고유동 콘크리트를 이용한 콘크리트 충전강관 기둥의 실물대 시공실험 (Full Scale Tests of Concrete Filled Steel Tube Column using High Fluidity Concrete)

  • 고층 건축물에 사용할 CFT 기둥에 적합한 고유동 콘크리트를 개발하고, 이를 적용하여 실물대의 Mockup 실험을 진행하여 시공시 문제점 및 관리기술을 확보하고자 하였다. 사전에 재료선정실험을 진행하여 CFT 기둥에 가장 적합한 재료를 선정하고, 시공성을 향상시키기 위하여 2단계에 걸쳐 실험을 진행하였다. 1차 실험에서는 타설방법, 유도관의 유무, 타선속도, 낙하높이 등을 변수로 실험을 진행하여 그중 시공성이 우수하면서 품질관리에 문제가 없는 변수를 대상으로 2차 실험을 진행하였다 2차 실험에서는 $9.6{\cal}m$ 높이의 강관에 타설방법을 달리하여 콘크리트 충전실험을 진행하였다. 실험결과 시공성 향상을 위하여 기존의 시공지침과 차이를 가진 변수에서도 우수한 충전성능을 보임을 확인하였다.

  • This study discusses the results of adiabatic temperature rise tests which were performed considering various parameters, such as cement type, water-cement ratio, unit cement weigh, admixtures and placing temperature, which influence the temperature rise(K) and reaction velocity ($\alpha$). Theadiabatic temperature rise models obtained from this study are similar to those of Japan Concrete Institute. The models to calculate temperature rise and reaction velocity could be used the analysis f concrete thermal stress.

  • The purpose of this study is augmentation of heat transfer without additional power in two-dimensional impinging air jet. The technique of heat transfer augmentation used in this experiment is to place rod bundles in front of the flat heated surface. The effects of rod diameter, nozzle-to-target plate distance and the nozzle exit velocity on heat transfer have been investigated. The main conclusions obtained from this experiment are as follows. High heat transfer augmentation is achieved by means of flow acceleration and thinning of boundary layer by placing rod bundles in front of the flat plate. Average heat transfer coefficient becomes maximum in the case of H/B=10,D=4mm. For H/B=2,D=4mm, maximum heat transfer augmentation has been determined to be about 1.5 times larger than that of the flat plate. Heat transfer augmentation by placing the rod bundles at 12m/s is to be about 2 times more than increasing nozzle exit velocity from 12m/s to 18m/s.

  • Because of the problem of increasing self-weight due to the enlargement and high-rise of buildings using normal aggregate concrete, the need for structural lightweight aggregate concrete increases. However, early strength prediction is required when placing structural lightweight aggregate concrete, but research is insufficient. In this study, the ultrasonic pulse velocity of normal aggregate concrete and lightweight aggregate concrete was measured at early age. As a result, the ultrasonic pulse velocity of lightweight aggregate concrete was lower than normal aggregate concrete according to elapsed time at early age.

Experimental of Cerebral Vasospasm and Measure the Mean Blood Flow Velocity in the Middle Cerebral Artery

  • To determine the appropriate concentration of papaverine hydrochloride(PPV) for therapeutic intraarterial infusion against cerebral vasospasm and to measure the mean blood flow velocity of the middle cerebral artery in rabbits. Vasospasm was induced in the experimental groups (3 days after infusion; group 1, n=3, 7 days after infusion; group 2, n=3) and a control group (n=l) by placing a blood clot in the subarachnoid space around the top of the internal carotid siphon. PPV (5 mg/kg) was infused into the internal carotid artery. The vascular diameters of the internal carotid artery (ICA) and middle cerebral artery (MCA) were measured on angiograms before and after infusion. The mean blood flow velocity in the MCA was measured on transcranial doppler sonograms before and 24 hours after infusion. After fixation, the MCA was dissected out, stained, and examined microscopically. After PPV infusion in both groups, vascular dilatation of about $20\%$ was seen. The mean increase in blood flow velocity in the group $1(30\%)$ was smaller than in the group $2(70\%)$. The mean blood flow velocity in the MCA decreased by about $30\%$ in both groups, but increased again after 24 hours nearly to the level before PPV infusion. PPV infusion may be more effective in early stages of vasospasm when vascular walls have fewer histologic changes.

