This study examined perceived discomforts encountered in residential facilities such as individual houses and apartments, and suggested a procedure for improving the problems in the living residence. The participants consisted of two groups of people: normal and underprivileged people; the underprivileged group was classified into 3 sub-groups: elderly people (over 65 years old), handicapped people and pregnant women. To identify inconvenient places and design factors in the residential housing, a total of 200 subjects (50 for each group) participated in the survey using the 7-point Likert scale. As a result, all the user groups mainly answered a high degree of discomfort due to narrow parking places, doorsills, and height differences between floors. The elderly, the handicapped, and the pregnant women replied that it is uncomfortable to use ramps and utility rooms. In a follow-up study, one-to-one in-depth interviews were conducted with some of the participants to analyze the detailed causes of inconvenient places and design factors. This study also suggested the procedure for solving the problems in various design factors from perspective of universal design, by considering prior studies which focused on a certain user group like the elderly. This procedure was suggested to consider as many user groups as possible at the same time. The results can be used to understand the discomforts of various user groups on residential housing. The procedure can also be used to develop universal design guidelines for the living residence.
From 1986 to 1990, the fifty-three sites (shiros) of the five places known as an areas of the pine-mushroom production in Kyoung Sang Do were visited, investigating the biology or ecology of pine-mushrooms. Physical or ecological characteristics of the areas producing pine-mushrooms was similar to those reported in Japan, but not similar to in this regardings; The ages of pine trees, the understory plant flora of the places producing the pine-mushrooms and the soil types. The areas of pine-mushroom productions are divided to two typical areas, the inland and coastal areas. Ecological differences between two areas were found, The understory plant flora and different soil types. Three kinds of soil were, by the naked eyes, were found from our observations of Kyoung Sang Do, but not based on soil analysis. The pine-mushrooms observed in Kyoung Sang Do were related to the root of the pine trees, but not confirmed to be ectomycorrhizally related to the pine trees. The mycelia isolated form the different places were compared with the degradation of phenolic compounds and culture methods, but were not clearly distinguished. The productions of pine-mushroom and several methods for the pine mushroom were suggested under four years' observations.
Recently the terrors have been attempted in the public places of the nations such as United states, England and Japan by explosive things, toxic materials and so on. It is understood that the method in which dangerous objects are put in public places is one of the difficult types in detection. While there are the cameras recording videos for many spots in public places, it is very hard for the security personnel to monitor every videos. Nowadays the smart softwares which can analyzing videos automatically are utilized to detect abandoned objects. The method by Lin et al. shows comparatively high detection rates for abandoned objects but it is not easy to obtain the shape information because there is a tendency that the number of the pixels decreases abruptly along the time goes due to the characteristics of short-term background images. In this research a novel method is proposed to successfully extract the shape of the abandoned object by analysing the characteristics of area variation. The experiment results show that the proposed method has better performance in extracting shape information in comparison with the precedent approach.
