject was a female heart transplant recipient who had a delayed increase in heart rate during exercise. The intensity of exercise was performed at MBorg level 4. The A-B-A' and A-B-A'-B' designs were used to identify the changes in heart rate during active-assisted exercise, lower limb postural control exercise, and upper limb postural control exercise. Experiments were performed for four weeks. The heart rates at pre- and post-exercise were compared, and the time to reach MBorg 4 was measured. Results: In the active-assisted exercise, the average heart rates at pre- and post-exercise and after 10 min of exercise were 88, 89, and 87.7 bpm, respectively. In the repetitive comparison of pre- and post-exercise in the lower limb postural control exercise, the difference in the mean heart rate was 3.5 and 3 bpm in stable support and 14 and 14.5 bpm in unstable support, respectively. In the repetitive comparison of pre- and post-exercise in the upper limb postural control exercise, the difference in the mean heart rate was 6 and 4 bpm in stable support and 4 and 4.5 bpm in unstable support. The time required to reach MBorg 4 was short when both the upper and lower postural control exercises were performed in an unstable state. Conclusion: We suggest that combining proper postural control exercise with strength exercise and aerobic exercise, among others, may be effective in rehabilitating patients in the recovery stage after a heart transplant.
Purpose: The Study of vaccination for infants and children business in Primary Health Care Posts from 1980 to 2009. A main problem is as follows. There are a little vaccine transportation, trouble of proper temperature maintenance of a storage process, and having a lot of vaccine abolition as a little objects, educational training shortage of health care practitioner regarding to execute an inoculation. Therefore, vaccination business needs measures for management in quality in Primary Health Care Posts.
The intensive habitats loss of natural organisms as a consequence of anthropogenic activities has lead to the use of alternative habitats for species conservation. We reviewed the current status of alternative habitats and suggest the improvement of alternative habitats. Most of alternative habitats regarded in this study are not following the pre-arranged consultation at environmental impact assessment. These alternative habitats are rendered useless due to the insufficient consideration of ecological characteristics of species and lack of detailed plans. A number of alternative habitats are influenced by disturbance such as environmental pollution and construction. Post-monitoring of alternative habitats are needed to estimate immigration rate of species. Post management is also needed to assess the status of population stability. Overall, low effectiveness of alternative habitats is presented in this study. According to the status survey, methods for improvement of alternative habitats are required such as detailed guidelines, establishment of post-monitoring system, improvement of habitat restoration techniques, and guidelines for management and operation of alternative habitats.

The investigation of the surface areas, volumes and sizes (circumference, length, breadth) changes has been performed on women during menstruation, non-menstruation, pregnancy and post-pregnancy periods. (1) During menstruation and non-menstruation periods: The subjects were 30 healthy women from 19 to 24 years of age. The changes of lower leg areas were measured using the paper replacement method, showing an increase of 0.71% in surface during the menstruation period. The changes of lower 1g volumes were measured by the water replacement method, showing an increase of 1,74% in volume during the menstruation period. The correlation between the surface area changes and the volume changes was of r=0.45. The greatest change among the four parts of the leg was found at the ankle in both experiments. We measured also the foot length(1), the ball of foot girth(2), the foot breadth(3), the instep height (4), the instep girth(5), the ankle girth(6), the calf circumference(7) and we found the greatest changes in(4)=3,92% in(5)=0.79% and in (7) =0.84%. (2) During pregnancy and post-pregnancy periods: The subjects were 3 women, two pregnants(both from the 24th to the 36th week of pregnancy during the experiment) and one post-pregnant(from the second week to the eighth week during the expriment). For the first two subjects, we measured only the last 6 items of the preceding experiments(foot length(1),ball of foot girth(2), (3), (5), (6), (7)), Showing the greatest changes in the instep girth(5) and the calf circumference(7). In the case of the post-pregnant subject, these two items (5) and(7) decreased sharply during the second, third and fourth week and remain approximately the same afterwards.

