3D CAD 데이터 기반의 제조기업 지원서비스를 위한 소프트웨어 플랫폼 설계 (Design of a Software Platform to Support Manufacturing Enterprises Using 3D CAD Data)

  • Most manufacturing enterprises create CAD data as a result of the product/part design process; however, the CAD data is being utilized only for production activities. Besides the processes directly related to manufacturing such as design and production, the CAD data is an important resource that can be used in variety of services (e.g., catalog production and production manuals) for manufacturing enterprises. This study proposes a software platform that can support a wide range of services for manufacturing companies in an efficient and productive way. The software platform was designed based on the functions identified by requirement analysis. The platform consists of four layers: data model layer to manage relevant data; library layer and common function layer to configure services; and application layer to install and run the software. Finally, this study evaluates the validity of the proposed platform architecture by applying it to the digital catalog system.

박물관 문화상품을 위한 플랫폼의 상호경험디자인에 대한연구 -선양고궁박물관을 중심으로 (Research on the Interactive Experience Design of Museum Cultural Product Customization Platform -Focusing on Shenyang Palace Museum)

  • 박물관 문화 콘텐츠의 혁신적 개발은 박물관이 소장품을 이용하여 문화의 전파 기능을 강화하는 중요한 방법이다. 사람들의 소비 수준이 늘어나고 업그레이드화됨에 따라 전통적인 문화 콘텐츠 디자인과 판매 방식은 날로 늘어나는 소비자들의 욕구를 충족시키지 못하고 있다. 본고는 박물관 문화 콘텐츠의 맞춤형 체험 플랫폼 구축을 제안하여 박물관 문화 콘텐츠의 개발을 촉진하고 박물관 문화의 전승과 보호를 도모하려 한다. 본고의 연구방법은 선행연구를 정리하고 분석하여 기존의 플랫폼 모델과 특징을 분석하고 설문지 159부를 배포하여 문화 콘텐츠 소비자들의 욕구를 조사하였다. 마지막으로 사용자 요구에 따른 맞춤형 체험과 현존하는 인터넷 소매 플랫폼과 결합하여 이론적 틀을 만들었으며 선양 고궁박물관을 중심으로 실험을 설계하고 가용성 테스트를 진행했다. 연구결과를 보면 문화 콘텐츠 플랫폼에 대한 사용자의 수요도가 비교적 높았다. 맞품형 플랫폼을 이용한 디자인은 박물관 문화 콘텐츠의 확산과 확대를 촉진하며 사용자의 경험을 최적화하여 박물관의 콘텐츠 개발과 디자인, 소매 등에 새로운 생각을 부여한다. 따라서 본고는 박물관의 문화 콘텐츠 개발은 맞춤형 플랫폼에 따라 소비자들의 특성에 맞춰 소비자들의 서비스 경험을 더욱 향상할 것으로 기대한다.

  • A force reflecting hand controller can be used to provide more realistic information to the operator of a teleoperation system such as kinesthetic feedback from a slave robot. In this paper, a new design concept of a force reflecting 6-DOF hand controller utilizing the kinematic structure of a Stewart Platform is presented. Based on the optimal design technique of a Stewart Platform, a force reflecting hand controller has been designed and constructed to verify the technical feasibility of proposed design concept. In order to provide an operator with kinesthetic feedback information, a force mapping algorithm based on a reciprocal product of screws has been introduced. Finally, the technical feasibility of the design concept has been demonstrated through some of experimental results of the device under virtual environment on a real-time graphic system.

