레졸버를 이용한 BLDC 모터의 드라이브 개발 (Development of Drive for BLDC Motor Using Resolver)

  • The paper shows a result for development of BLDC motor drive by using a resolver as position detection sensor. The developed drive use a method detecting rotor position based on HSI interrupt function of microprocessor without a specialized counting circuit. The algorithm generating three-phase PWM wave to change switching voltage and current is realized based on single chip microprocessor. The PWM generating part and position counting circuit are realized by software technique without usage of conventional analogue circuit or object-oriented chips. So the drive system become compact. The effectiveness of the developed drive is verified by experimented results of speed response for step reference input.

도달 위상차를 이용한 열차 위치 추적 (Train Tracking System Using Phase Difference of Arrival)

  • Accurate and reliable tracking of train is essential for a train control system. The fixed block system which utilizes the track circuit has been used widely for detecting train position. As an alternative, the moving block system has the advantage over the fixed block system since it enables shorter headway and easier maintenance. This paper presents a new technique for the train tracking system which uses radio signal for the train position detection. The proposed algorithm uses the phase difference of arrival of radio signal for the detection of train position. Experimental verification of the algorithm is presented in the paper.

오차행렬에 의한 비선형 요소 위치 파악에 관한 연구 (Nonlinear elements position detecting by error matrix method)

  • 본 연구에서는 다자유도계에 국부적으로 존재하는 비선형요소의 위치를 파악 하는 방법에 관하여 연구하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 기존의 등가선형화법으로 구한 등 가행렬에 비선형요소의 위치정보가 포함되어 있음을 밝혔다. 또한 등가행렬에 포함 된 위치정보를 효과적으로 이용하기 위하여 오차행렬법과 오차벡터법을 제시하였다. 제시된 두 방법이 계에 존재하는 국부 비선형요소의 위치파악에 적합한 방법임을 시뮬 레이션을 통하여 검증하였다. 특히 오차벡터법은 비선형요소의 연결상태 및 비선형 성 정도를 파악할 수 있는 방법으로 비선형계의 모델수립에 유용한 도구임을 보였다. 그리고 특수한 경우에는 등가선형화법으로 구한 등가 감쇠 및 등가 강성계수를 응답에 대하여 그래프로 표시하면 그 비선형 형태를 대략적으로 파악할 수 있음을 밝히고 시 뮬레이션으로 검증하였다.

열확산도 측정을 위한 광열 신기루 기법 개발 (Development of photothermal mirage technique for measuring thermal diffusivity)

  • This paper introduces a novel scheme for determining the thermal diffusivity of solids using the photothermal mirage technique. The suggested scheme extends the thermal-wave coupling method, employing the solution to the heat conduction equation in close proximity to the pump beam. Therefore, determination of thermal diffusivity is possible by detecting the mirage signal with small separation between the probe and pump beams, with enhanced intensity of the mirage signal. Though the method requires information about the probe-beam height, the absolute transverse position of the probe beam need not be known as it is automatically evaluated by the iterative-computation procedure. The thermal diffusivity of Ni is measured by the proposed scheme and the result demonstrates good agreement with the literature value to within 5 %.

  • In this paper, the designed fish robot is researched and developed for aquarium underwater robot. This paper is a study on how the outside technology merely to find the location of fish robots without specific sensor or internal devices for these fish robot. The model of the fish is designed to detect the position of the optical flow of the Robotic Fish in the Simulink through Matlab. This paper intends to recognize the shape of the tank via a video device such as a camera or camcorder using an image processing technique to identify the location of the robotic fish. Here, we are applied to the image comparing algorithm by using the average color weight algorithm method. In this, position coordinate system is used to find the position coordinates of the fish to identify the position of the Robotic fish. It was verified by the performance test of design robot.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 위한 초음파 위치인식 시스템의 인식영역 확장 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Recognizing Range Expansion Techniques of the Ultrasonic Location Awareness System for the Ubiquitous Computing)

