In this paper, the oscillator type active antenna used as an element of active phased array antenna is designed and fabricated using slot coupling. The radiating element and active circuit are fabricated on each layer respectively and coupled electromagnetically through slot on the ground plane. This structure can solve the problems such as narrow bandwidth of microstrip antenna, spurious radiation by active circuits, and spaces for integration of the feeding circuits which are caused by integrating antennas with oscillator circuits in the same layer. The active antenna in this paper, the oscillation frequency can be tuned linearly by controlling the drain bias voltage of FET. The frequency tuning range is between 12.37 GHz to 12.65 GHz when bias voltage is varied from 3V to 9V, thus frequency tuning bandwidth is 280 MHz (2.24%). The output power of antenna is uniform within 5dB over frequency tuning range. Therefore this active antenna can be used as an element of linear or planar active phased array antennas.
Fluorometholone $(C_{22}H_{29}FO_4)$, M.W. = 376.5, monoclinic, $P2_1$, a = 6.410(4), b = 13.431(3), c = 10.996(3)$\AA$, $\beta$ = 92.81$(3)^{\circ}$, Z = 2, F(000) = 404, T = 292K, $\lambda$(Mo-$K_\alpha$) = 0.7107$\AA$, $\mu$ = 0.57$cm^{-1}$, $D_c$ = 1.32 $g/cm^3$, $D_m$ = 1.31 $g/cm^3$ and final R = 0.032 for 1769 observed reflections. All bond lengths and angles are within normal limits. Ring A is almost planar, B ring has a highly symmetrical chair conformation and C ring is in a distorted chair conformation. Ring D is in a intermediate conformation between 13$\alpha$-14$\beta$-half-chair and 13$\alpha$-envelope. Torsion angle C(16)-C(17)-C(20)-O(20) of $-7.9^{\circ}$ is a lower value than those of $-31.9^{\circ}$ and $-16.5^{\circ}$ for 9-fluoro-6-methylprednisolone I and II respectively.
Pumiceous tuffs occurring in the Beomgockri Group are examined applied-mineralogical characteristics and their controling factors to evaluate their potentials as the adsorption-functional mineral resources. The pumiceous tuffs are diagenetically altered to low-grade zeolitcs and bentonites in the Janggi area. Compositional specialty due to the presence of pumice fragments induces the altered tuffs to exhibit the characteristic adsorption property combined with cation exchange capacity, specific surface area, and acidic pH. Unusual lower pH in the adsorption-functional mineral substances is turned out to be originated from the presence of H-smectite having $H^+$ in the interlayer site of the sheet structure. On account of disordered crystallinity resulting from the exchanged $H^+$ in the interlayer site, the smectite commonly forms crenulated edges in the planar crystal form and exhibits characteristic X-ray diffraction patterns showing comparatively lower intensities of basal spacings including (001) peak than conventional Ca-smectite. Based on the interpretation of paragenetic relations and precursor of the H-smectite, a genetic model of the peculiar clay mineral was proposed. The smectite formation may be facilitated resulting from the precipitation of opal-CT at decreasing pH condition caused by the release of H+ during diagenetic alteration of pumice fragments. Because of the acidic smectite, the low-grade mineral resources from the Beomgockri Group may be applicable to the adsorption industry as the raw materials of acid clays and bed-soil.
Conventional microgyroscopes of vibrating type require resonant frequency tuning of the driving and sensing modes to achieve high sensitivity. These tuning conditions depend on each fabricated microgyroscopes, even though the microgyroscopes are identically designed. A new micromachined resonator, which is applicable to microgyroscopes with self-toning characteristics, is presented. Since the laterally driven two degrees of freedom (2DOF) resonator was designed as a symmetric structure with identical stiffness in two orthogonal axes, the resonator is applicable to vibrating microgyroscopes, which do not need mode tuning. A dynamic model of the resonator was derived considering gyroscopic application. The dynamic model was evaluated by experimental comparison with fabricated resonators. The microgyroscopes were fabricated using a simple 2-mask-process of a single polysilicon layer deposited on an insulator layer. The feasibility of the resonator as a vibrating microgyroscopes with self-tuning capability is discussed. The fabricated resonators of a particular design have process-induced non-uniformities that cause different resonant frequencies. For several resonators, the standard deviations of the driving and sensing frequencies were as high as 1232Hz and 1214Hz, whereas the experimental average detuning frequency was 91.75Hz. The minimum detuned frequency was 68Hz with $0.034mVsec/^{\circ}$ sensitivity. The sensitivity of the microgyroscopes was low due to process-induced non-uniformity; the angular rate bandwidth, however, was wide. This resonator could be successfully applicable to a vibrating microgyroscopes with high sensitivity, if improvements in uniformity of the fabrication process are achieved. Further developments in improved integrated circuits are expected to lower the noise level even more.

