Investigations of large commercial aircraft impact effect on nuclear power plant (NPP) buildings have been drawing extensive attentions, particularly after the 9/11 event, and this paper aims to experimentally assess the damage and vibrations of NPP buildings subjected to aircraft crash. In present Part I, two shots of reduce-scaled model test of aircraft impacting on NPP building were carried out. Firstly, the 1:15 aircraft model (weighs 135 kg) and RC NPP model (weighs about 70 t) are designed and prepared. Then, based on the large rocket sled loading test platform, the aircraft models were accelerated to impact perpendicularly on the two sides of NPP model, i.e., containment and auxiliary buildings, with a velocity of about 170 m/s. The strain-time histories of rebars within the impact area and acceleration-time histories of each floor of NPP model are derived from the pre-arranged twenty-one strain gauges and twenty tri-axial accelerometers, and the whole impact processes were recorded by three high-speed cameras. The local penetration and perforation failure modes occurred respectively in the collision scenarios of containment and auxiliary buildings, and some suggestions for the NPP design are given. The maximum acceleration in the 1:15 scaled tests is 1785.73 g, and thus the corresponding maximum resultant acceleration in a prototype impact might be about 119 g, which poses a potential threat to the nuclear equipment. Furthermore, it was found that the nonlinear decrease of vibrations along the height was well reflected by the variations of both the maximum resultant vibrations and Cumulative Absolute Velocity (CAV). The present experimental work on the damage and dynamic responses of NPP structure under aircraft impact is firstly presented, which could provide a benchmark basis for further safety assessments of prototype NPP structure as well as inner systems and components against aircraft crash.

The CAT methodology is a numerical analysis technique using CAE. Recently, a methodology of applying artificial intelligence techniques to a simulation has been studied. A previous study compared the deformation results according to the injection molding process using a machine learning technique. Although MLP has excellent prediction performance, it lacks an explanation of the decision process and is like a black box. In this study, data was generated using Autodesk Moldflow 2018, an injection molding analysis software. Several Machine Learning Algorithms models were developed using RapidMiner version 9.5, a machine learning platform software, and the root mean square error was compared. The decision-tree showed better prediction performance than other machine learning techniques with the RMSE values. The classification criterion can be increased according to the Maximal Depth that determines the size of the Decision-tree, but the complexity also increases. The simulation showed that by selecting an intermediate value that satisfies the constraint based on the changed position, there was 7.7% improvement compared to the previous simulation.
This study analyzed how K-MOOC was used and identify the academic achievements in higher education. The participants who completed the survey questionnaire were composed of 379 students who were in curriculum-related extra-curriculum using K-MOOC. Results show that the participation rate in individual learning activities was high, thus indicating the activities were perceived positively. In addition, students perceived positively their academic achievements of receiving, valuing, and responding in affective area, as well as synthesis and evaluation of knowledge in cognitive area. Students were also satisfied that they had no psychological burden to the credit of the course and they could take a course from another college. By contrast, platform instability, too much online content, and tedious activities in the lessons were perceived negatively. Nonetheless, the group assessment results suggested that the students taking a course related to their major had further engagement in discussions, and their academic achievement was higher. Based on the foregoing findings, the study proposed developing a subject matter with various theme, utilization plans, interaction reinforcement, and quality management by supporting instructional design strategies in order to expand the use of K-MOOC both as a general education and a major curriculum. The results obtained in this study represent baseline data that may assist in the decision making for university system and operation plan.

Non Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) is a technology to guarantee the explosively increased Quality of Service(QoS) of users in 5G networks. NOMA can remove the frequent orthogonality in Orthogonal Multiple Access (OMA) while allocating the power differentially to classify user signals. NOMA can guarantee higher communication speed than OMA. However, the NOMA has one disadvantage; it consumes a more energy power when the distance increases. To solve this problem, relay nodes are employed to implement the cooperative NOMA control idea. In a cooperative NOMA network, relay node participations for cooperative communications are essential. In this paper, a new bandwidth allocation scheme is proposed for cooperative NOMA platform. By employing the idea of Vickrey-Clarke-Groves (VCG) mechanism, the proposed scheme can effectively prevent selfishly actions of relay nodes in the cooperative NOMA network. Especially, base stations can pay incentives to relay nodes as much as the contributes of relay nodes. Therefore, the proposed scheme can control the selfish behavior of relay nodes to improve the overall system performance.

This study was performed to investigate the ecosystem service patterns in relation to climate change acceleration utilizing big data analysis. This study aimed to use big data analysis as one of the network of views to identify convergent thinking in two fields: climate change and ecosystem service. The keywords were analysed to ascertain if there were any differences in the perceiving problems, policy direction, climate change implications, and regional differences. In addition, we examined the research keywords of each continent, the centre of ecosystem service research, and the topics to be referred to in domestic research. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, the keyword centrality of climate change is similar to the detailed indicators of The Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) regulations, content, and non-material ecosystem services. Second, the cross-analysis of terms in two journals showed a difference in value-oriented point; the Ecosystem Service Journal identified green infrastructure as having economic value, whereas the Climate Change Journal perceives water, forest, carbon, and biodiversity as management topics. The Climate Change Journal, but not the former, focuses on future predictions. Third, the analysis of the research topics according to continents showed that water and soil are closely related to the economy, and thus, play an important role in policy formulation. This disparity is due to differences in each continent's environmental characteristics, as well as economic and policy issues. This fact can be used to refer to the direction of research on ecosystem services in Korea. Consistent with the recent trend of expanding research regarding the impacts of climate change, it is necessary to study strategies to scientifically predict and respond to the negative effects of climate change.

