An environment of world marine port today is rapidly changing. Importance of a hub port is being maximized along with appearance of a large container ship, and Busan port is also growing with the goal as a hub port of Northeast Asia. Busan port currently has competitive power as the 5th top port in the world, but increase rate of transportation quantity, is low compared to Shanghai port in China and other ports in Northeast Asia. For a port to obtain competitiveness, investment on infrastructures of a port is necessary and also it has close relation with an intraregional port logistics industry. However, a port logistics industry in Busan area has a hard time avoiding a small size due to the government support on major companies. Therefore, this study will analyze difficulties of small port logistics companies and the related companies as to vitalize port logistics industry in Busan area in hopes to help vitalizing regional economy.

Every ports is making great efforts to get competitiveness. It is progressing for the research on port model of new concept that connect port-related business to be developed from base running simple cargo processing to universal port that has economical efficiency and competitiveness, This research shows development way of Busan port that connect ship-repair industry which is port-related business. Development way is especially handled link between port and ship-repair industry field activation of high value-added ship as LNG etc.

Busan is Korea's No. 1 trading port, and the logistics industry plays an important role in the regional industry as a whole. In Busan, various efforts are being made to revitalize the port logistics industry, but it is necessary to develop various policies and related technologies linked with the 4th industry. In this study, we propose a smart refrigeration logistics center, which is required for the activation of Busan New Port and the new port of Pusan New Port, which is connected with the 4th industry. I would like to present the operation direction of the center.

본 연구 대상지인 광양시의 지역기반산업은 광양항과 광양제철소이다. 따라서 광양시 항만물류산업의 지역경제 파급효과를 분석할 필요성이 제기된다. 본 연구는 2015년과 2019년의 전국산업연관표를 이용하여 RW접근법과 LQ기법을 활용한 다단계접근법으로 광양시 지역산업연관표를 작성하고, 항만물류산업을 재분류한 외생화 수요유도형 모형을 적용하였다. 이를 통해 광양시 항만물류산업의 지역경제 파급효과를 계량적으로 파악하여 정책적 시사점을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 분석 결과, 광양시 항만물류산업의 생산유발효과 및 전·후방연계효과가 높은 산업은 제조업, 운송,육상 및 항공물류 부문으로 분석되었다. 그리고 부가가치유발효과 및 취업유발효과가 크게 나타난 산업은 서비스업 관련 산업으로 분석되었다. 따라서 이 산업들을 촉진시켜 광양시 지역경제를 활성화시키는 방안으로 항만물류산업을 육성하는 지원책 마련이 필요하다. 이를 위해 광양항 해양산업클러스터의 활성화를 위한 정책 및 제도 개선과 광양시 항만물류산업 부문의 제반 정책적 지원을 마련하는 것이 바람직하다고 할 것이다. 본 연구는 중소도시의 항만물류산업을 외생화하여 분석한 결과를 토대로 광양시 지역경제의 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다는 데 그 의의를 둘 수 있다. 하지만, 향후 이와 관련된 연구가 지속적으로 필요할 것으로 보인다.

Globalization of production, changing technology in ocean shipping sector, shifting bargaining power from port service provider to port users, changing distribution patterns of the containerization and new implementation for the environment and safety concerns introduced new ways of administration in port sector. In these days, port industries cannot survive alone. Port operation and management has to be proactive to cooperate and integrate with other port operators or other industries. In the 21st century, cooperation in maritime sector is more common than that in the past with several different reasons in a mixture of forms of cooperation. Cooperation among port authorities, port operators, shipping line, inland transport service providers and/or related organizations themselves becomes to exist to overcome the challenges and development of the global transport chain. This paper investigates the concept of port cooperation and the case analysis of the cooperation in the port industry.

스마트 자율운항선박(MASS)은 해사안전 및 해양환경 보호를 위한 안전성, 신뢰성, 효율성 기반의 친환경 스마트 해상운항 서비스의 제공을 목표로 추진하고 있으며, 향후 해운 해사 항만 물류, 조선 및 기자재산업 등 해양과 관련된 산업 전반에 걸쳐 급격한 변화를 가져올 것으로 예상된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자율운항선박 도입과 관련한 정책 우선순위를 파악하여 산업별 대응 전략을 마련하고, 해운 항만 조선 분야를 포괄하는 스마트 해상물류체계 구축을 위한 정책방안을 제시하였다.

