  • The gold crown unearthed from the ancient tombs at Imdang-dong, Kyongsan-gun, Kyongsangbuk-do was in a state of severe corrosion that its original pattern couldn't be identified. Therefore, for the conservation of the relics, the following methods are employed :1. With 10% formic acid are used for the elimination of the bronze-rust and then plated them with gold.2. As a rust-proof treatment, 1% Benzotriazole is used for stem corrosion as well3. For protection and reinforcement of the surface of the relics, 30% incralac agentsare used.4. Pieces of fragments are bonded together by cyanoacrylate and on the backside are coated partially with Araldite for the reinforcement of the glass-wool.5. Silica-gels are kept into the acryl box for perfect maintenance.

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the dissolution process of Dongnae-bu Dongheon Block(東萊府 東軒 一廓) under the Rule of Japanese. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the space orgnization of Dongnae-bu Dongheon Block(東萊府 東軒 一廓) proved to be clear on the basis of Dongnae-bu Eupji(東萊府 邑誌), the ficture of Dongnae-bu(東萊府) and the Original Land Registration Map(地籍原圖) at the end of Joseon Dynasty. Second, the old government offices, as well as Chungsin-dang(忠信堂), were converted into the local government office for the sake of Japanese colonialism. Third, the old government office and its land were transferred to the banking system(金融組合) and the educational foundation(學校組合) in the interests of Japanese colonist. Finally, the transfer land of civilian industry association forced Mangmi-ru(望美樓) and Dokjin-daeamun(獨鎭大衙門) to remove to another site and the private lots-subdivision assisted space taking to pieces.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand Skull Images in fashion trends and Skull Image Top Design for Female Teenagers. The methods of this study are an academic literature review as well as practical study through actual case studies about. The subjects of the study were 53 Female Teenagers who lived in Chuncheon. Data were collected during March, 2009. Statistical analyses used in the study were frequency. An adolescent period, they are rebellious, sensual and syntonic inclination. These days, Lots of Female Teenagers want unique fashion for herself and select Skull Image clothing. But they want fit and pretty style not big-look. In this study, I designed seven pieces of Top blouse while applying Skull Image, an important image of Hip-hop and Punk fashion, and the concepts of the continuance theory to them. This study will make a contribution to the designing of Top for Female Teenagers through reinterpretation of the Hip-hop and Punk fashion. In addition, there are practicable and unique Top design for Female Teenagers.

  • A ship-block cutting module is being developed as part of a computational system for a ship design. The module supports product-information to other modules in design process and displays ship-blocks in cutting-operation. Welding-information is essential to process-planning and scheduling. In the module, ship-blocks are modeled by Plate-Objects and then divided into several cutting pieces. The module automatically creates Welding-Objects containing welding-information in the process. Since the module is connected to WWW(World Wide Web), users in various platforms can access the models simultaneously In addition, users can check manufacturing constraints by inspecting a virtual model.

  • To compare on the accuracy of bridge made by various soldering technics, four unit bridges were made on a blass original model. They were soldered to each other in the following three ways : In Group I, one central gap between two pieces of pre-soldered abutments and adjacent pontics were soldered at the final step. In Group II, the two gaps between one piece of pre-soldered pontics and two abutments were soldered at the final step. In Group III. the three gaps between two abutments and two ponitcs were soldered at the same time. Misfitting of those bridges were compared by measuring the spaces created between the retainer margins and the shoulders of preparated original model with a micrometer microscope. The author obtained following results : In the final step, the more number of the soldered gap increased, the more accuracy of the bridge decreased.

  • Traditional Internet pricing schemes are coming under continual pressure to adapt to, and encourage, a changing mix of Internet applications and consumer usage patterns. Much research effort over the last decade has been focused on developing more efficient and attractive charging schemes. However, none of the proposed models has been widely deployed. This raises questions regarding the inhibiting factors and missing pieces that make pricing the Internet such a challenge. In this paper, we discuss the problems with current Internet pricing schemes, review the history of Internet pricing research over the last ten years, and summarize the key features and motivations of the most significant models. We develop a novel visual approach to comparing and evaluating such schemes using a three-dimensional (3D) metric encompassing technical efficiency, economic efficiency, and social impact. We address and discuss the important factors that have inhibited the deployment of the reviewed models and suggest productive areas of focus for future Internet pricing research.

  • Recently, autonomous things, which are pieces of equipment or devices that grasp the context of circumstances on their own and perform actions appropriate for the situation in the surrounding environment, are attracting much research interest. This is because autonomous things are expected to be able to interact with humans more naturally, supersede humans in many tasks, and further solve problems by themselves by collaborating with each other without human intervention. This prospect leans heavily on AI as deep learning has delivered astonishing breakthroughs recently and broadened its range of applications. This paper surveys application trends in deep learning-based AI techniques for autonomous things, especially autonomous driving vehicles, because they present a wide range of problems involving perception, decision, and actions that are very common in other autonomous things.

  • In this paper a new positioning method for cylindrical work pieces on rotating supports is studied. A work piece on a rotating axis is positioned by an impact drive mechanism (IDM) whose driving parameters are steadily updated by observing the object movement. The application of this actuator and the use of a multi-functional PC board for all necessary input and output operations such as e.g. data acquisition or wave form generation allow an alignment with a precision of less than 1.mu.m in a relatively short time and at low cost compared to conventional methods.

  • The paper describes an automatic frequency control current-fed inverter for forging applications. The IGBT in series with diodes as its switching devices in the inverter circuit which is of full-bridge type. The operating frequency is automatically tracked to maintain a small constant leading phase angle when load parameters change. The load voltage is controlled to protect the switches. The output power can be adjusted by varying the input current from phase controlled rectifiers which is a part of current source. The system has been operated at 15-17 kHz. The output power transferred to the load is 1,595 watts. It can heat the steel work pieces with 15 mm diameter and 120 mm long from room temperature to approximately 1100 $^{\circ}C$ within 20 seconds with 0.97 leading power factor on the input side.

  • Biodegradation of Quinoline by free and immobilized Bacillus brevis has been investigated. The rate of quinoline degradation by immobilized Bacillus brevis on coconut shell carbon is faster than the rate by the microorganism immobilized on foam pieces and free cells. A complete removal of 100 ppm of Quinoline in the sample was achieved at a hydraulic retention time of 20 hours with the biocatalyst prepared by immobilizing Bacillus brevis onto coconut shell carbon. The biocatalyst had a reasonable shelf life and desirable recycle capacity.
