냉동 물류 창고 내 도크시스템을 통한 에너지 손실량 분석 (Analysis of Amount of Energy Loss for a Dock System in the Cold Distribution Center)

  • In this study, energy loss due to ventilation load in the dock system was analyzed through simulation. Also, flow generated in the dock system of the warehouse was measured using manufactured measuring devices. Numerical simulation was conducted by simulating the most common picking tasks by examining the actual working environment. Incompressible and unsteady turbulent flows were assumed, and the turbulence model was the k-e standard model. Proper grid was selected through grid dependency test. Measurement was conducted using Honeywell and Vaisala sensors, and flow and temperature inside the warehouse were measured and compared with simulation results to validate simulation. When comparing amount of loss occurring in two hours and amount of loss occurring in 15 minutes, docking time of the former was eight times longer but energy loss was 3.8 times lower. Ventilation load occurring during the initial period after opening docking system accounted for a large proportion of total ventilation load. Also, comparing the load when the dock was closed and the load when the truck was parked, ventilation load was significantly higher than load due to heat conduction from the wall. Therefore, in improving the docking system, it is effective to reduce the gap by improving compatibility of the docking system and truck, rather than wall material.

An Efficient Complex Event Detection Algorithm based on NFA_HTS for Massive RFID Event Stream

  • Massive event stream brings us great challenges in its volume, velocity, variety, value and veracity. Picking up some valuable information from it often faces with long detection time, high memory consumption and low detection efficiency. Aiming to solve the problems above, an efficient complex event detection method based on NFA_HTS (Nondeterministic Finite Automaton_Hash Table Structure) is proposed in this paper. The achievement of this paper lies that we successfully use NFA_HTS to realize the detection of complex event from massive RFID event stream. Specially, in our scheme, after using NFA to capture the related RFID primitive events, we use HTS to store and process the large matched results, as a result, our scheme can effectively solve the problems above existed in current methods by reducing lots of search, storage and computation operations on the basis of taking advantage of the quick classification and storage technologies of hash table structure. The simulation results show that our proposed NFA_HTS scheme in this paper outperforms some general processing methods in reducing detection time, lowering memory consumption and improving event throughput.

A Study on the Robot Structure of Hand for the Rehabilitation Training of Stroke Patients

  • The rehabilitation training robots for treating the upper limbs of stroke patients were mainly focused on the upper proximal treatment of it, but recently studies of the distal parts of the upper limbs for rehabilitation of the hand is making some progress even though it is still a small number so far. In this paper, we present the hand robot for the rehabilitation training of stroke patients that is the fingertip contact-typed mechanism, and it has also equipped with the wrist rehabilitation unit to be worked like human hand that enables any movements through mutual cooperation by fingers while picking up or grasping objects. The robot that is presented for this purpose supports the movement of fingers with 5-DoF and the wrist with 3-DoF that moves independently, and operates with a structure that allows the joints of the wrist and fingers to be collaborated organically together to each other. Also, hereby the simulation and evaluation test on its robot mechanism are performed to ensure that fingers with 5-DoF and the wrist with 3-DoF of the serial kinematical mechanism are designed to comply with or exceed ROM for ADL.

An Efficient Complex Event Processing Algorithm based on Multipattern Sharing for Massive Manufacturing Event Streams

  • Quickly picking up some valuable information from massive manufacturing event stream usually faces with the problem of long detection time, high memory consumption and low detection efficiency due to its stream characteristics of large volume, high velocity, many variety and small value. Aiming to solve the problem above for the current complex event processing methods because of not sharing detection during the detecting process for massive manufacturing event streams, an efficient complex event processing method based on multipattern sharing is presented in this paper. The achievement of this paper lies that a multipattern sharing technology is successfully used to realize the quick detection of complex event for massive manufacturing event streams. Specially, in our scheme, we firstly use pattern sharing technology to merge all the same prefix, suffix, or subpattern that existed in single pattern complex event detection models into a multiple pattern complex event detection model, then we use the new detection model to realize the quick detection for complex events from massive manufacturing event streams, as a result, our scheme can effectively solve the problems above by reducing lots of redundant building, storing, searching and calculating operations with pattern sharing technology. At the end of this paper, we use some simulation experiments to prove that our proposed multiple pattern processing scheme outperforms some general processing methods in current as a whole.

Ink setting and back trap mottle

  • Paper coating can give smoothness surface and good printability to uncoated paper. Macro roughness of base paper would be decreasing its groove and grit in view of side. Nevertheless its improving effect for paper, some kind of problem is showing in the fine coated paper. Especially, back trap mottle is one of serious problems in printing with fine coated paper. Printers can not adjust conditions to overcome the problem. Also large amounts of paper can be rejected. There are many factors that influence back trap mottle. However it is not clear what the important parameters are in back trap mottle. Back trap mottle has some relationship with ink setting but good guidelines are not clear. Back trap mottle has been linked to non-uniform ink setting. We do not know how much variation in setting we can tolerate. Other mottle issues such as micro-picking and ink refusal are still common. This paper was prepared to identify correlation with ink setting and delta ink density obtained from experiment and then tried to find out some relationships with ink setting and back trap mottle. Basically fine calcium carbonate and ciay was used for main components and coarse calcium carbonate was mixed in two fine pigments to change its porosity and ink acceptance. Micro ink tack force at KRK printing tester was adapted to measure ink setting rate. KRK units were used for back trap mottle simulation and two printed samples were prepared to check delta ink density. Clay base coating has more fast ink setting time than calcium carbonate's though smoothness of clay was better than calcium carbonate. It could be explained by that clay has finer pore in its coating than calcium carbonate. DID(delta ink density) has shown a good correlation with ink setting time from micro ink tack. The total pore volume of coating layer did not match with ink setting and DID. From the results we might conclude coating that has fine pore size around 0.05 ${\mu}m$ can be exposed to high possibility of back trap mottle.