Satae cheon, a tributary of the Suip cheon in Yanggu, Gangwon province, is an international river extended to North Korea. Most of drainage basin area of the river was the fierce battle field during the Korean War(1950-1953) and hard to access as it located between the MDL(Military Demarcation Line) and the CCZ(Civilian Control Zone: about 10km south from MDL). By the restriction of access to the sites, most of natural landscape have been well conserved except limited use for military activities. Even the landfoms in that area were not studied, except the government's heritage reports. Satae Cheon's channel follows the Imdang fault line(N-S) to Satae-ri and flow to west to the Dutayeon area. The river meanders along geological structure or weak line at the Dutayeon area. The meandering channel was shorten by the meander cut which linked the thalweg line of meander loop ant the meander neck. As a result of this cut, the river cliff formed by the Satae cheon became the part of newly formed channel bed and the S-forms are formed. After the channel route stabilized, channel incised the rock with large potholes and undulating walls were formed. The channel width changes from 1m to 10m with restriction of the undulating walls, so this part can be regarded as inner channel or inner gorge. From the point of planar forms it also can be slot-type canyon.
We fabricated a buried-ridge waveguide laser diode (B-RWG LD) which has more advantages for obtaining lateral single mode operation on the same ridge width and for the planarization of the device surface, compared to the conventional RWG LD. In this LD, the difference of the lateral effective refractive index can be controlled by the thickness of the InGaAsP layer which is grown on the active and the p-InP layers. The InGaAsP multiple quantum well was grown on a n-InP substrate by the CBE. The buried ridge structure was formed by selective wet etchings, followed by liquid phase epitaxy methods. The fabricated LD with the ridge width of 7 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ showed a linear increase of the optical power up to 20 ㎽ without any kinks and a saturated output power of more than 80 ㎽. By measuring the far field pattern, we demonstrate that LDs with the ridge widths of 5 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and 7 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ were operated in a lateral single mode up to 2.7I$_{th}$ and 2.4I$_{th}$, respectively.ely.

3D-NAND flash memory provides high capacity per unit area by stacking 2D-NAND cells having a planar structure. However, due to the nature of the lamination process, there is a problem that the frequency of error occurrence may vary depending on each layer or physical cell location. This phenomenon becomes more pronounced as the number of write/erase(P/E) operations of the flash memory increases. Most flash-based storage devices such as SSDs use ECC for error correction. Since this method provides a fixed strength of data protection for all flash memory pages, it has limitations in 3D NAND flash memory, where the error rate varies depending on the physical location. Therefore, in this paper, pages and layers with different error rates are classified into clusters through the K-means machine learning algorithm, and differentiated data protection strength is applied to each cluster. We classify pages and layers based on the number of errors measured after endurance test, where the error rate varies significantly for each page and layer, and add parity data to stripes for areas vulnerable to errors to provides differentiate data protection strength. We show the possibility that this differentiated data protection policy can contribute to the improvement of reliability and lifespan of 3D NAND flash memory compared to the protection techniques using RAID-like or ECC alone.

