This paper reviews the relationships between diverse ecological design strategies and competing conceptions of ecological approach in place making. It focuses conceptual trends of what we categorize a building "green" and outlines a social constructive perspective on the development of sustainable architecture. This study classifies seven logics of ecological design-eco-technical, eco-aesthetical, eco-social, eco-medical, eco-renewable, eco-cultural, eco-central - which have their roots in competing philosophies of environmentalism. In my analysis of the logics concerning sustainable architecture, the adapted and incorporated technology from high-tech to low-tech levels is a key issue. These points lead us to propose a way that each logic configures the technological approaches and alternative visions of sustainable places. This paper discusses the implications of the competent nature of plural ecological design perspectives for architectural education, practice, and researches.

Various M2M applications have different quality-of-service(QoS) requirements to be implemented practically. QoS requirements are normally data rate and delay constraint. However, there are limited number of wireless communication chip solutions which cannot support QoS requirements for all M2M application. Hence, aggregated usage of plural wireless communication chip solutions should be needed to implement M2M applications. In this paper, we consider the case that two wireless communication chips using random access protocol work together to transmit data of an M2M application. In such case, data rate and delay performance are mathematically analyzed. In our results, practical data rate can be improved from 2.5 to 7 times while delay constraints are satisfied if we simply use two wireless communication chips together.

Recently Renku (Haikai no Renga) is getting popular as well as Haiku in Japan. It was built up by Basho Matsuo, who was the most famous Haiku poet. It is said that Kyoshi Takahama proposed the name of "Renku" to distinguish it from "Renga" and "Haiku" in 1904. Renku meetings are held like Haiku ones regularly now in each place, and in several universities, they conduct a class exercise of Renku continuously. It is very important for plural persons to work together cooperatively. Poetry, Tanka, Haiku and Renku are usually composed of only letters. It sometimes happens that we add pictures to make them more attractive and to aim at synergy by collaboration (letters and pictures). However, the study to produce 3DCG animations of Renku has not been reported very much. Sowe studied to produce 3DCG animations work based on the rule of Renku and its evaluation.

In this paper, we use U-Mart that is an agent-based artificial market model. U-Mart is more open than the other artificial market, because In U-Mart, not only computer program agents, but also human agents are able to participate in the market. Therefore, the market in U-Mart gets closer to the real markets and the agents that participate in the market make the complex decision. Moreover we expand to the number of brand to plural. This expansion causes to appear the several strategies to make a profit. As one of this example, we treat the portfolio and confirm the possibility of getting the constancy to make portfolio.

This purpose of this study was about the analysis on the dynamic expression of geometric manipulation in interior composition elements. The paradigm of contemporary times became different from paradigm of modern times. The change of paradigm is caused by the side effect of paradigm of pre-times. In the contemporary architectural condition, architecture have a tendency to plural characteristics. This study investigates systemically ‘the DYNAMISM’ as a part of contemporary interior space's feature, based on geometric manipulation in interior composition elements. In outdoor visible light communication channels and LED road illumination communications for the intelligent transport systems (ITS), inter symbol interference (ISI) due to multipath propagation prevents high data rate transmission. Indoor wireless optical communication systems utilizing white LED lights and on the road illumination have been studying about it. Generally, plural lights are installed in room and considered to the traffic information system using existing LED traffic lights. Therefore, their optical path difference must be considered. In this paper, the influence of an optical path difference has been investigated and two approaches against this problem are introduced. One uses on-off keying, return-to-zero (OOK-RZ) coding and the other uses optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM).

Future electric lights will be composed of white LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). Indoor wireless optical communication systems utilizing white LED lights have been studying about it. Generally, plural lights are installed in room. Therefore, their optical path difference must be considered. In this paper, the influence of an optical path difference has been investigated and two approaches against this problem are introduced. One uses OOK-RZ (On-Off Keying, Return-to-Zero) coding and the other uses optical OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing). From the results of computer simulations, we have found that these approaches are feasible for the wireless optical communication systems utilizing white LED lights.

The main problems in structural analysis by Finite Eelement Method are difficulty in making data file and error estimation. For decreasing these problems' pays. have been suggesting the adaptive mesh refinement and error estimation method. Posteriory error estimation methods suggested by Jang[1], Babuska[2,3], Ohtsubo[8,9], and this paper. Comparing these methods and examine their properties. According this paper, In the problem supposed having singularity, the method suggested by this paper is good, But the problem supposed having no singularity, the method suggested by Jang[1] is good. For decreasing the effect of initial mesh in p-refinement, make application h-refinement at first and apply p-refinement, and confine polynomial's degree to two, for making program simply by plural mesh models are not needed.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and evaluate the menu served in business & industry contract foodservice by assessing nutritional value and by using menu-engineering technique from managers' view point. CAN-Pro program and Kasavana k Smith's Menu Engineering technique were used to evaluate the nutritional value and menu analysis, respectively. The data were analyzed using the SAS package program for descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation Analysis. As the result of nutritional value of lunch menu, all nutrient contents per meal were higher than a third of Korean recommended dietary allowances(RDA), But there was no problem when 20∼30% of plate waste was considered. Carbohydrate : Protein fat ratio was 62.7 : 16.4 : 20.8. Because animal : vegetable source ratios of protein, fat, calcium, iron were 44 : 56, 42 : 58, 22 : 78, 24 : 76, respectively, animal sources of calcium and iron needed to be supplemented. Plural set menus of A site were classified as STAR, PUZZLE, PLOWHORSE, DOG by Menu engineering technique. Set menus and soups & pot-stews among cafeteria menus in C site were operated properly without DOG and PUZZLE item. Side dishes of fishes, meats 8t eggs among cafeteria menus in C site were, for the most part, classified as STAR item, and side dishes of vegetables & salads and noodles among cafeteria menus in C site were STAR, PUZZLE, and DOG items. In this study, a spiral valve which is used with a cryogenic linear expander and composed of plural plate coil shapes was examined. Generally, a spiral valve is well known for having excellent efficiency and low noise characteristics. In order to determine the movement characteristics and to investigate the limit of valve displacement, the stress variations according to the changes of operating pressure, displacement and workable temperature are discussed. From this examination, it is considered that the results of this study will significantly facilitate the design and development of a spiral valve for the cryogenic linear expander.
