The purpose of this paper is to study on the characteristic of site planning of Hadrian's villa. The whole site planning of Hadrian's villa can be divided by different characteristic four groups(I-IV). It is analysed to the whole site plan of such huge complex and the site planning of partial each group which is organically connected each other. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Hadrian's villa was arranged in adapt to natural condition according to a gentle inclination by topography and terrain of the whole site which many different buildings are oriented towards natural landscape of the site and the site surroundings. 2. The site planning of Hadrian's villa is composed of dividing into four groups as plan segmentalized through various land use plan, considering for territory of functional aspect and direction of axis formed by situation and direction of topography and terrain. 3. The concept of site planning to buildings of Hadrian's villa is composed through each other connection; the first, meeting, crossing and merging with each other from arrangement by several axises, the second, change of direction with as the center a part of corner of buildings and the third, facing or inserting system to side and side, side and a part of corner of building.

The purpose of this study is to grasp the present state of a outdoor space planning and to analysis plan characteristics in based on regional characteristics in Housing complex plan. The analysis result of this study is as follows : first, we know that the right of regional characteristics is appearing variously every research workers. also an analysis about regional characteristics that should be considered in housing complex plan was insufficient. Second, regional characteristics can be classified into 5 factors. These are classified as a context of location, city link, life atmosphere, needs of locals and creation of image. Third, it has originality against other housing complex to graft items connected with 'U contest' on outdoor space planning. Also, it has affirmatively effected on image of Buk-gu and recognition of Dong beyn-dong and Seo beyn-dong. It is get out of the uniform design by a planning based on land and surrounding environment in arrangement and forms. Also residents have the satisfaction and pride in arrangement considering the climate of a region and security of the green space.

The design instruction put in the wood structure construction manual of forest engineering works issued in Japan in 2004 is composed of the introduction, the use and characteristic of wood, investigation, planning, design, and etc. of wood structures. We analyzed the introduction, the use and characteristic of wood, investigation and planning for wood structures. By the results. the contents on the characteristic of wood are shown about physical and chemical properties of wood, the environmental influence, psychological and physiological effects, and rot of wood. The investigation items include the effective degree by flow and insolation, white ant's genital existence, flow conditions of surface water and ground water, situations of flora and fauna to live in mountain stream, the condition of water use, and etc. Also, the contents for the planning are explained for the structure, installation features. treatments, use of wood and lumber in the regions, preservative treatment, and etc.

The Quality Function Deployment(QFD) is a Quality Management technique to maximize customers' satisfaction by reflecting customer requirements into all business processes, including concept definition, product planning, parts planning, process planning, production planning, and sales planning. The basic concept of the QFD is to translate customers' requirements appropriately into engineering characteristics, into parts characteristics, into process characteristics, and into specific requirements and activities in production. In this study, we reviewed and analyzed the application process of the QFD to the development of A2 FATC (Full Automatic Temperature Controller), an automotive component developed and produced by company A. It has been reported that by applying the QFD to the development of A2 FATC, company A. achieved 34% improvement in control robustness quality characteristic, 27% improvement in deviation quality characteristic, and 30% improvement in overall quality characteristics.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the climatic characteristic of South Korea and use it as a fundamental data for planning an environmental housing complex in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The world after the Industrial Revolution has greatly developed economically but falied to notice the importance of the environment. It has been gradually damaged by the reckless exploitation for tens of years, and thus inflicted a loss on human. In this study, necessity and usability of the application of the climatic element for planning the environmental housing complex are to be presented. The data used in this study are given by the Met.

An algorithm is developed to find optimal machining parameters for multiple machining environments. The cutting rate-tool life (R-T) characteristic curve presents the general loci of optima and is useful for the flexible machining operations planning. The R-T characteristic curve for the machining economics prob- lems with linear-logarithmic tool lofe model may be determined by applying sensitivity analysis to log-dual problems. Three cases of the change of machining environments are considered. An end milling example is constructed to illustrate the algorithm.

Information Systems Planning(ISP) has gained considerable interest among researchers and practioners in recent years because of the impact of information systems on organization performance. This study aims at analyzing organizational characteristic factors, information system characteristic factors influencing ISP's performance. The organizational characteristic variables are considered organizational strategy, organizational culture, and managerial leadership. And the IS characteristic variables are considered IS resource and IS strategic role. The ISP's performance variables are measured BP-ISP integration effectiveness and ISP efficiency. For data on the 493 sampled company, a mail survey using a questionnaire was conducted in this study. The following results were obtained. First, there was significant relationship between organizational characteristics and ISP's performance. Specially, organizational strategy and organizational culture affect the both of BP-ISP integration effectiveness and ISP efficiency. Second, there was significant relationship between Information Systems characteristics and ISP's performance. Specially, IS resource and IS strategic role affect ISP efficiency.

This study is aiming to obtain the pabulum of architectural planning about out-patient clinic department in armed force hospital with search. The discussion was about characteristic problems and differentiated planning characteristics of common general hospital, So the conclusion of research is as follows. In army medical facilities, Because of architectural standard of out-patient clinic department about scale of facilities and characteristic in each examination-part is unprepared, it may have to be readied. Out-patient clinic department was become plan to scale about whole 7~8% in hospital to SB hospital in 95 but was planed about 5% of whole scale from PS hospital in 97. When plan hospital, increase of equipment and increase of module size about bed for the convenience of patient or employees are judged for cause in hospital since 97 years than previous hospital in 95.

This study is on the architectural planning of the secondary school for the future. It focuses on principles and directions of the architectural planning. There are two motivations on the change of education paradigm. The one is that educational philosophy changes and the other is that the knowledge based society has come. Now these affection factors put the education paradigm to be changed. These educational paradigm need to be analyzed from constructivism and educational informationage. Lastly, architectural principles and directions were analogized from educational directions. Architectural principles(6 elements) and directions(15 elements) have been proposed in this study. The conclusion of this study, architectural planning of educational facilities must be with those criteria for more characteristic schools and organic schools.

These days business logistics has become one of the very important factors of logistics cost reduction and customer service satisfaction. In order to control business logistics more effectively, many companies must be concerned about logistics performance.This study aims at analyzing information system characteristic and logistics performance. The information system characteristic variables are considered IS resource, IS strategic role. The logistics performance variables are considered logistic cost, customer service.For data on the 301 sampled company, a mail survey using a questionnaire was conducted in this study. The following results were obtained.First, IS characteristic variables were significant for logistics performance. Specially, efficient management of IS manpower and IS planning, present IS were significant for logistics performance. Second, there also were IS manpower and IS planning, present IS that indentifing high logistics performance group and low logistics performance group.