The study aims to identify the design character of libraries today into outwardness which enhances publicity in the library buildings. This design trend tends to be emphasized in contemporary civic libraries. In these days, the libraries become not only to be the traditional places of information but also to be the multi-purpose places to provide community services and cultural spaces. Thus the contemporary libraries, especially big civic libraries, are willing to open to the public of diverse purposes and to accelerate social communication among them through outward design in the buildings. This study surveys literatures and identify accessibility, symbolism, openness, amenity, connection, as the characters of publicity in the libraries. The study also examines the outward design strategies of the libraries which enhance publicity in the ways of design to connect surrounding environment, to symbolize buildings, to wrap transparent external surfaces and to build interior spaces. The study finds in the case studies of ten outstanding civic libraries abroad which were built in relatively recent years that the outward design is achieved mainly through four ways. First, the libraries have connection with surrounding urban environment, thus have continuities from the surrounding. Second, the libraries have the shapes of landmarks which expose themselves and their roles to the outside. Third, the libraries have transparent surfaces through which outdoor environment penetrates into the buildings. Fourth, the libraries have corridors and halls which look like traditional urban public streets and plazas. The study concludes that outward design strategies which employ in contemporary libraries enhance publicity in the libraries. Thus the libraries can perform as multi-functional cultural and open places which accelerate social interactions among the public of cities. This study has the value as a research which emphasizes outwardness as the design strategies which enhance publicity in contemporary libraries.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of reputation in culture oriented market on revisit intention and word of mouth(WOM) effects for Traditional Market. Research design, data, and methodology - 5 point Likert-scale has been adopted for this study designed based on previous study. Used SPSS ver.23, factor analysis & Cronbach's alpha, correlation, regression test were made. 277 samples were used for analysis. Results - Tourist satisfaction as an element that affects on revisit intention and word of mouth effects for traditional Market. Their goods images and impressions from experience of traveling and purchasing keep in mind and be another place and story to talk others. Culture is an important factor that maintains and regenerates cities and cities should be perceived as cultural places instead of simple physical places. Culture was associated with higher revisit and word of mouse intentions for traditional market. The tourists can select a new places and visit the market if it has a special culture and special food which people can like and enjoy even they do not have regional brand image. Conclusions - Tourist satisfaction of users in traditional markets and their revisit intentions and the results indicated that higher customer satisfaction was associated with higher revisit and word of mouse intentions. Culture factors will be the motive to find out peoples a hometown in heart.

The purpose of this research is to help outdoor space planning reflected real needs of apartment residents in the differentiation elements of outdoor space, by using USC trade-off game in three apartment complexes in Seoul. This game method was used to evaluate their preference, reliability of preference degree, satisfaction degree, requirement elements such as improvement, sacrifice, maintenance of present condition, and payment possibility for improving and maintaining present condition, in addition to their preference and payment possibility of differentiation of outdoor space in the apartment complex in the future. From the statical analysis, we found the following results: 1. Reliability of preference degree was valid, inasmuch as the first elements they preferred were the almost same as the last things. 2. Elements of preference were pedestrian ways, pedestrian security facilities, various athletic facilities, and variety and high-class facilities in a play ground. 3. Satisfaction degree of differentiation elements of outdoor space was low not only in total complexes but also in each complex. As a result of analysis, these elements were not satisfied with residents. 4. Most of the differentiation elements of outdoor space in three apartment complexes, except planting traditional trees, were required to improve and maintain present condition. The cost to improve and maintain these elements able to pay by them was about 2.18 million won. Through this result, these elements were not options but prerequisites for planning outdoor space in apartment complexes. 5. In the future preference elements of differentiation of outdoor space in apartment complexes were pedestrian and jogging ways, places with water, various athletic places and facilities, multi-function resting places, green spaces in experiences, pedestrian security facilities, various athletic facilities, variety and high-class facilities in a play ground, and payment possibility for these elements was about 3.20 million won.
This research was to analyze the direction ideas of residential Feng Shui. In ancient China residential places were been established by Xiangzhai(相宅) and Buzhai(卜宅) usages. And ancient Chinese always considered geographical features of mountains and waters for setting up their living places. Geographical features were also considered importantly ih representative residential Feng Shui books, Zhaijing(宅經) and Yangzhaisanyao(陽宅三要). In Zhaihing, 24 direction ideas are co-related with Fagui(八卦) and GanZhi(千支) theories, and they are most important residential Feng Shiui direction theories. The basic thoughts of 24 direction ideas of Zhaijing were already formed in Qin(秦) dynasty and modified in early Han(漢) dynasty. In Zhaijing, residential places were splited into Yangzhai(陽宅) and Yinzhai(陰宅) according to YinYang's Qi directions. Those were actually formed from meticulous observations on changing processes of YinYangWuXing(陰陽五行)'s Qi(氣). Constantly changed Qi of YinYangWuXing were studied by old chinese people from the observations on the sun, the moon, the five stars, the Great Bear, and ErShiBaXiu(二十八宿). The origin of Zhaijing's direction ideas is the direction system of ShiPan(式盤) in Qin and Han dynasty. On ShiPan TianGan(天干) Dizi(地支) Fagui TianDiRenGui(天地人鬼) were arranged very systematically into four and 24 directions. DongxiSizhai(東西四宅) theories of Yangzhaisanyao had edited more lately than Zhaijing(宅經), and formed according to Fagui(八卦)'s YinYang(陰陽) principles. But the basic ideas is same with Zhaihing's. It proves that residential Feng Shui theories were constantly improved and modified. And both residential Feng Shui direction ideas of Zhaijing and Yangzhaisanyao are the gentral ideas in old china. The point of that ideas is Sky's four or 24 directions are correspndence with the earth's. It came from the traditional thoughts that Heaven, Earth, and mankind are c0-related and influenced each other according to Qi's changing processes. Gather up above mentioned, the direction ideas of residential Feng Shui is a systematic thoughts of old chinese for harmonizing Tian-Di-Ren-Gui, and is their specific methods for harmonizing the nature's Qi, mankind and spirits.
