  • 여러 장의 입력 영상으로부터 3차원 형상 정보를 복원하는 기법은 크게 스테레오(stereo) 기법과 각선 기반 방법으로 나누어져 있다. 특히 복셀 기반 방법은 스테레오 기법에서의 대응점 문제를 극복하고 가리어짐 현상이나 컬러의 변화가 적은 영역에서의 현상 복원 능력이 우수한 것으로 알려져 있지만 광학적 외피(photo hull) 이라는 근본적인 복원 한계성을 가진다. Photo hull은 바라보는 카메라의 위치에 크게 의존하는 성질을 보인다. 조건에 맞는 최적의 카메라 위치를 결정하는 것을 시점 계획(view planning)이라 고 하고 거리 영상(range images)로부터 형상을 복원하는 기법에 활발히 연구되어져 왔다. 본 논문에서는 복셀 기반 방법에서의 단점인 photo hull을 줄이기 위해 최적의 시점을 선택하는 시점 계획(view planning)에 대한 알고리듬을 제안하고 photo hull의 효과를 최소로 하여 형상이 복원되는 것을 실험을 통해 검증한다.

저속시 활주형 레저보트의 단면형상에 따른 저항·내항성능 특성연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of Motion and Resistance Performance from the Body Plan of Planning Leisure boat at low speed)

  • In this study, the numerical simulation and basin model test have been performed to evaluate sea worthiness and resistance performance for a small pre-planning three type of leisure boats which are U, V, Y shapes of hull forms. As a well known commercial CFD code, Maxsurf, was applied for modeling hull forms used as the solver of motion analysis. Also the model resistance test was carried out to estimate the effective power of boat in the basin tank. Numerical simulation and model test results show that Y-shaped hull is better than the other types in terms of heave and pitch motion, having a key effect on a boat sea worthiness. But V-type hull is more efficiency than others cases in resistance performance.

초기 신체 구조 모델을 기반으로 한 신체 블록의 물량 정보 생성 및 블록 탑재 시물레이션 (Generation of the Production Material Information of a Building Block and the Simulation of the Block Erection Based on the Initial Hull Structural Model)

  • At the initial design stage, the generation process of the production material information of a building block and the simulation process of the block erection, which are required to perform the production planning and scheduling, have been manually performed using 2D drawings, based on the data of parent ships, and subjective intuition from past experience. To make these processes automatic, the accurate generation method of the production material information and the convenient simulation method of the block erection based on the initial hull structural model(3D CAD model), were developed in this study. Here, the initial hull' structural model was generated from the initial hull structural CAD system early developed by us. To evaluate the developed methods. these methods were applied to corresponding processes of a deadweight 300,OOOton VLCC. As a result. it was shown that the production material information of a building block can be accurately generated and the block erection can be conveniently simulated in the initial design stage.

  • This study was carried out to develope a basic form of planning hull type fishing boat. G/T 10ton class is selected as object hull form, and hull form is designed in Chosun University. A series of test results of LCG variations for 5 different LCG points are presented in this paper. The test was performed in Davidson Laboratory, and the scope of tests include resistance, trim and sinkage.

  • 기존 고속활주선의 마찰저항을 개선하기 위해 선저에 공기층을 형성하게 하는 계단형식의 선형변환이 연구되어 왔다. 그러나 활주선마다 다른 항주자세와 Step의 효과를 확인하기 위해서 적절한 위치에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 Step을 길이방향으로 적용시켰을 때 나타나는 항주자세의 변화, Step의 작용효과 및 마찰저항의 변화를 확인하였다.

Hull Form Design for Baltic Ice Class Aframax Tanker

  • A hull form of Baltic ice class IA Aframax tanker has been developed taking into consideration of powering performance in brash ice channels based on IA class rules. Speed performance of the ship hull form in normal seagoing has been validated through model tests in a towing tank. The hull form design developed in this work has demonstrated good speed performance in normal seagoing although the ship design is entitled to ice class IA.

고속 소형 어선의 기본선행 개발 (Hull form development of the high speed small fishing boat)

  • This study is concerned with the development of the basic planing hull form of small fishing boat in 25 knots high speed. A series of model test to determine the optimum performance hull form of actual fishing boat with 10 gross tonnage was carried out for 5 models made available planing hull form in the circulation water channel. Model test was performed with the resistance test to study the hydrodynamic characteristics of model ships and the sinkage and trim measurement to investigate the stability of model ships and also the wave pattern observation to analyze the effectiveness of model ships. As the result, the planing hull form of P-4 with deep V type bow can be derived as the best hull form with good performance especially in ship's resistance efficiency showing less residual resistance and sinkage and trim and the spray effect, etc..

  • 선박의 선형시험설비로는 회류수조, 예인수조 등이 있으나, 소형 고속선박은 실선 대응 모형선의 축적비가 대형선에 비해 매우 작고 수조의 유속과 예인전차의 속도제한으로 고속선의 설계선속까지의 성능검증에는 한계로 작용하였다. 이에, 고속 활주형선의 선형시험 검증을 위해 실 해상모형시험기법을 정립하였다. 한편, 고속 Stepped Hull선형은 일체형 활주형 선저선형에 비하여 고속 주행시 공기공급에 따른 접수면 감소로 인하여 저항감소에 따른 속도향상과 연비절감 효과가 있으나, 선미 좌우측의 접수면 감소에 따른 횡동요 안정성이 감소되는 경향이 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 고속 선형시험이 가능한 해상모형시험을 이용하여 선미 보조동체 장착 유무에 따른 고속 Stepped Hull 선형의 횡동요 및 저항특성을 비교, 분석한 것이다.

스텝 붙이 활주형 모터보트 선미부가물의 횡요저감효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Anti-rolling Effect of Stem Sub-body in the Stepped-Hull Planing Boat)

  • It is hard to find experimental data for a model test of small high-speed planning boats. It is difficult to verify the performance seen in a model test for a high-speed boat because the ship-model scale-ratio is very small and the flow velocity of the circulating water channel and the X-carriage speed of the towing tank are restricted. Therefore most hull-form designs for high-speed small boats depend on the sea-trial test result for similar boats or evaluation through numerical calculations. This study investigated the anti-rolling effect of the stern sub-body in a 50-knot doss planning boat. To carry out this work, new model test procedures were set up in the actual sea. Using this method, the anti-rolling effect of the stern sub-body was investigated. A stern sub-body attached to a planning boat was proved to be effective in reducing the roll and pitch angle.
