Several policy measures related to green tourism have been enforced from 2001 by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF). Rural Development Administration(RDA). Ministry of Environment(ME) and Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs(MGAHA). These have to be introduced and managed of their own accord and autonomously. Also, the rural community that has been promoting green tourism must be harmonized with its natural environment, namely natural scenery and rural culture, which provide urban residents with amenity and rurality. So green tourism had better be based on environmental-friendly agriculture because it offers safe foods and areas, many creatures to see and play around. To manage green tourism sustainable, it if important for rural and urban residents to come into close relation and to trade in organic products each other. Lastly, the region bounds in green tourism have to be expanded into county(Gun) unit.

The purpose of this study is to compare the standards and guidelines of long-term care facilities based on the physical environments and human resources in Korea, Japan, USA, and Australia. Ultimately, this study suggests the directions for amendments of long-term care service or running of the facilities in Korea. For achieving this purpose, we reviewed the homepage of national health departments, reports and articles of long-term care service, and acts related with long-term care in each country. This comparisons were carried in terms of physical environments, human resources by long-term care related acts and legal sanctions as means of quality control. This study implies that long-term care service guidelines or standards should be revised for developing the quality of our long-term care services.

With the global adoption of the reduction policy on greenhouse gas and environmental pollution, that is 'low carbon green growth', the central and local governments strive to increase their investments in railways in an effort to replace fossil fuels, and seek the ways to diversify and vitalize the tourism resources taking full advantage of the railway systems. Seoul metro has therefore launched 'A research on the development of the Bukhan mountain railway' for the establishment of the environmentally friendly tourism belt making good use of Mt. Bukhan., the only national park in the Seoul metropolitan area, with its picturesque scenery. This paper pursues the basic directions for the application scope of the relevant laws and regulations for the development of the mountain railways as part of our continuing effort to further 'A study on the development of the Bukhan mountain railway' along with the review on the project implementation policy pursuant to the applicable laws on private investment for social infrastructures.

This study used a resource-based perspective to analyse the effects of organizational composition on the R&D performance of science and technology government-funded research institutes (GFRIs). We assumed that the composition of each GFRI would eventually be regarded as absorptive capacity and act as a moderating variable between R&D investment and performance. We used a panel generalized least squares (GLS) model with fixed effects to analyse panel data from 115 Korean GFRIs between 2011 and 2015. Our findings show that R&D investment of GFRIs has a direct and positive effect on performance. We also analysed how organizational composition can moderate the effect of R&D investment on performance. The findings provide evidence that organizational composition plays a moderating role between R&D investment and performance. Finally, this study discusses policy implications, its limitations, and also highlights future research directions.

This study purposes to examine the relationship between high performance-HRM system of medical doctor and the effectiveness of hospital. The high performance-HRM practices were derived from reviewing the literature of SHRM(Strategic Human Resource Management) and investigating some cases of Korean leading hospitals. The result reveals that the high performance-HRM system of medical doctor is significantly related with subject measurement such as financial performance, employees' turnover, and customer(patient) satisfaction. Moreover, it is positively related to objective performance such as hospital's profit growth, yearly patient growth. Based on the result, the academic and practical implications are suggested and then the limitation and further research directions are discussed.

In this study, demand side management for efficiency enhancement of district heating has been investigated. Objectives of demand side management of district heating are classified and analyzed. Foreign and domestic examples are studied. Evaluation methods of demand side management of district heating are studied. Applications and expected effect of the results are presented. Finally directions for demand side management of district heating efficiency enhancement are suggested.

This is a summary of a comparative study of the national policies to foster the agri-food industry implemented by the leading countries of the industry before and after the COVID-19-induced global economic crisis. By comparing the policies of each country, we discovered that key leading countries of the agri-food industry had given up or suspended one-on-one, face-to-face support programs that they had maintained for years, and have started providing financial assistance to companies or self-employed people in relative industries. Korea should implement such decisive policies for the Korean agri-food industry to tackle this unprecedented economic shrink and maintain the competitiveness of the industry. Considering the scale and speed of the spreading of the pandemic, the new policies should be implemented swiftly and boldly. This study can be used as a base material for developing new policies to minimize damage to the agri-food industry and national economy caused by COVID-19.

Korea's population is aging at a faster pace than any other major country, and the adverse impact of this trend on the economy is predicted to be significant. This paper focuses on the macroeconomic effects of population aging with particular attention paid to the pace of aging in Korea. According to our analysis, it is difficult to offset the decline in the labor supply driven by rapid population aging, even if the labor force participation rate of the working-age population rises to a significantly high level. We suggest a re-orientation of policy directions to correspond to the behavioral changes of economic agents. Policies must focus on promoting labor force participation among the elderly while pushing towards human capital advancement and higher productivity.

As the widespread adoption and proliferation of electric vehicles continue, the secondary battery market is experiencing rapid growth. However, lithium-ion batteries, which constitute a majority of secondary batteries, present high risks of fire and explosion. Solid-state batteries are thus garnering attention as the next-generation batteries since they eliminate fire hazards and significantly reduce the risk of explosions. Against this background, the study aimed to analyze research trends and provide insights by examining 2,927 domestic papers related to solid-state batteries over the past decade (2013-2022). Specifically, we used topic modeling to extract major keywords associated with solid-state batteries research and to explore the network characteristics across major topics. The changes in research on solid-state batteries were analyzed in-depth by calculating topic dominance by year. The findings provide an overview of the emerging trends in domestic solid-state battery research, and might serve as a valuable reference in shaping long-term research directions.

With the ready access to the high resolution satellite image data, users of and areas covered by satellite image data are constantly on the rise world-wide. Korea will also be able to take full advantage of the satellite data once the KOMPSAT is successfully launched. Harmonizing satellite data production and application technology and users' needs, along with the guiding policy is essential for promoting satellite data use. Up to now, the Korean government has mainly concentrated on developing production technology for the satellite units. However, the imminent task of independent satellite data production demands a promotion policy for satellite data use. In this context, the policy is defined as an important medium for identifying the role and status of satellite image information at the national level and also Preparing the legal as well as systematic foundation for producing, building, distributing, and packaging satellite data. For example, in the countries with the advanced satellite technology, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, digital ortho image and digital elevation model (DEM) are mandatorily included in the National Geographic Framework Data through policy measures. In addition, in order for the efficient provision of the satellite data, separate organization or agency is being in operation for the exclusive production and distribution of the satellite data. The present paper aims to examine the role and status of the satellite data as well as their current status and problems in Korea in reference to the National Spatial Data Infrastructure, and finally to provide the policy directions to promote the satellite data use in public sector on the basis of the preceding analyses.