The structures of $Tl_{12-2x}Zn_x-A$ (x = 4.3 and 3.25), vacuum dehydrated zeolite A with all $Na^+$ ions replaced by $Tl^+$ and $Zn^{2+}$ as indicated, have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques in cubic space group Pm3m at 21(1) $^{\circ}C$ (a=12.100(2) ${\AA}$ for $Tl_{3.4}Zn_{4.3}-A$ and a=12.092(2) ${\AA}$ for $Tl_{5.5}Zn_{3.25}-A$). The crystals of $Tl_{3.4}Zn_{4.3}-A$ and $Tl_{5.5}Zn_{3.25}-A$ were prepared by flow method using exchange solutions in which mole ratios of $TlNO_3$,/TEX> and $Zn(NO_3)_2$ were 1:50 and 1:1, respectively, with total concentration of 0.05 M. The structures of the dehydrated $Tl_{3.4}Zn_{4.3}-A$ and $Tl_{5.5}Zn_{3.25}-A$ were refined to yield the final error indices $R_1$ = 0.075 and $R_2$ = 0.075 with 236 reflections, and $R_1$ = 0.057 and $R_2$ = 0.064 with 202 reflections, respectively, for which I > 3$\sigma$(I). Both structures indicate that Zn(II) ions are coordinated by three framework oxygens: the Zn(II) to O(3) distances are 2.08(1) ${\AA}$ for $Tl_{3.4}Zn_{4.3}-A$ and 2.07(1) ${\AA}$ for $Tl_{5.5}Zn_{3.25}-A$, respectively. In each structure, the angle subtended at Zn(II), O(3)-Zn(II)-O(3) is 119.9(3)$^{\circ}$ for $Tl_{3.4}Zn_{4.3}-A$, and 120.0(3)$^{\circ}$ for $Tl_{5.5}Zn_{3.25}-A$, respectively, close to the idealized trigonal-planar value. Zn(II) ions prefer to 6-ring sites. $Tl^+$ ions do not have any preference to a particular site but occupy simultaneously both at the 6-ring sites and 8-ring sites.
The specific strength of magnesium alloy is four times that of iron and 1.5 times that of aluminum. For this reason, its use is increasing in the transportation industry which is promoting weight reduction. At room temperature, magnesium alloy has low formability due to Hexagonal closed packed (HCP) structure with relatively little slip plane. However, as the molding temperature increases, the formability of the magnesium alloy is greatly improved due to the activation of other additional slip systems, and the flow stress and elongation vary greatly depending on the temperature. In addition, magnesium alloys exhibit asymmetrical behavior, which is different from tensile and compression behavior. In this study, a jig was developed that can measure the plane deformation behavior on the surface of a material in tensile and compression tests of magnesium alloys in warm temperature. A jig was designed to prevent buckling occurring in the compression test by applying a certain pressure to apply it to the tensile and compression tests. And the tensile and compressive behavior of magnesium at each temperature was investigated with the developed jig and DIC equipment. In each experiment, the strain rate condition was set to a quasi-static strain rate of 0.01/s. The transformation temperature is room temperature, 100℃. 150℃, 200℃, 250℃. As a result of the experiment, the flow stress tended to decrease as the temperature increased. The maximum stress decreased by 60% at 250 degrees compared to room temperature. Particularly, work softening occurred above 150 degrees, which is the recrystallization temperature of the magnesium alloy. The elongation also tended to increase as the deformation temperature increased and increased by 60% at 250 degrees compared to room temperature. In the compression experiment, it was confirmed that the maximum stress decreased as the temperature increased.

In this paper, the floor acceleration for the seismic design of non-structural elements was evaluated using the core shape as a planar variable. Linear time history analysis using 20 models with 5 different planes and 4 different floors on each plane depending on the change in the shape (position and specific gravity) of the core in the square biaxially symmetric plane was performed. The analysis confirmed that the torsional amplification of the floor acceleration was up to 1.7 times in the plane subjected to eccentricity depending on the position of the core, and the effect of torsion was the greatest in the middle floor of the structure. In a plane where only the specific gravity of the core was changed without eccentricity, when the period was less than 0.4694 s, the maximum floor acceleration decreased in the lower floors and increased in the upper floors as the period increased. Conversely, when the period was 0.4694 s or more, it was confirmed that the floor acceleration increased in the lower part and decreased in the upper part as the period increased.