Objective: This study investigated the effects of combining both mobilization and hold-relax (HR) technique on the function of post-surgical patients with shoulder adhesive capsulitis. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: Forty-five surgical patients with shoulder adhesive capsulitis participated in this study and were randomly divided into three groups; both mobilization with movement (MWM) and HR technique (HR-MWM) group (n=15), the MWM group (n=15), and control group (n=15). All participants received three different interventions; 1) MWM combined with HR technique in PNF stretching on the shoulder, 2) MWM on the shoulder, 3) general physical therapy and intervention with neither MWM or HR stretching. Pre- and post-intervention, each subject was randomly evaluated for shoulder flexion range of motion (ROM), shoulder flexor muscle strength, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and the Korean version of the Shoulder Pain And Disability Index (SPADI). Results: The MWM combined with HR technique group had significant effects on shoulder flexion ROM, shoulder flexor muscle strength, VAS and SPADI compared to the MWM and control group (p<0.05). The MWM group showed a significantly greater increase in shoulder flexion ROM compared to the control group (p<0.05). Conclusions: These findings suggest that combining both the MWM and HR technique on the shoulder may more effectively improve shoulder function than MWM alone or without MWM&HR technique. Therefore, combining both the MWM and HR technique is a suggested intervention for increasing function due to shoulder adhesive capsulitis after surgery.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the nutritional status of liver transplantation (LT) recipients and explore certain factors that influence nutritional status, including dietary patterns and physical activities. Methods: This was a cross-sectional, descriptive study. The subjects included 211 LT recipients at a medical center outpatient clinic located in Seoul, Korea. The nutritional status, dietary patterns, and physical activities of each subject were measured using the body mass index (BMI), Mini Dietary Assessment (MDA), and Global Physical Activity Questionnaire. Independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Results: The percentages of living and deceased donor LTs were 81.0% and 19.0%, respectively. The mean BMIs pre- and post-LT were 23.88 and $23.16kg/m^2$, respectively, and the average MDA score was 36.55. More than 60.0% of the subjects had a moderate or high level of physical activity. In multivariate analysis, a higher BMI before LT (${\beta}=.72$, p<.001), a lower Model for End-stage Liver Disease (MELD) score (${\beta}=-.18$, p<.001), and being male (${\beta}=-.10$, p=.024) contributed to better nutritional status post-LT. Patients within six months of LT were less engaged in muscle exercises than those post six months of LT (p=.020). Conclusion: LT recipients in Korea have good nutritional status and a good level of physical activity. To improve recipients' post-LT nutritional status, the pre-LT nutritional status should be considered, particularly in those with a higher MELD score. In addition, physical activity including muscle-strengthening exercises should be encouraged from an earlier stage.
Purpose : Forward head posture (FHP) is one of the most common postural malalignment of the cranio-cervical region. Previous studies have reported that FHP might affect both temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and cervical muscles, but still remains unclear. The purpose of this study was to compare the changes of craniovertebral angle (CVA) and muscle properties after smartphone use in healthy individuals with and without FHP. Methods : Fifteen healthy individuals aged 18 to 22 years were included. CVA was evaluated using Dartfish motion analysis, and the subjects were divided into two groups according to their CVA: a FHP group (n = 7, CVA less than 48 °) and a control group (n = 8, CVA more than 48 °). MyotonPro was used to measure muscle properties of masseter, digastric and sternocleidomastoid muscles (SCM). Each subject underwent 15-minutes of smartphone task (web browsing or video watching) in relaxed sitting posture. CVA and muscles properties were assessed both before and after the smartphone task. Results : There were significant changes in post measurements of CVA between the groups. Masseter muscle showed significant differences in pre and post measurements of all muscle properties, and digastric muscle showed significance only in muscle tone. Amount of changes (post-pre), however, showed no significant difference in this study. Conclusion : 15-minutes of smartphone task did not affect CVA and muscle properties of masseter, digastric and SCM in both groups, however, there were significant changes in pre and post measurements of CVA and some muscle properties of masseter and digastric muscles. Therefore, CVA, masseter and digastric muscles might be significantly changed in a heavy duration of smartphone usage more than 15-minutes. Further studies are needed regarding duration of smartphone task, assessments in other various TMJ muscle groups, and participants with pathological FHP conditions.
Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Influence of Infra red(IR) and myofascial release(MRF) on the range of motion and pain in persons with neck pain. Methods : 24 subjects with neck pain participated in the experiment. All subject randomly assigned to the IR group and MFR group. Both groups receive 10minutes, 3 times per week during 3 weeks period. laser exercise(LEX) used to measure range of motion of neck and visual analog scale(VAS) used to measure pain. All measurements of each subject were measured at pre-treatment and post-treatment. Results : 1. The neck flexion, extension, right-sidebending, left-rotation, right-rotation range of motion of MFR group was significantly increased.(P<0.05). 2. The neck left-sidebending, left-rotation, right-rotation range of motion of IR group was significantly increased.(P<0.05). 3. As to compare two group, MFR group increases ROM more than IR group. Conclusion : These data suggests that MFR is more beneficial than IR.
