This study considers sustainability in new town development projects in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Since the mid-1980's the purpose of new Town projects in Japan changed from encouraging residential development to sustaining self-sufficiency within multi-functional cities. Nevertheless simultaneous increases in elderly population and declines in general population became the new town's key issue. Is this trend a general phenomenon in Tokyo? Has the multi-functional city policy failed? What policies can encourage new town self-sufficiency? Judging from this research, the new towns of Tokyo are relatively young areas with low aging rates and low rates of population decrease. Nevertheless, in view of the multi-functional city plan, levels of self-sufficiency and social-mix in most new towns are inadequate. Considering these, this research recommends new town plans be required to consider surrounding industries and the accessibility form CBD to encourage self-sufficiency. Moreover, The social mix plan encouraging residential diversity is important to the sustainability of the new town.
Mobile phone-related industries have been mainly concentrated on attracting the new customers and increasing the market share such as for the aggressive marketing activities, but it is the time to find an effective strategy to preserve existing customers since the mobile phone market had already reached the saturation. In this study, the properties of mobile phone that influence on the choice of handset and telecom company were analyzed. General properties of respondents were explored and the mobile phone properties were grouped by common factors. And analyzed the effect of factors on customer satisfaction with structural equation model. 10.4% of respondents are used their handset more than two years and 48.7% wanted to purchase other manufacturer's handset if they repurchase mobile phone. These results might come form the fact that the life cycle of mobile phone become shorter by the heating competition in mobile phone market and, to some degree, the influence of smart phone which recently become globally popular. Four factors, 'Hardware Quality', 'Practicality', 'Convergence Functions' and 'Level of Awareness', are induced from the mobile phone properties. In Structural Equation Model analysis, 'Hardware Quality' and 'Practicality' have significant and positive effects on Customer Satisfaction. But, 'Awareness' such as brand and trend appeared quite less influence on the customer satisfaction.
This study analyzed through GEM-listed companies for verifying the interrelationship between positive and negative impacts on accounting information GEM-listed companies, whether venture firms operate the internal control operation system stably. Hong Kong's GEM listed company is a securities market similar to Korea's KOSDAQ market. To analyzing this study, used regression analysis method through internal control index to evaluate the operation of internal control system and discretionary accruals to evaluate the quality of accounting information. In this study, because profit adjustments used to realize through discretionary accruals, so analyzed using the modified Jones model to check whether the management deliberately transformed the company to realize future profits. In the empirical analysis, the correlation between the internal control index and the discretionary accruals to assess the quality of accounting information was able to find highly correlated. This study can provide useful guidance for evaluating the form and value of profit management of venture firms in the future, also would expect to help understand the financial environment of emerging venture firms.
NLP means the technology that mechanically analyzes a language spoken by a human and makes it into a form that can be understood by a computer. This is important because it is a core technology for communication between humans and devices, which is the basis of artificial intelligence. In this paper, I analyzed patent information of US and Korea in order to identify technical trends related to NLP, especially semantic analysis. and the purpose of this study is to provide meaningful information for future research on NLP. In conclusion, the number of Korea patents is 7.9% compared to the USA and the different frequencies of the major keywords were found to differ from country to country in technical direction. In addition, the upward or downward keywords are twice as many in the U.S. as in Korea, and reflect the trend of the times relatively more. Based on these results, in future study, I will analysis how upward trending keywords are described in actual patents for concrete technology prediction.
This paper studies the impact of domestic and foreign economic activity on mobility among regions. The shortage of human resources and demand continues in Eastern Europeans. Especially Ukrainians, have entered the Polish labor market to make up for the scarce areas. As a result, Poland's supply and demand in Ukraine is disproportionate. Minimum wage increases are putting continued pressure on employers. Therefore, the regression equation in the form of job-seeker's economic activity ratio, y= AX2+B,(x=settlers) can be used to grasp the relationship between curves. According to the domestic and foreign workers who migrated, economic activities was rather than increasing the local population, the settlers of nearby large cities is more proportional. Empirical analysis has shown that the human resource hub has increased migration to large cities and industrial. The hub 'A'nation has been created for mobility in 4th wave re-industry, and the same re-industrialization (N2) in other cities has attracted nearby human resources, but not settle. After all, the hub relationship between N1 and N2 is a mobile relationship. Due to wage inequality or a positive wellbeing chasm, workers are not settled plant area but a nearby city, or commuting between borders is easy to go into the hub central city. However, this proved on emerging from the relatively temporary settlers in the AI era.