크라우드펀딩을 위한 패션제품 창업교육과정 개발 (제I보) -와디즈(Wadiz) 보상형 크라우드펀딩을 중심으로- (Development of Fashion Product Entrepreneurship Education Process for Crowdfunding (Part I) -Focusing on Wadiz Rewards-based Crowdfunding-)

  • This study proposes an entrepreneurship education process for fashion product start-ups through rewards-based crowdfunding. It examines issues such as: the general concept of crowdfunding and the pros and cons of rewards-based crowdfunding, the detailed curriculum plans in a chronological order for the regular class development, and the presentation of a visual plan to show the whole process. An entrepreneurship education process is developed in 13 steps: research on crowdfunding market, prototype plan, prototype production, story development, visual contents development, rewards development, project evaluation, public schedule & service setting, period setting & start funding, community management (Q&A), funding ends & deposit, complete manufacturing & start delivering, and the final information disclosure & open the next project plan. This research is intended to investigate rewards-based crowdfunding as a new paradigm of entrepreneurship and apply entrepreneurship education in fashion product development. However, it is limited to studying the Wadiz crowdfunding platform in Korea. Therefore, we propose a case study on various crowdfunding platforms in Korea, a case study on entrepreneurial curriculum application, and a follow-up study on the possibility of entry into an overseas crowdfunding platform.

Identification of Demand Type Differences and Their Impact on Consumer Behavior: A Case Study Based on Smart Wearable Product Design

  • Thorough understanding of user demands and formulation of product development strategies are crucial in product design, and can effectively stimulate consumer behavior. Scientific categorization and classification of demands contribute to accurate design development, design efficiency, and success rates. In recent years, e-commerce has become important consumption platforms for smart wearable products. However, there are few studies on product design and development among those related to promoting platform product services and sales. Meanwhile, design strategies focusing on real consumer needs are scarce among smart wearable product design studies. Therefore, an empirical consumer demand analysis method is proposed and design development strategies are formulated based on a categorized interpretation of demands. Using representative smart bracelets from wearable smart products as a case, this paper classifies consumer demands with three methods: big data semantic analysis, KANO model analysis, and satisfaction analysis. The results reveal that analysis methods proposed herein can effectively classify consumer demands and confirm that differences in consumer demand categories have varying impacts on consumer behavior. On this basis, corresponding design strategies are proposed based on four categories of consumer demands, aiming to make product design the leading factor and promote consumer behavior on e-commerce platforms. This research further enriches demand research on smart wearable products on e-commerce platforms, and optimizes products from a design perspective, thereby promoting consumption. In future research, different data analysis methods will be tried to compare and analyze changes in consumer demands and influencing factors, thus improving research on impact factors of product design in e-commerce.

Analytic Network Process에 기초한 제품가족 디자인 (Product Family Design based on Analytic Network Process)

  • 오늘날 글로벌한 경쟁에서 고객의 만족도를 유지하고 생산성과 효율을 높이기 위해서 대량맞춤(mass customization)이 많은 선도기업에서 채택되고 있다. 대량맞춤은 제품가족과 제품 플랫폼에 근거하여 기업으로 하여금 새로운 제품을 유연하고 효율적이며 고객 요구에 신속히 대응하는 것을 용이하게 한다. 따라서 제품 플랫폼에 기반한 제품가족 전략이 대량맞춤을 실현화하는데 적절한 방법이다. 제품가족이란 다양한 시장의 요구를 충족하기 위해서 공통의 특성, 구성부품, 서브 시스템을 공유하는 일련의 유사한 제품군으로 정의된다. 이 연구의 목표는 제품가족 설계 전략을 이용하여 고객의 요구를 충족시키는 제품의 구성부품간의 우선순위를 찾아내고자 하는 것이다. 신 제품 개발을 위한 의사결정 과정은 피드백을 가지는 다 변량 의사결정 모형을 필요로 한다. 이를 위해서 분석적 네트워크 과정(analytic network process) 방법을 이용하여 의사결정 모델과 절차를 수립하였다. 구현을 위해서 제품가족 모델에 적합한 소형 PC인 넷북 제품을 선정하고, 각 제품가족에 대한 구성부품에 대하여 제안된 방법에 따라서 우선순위를 도출하였다. 구현결과를 QFD 모델을 이용하여 고객요구사항과 구성부품간의 관계를 분석하고 평가하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 ICT(Information Communication Technology) 기술을 이용하여 스마트팩토리 기반 CPPS(Cyber Pysical Production System)를 활용한 Digital-Twin 플랫폼 개발과 관련된 연구를 제안한다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 플랫폼은 선행 제조 공정 계획 단계부터 BOP(Bill of Process) 관리 기능을 포함하여 P3R(Product, Process, Plant, Resource)을 연계한 3D Model 시뮬레이션 기능을 수행한다. 또한 생산 공정, 설비, 레이아웃, 생산량 예측이 가능한 Digital Twin 플랫폼을 제안한다. 본 논문을 통해 제안된 플랫폼은 초기 계획 설계 단계에서부터 제조, 생산, 운영 및 유지보수 단계까지의 전체 스마트팩토리 제조 공정을 관리할 수 있는 특징을 제안하였다.

