Chinese Female Consumers' Intention to Use Mobile Payment Services

  • Purpose - This study intended to investigate ways to influence on the Chinese female consumers' use of mobile payment services. For this purpose, this research investigated the relationships among security and compatibility of the mobile payment service, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, psychological benefit, and intention to use mobile payment. Research design, data, and methodology - This research developed a structural equation model in which the usefulness, the ease of use, and the psychological benefit are predictors and the intention to use is a dependent variable. Data were collected from China female in Jiangsu and Shandong province. Results - Empirical results showed that the security and the compatibility had a positive influence on the usefulness and the ease of use. The usefulness and the ease of use influenced on the psychological benefit respectively and the psychological benefit had a positive influence on the intention to use. Conclusions - This research contributed to the mobile payment service literature by showing how Chinese women consumers adopt the mobile payment service based on TAM. Moreover, current study introduced the security and the compatibility as antecedents of the usefulness and the ease of use and revealed the mediating role of psychological benefit. Managerially, theses results suggested retailing companies ways to influence on the Chinese female consumers' use of mobile payment services.

아버지 양육참여와 사회적 지지가 영아기 어머니의 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향: 어머니 심리특성의 매개효과 (Effects of Fathers' Parental Involvement and Social Support on Parenting Stress of Mothers with Infants: Mothers' Psychological Characteristics as a Mediator)

  • This study had two purposes. One was to investigate the interrelations between the mothers' parenting stress and fathers' parental involvement, social support, and the mothers' psychological characteristics. The other was to prove that the fathers' parental involvement and social support have an effect on the mothers' parenting stress, and that these effects are mediated by the mothers' psychological characteristics. For this purpose, the data of 1,754 2-year-olds and their mothers from the 2010 Panel Study on Korean Children were analyzed using PASW ver. 21.0 and AMOS ver. 23.0 to carry out descriptive statistics, correlation co-efficiencies, and structural equation model, along with the Sobel test. The results showed that the mothers' parenting stress had significant, negative correlations with the fathers' parental involvement, social support, and mothers' positive psychological characteristics. The findings also proved that not only the fathers' parental involvement, but also social support, had significant effects on the mothers' parenting stress, and that the mothers' positive psychological characteristics mediated these relations.

가정의 사회경제적 지위, 어머니의 심리적 복지감 및 양육행동과 아동의 친구관계가 학교적응에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of SES, Mother's Psychological Well-being, Child-rearing Behavior and Child's Peer Relationship on School Adjustment)

  • The main purpose of this study was to assess the effects of SES, mother's psychological well-being, child-rearing behavior and child's peer relationship on school adjustment. A total of 237 children enrolled in the 5th and 6th grade and their mothers were used for this study. Data was collected via questionnaires completed by children and their mothers. The path analysis of antecedent variables influencing child's school adjustment revealed two different patterns. Firstly, socioeconomic status influenced child's school adjustment through maternal psychological well-being. Secondly, maternal psychological well-being affected by socioeconomic status contributed to child's school adjustment through positive child-rearing behavior and positive peer relationship. Focusing on maternal psychological well-being and mother's child-rearing behavior, the implication for promoting child's school adjustment are discussed.

경영품질의 선행요인과 결과요인: 제조업 종사자를 대상으로 (Antecedent and Consequences of Management Quality: Focused on Employees of Manufacturing Industries)

  • The objective of this study ware to explore the antecedent and consequences of management quality and to examine the mediating effects of the management quality on the relationship between antecedent and consequences. In order to verify the relationships and mediating effect, data were obtained from 328 employees working in firms at Jinju, Masan, Changwon City were analyzed by using SPSS 12.0. and AMOS 5.0. The findings are as follows: First, antecedent(psychological ownership) was positively related to management quality. Second, there were also positive relationship between management quality and consequences(employee's attitude). Third, there were also positive relationship between psychological ownership and employee's attitude(job satisfaction, organizational commitment). Finally, management quality was a partial mediating effect on the relationship between psychological ownership and employee's attitude. Based on these findings, the theoretical and practical implications and limitations are discussed in conclusion.

