Research from many marketing fields shows that the importance of factors which ultimately reflect customers' satisfaction towards a product or service vary with the progression of time. Likewise, the emotions that users experience from using the product can vary with prolonged interaction with the product itself. Thus, research was conducted under the notion that users' emotions at the initial stage of product usage is likely to vary with that at a later stage, when users would have had more experience with the product. In this research, a comparison was made between the emotions felt by customers with first-hand experience with the iPhone and those felt by long-time iPhone users who already had much more opportunities to familiarize themselves with the product. The results of the research conducted above show that, with first usage of the iPhone, users experience a relatively low level of negative emotions(Uncomfortableness) due to the predominance of the users' positive emotions. Over prolonged usage, however, the level of negative emotions associated with the usage of the iPhone has been shown to increase. Still, it is impossible to state that the Uncomfortableness associated with iPhone usage is high in general. In fact, it has been shown that positive emotions were rather experienced by iPhone users both before and after usage, suggesting that the emotions involved during iPhone usage was generally positive. Although more research would need to be conducted to safeguard this claim, it can be generally deduced from the results of this research that:when using a product, positive emotions in terms of the reflective level accounts for much of the negative emotions(i.e. discomfort) associated with behavioral level with regard to the product itself.
This study aims to find how storytelling classes using fairy tales related to science museum exhibits have an effect on positive experience about science. For this study, the theoretical background and preceding studies on the relevance of science education and literature were collected and based on the characteristics of assimilation and the educational value of assimilation, naturally connected to the exhibits in relation to their own life, so that individuals could explore science even out-of-school. Four types of activities were developed by linking four fairy tales mentioned in elementary school textbooks to the G science museum exhibits. Seven elementary school teachers verified the validity of the activity materials. Classes through the developed activity materials were conducted four times in a row, one and a half hours at every turn for 10 students. A positive experience about science test was conducted on the students in a study to confirm that this activity has caused significant changes in science academic emotion among sub-domains of positive experience about science. In order to find the factors that affected the science academic emotion, we interviewed the students in the study and their parents. The results of this study show that the use of fairy tales related to science museum exhibits has led to a significant change in science academic emotion by reducing the burden of learning through the exhibition experience at the science museum, which creates scientific curiosity and recognizes them as a playground.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the characteristics of start-up CEOs on the performance of investment attraction from the perspective of Series A investment. The results of the study are as follows. First, when the educational level of start-up CEOs was high and startup CEOs had start-up experience and investment attraction experience, venture investors such as venture capital had a significantly positive (+) effect on the investment for start-ups. This was systematically significantly positive even when control variables were introduced. When start-up CEOs had work experiences, there was no significantly positive effect on the total investment amount for start-ups but a significantly positive (+) effect on the average investment amount. Second, the standardization coefficient of total investment amount was larger in the case of start-up experience than that in the case of investment attraction experience while the standardization coefficient of average investment amount was larger in the case of investment attraction experience than that in the case of start-up experience. This suggests that the start-up experience is important for the total investment amount while the investment attraction experience is important for the average investment amount. Third, when the sales of start-ups were high at the time of Series A investment, the total investment amount and the average investment amount were also significantly high. Even if early start-ups are less profitable or have losses, the start-ups with a certain level of sales seem to be attractive investment targets for venture capital. The results of this study are useful for the investment decisions of venture capital and the financing strategies of start-ups. The implications for pre-CEOs preparing for start-ups art that the total amount of investment will increase if they have expertise through degree acquisition, challenge start-ups, gain start-up experience and implement investment attraction. Even if CEOs of start-ups do not have start-up experience, the average amount of investment for start-ups can increase if they have work experience in related industries.
Presently, there is increasing demand for geriatric nursing care because of increasing preparation of elderly population due to extended age. Of particular importance in determining the effectiveness of nursing care given to the elderly is the attitude of the nurse toward the elderly patient. Knowledge of the various changes that usually occur with aging will enable the nurse to help an aged Person maximize his potential in illness and in health. The objectives of this study were : 1. To delineate the attitudes of nurses toward the geriatric nursing care. 2. To learn the influencing factors affecting the attitudes of nurses toward the geriatric nursing care. The study population defined and randomly selected is 225 nurses at one general hospital, one private hospital, two national hospitals in Seoul during the period of October l0th -20th, 1975. The questionnaire method was used. Respondents were 140 nurses. X$^2$- test and t- test were employed in analyzing the data. The questionnaire form included 54 statements which concerned the attitudes of nurses to-ward geriatric nursing care. It was divided into five areas : 1) General characteristics of study population. 2) The nurse's concepts of elderly. 3) Care of the geriatric patient. 4) Interpersonal relationship with geriatric patient. 5) Teaching of the geriatric patient. Each of the 54 statements of the questionnaire was considered to be either Positive or Negative. A Positive response was assigned the value of+1 , and a Negative response or no response was assigned the value of O. The results of the study were as follows : 1. The Investigation of attitudes of nurses toward geriatric nursing care. a. Data indicated , respondents have negative attitudes in their. concepts of elderly (74.3%) b. Data indicated respondents have positive attitudes in care of geriatric patient (64.3%). c. Data indicated respondents have positive attitudes in interpersonal relationship with geriatric patient (85% ). 4. Data indicated respondents have positive attitudes in teaching of geriatric patient (89.3%). 2. The results of study regarding the five hypothesis were as follows : a There was significant difference in the mean scores between the attitudes of nurses toward the geriatric nursing care and level of education of the nurse. b. There was no significant difference between the attitudes of nurses toward the geriatric nursing care and clinical experience, but there was significant difference between care of the geriatric patient and clinical experience. c. There was no significant difference between the attitudes of nurses toward the geriatric nursing care and shift most frequently worked, but there was significant difference between care of the geriatric patient and shift most frequently worked. d. There was no significant difference in the mean scores between the attitudes of nurses toward the geriatric nursing care and marital status, but there was significant difference in the mean scores between interpersonal relationship, teaching of geriatric patient and marital status. e, There was no significant difference in the mean scores between the attitudes of nurses toward the geriatric nursing care and experience with elderly, but there was significant difference in the mean scores between care of geriatric patient and experience with elderly.