다운홀 기법에서 신뢰성 있는 도달시간 정보 산출 방법에 대한 고찰 (A Study of Obtaining Reliable Travel Time Information in Downhole Seismic Method)

  • 지반의 전단파 속도 주상도를 도출하는데 있어 다운홀 기법은 하나의 시추공을 이용하고 간단한 지표면 가진원을 사용하므로 매우 경제적이다. 그러나 실험을 통해 획득한 신호에서 전단파 성분의 도달시간 정보를 정확히 도출하지 못할 경우 최종 결과의 신뢰성이 떨어지게 된다. 따라서 다운홀 기법에 있어 최종 결과의 신뢰성을 높이기 위해 도달 시간 정보의 결정 방법에 대한 고찰은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 총 6가지 방법을 이용하여 다운홀 시험을 통해 획득한 신호에서 도달시간 정보를 획득, 비교하고자 하였으며 각 방법에 대한 효율적인 비교 및 검증을 위하여 유한요소 해석 및 실내 모형 토조 시험을 수행하였다. 유한요소 해석을 이용한 검증에서는 모델의 입력치와, 실내 모형 토조에서는 벤더 엘리먼트 시험 결과와의 비교를 통해 각 방법의 오차정도를 비교해 보았다. 초동 추정 방법의 결과는 다른 방법에 비해 오차정도가 매우 컸다. 다른 방법들 또한 획득 파형의 특성에 따라 오차 정도가 달랐으며 정확한 값을 제공하지 못하는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 그 중에서 상호상관법이 적용성이 가장 뛰어난 것으로 판단되었으며 현장 시험 데이터를 이용한 추가적인 검토를 통해 확인할 수 있었다.

PoC Box 단말의 RTSP 운용을 위한 사용자 요구 중심의 효율적인 다중 수신 버퍼링 기법 및 패킷화 방법에 대한 성능 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study of Performance Analysis on Effective Multiple Buffering and Packetizing Method of Multimedia Data for User-Demand Oriented RTSP Based Transmissions Between the PoC Box and a Terminal)

  • PoC(Push-to-talk Over Cellular)는 그룹 음성 및 영상 통화와 인터넷, 멀티미디어 서비스를 통합한 단말 기술이다. PoC는 부재, 긴급 상황, 배터리 방전 등과 같은 다양한 이유로 인해 PoC 세션에 참여하지 못하는 사용자에게 종래 MMS 서비스에서의 MM Box와 비슷한 기능을 가진 PoC Box를 사용하는 기능을 제공하고 있다. PoC 표준안에서는 PoC Box에서 PoC 단말로 미디어 전송 시 RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol)를 사용하도록 권장하고 있다. 기존의 RTSP를 적용한 VOD 서비스의 경우는 빠른 유선 네트워크 망을 고려하여 패킷의 크기를 크게 구현하는 반면 PoC 서비스는 무선 통신 환경이기 때문에 이러한 특성을 고려한 RTSP 전송 방법이 필요하다. 무선 통신 환경에서는 패킷의 손실률이 비교적 유선 통신 환경에서보다 다소 높기 때문에 PoC 단말 측에서 미디어 재생 시 화면 끊김 현상, 영상과 음성의 비동기화 발생, 버퍼링 대기 시간 등이 발생한다. 따라서 PoC 단말 측에서의 이러한 문제점은 사용자가 미디어 콘텐츠를 재생하는데 있어 자신이 원하는 정보를 빠르게 습득하기 어렵게 만든다. 본 논문에서는 RTSP를 이용하여 사용자가 미디어 검색 시 단시간 내에 전송되는 미디어에서 효과적으로 중요한 정보를 습득하고 재생 지연 현상을 줄일 수 있는 "교차 이중 수신 버퍼링 기법", "사전 분할 다중 수신 버퍼링 기법", "On-Demand 다중 수신 버퍼링 기법"과 전송 시 미디어 데이터의 패킷화 방법인 "동일 순위 패킷화 전송 방식", "우선 순위 패킷화 전송 방식"을 제안하였고 실험을 통해 그 성능의 적정성 및 우수성을 검증하였다. 실시된 시뮬레이션 성능 평가에서 사용자의 미디어 검색 성향에 따라 제안된 다중 수신 버퍼링 및 패킷화 방식이 기존 단일 수신 버퍼링 방식과 비교하여 효율성 및 우수성 평가에서 6-9점 이상 우수한 결과를 보였다. 그 중 On-Demand 다중 수신 버퍼링 기법은 동일순위 패킷화 방법과 사용될 때 타 기법과 비교하여 3-24점 사이의 우수성을 보임으로써 사용자의 다양한 미디어 검색 성향에 대해 빠르게 대응할 수 있었다. 또한 단시간 내에 사용자가 집중적으로 미디어 검색이 이루어지는 재생 시간대에 대해 많은 미디어 데이터를 수신 받기 때문에 단말 사용자에게 빠른 정보를 제공할 수 있었다.