Humans have been searching for more comfortable places for centuries. The comfort concept which is related with vitality in Pungsu is closest to science. The comfort concept was introduced as being based upon measurable human physiological and psychological reactions. Two classification nomograms, the comfort index and the wind effect index were identified. The Pungsu concept can be applied in America, and one of them is North Cemetery located in the town of Hampton in northeastern Connecticut not far from Storrs campus, the University of Connecticut. The human reaction to comfort not only physiologically but also individually is various in various climate region. It is important to search for more comfortable places or to make up for less comfortable places with Pungsu as the adaptive strategy for the comfort.

In mobile agent environments, cascaded delegations among places occur frequently due to the mobility of agents. Cascaded delegation in mobile agent environments can be defined as the process whereby the delegated place delegates the rights of the delegating place further. The representative study for delegation in mobile agent environments is Berkovits et al.'s study. Their study only defines the messages that is sent between the place executing the agent and the place where the agent migrates. Because their study considers only the delegation between two places which participate in migration of an agent, it is inadequate in the situation that the cascaded delegation is necessary. In other words, the relationships among the messages sent from and to places is necessary. However, their study does not exist the relationships. In this paper, we propose a delegation scheme that provides agents with secure cascaded delegation. The proposed scheme achieves the goal by nesting each delegation token within the signed part of the next immediate delegation token. We prove that the proposed scheme is secure against the attack of replaying a message and of substituting a delegation token.
This study aimed to develop strategies to re-establish the Park Nature Conservation Area in Bukhansan National Park, reflecting landscape ecological value by using the zonation program Marxan with Zones. Planning unit was set by watershed, and the basic data were mapped, considering topographical and ecological values. Mapped indicators were analyzed with the application framework of Marxan with Zones by indexing some indicators. The zones divided into Park Nature Conservation Area (Zone A), Park Nature Environment Area I(Zone B) which is reflected on the concept of Potential Park Nature Conservation Area and Park Nature Environment Area II(Zone C). The best solution for each of the scenarios was fixed through the sensitiveness analysis. From these, the final solution was selected considering five criteria including area ratio of conservation area and grouping. Lastly, the final solution was verified in the overlapped analysis with recent zonation. According to the results, the number of watersheds was 77, with an average area of $1,007,481m^2$. In terms of basic mapping and indexation, the slope index and number of landscape resources for topographical property were average 0.22 and 38 places, respectively. Biotope index was average 0.69 and legally protected species was 14 species, reflecting ecological values. As the social and economic indicators, trail index was average 0.04, and the number of tour and management facilities was 43 places. Through the framework of Marxan with Zones, the best solution for scenario 1 which was set by the highest conservation criteria was selected as the final solution, and the area ratio of Park Nature Conservation Area and grouping was excellent. As the result of overlapped analysis, suggested zonation of the Park Nature Conservation was better than the recent zonation in the area raito (28.3%), biotope grade I(15.4%) and the distribution points (10 places) of legally protected species with verification of proper distribution of conservation features according to the zone.