This study presented the factor analysis on constructing the new factors affecting the middle school students' online learning behaviors from the questionnaires employed among middle school students. A total of 204 students participated and the data were collected in South Korea. The sample of middle school ninth-grade students was selected and used through purposive sampling. Findings from the factor analysis provided evidence for the eight-factor solution for the 35-items accounting for 66.15% of the shared variance. A wide range of factors has been considered to identify students' online learning behaviors. The appropriate experience and use of e-learning in the middle school period is also important as it will be a critical stepstone for future education. This research provides information that has been taken into account for advancing online learning to enhance the quality of e-learning systems for middle school students. The study results provided eight new factors affecting the middle school students' online learning behaviors; that is 1) communication using social media as a learning tool, 2) intention to share information using ICT, 3) addiction of technology, 4) adoption of technology, 5) seeking information using ICT, 6) use of social media learning, 7) information search using ICT, and 8) immersion of technology. This study confirmed that middle school students prefer communication using social media as a learning tool, and value intention to share information using ICT for the most part. The data obtained based on factor analysis can highlight the online learning behaviors towards a mixture of social media learning and ICT to ensure a new educational platform for the future of e-learning. This research expects to be useful for both middle schools of online learning to better understand students' online learning behaviors and design online learning environments and information professionals to better assist students who particularly need digital literacy.

The purpose of this study was to assess the perception of e-book subscription services among the digitally native generation in their twenties, who have a high e-book usage rate. This study employed a mixed-methods approach, combining survey responses and usability testing. It aimed to assess the awareness and usage of e-book subscription services among university students in their twenties, a demographic known for their high utilization of electronic devices and e-books. The survey was conducted among 202 university students, and the responses were categorized and examined based on whether they were users or non-users. As a result of the survey, I found there is different awareness of e-book between users and non-users, on the other hand, convenience and portability are the strong point of e-books for users and non-users commonly also. Usability testing was performed on a group of 10 university students in their twenties who had not previously used the 'Millies Library' application, which is renowned as the most widely-used e-book platform. Following the experiment, participants expressed positive feedback regarding various optional features, convenience, design, and cost-effectiveness. However, they also had negative reactions concerning touch errors, malfunctions, functional practicality, a lack of interest, system issues, and the absence of a library.
At the present time when the need for universal artificial intelligence education is expanding and job changes are being made, research and discussion on artificial intelligence liberal arts education for non-majors in universities who experience artificial intelligence as part of their job is insufficient. Although artificial intelligence education courses for non-majors are being operated, they are mainly operated as theory-oriented education on the concepts and principles of artificial intelligence. In order to understand the general concept of artificial intelligence for non-majors, it is necessary to proceed with experiential learning in parallel. Therefore, this study designs artificial intelligence experiential education learning contents of difficulty that can reduce the burden of artificial intelligence classes with interest in learning by considering the characteristics of non-majors. After, we will examine the learning effect of experiential education using App Inventor and the Orange artificial intelligence platform. As a result of analysis based on the learning-related data and survey data collected through the creation of AI-related projects by teams, positive changes in the perception of the need for AI education were found, and AI literacy skills improved. It is expected that it will serve as an opportunity for instructors to lay the groundwork for designing a learning model for artificial intelligence experiential education learning.

Digital twin technology, which copies information from real space into virtual space, is being used in a variety of fields.Interest in digital twins is increasing, especially in advanced manufacturing fields such as Industry 4.0-based smart manufacturing. Operating a digital twin system generates a large amount of data, and the data generated has different characteristics depending on the technology field, so it is necessary to efficiently manage resources and use an optimized digital twin platform technology. Research on digital twin pipelines has continued, mainly in the advanced manufacturing field, but research on high-speed pipelines suitable for data in the plant field is still lacking. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a pipeline design method that is specialized for digital twin data in the plant field that is rapidly poured through Apache Kafka. The proposed model applies plant information on a Revit basis. and collect plant-specific data through Apache Kafka. Equipped with a lightweight CFD engine, it is possible to create a digital twin model that is more suitable for the plant field than existing digital twin technology for the manufacturing field.

Ships tend to be larger to increase the efficiency of cargo transportation. Larger ships lead to increased travel time for ship workers, increased work intensity, and reduced work efficiency. Problems such as increased work intensity are reducing the influx of young people into labor, along with the phenomenon of avoidance of high intensity labor by the younger generation. In addition, the rapid aging of the population and decrease in the young labor force aggravate the labor shortage problem in the maritime industry. To overcome this, the maritime industry has recently introduced technologies such as an intelligent production design platform and a smart production operation management system, and a smart autonomous logistics system in one of these technologies. The smart autonomous logistics system is a technology that delivers various goods using intelligent mobile robots, and enables the robot to drive itself by using sensors such as lidar and camera. Therefore, in this paper, it was checked whether the mobile robot could autonomously drive to the stop sign by detecting the passage way of the ship deck. The autonomous driving was performed by detecting the passage way of the ship deck through the camera mounted on the mobile robot based on the data learned through Nvidia's End-to-end learning. The mobile robot was stopped by checking the stop sign using SSD MobileNetV2. The experiment was repeated five times in which the mobile robot autonomously drives to the stop sign without deviation from the ship deck passage way at a distance of about 70m. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the mobile robot was driven without deviation from passage way. If the smart autonomous logistics system to which this result is applied is used in the marine industry, it is thought that the stability, reduction of labor force, and work efficiency will be improved when workers work.