In Korea most of annual rainfall is concentrated in several episodic heavy rains during the season of summer monsoon and typhoon. Because of uneven rainfall distribution many dams have been constructed in order to secure water supply in dry seasons. The Han River system has the most dams among Korean rivers, and the river is a series of dams now. Reservoirs need different strategy of water quality control from river water. Autochthonous organic matter and phosphorus should be the major target to be controlled in lakes. In this Paper some problems are discussed that makes efforts of water quality improvement ineffective in lakes of Korea, even after the substantial investment to wastewater treatment facilities.1) Phosphorus is the key factor controlling eutrophication of lakes and the reduction ofphosphors should be the major target of water treatment. However, water quality management strategy in Korea is still stream-oriented, and focused on BOD removal from sewage. Phosphorus removal efficiency remains as low as 10-30%, because biological treatment is adopted for both secondary treatment and advanced treatment. The standard for TP concentration of the sewage treatment plant effluent is 6 mgP/l in most of regions, and 2 mg/l in enforced region near metropolitan water intake point. TP in the effluents of sewage treatment plants are usually 1-2 mg/1, and most of plants meet the effluent regulation without a further phosphorus removal process. The generous TP standard for effluents discourages further efforts to improve phosphorus removal efficiency of sewage treatment. Considering that TP standard for the effluent is below 0.1 mg/l in some countries, it should be amended to below 0.1 mg/l in Korea, especially in the watershed of large lakes.2) Urban runoff and combined sewer overflow are not treated, even though their total loading into lakes can be comparable to municipal sewage discharges on dry days. Chemical coagulation and rapid settling might be the solution to urban runoff in regard of intermittent operation on only rainy days.3) Aggregated precipitation in Korea that is concentrated on several episodic heavyrains per year causes a large amount of nonpoint source pollution loading into lakes. It makes the treatment of nonpoint source discharge by methods of other countries of even rain pattern, such as retention pond or artificial wetland, impractical in Korea.4) The application rate of fertilizers in Korea is ten times as high as the average ofOECD countries. The total manure discharge from animal farming is thought to be over the capacity of soil treatment in Korea. Even though large portion of manure is composted for organic fertilizer, a lot of nutrients and organic matter emanates from organic compost. The reduction of application rate and discharge rate of phosphorus from agricultural fields should be encouraged by incentives and regulations.5) There is a lot of vegetable fields with high slopes in the upstream region of the HanRiver. Soil erosion is severe due to high slopes, and fertilizer is discharged in the form of adsorbed phosphorus on clay surface. The reduction of soil erosion in the upland area should be the major preventive policy for eutrophication. Uplands of high slope must be recovered to forest, and eroded gullies should be reformed into grass-buffered natural streams which are wider and resistant to bank erosion.
The issue presented in this paper are as follows: 1. Legislative actions of welfare-related law for the exceptional children. The legislative base for the evolution has been yet weak and ambigous at best for a formalization of what should be considered accepted practice and effective action in providing handicapped child and their parents educational rights and equal protection of the law. And they are under remote control of partial factor subject to social welfare law for children, and public law for education, promotion law for the exceptional child education, protection law for public aids. 2. Organization of government for the welfare services for the exceptional children. There is no sing of a push toward consolidation of effort for the welfare service of the exceptional children in this country that seeks to recapture a sense of unity, of coherence, of completeness from a reality made up of discontinuous fragments of humanitarian effora This presently that. as for the education of the exceptional child, by the section of the exceptional education in MOE (Ministry of Education), and/or as for welfare services and promotion actions, by the section of child welfare in MHSA (Ministry of Health and Social Affairs). One door type operation rooted in the specialization, and limited resources to evolve multi-purpose agencies that undertake to provide a broad range of tangible and concrete services, as well as supportive counselling and assessment, under a single management which plans and directs the allocations of resources, should be followed. 3. Facilities and recruitment of teachers for the exceptional children. In this country there are 54 facilities for special services, 56 schools for the exceptional education, and 3 colleges and equavalents that provide teacher training services leading to certification with IIO annual graduates. However, curriculum for exceptional children should be rearranged and reconstructed. Conclusion; Only as for social welfare institutions in community, this country produced a succession of specific purpose activities, over period of time, that accumulated to form the present network of hundreds of social welfare organizations and facilities Periodically major efforts were launched to revitalize or to improve the help-giving system. But they lack specialization to be effective, and the nature of multi-purpose center tends to be vague for the classified handicapped. Therefore, there, should be linkage between policy maker and community services to maintain some coherenty in preventive care, treatment, and after cares. At last, the effects of the current concept "the exceptional child" involved with their families, and their neighborhood should be considered in view of the people who consist about 25% of the total population.