  • 이 연구는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 절대 위치 좌표를 제공할 수 있는 초음파 위치인식 시스템에 관한 것이다. 무선(RF: Radio Frequency) 신호에 의해 동기화된 다수의 고정된 발신기가 순차적으로 초음파를 발신하며, 초음파 신호들을 수신한 수신기에서 TOF를 파악하여 이를 거리로 환산한 다음 위치정보를 계산한다. 초음파의 전파시간(TOF: Time of Flight)은 주기인식 방법을 통해 파악한다. 또한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 위한 인식 영역의 확장을 위해 셀 매칭 기법과 부호화된 초음파 기법을 제안한다. 초음파 위치인식 시스템인 U-SAT을 사용하여 주기인식 기법의 유용성을 입증하기 위하여 다양한 거리에서 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 셀 매칭 기법에 의한 영역 확장에서도 위치 측정의 정확도를 검증하였으며 부호화된 초음파 기법의 분석으로 그 유용성도 입증하였다. 그 결과로 인해 저가격, 높은 갱신율, 그리고 상대적으로 뛰어난 정밀도의 입장에서 GPS가 적용될 수 없는 환경에서의 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 위치인식 시스템으로서의 가능성을 입증하였다.

예견제어를 이용한 이동로봇 운전의 안전성 향상 (Safety Enhancement in Operation of Mobile Robots using Preview Control)

  • In industry AGV's(automated guided vehicles) that can detect and follow guidelines drawn on the factory floor using magnetic or optical sensors are widely used. However, such AGV's without preview capability cannot effectively avoid collision with obstacles that may occasionally pass through the guideline. Furthermore, without preview information, they consume much energy at the right angle corners as they have to make sudden directional change. Also, the risk of dropping payloads increases in such situations. In this study, infrared preview sensors were adopted to a mobile robot for detecting not only the current position but also the forward position of the guideline and the preview control technique was applied to optimally control the mobile robot's motion using the information from the infrared preview sensors. Then the effectiveness of this approach was investigated through a series of experiments. The experimental result shows that the proposed approach is effective for safety enhancement as well as for better efficiency.

Moving Window Principal Component Analysis for Detecting Positional Fluctuation of Spectral Changes

  • In this study, we proposed a new promising idea of utilizing moving window principal component analysis (MWPCA) as a sensitive diagnostic tool to detect the presence of peak position shift. In this approach, the moving window is constructed from a small data segment along the wavenumber axis. For each window bound by a narrow wavenumber region, separate PCA analysis was applied. Simulated spectra with complex spectral feature variations were analyzed to explore the possibility of MWPCA technique. This MWPCA-based detection of the peak shift, potentially coupled with 2D correlation analysis to provide additional verification, may offer an attractive solution.

  • A wavelet transform which is presented as a new technique of signal processing field decompose input signals into subsignals for expressing them in different resolutions and into detail signals for expressing the remaining signals. And the signals obtained from the progress include the information about input signals at the same time and scale. And when two wavelet bases are designed to form Hilbert transform pair, wavelet Pair show superior performance than the existing DWT in data detection of pulse type. Therefore in this paper, we detected position of impulse noise by using two dyadic wavelet bases which are designed by truncated coefficient vector.

High-speed Three-dimensional Surface Profile Measurement with the HiLo Optical Imaging Technique

  • Various techniques to measure the three-dimensional (3D) surface profile of a 3D micro- or nanostructure have been proposed. However, it is difficult to apply such techniques directly to industrial uses because most of them are relatively slow, unreliable, and expensive. The HiLo optical imaging technique, which was recently introduced in the field of fluorescence imaging, is a promising wide-field imaging technique capable of high-speed imaging with a simple optical configuration. It has not been used in measuring a 3D surface profile although confocal microscopy originally developed for fluorescence imaging has been adapted to the field of 3D optical measurement for a long time. In this paper, to the best of our knowledge, the HiLo optical imaging technique for measuring a 3D surface profile is proposed for the first time. Its optical configuration and algorithm for a precisely detecting surface position are designed, optimized, and implemented. Optical performance for several 3D microscale structures is evaluated, and it is confirmed that the capability of measuring a 3D surface profile with HiLo optical imaging technique is comparable to that with confocal microscopy.