3D 프린팅 서비스 기반 개인제조를 지원하는 확장 제품자료관리 시스템 (An Extended Product Data Management System Supporting Personal Manufacturing Based on Connected Consumer 3D Printing Services)

  • The low price around 1000 USD makes consumer 3D printers as a new additive manufacturing platform for the personal manufacturing where consumers can make and sell their own products. To allow the consumers to design and manufacture their products, not only economic 3D printers but also supporting information systems for their design and manufacturing are essential. This study suggests an extended product data management (PDM) system that can support both the design and manufacturing of personal products with consumer 3D printing services. This extended PDM system helps consumer designers use advanced PDM technologies for their design and connected 3D printing services with Internet of Things (IoT) technology for realization of their products. As a result, the proposed system supports the consumer designers a seamless integrated product development and manufacturing environment supported by PDM and consumer 3D printing services.

플랫폼 정부 연구의 탐색적 분석 (Exploratory Analysis of Platform Government Research)

  • Purpose: We present a scientometric review of the literature on platform government to serve three primary purposes: First, to cluster researches on platform government based on the research issues; second, to identify the major papers, authors, and keywords in the domain; and third, to explore the promising research areas of platform government. Design/methodology/approach: We collected the platform government research from Web of Science, and analyzed 1,536 articles that was published during time span of 1998-2019. Next, co-citation networks are constructed and analyzed by using CiteSpace to visualize the domain clusters and dynamic research trends in the platform government domain. Findings: We identified 13 sub areas of the platform government research: global investigation, consumer product quality, digital agora, civic crowd funding, and open data use etc. We also visualize the top 20 references with the strongest citation bursts, co-authors network, co-occurring keyword network, and timeline of co-citation clusters.

크라우드펀딩 참여와 구전의도에 대한 실증적 분석 : 플랫폼 신뢰를 중심으로 (Empirical Analysis of Participation and Word of Mouth Intention of Reward-based Crowdfunding: Focusing on Platform Trust)

  • Purpose Even if many startups firms have developed innovative items and a potential for success, they often have a limited financial resources, which makes them difficult to do business. To overcome this financial difficulty, startups have used one of fintech services, called crowdfunding that can be a good alternative to solving the difficulty of financing. The purpose of this study is to empirically validate the proposed research model that investigates the reasons of trusting crowdfunding platform, which positively leads to two outcomes - intention to participate and word-of-mouth for reward-based crowdfunding project. Design/methodology/approach We proposed several factors categorized as trust, information quality, and platform traits that have a positive impact on trust of crowdfunding platform, which positively leads to intention to participate and word-of-mouth of crowdfunding. The collected(n=285) from individuals who have participated in crowdfunding project was analyzed with SmartPLS 3.0 to test proposed hypotheses. Findings The results showed that all proposed variables (website reputation, crowdfunding familiarity, digital storytelling, information quality, and interaction) had a significant impact on crowfunding platform trust with exception of product differentiation. In addition, crowfunding platform trust was positively associated with participating intention and word-of-mouth. Based on findings, we discussed the research results and implication alone with a direction for future studies.