This study looked for ways to carry out development projects in a sustainable manner by generating improvement plans, and focused on reviewing the status and problems associated with the environmental and ecological planning that is currently applied to new town and large-scale development projects. Improved methods were suggested based on differences between urban development and housing development projects. Based on principles set for the introduction of environmental and ecological planning, the size of the projects subject to environmental and ecological planning was set. With regard to the procedural improvements for environmental and ecological planning, nine problems were singled out from the development planning phases. Solutions were suggested by separating the problems into the site and district designation phase, development planning phase, implementation planning phase, and post-management phase based on a literature review and the opinion of experts. In consideration of improvements to the planning system, the scope of environmental and ecological planning was set after looking at information related to environmental and ecological planning, literature review, expert interviews, and the relevance of related plans. The scope of the environmental and ecological planning was divided into the overview of planning, environmental and ecological conception, conception of spatial structure and framework, and urban environment regeneration and impact reduction plans. By synthesizing the above-described results, the functions of environmental and ecological planning, development planning, and environmental assessment and their inter-relations were defined. The defined inter-relations seem likely to be developed into a form that would enable sustainable land development.
As commercial use of genetic resources increases in modern society, calls for fair and equitable sharing of the benefits thereof have become increasingly prominent, particularly from developing countries. As a result, negotiations have been ongoing for the "International Regime on Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS)" for genetic resources as a successor to the non-binding Bonn Guideline. 2010 has been set as the target date for the Agreement. As South Korea is more likely to be a user country of genetic resources, it will be necessary for it to take part in the negotiating process and contribute to creating the International Regime on ABS, to ensure both appropriate access to genetic resources and fair and equitable sharing of the benefits arising there from. To develop appropriate response strategies for South Korea, it is critical not only to closely examine the negotiations within the framework of the CBD but also to engage in discussions within thescope of related international organizations and domestic legislation. To achieve this goal, it is imperative for South Korea to form a comprehensive Government Response System, composed of relevant governmental bodies including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Ministry of Environment, etc.
SMEs need a strategy to respond to rapid changes in the global business environment of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In order to overcome such a business environment, SMEs must concentrate on the core competency. Because of the structural characteristics of SMEs, government support is very important, as it is difficult for SMEs to carry out the entire supply chain role. The support of GRIs is very important for ensuring competitiveness through technological innovation of SMEs. Recently, the construction of SMEs network for business expansion is demanded. SMEs can form networks to induce synergistic effects. In order to secure the competitiveness of SMEs by utilizing the advantages of mutually cooperating networks, the necessity of cooperation of SMEs is increasing. The government has proposed various support programs to support network cooperation. In this research, in order to derive an effective strategy of the SME support program, we analyzed the difference in necessity and satisfaction of the GRIs support program. We analyze the differences between government policies and perceptions for SMEs and to derive strategies for supporting SMEs in a systematic approach for the development of SMEs. In a situation where research to revitalize SMEs is insufficient, in consideration of the market demand of SMEs, we grasp the problems of the current system and try to guide improvement strategies. Also, we suggest policies that can derive and utilize support strategies for SMEs. From a long-term perspective, research related SMEs must be conducted and a sustainable support program for SMEs must be developed.
