Steel fiber is high stiffness and large weight. So, Pumping hose to rupture of the safety management is difficult. Steel fiber caused by corrosion of the deterioration of durability and high-rebound losses are needed for the improvements. Thus, the revised regulations in 2009 by a steel fiber to reinforce other materials is possible. Variety of fiber reinforcement material for concrete review of applicability is needed. Steel fiber strength than the other fibers is large and by the geometry of the fibers are attached to improve performance. However, compared to steel fiber organic fibers and low modulus of elasticity and tensile strength of fiber and agglomeration occurs in the concrete to be used as reinforcement material is difficult. In this regard, the present study as a single object in the micro-fiber bouquet sharp entanglement through make muck attach surface area, distributed fibers from surfactant of the surface enhanced polyamide fibers, steel fiber and PP fiber reinforced concrete by comparing the scene to provide a basis for the use.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect according to the fiber type and combination on the reinforcement of heat-polymerized denture base resin. The heat-polymerized resin(Vertex RS, Dentimax, Netherlands) was used in this study. Glass fiber(GL; ER 270FW, Hankuk Fiber Glass, Korea), polyaromatic polyamide fiber(PA; aramid; Kevlar-49, Dupont, U.S.A.) and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fiber(PE, polyethylene; P.E, Dong Yang Rope, Korea) were used to reinforce the denture base resin specimens. The final size of test specimen was $64mm{\times}10mm{\times}3.3mm$. The specimens of each group were stored in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 50 hours before measurement. The flexural strength and flexural modulus were measured by an universal testing machine(Z020, Zwick, Germany) at a crosshead speed of 5 mm/min in a three-point bending mode. In this study, all fibers showed reinforcing effects on denture base resin(p<0.05). In terms of flexural strength and flexural modulus, glass fiber 5.3 vol.% showed most effective reinforcing effect on heat polymerized denture base resin. For flexural modulus, PA/GL was the highest in denture base resin specimen for hybrid FRC using two combination (p<0.05). Glass fiber 5.3 vol.% and PA/GL are considered to be applied effectively in reinforcing the heat polymerized denture base resin.

In this paper, electrical characteristics of EP(engineering plastic) studies for the purpose of electrical insulation materials. A base resin of the EP are Polyamide and Polyphthalamide. And filler is Glass Fibre. Electrical characteristics of EP represents volume resistivity, arc resistance and breakdown voltage according to glass fiber contents. We compare before water immersion and after water immersion. As the results of experiments, Polyphthalamide has good characteristics of insulation material rather than Polyamide as an insulator for electrical power system.

Organic acid salt of fatty polyamide (DDDT) and acrylate of fatty carbamide (DDTCA) were synthesized as a main component for the softener. O/W type non-ionic softener (NSC) was prepared by blending DDDT and DDTCA with beef tallow, lanolin anhydride. polyoxyethylene(7) stearyl ether, and polyoxyethylene(50) oleyl ether. After treatment of NSC to all cotton fabrics, the physical properties such as tear strength, crease recovery, and flexing abrasion resistance were measured. As a result of the measurement, NSC was proved to be durable non-ionic softener with good softness.

Nylon was the first commercialized synthetic fiber. It is a polyamide, derived from a diamine and dicarboxylic acid. The nylon fiber has outstanding durability and excellent physical properties such as stiffness, wear and abrasion resistance, friction coefficient and chemical resistance. Due to these properties of nylon 66, nano-sized fibers are produced by electrospinning method in this study. During the past years the nylon 66 fibers have been prepared by conventional melt spining. Fiber reinforcement has been being widely used in concrete to enhance the mechanical properties and to reduce the micro-cracking caused by plastic and drying shrinkage. While researches has been focused on the benefits of fiber reinforcement, the properties of fiber reinforced concrete are strongly dependent on the type, shape and the amount of fibers in concrete.

Carbon fiber-reinforced composites have excellent mechanical properties. However, the fracture toughness is a disadvantage due to brittle failure mode. The fracture toughness can be enhanced using hybridization with large-elongation fibers. In this study, polyamide (aramid) fibers are hybridized with carbon fiber with various stacking sequences. As a result, the Izod impact strength was enhanced by 63% with 25% aramid fiber hybridization. It is also shown that there is an optimal point in laminated composite hybridization, [CF/CAF2/CF]s stacking sequence.

Friction and wear characteristics of short fiber reinforced and particulate filled composites were investigated experimentally. Two kinds of fiber composites, chopped graphite fiber reinforced PAI(polyamide-imide) and glass fiber reinforced PAI, and a particulate composite, TiO$_{2}$ powder filled PAI, were selected for the friction and wear test since these are important engineering materials based on a new high temperature engineering plastic. All the specimens were cut into proper size for cylinder-on-plate type wear test. Frictional forces were measured by employing a load transducer and wear rates were calculated by measuring weight loss during wear test. The experimental results are reported in this paper and carefully discussed to explain the friction and wear behavior qualitatively. The frictional behavior is interpreted by considering four basic friction components which are believed to the genesis of friction and the wear behavior is explained by applying delamination theory of wear.

Hydrolyzable organic esters were compared with ammonium sulphate as an acid donor for the pH control in dye-bath-reuse system of acid dyes mixtures. The ability of pH control, levelness, dyeing properties and reproducibility in dye-bath-reuse system were investigated comparatively. Hydrolyzable organic esters showed higher exhaustion and color yield than ammonium sulphate. In addition, hydrolyzable organic ester exhibited very low conductivity less than 0.5 mS, while ammonium sulphate give high conductivity. However, we could not observe any difference in levelness of dyed samples between two kinds of acid donors in laboratory scale dyeing. Over 10 cycles of reuse, hydrolyzable organic esters showed higher reproducibility than ammonium sulphate. No deterioration of the color fastness and levelness occurs over 10 cycles of reuse.
