With the advent of COVID-19, the world economy has undergone enormous losses and unprecedented crises. Moreover, this pandemic has put a significant effect on all business organizations, comprising the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector. MSMEs have been continuing to develop business strategies and are eager to compete in the market. The COVID-19 pandemic has shifted the full focus of MSMEs from 'business growth' to 'business survival' worldwide. E-commerce readiness plays a crucial role in a time of uncertainty and crisis during COVID-19 and affects the durability and sustainability of the business. This study attempts to study the readiness of online business and "E-commerce" adoption of MSMEs and its contribution to economic growth by utilizing both qualitative and quantitative techniques in the case of India. We use content analysis to determine the readiness of online business and Ecommerce in the post COVID-19 period. The result highlights the specific issues of this sector such as the shortage of resources and disruptions in the supply chain & logistical issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. Qualitative analysis discloses that almost half of the respondents adopt online platforms along with additional challenges to sustain their business during the pandemic. This study utilizes annual time series data for the period from 1973-74 to 2017-18 to understand the long-run relationship between India's GDP and MSMEs units. By utilizing the co-integration technique, this study reveals that there is a long-run relationship between MSME units and the economic growth of this country.

The pressing need to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions has stimulated a renewed interest in nuclear energy worldwide. However, while numerous countries have shown interest in nuclear power over the course of history, many of them have not continued their pursuit and chosen to defer or abandon their peaceful nuclear power projects. Scrapping a national nuclear power program after making initial efforts implies significant challenges in such a course or a waste of national resources. Therefore, this study aims to identify the crucial factors that influence a country's decision to terminate or hold off its peaceful nuclear power programs. Our empirical analyses demonstrate that major nuclear accidents and leadership changes are significant factors that lead countries to terminate or defer their nuclear power programs. Additionally, we highlight that domestic politics (democracy), lack of military alliance with major nuclear suppliers, low electricity demand, and national energy security environments (energy import, crude oil price) can hamper a country's possibility of regaining interest in a nuclear power program after it has been scrapped, suspended, or deferred. The findings of this study have significant implications for policymakers and stakeholders in the energy sector as they strive to balance the competing demands of energy security, and environmental sustainability.

The rapid expansion of industrialization and population growth worldwide has led to a significant surge in energy demand, perpetuating heavy reliance on finite fossil fuel reserves. Although prevailing policies primarily target ground-mounted solar photovoltaics, there is a noticeable increase in the adoption of floating solar power generation systems on water surfaces. Nonetheless, adequate studies and legislative reviews on offshore solar photovoltaics in Korea are lacking. The absence of well-defined criteria for the economic analysis of floating solar photovoltaics presents hurdles to their economic feasibility. This study conducted a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis of offshore photovoltaics to evaluate their economic viability and compared four types of solar photovoltaics based on the operating area and technology: ground-mounted, floating on inland water, pontoon-based offshore, and flexible system offshore. Perspectives from both central and local government entities, emphasizing social aspects, as well as inputs from private companies with a financial focus were considered. The findings revealed variations in economic viability depending on the operating area and technology employed. This study aims to contribute to the advancement of market maturity and technology within the realm of offshore solar photovoltaics.

The rapid adoption of smartphones led to using SNS(Social Network Service) and many organizations use of SNS as a strategic tool for marketing. Utilization of SNS in the organizations separately operated each channel due to technical problems with SNS. So, the channel separations is required much more operation and management cost to organizations. In this paper, we apply to HTML5 as the web standard technology, and implement to the integrated channels, and the result showed.

This study aimed at improving our understanding of education-related Web usage for schoolwork and research in universities. This study found out a list of factors that influence the usage of education-related Web sites by Korean and New Zealand university students and suggested the features of those factors. These findings will enhance further understanding of factors associated with Education-related Web usage and the relationship among attitude, intention to use, and performance, which could help web practitioners design and develop education-related Web sites to promote web usage and attract university students into their web sites.

This article examines the issue of utilization of research findings from public funded research institutions (PRIs) and universities in Malaysia from the perspective of knowledge flows. Such a perspective is adapted from the literature on innovation and knowledge systems. This representation of innovation in terms of knowledge flows helps us to focus on the managerial dimensions involved in the organization of activities such as research and development (R&D). The paper reveals that there is a dismal rate of adoption of research findings generated from PRIs and universities in Malaysia. It is argued that this poor performance is a consequence of weak research management practices. A framework on the key elements of sound research management is described. The article concludes with a discussion on managerial and policy issues arising from these deficiencies and some suggestions for addressing them.

Since technological innovation, adoption, and diffusion is a fundamental engine for a company's competitiveness and in turn a nation's industrial development, diffusion of technological innovation has been one of popular research themes to many researchers and scholars for decades. Especially, in today's knowledge-based economy, the IT technology became a fundamental infrastructure for a nation and thus their impact on a nation's economy has grown to be tremendous. This paper investigates the patterns of technological diffusion of 16 telecommunications services. Firstly, we identify the optimal diffusion model which represents the 15 IT innovation best in terms of goodness-of-fit. Secondly, based on the best model identified we cluster the 16 IT innovations according to their diffusion characteristics such as penetration rate and diffusion speed. Lastly, we categorize the innovations in terms of technology (voice-based innovation and data-based innovation) and demand (household-use and business-use) attributes, and compare their diffusion patterns and found some meaningful difference in diffusion patterns. We hope the result helpful to corporate managers as well as policy makers in relevant areas.

Information technology is a useful strategic weapon that can create competitive advantage and new business opportunity by applying it in the organization' value chain. IT convergence can be understood as an attempt of industrial level IT adoption to facilitate the innovation of the industry and the birth of a new industry. This study provides the comprehensive review of the Korean government' three IT assimilation programs, ubiquitous technology diffusion program of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, u-service program of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and u-Defence cooperation program of the Department of Defense. The analysis is done through the interpretation of the existing literature and the logic model. The result proposes inter-agency cooperation and building of new technology road-map in the planning stage, flexible management in the execution phase, and failure tolerant evaluation system. The proposal for developing competencies and institutional foundations for IT convergence also presented.

The paradigm of agricultural and rural policies has shifted from food production and profitability to the competitiveness of rural areas through the discovery, grants and use of the agricultural and rural resources' potential value. This study aims to discover the value of the agriculture and rural resources and intend to offer the method for discovering resources and its value as the agricultural heritage. To this end, the functions and values of the agricultural and rural resource, the criteria and procedure of Globally and Nationally Important Agricultural Heritage System which is leading institutions were investigated. The policy implications were proposed in the process and series of steps of discovery and evaluation of the pluralistic value of the agriculture and rural resources and agricultural heritage designation and management.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the current state of e-commerce for corporations in the steel industry and to analyze the factors that led failure in active use of e-commerce. Data from 51 companies are col looted. Factors that affect the e-commerce adoption and use of were analyzed. The influence of e-commerce utilization on corporate performance was also examined. It was found that several factors known to influence e-commerce use in the steel industry such as transact ion methods, preferences, and the level of information-orientation, did not actually have a significant impact. Rather items such as the maturity of e-commerce experience and perceptual compatibility between product characteristics and e-commerce turned out to have a significant influence on the utilization levels of e-commerce. The level of e-commerce utilization in system had a significant impact on each of the three performance dimensions : internal performance, external performance and financial performance.