고령자의 평생학습 참여동기가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Elderly Participation in Lifelong Learning on Psychological Well-Being)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 평생학습 참여 노인들을 대상으로 평생학습참여가 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석해 보는데 있다. 이를 위해서 천안시에 소재하고 있는 C, D병원 평생교육기관 학습자 160명을 대상으로 하였다. 설문기간은 2019년 5월8일부터 5월 17일 까지 10일 동안 실시하였다. 첫째, 노인들의 평생학습 참여동기 중 목표지향성 요인은 심리적 안녕감에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것인가?, 둘째, 노인들의 평생학습 참여동기 활동지향성 요인은 심리적 안녕감에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것인가?, 셋째, 노인들의 평생학습 참여동기 중 학습지향성 요인은 심리적 안녕감에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것인가? 등이다. 이와 같은 연구문제를 검증하기 위해 상관관계분석을 통해 변수들과 관계가 있는 성별, 연령, 결혼여부, 교육정도 등의 변수를 통제한 다음 단순회귀분석을 실시하였다. 직접효과 검증결과를 보면 목표지향성(${\beta}=.244$, p<.001)과 활동지향성(${\beta}=.321$, p<.001) 은 심리적 안녕감에 통계적으로 유의하게 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 학습지향성(${\beta}=.284$, p>.001)은 심리적 안녕감에 통계적으로 유의하게 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 종합해 볼 때 노인들을 위한 평생학습의 프로그램은 학습지향적인 즉, 학문적인 프로그램을 지양하고 목표지향성과 활동지향성 중심의 프로그램으로 구성하는 것이 노인의 심리적 안녕감에 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.

온라인 패션점포의 품절에 대한 소비자 반응: 심리적 반발심과 감정의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Consumer Responses to Stockouts in Online Fashion Stores: Indicating Effects of Psychological Reactance and Emotion)

  • This study intended to explore fundamental causes affecting consumers' response actions from psychological factors in the situation of sellout occurring during shopping in online fashion stores. In addition, this study devised a virtual online shop in order to measure consumers' cognitive and emotional psychological responses they experienced when goods were sold out. The subjects involved women in 20s~30s, major customers of online shopping, and the subjects were randomly allocated to one of eight questionnaire forms (2(stockout size: high vs low)${\times}2$(product assortment similarity: similar vs. dissimilar)${\times}2$(restocking cue: included vs excluded)). The number of final data used for the analysis was 336 and through SPSS 21.0 program, two-way ANOVA and bootstrap were utilized. The analysis result was that consumers' psychological responses (emotions, psychological reactance) of online shops differed by means of varying stockout situations. The stockout size had positive effect on psychological reactance and negative emotions. On the other hand, there was no difference in positive emotions (arousal) according to stockout size. In stockout situation of online fashion store, the moderating effect of product assortment similarity and restocking cues were verified. According to the analysis result, interaction effects between stockout size and restocking cues, product stockout size and product assortment for psychological reactance were significant. Lastly, the mediation effect of psychological reactance and emotion between stockout size and behavioral response was tested. As a result, the moderated mediation effects of psychological reactance for substitute were significant when product assortment was dissimilar and restocking cue was exclude.

소비자의 자아존중감에 따른 네일 서비스의 심리적 효과의 차이 (Differences in psychological effects of nail-care service according to consumer's self-esteem)

  • Nail-care services are growing rapidly. If causes for the increase in nail-care service consumption is diversion or self-satisfaction, we can speculate that consumers perform self-care through nail-care services. Nail-care-service consumption should be allowed to increase because of the positive psychological effects such as improving mood or alleviating depressed emotions. Moreover, the psychological effects of nail-care services differ according to consumers' tendencies. Therefore, this study divides the types of consumers, to investigate whether there is a difference in the psychological effects of nail-care services depending on the types. This study used the questionnaire survey method. Results of the study revealed that the sub-factors of self-esteem, extracted as two factors, were "personal self-esteem" and "social self-esteem". Consumers were classified according to the sub-factors of self-esteem into four groups. There were differences in the psychological effects of nail-care services according to these four groups. It was found that all groups had psychological effects above the average value. This result indicates that only the degrees of psychological effects differ in accordance with the types of self-esteem, and that psychological effects generally play a large role in all types. Since psychological effects were positive for everyone regardless of their self-esteem, utilizing nail-care services considerably reduces the depression and anxiety of modern people. Nail-care services expected to become the basis of the nail therapy field.