  • Eye movements serve vision by placing the image of an object on the fovea of each retina, and by preventing slippage of images on the retina. The brain employs two modes of ocular motor control, fast eye movements (saccades) and smooth eye movements. Saccades bring the fovea to a target, and smooth eye movements prevent retinal image slip. Smooth eye movements comprise smooth pursuit, the optokinetic reflex, the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR), vergence, and fixation. Saccades achieve rapid refixation of targets that fall on the extrafoveal retina by moving the eyes at peak velocities that can exceed $700^{\circ}/s$. Various brain lesions can affect saccadic latency, velocity, or accuracy. Smooth pursuit maintains fixation of a slowly moving target. The pursuit system responds to slippage of an image near the fovea in order to accelerate the eyes to a velocity that matches that of the target. When smooth eye movements velocity fails to match target velocity, catch-up saccades are used to compensate for limited smooth pursuit velocities. The VOR subserves vision by generating conjugate eye movements that are equal and opposite to head movements. If the VOR gain (the ratio of eye velocity to head velocity) is too high or too low, the target image is off the fovea, and head motion causes oscillopsia, an illusory to-and-fro movement of the environment.

SCP 개량지반의 압밀침하 결과 분석 (Analysis of Consolidation Settlement of SCP Improved Ground)

  • In this paper, the measured results obtained from the ground improved by SCP method at quay-wall caisson foundation in Pusan New Port 1-1 phase are analyzed and then compared with the values predicted by a consolidation theory. The measured settlement is generally smaller than the predicted settlement. For consolidation velocity, the measured velocity is later than the predicted value. According to the execution of caisson placing phases, the predicted value shows higher settlement than the measured one with time being.

  • 본 연구에서는 초기양생 중에 수평연속진동을 받는 콘크리트 시험체에 대하여 강도특성이 조사되었다. 실험변수로서 진동속도(0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4 kine)와 진동가력시간(3, 6, 12, 24 hrs)을 택하였다. 압축강도, 쪼갬인장강도 및 부착강도가 비교되었으며, 밀도와 재료분리현상이 조사되었다. 실험 결과, 진동속도 0.25 kine에서는 진동가력시간에 관계없이 모든 시험체에서 강도의 감소가 거의 발생하지 않았고, 또한 진동속도 0.5 kine에서 3시간의 진동을 받은 경우에도 강도의 감소가 없었다. 전체 시험체에 있어서 밀도가 증가하였으며, 재료분리현상은 발견되지 않았다.

폐비닐골재를 사용하는 아스팔트 콘크리트의 물리적 성질 (Physical Properties of Asphalt Concrete Using Wasted Vinyl Aggregates)

  • PURPOSES : In this study, various laboratory tests were performed to investigate basic physical properties of the asphalt concrete which uses wasted vinyl aggregates. METHODS : The thermal conductivity, ultrasonic velocity, Marshall stability, flow, indirect tensile strength were measured according to binder content and wasted vinyl aggregate content. An experimental construction was performed to verify construct ability of the asphalt pavement using the wasted vinyl aggregates. RESULTS : The thermal conductivity and ultrasonic velocity decreased showing insulation effect by mixing more wasted vinyl aggregate, whereas stability and flow increased. The void ratio shows similar value regardless of the mixing ratio. The highest indirect tensile strength was measured at 2.5% of wasted vinyl aggregate content. The construct ability was verified by observing the process of mixing, placing, and compaction and the state of the pavement surface. CONCLUSIONS : The basic properties and construct ability of the asphalt concrete using the wasted vinyl aggregates were verified. The temperature according to pavement depth will be measured to verify the insulation effect of the wasted vinyl aggregates. In addition, amount of snowfall, snowmelt area, and ice adhesion strength will be analyzed quantitively.

모르타르 타설 방법에 따른 하상보호공의 안정성 평가 (The Evaluation of Bed Protection as Placing Methods of Mortar)

  • 본 연구는 육상 및 수중 타설을 통한 SPF 공법의 하상보호능력을 평가하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 실제 하상보호공의 1/10 축소모형 매트를 제작하여 육상과 수중에서 모르타르를 타설했으며 실험을 통해 각 매트의 한계유속을 평가하였다. 실험 결과 매트는 대부분 수로 중앙부의 지지력 감소로 파괴가 발생했으며 상대적으로 유속이 약한 수로 가장자리에서 안정성을 확보하였다. 한계유속 분석 결과 육상타설은 6.51 m/s, 수중타설의 경우 9.80 m/s가 안정성을 확보할 수 있는 유속인 것으로 나타났으며 0.50 m 두께의 SPF매트를 콘크리트 블록으로 대체할 경우 최대 2.21 m 두께가 필요한 것으로 계산되었다.