Recently we have seen a noticeable trend in ports to establish port clusters. Despite this trend, little research has actually been undertaken to fully define and analyse port clusters. A couple of exceptions have descriptively defined port clusters but the boundaries of port clusters are not apparent. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to define port clusters in terms of set theory and in particular look at them in terms of their distinct characteristics and system boundaries. The main concern of this paper is that there is a need to distinguish, from a system and a competition perspective, between port clusters, ports, maritime clusters and port ranges. This paper proposes a conceptual model relevant to the relationship among port clusters related assemblages and that has been applied to the north western europe region This model suggests six levels of competition that will help port authorities and government to develop appropriate policies and strategies for port operation and port industry.

우리나라도 1999년 관세자유지역 제도에 관한 특별법이 제정되면서 관세자유지역에 대한 제도적 기반을 마련하게 되었다. 그러나, 이러한 연구의 대부분은 선진국 성공사례의 벤치마킹과 부산항을 비교분석함으로써, 그 발전방안을 제시하고 있어 실제 부산항의 항만물류기능을 수행하고 있는 현 업체 및 실제 시장에 대한 고찰은 매우 부족한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 이러한 취지에서 관세 자유지역 제도의 도입이라는 변화에 가장 큰 영향을 받는 대상인 항만물류관련업체들의 실제 시장실태를 구조적으로 분석하고 그러한 분석결과를 기반으로 관세자유지역에 대한 업계의 의식을 고찰하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다.

항만과 도시의 경제적 연계성에 대해서는 비교적 많은 연구가 수행되었는바, 근래의 연구결과를 보면 양자의 연계성이 점차 약화되고 있다는 관점에서 이루어진 연구가 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. 항만으로 인한 물류서비스 이용의 편의성과 비용절감 효과를 통한 도시경제 기여효과는 감소하는 반면, 환경 악화, 친수활동 제약 등 부정적 영향은 증대하고 있기 때문이다. 또한 도시의 항만 활동에대한 지원효과 즉, 항만서비스에 대한 수요 창출, 노동력 공급 기능 등도 약화되고 있다. 한국의 대표적인 항만도시인 부산시의 사례를 보면 주요 경제지표 추세 및 성장요인 분석 결과 항만과 도시발전의 연계관계가 극히 낮다는 점을 확인할 수 있다. 특히 변이할당분석에 의한 성장요인 추계 결과를 보면 부산시 지역경제는 항만물류가 포함된 운수업을 제외한 대부분의 산업부문에서 경쟁력이 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 부산시 지역경제는 경쟁력의 우위를 확보한 운수업(항만물류 포함)의 지원효과를 제대로 누리지 못하고 있는 것으로 판단된다. 한편, 운수업(항만물류 포함) 의 발전을 위한 연관 및 지원산업으로 정보 및 통신업, 금융 및 보험업, 가공조립형 제조업 등의 경쟁력이 낮은 것으로 나타나고 있다는 점도 향후 부산시 지역경제와 항만의 연계발전에 있어 문제점으로 지적된다.

In the field of logistics, the maritime shipping industry plays a critical role as the backbone of global trade activities. Nevertheless, previous studies on the commercialization and benefits of blockchain technology are limited in the field of marine logistics. Thus, the purpose of this study was to predict the benefit for each group involved in marine logistics when blockchain technology is applied. As such, 21 factors of benefits were selected for seven major logistics groups (financial institutions, freight forwarders, inland transportation, ocean carriers, port operators, port-related government authorities, and shippers) to study the benefit expected for each through the commercialization of blockchain technology. Based on the results, a different benefit level is expected for each group when blockchain technology is used. In order, ocean carriers (0.155), inland transportation (0.150), financial institutions (0.153), port operators (0.145), freight forwarders (0.142), port-related government authorities (0.129), and shippers (0.126) were found to benefit most from the use of blockchain technology. This study has industrial implications in that it presents the benefits expected when blockchain technology is realized and used in marine logistics by groups involved in logistics transactions.