This questionnaire study examined the processes linking complexity of self-construal to self-positivity conceptualized as taking multiple perspectives, self-acceptance and self-regulation that, in turn, affect psychological well-being among people with an experience of life-crisis during adulthood due to physical disability or divorce. Data were drawn from 359 adult Koreans residing in Seoul metropolitan area, including the physically disabled, the divorced, and their counterparts without a life-crisis experience during adulthood for comparison. On average, the life-crisis experience group(LEG) had a higher independent selfconstrual and a lower interdependent self-construal than the comparison group(CG). As predicted, complexity of self-construal contributed to taking multiple perspectives that helps searching for meaning, and this, in turn, was found to foster self-acceptance and self-regulation. Through these variables except self-regulation, complex self-construal contributed to psychological well-being as manifested by a higher level of positive emotion and a lower level of depression. As expected, while taking multiple perspectives fostered positive emotion both directly and indirectly through self-acceptance among LEG and CG, only in LEG it directly reduced depression. The comparative approach employed in this study enabled to discern that taking multiple perspectives promotes psychological well-being in LEG by contributing to both meaning making and positive attitude, whereas it promotes psychological well-being in CG primarily by fostering positive attitude. Finally implications for this study were discussed and directions for future research were suggested.
The purposes of this study were 1) to explore the differences in career competency and career preparation behavior in accordance with high school students' work experience types and 2) to examine the interaction effects between work experience type and sex or work experience type and grades. Three work experience types were classified as no work experience, positive work experience, and negative work experience. The study used the data from "2009 Youth Career? Occupation Survey" conducted in the National Youth Policy Institute. For the statistical analysis, two-way MANOVA was employed. The results indicated that female students had higher levels of career competency and career preparation than male students. Also, female students showed higher negative effects of negative work experience compared to male students. The analysis confirmed the interaction effects between work experience types and sex. Female students showed the higher negative effects of negative work experience than no work experience, whereas work experience, whether or not it is negative, was helpful for male students in career competency and career preparation behavior.
The purpose of this study is to explore gender differences in elderly's dating experience and related variables. 427 elderly of age 65 or older participated. The results are as follows. 1. 80% of widowed elderly had no dating experience, and far more elderly men than women had dating experience. 2. Attitudes towards dating, of both elderly themselves and their children, had influence on the elderly's dating experience, regardless of gender. This indicates that the elderly's own acceptance and their children's positive attitude are important to the elderly's dating experience. 3. Gender differences were found in influences of living arrangement (whether they lived with their children or not), economical reasons, and personality factors. These variables proved significant only for the elderly men. More elderly men who did not live with their children than the elderly men who did had experienced dating, and economical reasons along with personality factors proved to be obstructive for elderly men's dating life.
Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the mediating effect of nutritional status in the relationship between symptom experience and functional status among in patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Methods: Subject (N=139) were lung cancer patients visiting the D hospital in B city. Data collection was conducted from May 2016 to February 2017. Seven nutritional status measurement tools, 22 symptom experience tools, and 15 EORTC QLQ-C30 functional scales were used to measure nutritional, symptom, and functional levels. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS / WIN 21.0 using descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, 3-step regression analysis of Baron and Kenny, and Sobel test. Results: There was a significant positive correlation between symptom experience and nutritional status, a significant negative correlation between symptom experience and functional status, and significant negative correlation between nutritional status and functional status. Symptom experience had direct effect and indirect effects on functional status through nutritional status. Conclusion: For enhancing functional status in lung cancer patients, it is necessary to develop nursing intervention programs to palliate symptoms and improve nutritional status.

The purpose of this study was to do an epidemiological survey of the salivary reductase activity and dental caries prevalence of the large group of preschool children and analyze the validity of the salivary reductase activity test as a caries activity test. One thousand and forty-four preschool children were examined for caries experience and salivary reductase activity by dental survey and the Resazurin Disc Test. 39.8% of children showed low salivary reductase activity, 39.4% showed middle, and 20.8% showed high. Salivary reductase activity increased as age increased. All indexes of caries experience were high when salivary reductase activity was high. There was positive relation between salivary reductase activity and caries experience. The salivary reductase activity of children with no caries experience was lower than that of children with caries experience. The salivary reductase activity of children with low caries experience was lower than that of children with high caries experience. It seemed that the salivary reductase activity test had basic validity as a caries activity test. However, the test's ability to select the small risk group of high caries susceptibility should be enhanced.
This research was aimed at developing the program using the natural circumstances in Jeju Oreum as the basis of environmental education. The students were inquired about how these activities influence the environmental literacy of elementary students. The result of this study were as follows; First, the experimental group applied experience activities to the developed program to contribute to the improvement of environmental literacy. This was then compared to the control group to which theoretical classes were conducted. Second, Jeju Oreum Experience learning program has evenly influenced the elements of environmental literacy divided by the four goal levels of environmental education. As a result of the research, the Natural Experience Activities on the basis of natural circumstance is considered to affect the elementary students' environmental literacy in positive, effective manner. Consequently, the Environmental Education in a school or society should develop programs that apply to natural circumstances as a field of Environmental Education.
