인간동력항공기 조종사 훈련 및 성과 (Training and Performances of the HPA Pilot)

  • 본 논문에서는 기계적 동력을 이용하지 않고 오직 인간의 근육에서 발생된 에너지를 이용하여 이착륙 및 비행을 할 수 있는 인간동력항공기의 조종사 훈련 계획 수립, 훈련 및 성과에 관해 기술하였다. 이를 위해 전문 트레이너는 각 조종사들의 신체적 특성을 고려하여 훈련 계획을 수립하였으며, 조종사들은 기초 체력 증진을 위한 실내 트레이닝, 균일한 동력 발생을 위한 실외 트레이닝, 조향 능력 습득을 위한 시뮬레이션 교육 및 경비행기 탑승을 실시하였다. 훈련을 통해 조종사의 몸무게 감소 및 체력 향상을 확인할 수 있었으며, 비행에 필요한 기본적인 비행 운용 능력을 습득하였다.

  • One of the major reasons for recent blackout, like August 14, 2003 blackout in the US and Canada has been insufficient voltage/reactive power support. For the stable reactive power management, a new approach for the voltage monitoring and control structure is required in the market environment. This paper proposes the effective localized-voltage control scheme using the information from pilot buses at each zone. In this paper, the steady state voltage monitoring and control (SSVMC) is adopted and illustrated for the voltage control scheme during steady state because it is thought as the systemic algorithm to explain voltage profile phenomenon before and after contingencies. And the concept of electrical distance is applied to simultaneously achieve both clustering the voltage control zone, and selecting the pilot bus as the representative node at each control zone. Applying SSVMC based on the structure with clustering and pilot bus enables system operators to monitor and understand the system condition much more easily, to monitor and control the voltage in real-time more manageably, and to respond quickly to a disturbance. The proposed voltage control scheme has been tested on the IEEE 14-bus system with the numerical analysis to examine the system reliability and structure efficiency.

가속수명시험을 통한 자동차용 파일럿램프의 비교평가 (Comparison to Automobile Pilot Lamp by Accelerated Life Test)

  • In this paper, we compared domestic with foreign pilot lamps installed on the instrument board or electronic modules (car audio, air-conditional system, etc.) of an automotive vehicle by an accelerated life test in order to estimate the life of domestic pilot lamps. An accelerated life test method was developed and the relation of the life and voltage stress was analyzed. The main results are as follows; i) $B_{10}$ life of pilot lamp is above 5,000 hours, vehicle travel time for 10 years. ii) the life of domestic pilot lamp is longer than that of foreign thing. iii) the life distribution of domestic pilot lamp is wider than that of foreign thing. iv) it is possible to promote import replacement of automobile pilot lamp.

  • It is important to find the maximum efficient conditions for the output of the photovoltaic(PV) system to determine the optimal installation location of the PV system. The output of PV system depends on the irradiance. Therefore, this paper introduces the pilot experiment set to track the output of PV system according to the variance of irradiance and analyzes the result of experiment using this set. The pilot experiment set consists of the PV modules and the inverter to convert DC power to AC power. For this experiment, the fixed and tracked modules are used.

상용급 가스터빈에서 셰일가스 파일럿비 영향에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Study on Pilot Ratio Effect of Shale-Gas in a Commercial Gas Turbine)

  • 논문에서는 상용급 가스터빈을 대상으로 해서 셰일가스를 연료로 공급할 때 유동 및 연소특성을 3-D 수치해석적 방법으로 구하였다. 이 때, Standard k-e 난류모델, 2단 메탄산화반응, Finite rate/Eddy dissipation 반응모델, DTRM 복사모델이 사용되었고, 기준조건(도시가스, PR 0.07)에서 출구 측에서 형성되는 온도는 이전 문헌 값과 비슷한 값을 보였다. 위 모델을 바탕으로 해서 연료조건으로 기존의 도시가스 외에 세 가지 셰일가스 조건(도시가스 대비 열량기준 80%, 90%, 105%)을 선정하였고, 각 연료조건에 대하여 세 가지 연료분사조건(PR=0.7, 0.9, 0.11)에 대한 해석을 수행하였다. 해석결과, 모든 셰일가스 연료공급 조건에 대하여 도시가스 대비 온도 혹은 NOx 측면에서 연소안정화를 만족하였다. 또한 모든 조건에 대해서 PR이 증가할수록 출구측 평균온도는 일정했지만 NOx량은 증가하였다. 이는 파일럿비가 증가할수록 상대적으로 확산연소가 증가했기 때문이다.

  • Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) power plant converts coal to syngas, which is mainly composed with hydrogen and carbon monoxide, by the gasification process and produces electric power by the gas and steam turbine combined cycle power plant. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of gasification process to type and structure of gasifier. For this purpose, the performance characteristics of gasification reaction are analyzed with the operation characteristic of pilot-scale 2-stage coal gasifier. It is found that gasification reaction, floating characteristic of melted slag, particle stick of inside of the gasifier, particle stick and deposit of Syngas cooler are the causes in the different performance characteristics.

  • 본 논문은 최근 주목받고 있는 압축 센싱(compressed sensing) 기반으로 직교 주파수 분할 다중화 (OFDM; orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) 신호의 파일럿 톤을 효율적으로 설계하여 최대 전력대 평균 전력 비율 (PAPR; peak to average power ratio)을 감소시키는 방법을 제안한다.

  • A connection between pulse-periodical laser radiation power and stability of liquid-metal contacts between powder particles during selective laser sintering (SLS) is determined based on analysis solving the problem of stability of liquid column in the gravity and capillary forces field. On the grounds of obtained relationships the optimization of pulse-periodical laser radiation power and SLS-process duration is realized, that allows to produce voluminous powder porous materials with pre-determined physical and mechanical properties and surface geometry. Results of metallographic investigations of powder porous materials of titanium powder produced with technological regimes calculated by means of obtained relationships are given in the work

직교주파수분할다중화기반 전력선통신에서 대역 효율적인 전송기법 (A spectral efficient transmission method for ofdm-based power line communications)

  • 전력선통신은 스마트그리드 기반의 서비스가 제공될 수 있는 네트워크를 위한 미래지향적 기술이다. 전력선통신 채널의 주파수 선택적 페이딩이 있는 환경에서, 직교주파수분할다중화 기술은 신뢰성 있는 통신을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 직교주파수분할다중화 기반의 전력선통신 시스템에서 은닉학습신호를 이용한 주파수사용효율이 높은 기법을 제안한다. 은닉학습신호를 사용하면 채널 추정용 주파수를 따로 소모하지 않고도 채널 추정이 가능하고, 이는 데이터와의 간섭을 줄일 수 있는 학습신호에 할당된 파워를 이용해서 해결할 수 있다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 기법이 기존의 기법들에 비해 저전압 및 중전압 송전 라인에서 높은 성취 가능한 데이터 율을 보여준다.

Interference Management by Vertical Beam Control Combined with Coordinated Pilot Assignment and Power Allocation in 3D Massive MIMO Systems

  • In order to accommodate huge number of antennas in a limited antenna size, a large scale antenna array is expected to have a three dimensional (3D) array structure. By using the Active Antenna Systems (AAS), the weights of the antenna elements arranged vertically could be configured adaptively. Then, a degree of freedom (DOF) in the vertical plane is provided for system design. So the three-dimension MIMO (3D MIMO) could be realized to solve the actual implementation problem of the massive MIMO. However, in 3D massive MIMO systems, the pilot contamination problem studied in 2D massive MIMO systems and the inter-cell interference as well as inter-vertical sector interference in 3D MIMO systems with vertical sectorization exist simultaneously, when the number of antenna is not large enough. This paper investigates the interference management towards the above challenges in 3D massive MIMO systems. Here, vertical sectorization based on vertical beamforming is included in the concerned systems. Firstly, a cooperative joint vertical beams adjustment and pilot assignment scheme is developed to improve the channel estimation precision of the uplink with pilots being reused across the vertical sectors. Secondly, a downlink interference coordination scheme by jointly controlling weight vectors and power of vertical beams is proposed, where the estimated channel state information is used in the optimization modelling, and the performance loss induced by pilot contamination could be compensated in some degree. Simulation results show that the proposed joint optimization algorithm with controllable vertical beams' weight vectors outperforms the method combining downtilts adjustment and power allocation.