세일즈프로모션 이용비용 지각과 소비자 만족에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Perceived Costs and Satisfactions on Certain Types of Sales-promotions)

  • The purpose of this study was to understand how consumers perceive the costs of using certain types of sales-promotions and to suggest ways in which sales-promotions should be developed to contribute to the consumers' welfare and the development of Marketing Strategy. The sufficiency of the consumers' desire was essential to new and creative sales-promotion strategy. This study investigated the perceived costs of using timely opportunity costs, extra expenses, substitution costs, uncomfortable feeling, regrets and economical and psychological satisfactions on certain types of sales-promotions such as off line, coupon, packed items, collection and on line, and event. In the study results on the perceived costs of using certain types of sales-promotions, off line sales-promotions were perceived more than substitution costs, extra expenses, regrets and on line sales-promotions were perceived more than timely opportunity costs. These results were caused by immediately using off line sales-promotions and becoming a member of on line sales-promotions. In the research result on the perceived costs of using certain types of sales-promotions and economical satisfactions, off line sales-promotions exhibited positive relations with substitution costs of coupon and extra expenses, regrets of packed items and collection about economical satisfactions. On line sales-promotions exhibited positive relations with extra expenses and regrets about economical satisfactions. The research results on the perceived costs of using certain types of sales-promotions and psychological satisfactions, off line sales-promotions exhibited positive relations with timely opportunity costs of coupon and collection about psychological satisfactions. On line sales-promotions exhibited positive relations with substitution costs about psychological satisfactions. These results were caused by the feeling of leisure time as the consumer played games or hobbies. This study proposes an approach in the context of sales-promotion with some suggestions and thoughts.

도시 주부의 자아긍정감과 가정생활만족도 (Family Life Satisfaction and Positive Self-concept For Urban housewives)

  • This study was designed to determine the relative importance of specific family environmental variables and positive self-concept of psychological variables in explaining family life satisfaction. Data were collected from 423 housewives in Daegu City. Multivariate regression and factor analysis and path analysis were used to analyze the data. The results of this study partially supported the hypothesis that positive self-concept of psychological factors would be more closely associated with family life satisfaction than would family environmental factors. The findings were as follows: 1. Urban housewives' positive self-concept and family life satisfaction were relatively high. 2. Among family environment variables, health, wives' education level, husband's satisfaction with job significantly influence on positive self-concept. 3. The variables which significantly affect family life satisfaction are husband's satisfaction with job, monthly family income, health. 4. From the path analysis, it found that positive self-concept has the most great influence on family life satisfation.

중학생의 긍정심리자본, 공동체의식, 스트레스가 학교적응에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Positive Psychological Capital, Sense of Community and Stress on Middle School Students' School Adjustment)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate psychological capital, sense of community and stress in relation to school adjustment and to identify factors influencing school adjustment in middle school students. Methods: This study population consisted of 150 middle school students. Data were analyzed using t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The mean score for school adjustment in middle school students was 3.68 out of 5 points. School adjustment explained 34% of the variance in sense of community (${\beta}=.39$, p<.001), positive psychological capital (${\beta}=.35$, p<.001), academic performance (${\beta}=.26$, p<.001), and stress (${\beta}=-.21$, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of our research suggest that sense of community is an important variable influencing school adjustment in middle school students. Therefore, to promote school adjustment in middle school students, it is necessary to develop and implement active educational strategies promoting sense of community, positive psychological capital, academic perfomance, and controlling stress.
