The purpose of this research is to find out whether children's self-efficacy can be improved by sensory activities devised to encourage spirituality. The survey involved 36 children aged 4 to 5. To measure the subjects' self-efficacy, Jeon Inok(1996)'s tool was used. The 18 members of the experimental group attended a program which was dedicated to promoting spirituality by using sensory activities. The program was administered three times a week for four weeks, totaling 12 sessions, each of which contained a type of activity and lasted about fifty minutes. To the 18 members of the control group, the standard child care curriculum was applied. The levels of the subjects' self-efficacy were measured twice, both in the same way, before and after the children participated in the program. The finding reveals that the program which was designed to boost children's spirituality through sensory activities has positive effect on children's self-efficiency - cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically. The self-efficiency level in the experimental group significantly increased by t=7.17(df=34, p<.001) compared to the control group. So, it can be said that the program dedicated to improving spirituality using sensory activities is more effective than the standard child care curriculum.

In the accompanying paper, part I, we have presented the physical modeling and the associated numerical analysis of injection molding process with a compressible viscoelastic fluid model. In part II, the effects of compression stage in the injection/compression molding process are presented. Numerical results showed that the injection/compression molding process reduced birefringence as compared with the injection molding process. In this respect, one can conclude that the injection/compression molding process is more suitable for manufacturing the precise optical products than the injection molding process. In the distribution of birefringence, the effect of packing procedure in injection/compression molding process was found to be similar to that in injection molding process. From the numerical results, we found that birefringence becomes smaller as the melt temperature gets higher and the closing velocity of the mold gets smaller with the flow rate and the mold temperature affecting the birefringence insignificantly. As far as the distribution of density is concerned, the flow rate, the melt temperature, and the closing velocity of the mold had insignificant effect on the distribution of density in comparison with the mold temperature.

Geometrical characteristics of fresh red pepper(Capsicum annuum L.) were measured and indexed to define some important geometrical characteristics, and malformation of body and fruit stalk which are necessary for the design of the equipments for cutting, spreading and alignment of red pepper in developing a fruit stalk remover of fresh red pepper. The effects of bending of body and fruit stalk on the equipments of cutting, spreading and alignment were studied. The maximum lengths of some parts of fresh red pepper were found to be 180 mm, 125 mm, 144 mm, 67 mm and 76 mm for the body, the bent part of body, the fruit stalk, the bent part and the straight part of fruit stalk, respectively. The fresh red pepper with bending indices more than 0.4 and 0.3 for the body and the fruit stalk, respectively, was defined to be malformed based on the result of cutting rate using cutting unit; while the other ones to be normal in shape. Based on this, among the total fresh red peppers tested, 47%, 40% and 20% were found malformed for the body, the fruit stalk, and for both of the body and the fruit stalk. Malformed red peppers were poorer in spreading and alignment than normal ones, and the processed quantity was decreased with increased feed rate. The required time for the malformed peppers to pass on the alignment plate inclined at 30 increased rapidly at 8.3 Hz with increased feed rate. For the fresh red peppers with average moisture content of 85%,w.b., the maximum tensile strength between fruit stalk and body was 88.1 N; the maximum cutting resistances were 92.1 N and 94.9 N for the fruit stalk-calyx joint and body, respectively. Average coefficients of static friction were 0.99, 0.62, 0.59 and OJ, respectively, for the surfaces of rubber, galvanized iron, acryl and plywood.

Resort Hotel Rate System was first introduced as an official guideline after Tourism Promotion Act, which enables the secretary of transportation to rate resort hotel by its facility and accommodation, was enacted on January 18, 1971. And the system was modified time to time to what we currently have after numerous revisions. However, the system has made a slow progress compare to the other countries system and have shown many potential problems that need to be improved. There is a problem that it is not even clear whether the act is as effective to apply it to rate any resort hotel in reality. The hotel rate system was first introduced in 1970's and changed ever since, and it also changed the private organizations to audit the decision. However, unlike the hotels in other countries, our hotel rating system is not focus on the customer's service and informations. It focus on the hotel's quality so that cause the problem whether the hotel is for customer or not In other different countries, they have some specific standard for evaluation of customer service based on customers' reference or needs. However, there is no evaluation part concerning on customer service in Korea. Also, even the hotel rating system is not based on the hotel waitress or waiter's service part. It means the system is almost focus on the hotel's qualities. Therefore, customer who needs hotel service, can not trust whether they can choose the hotels which gives the right informations and good quality services. Although hotel's physical layout is important, the service part is also important for evaluating the hotel entirely. There are a lot of things to develop and to be changed in order to develop tourism industry in the process of decision about Hotel's level in Korea Thus, this research will summarize some problems which are revised through the former research of hotel's level. And it will compare the system of hotel's level between Korea and developed countries in hotel industry Additionally, I will show current tourism industry in Korea. Finally, I suggest the improvement proposal for the level system of hotel in Korea and process of this system in the future.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of clothing habits wearing cool or warm in daily life on motor ability. A group of ten healthy young females were divided into a cold (C) group and a warm (W) group. From autumn to winter, C group was advised to wear cool clothing, and W group, warm Clothing. The subject's physical fitness were tested in October, initial stage of the clothing training and March of the following year, final stage of the training. The measurements were taken after the subjects rested in a thermoneutral room conditioned at 23$\pm$2$^{\circ}C$ over 1 hour. The test items were weight, skinfold thickness, grip strength (right, left), back-lift strength, vertical jump, sit-ups, Irosmax, side step test, single-foot standing test with eyes closed, and standing trunk flexion. Changes in motor ability of each group between initial stage and final stage of the training were compared. 1. Muscle strength, part of the motor revelation capacity, showed no significant change in the both ,Troops. On the other hand, strength and power showed a decrease in the both groups and C group showed a sharp decrease. 2. Muscular endurance and cardio-pulmonary fitness, part of the motor continuation capacity, were increased after the training and the degree of increase was great in C group. 3. C group showed significant increase in motor coordination capacity including agility, balance, and flexibility after the training, while Wgroup showed significant increases only in balance. 4. Weight and skinfold thickness as a part of the physique showed no significant change.

A performance test of inter propellant seal for a 75 ton class turbopump is conducted using water to evaluate leakage and endurance performance. Each part of fuel pump side and oxidizer pump side for a prototype inter propellant seal has been tested for verifying endurance performance during total accumulated test time 2,100 sec in water. The fuel pump side part with one-stage seal of carbon floating ring shows average leakage rate 13.7 gram/sec under average seal differential pressure 9.4 bar. On the other hand, the oxidizer pump side part with two-stage seal assembly of carbon floating rings shows average leakage rate 7.3 gram/sec under average seal differential pressure 9.5 bar. After the endurance performance test, the inter propellant seal shows good physical condition. A leakage performance test of the inter propellant seal for cryogenic environment will be performed using LN2 in the near future.

The following research, analysis about an integral part of current elementary classroom, has been done to grasp the importance of re-organization of an elementary school classroom. For the research process 11 schools, 60 classrooms have been studied to analyze the physical elements of classroom(learning tools, equipment, etc.) to provide deeper understanding on their display, and spatial arrangement, as well as characteristic of a classroom. By looking at these analyzed elements with perspective to the grade, the number of students per class, the result turned out to be uninteresting. The observation that was made by this analysis was that there are more usages of multi-purpose desk in the classroom when there are only a few numbers of students. Also the observation could be made on the classroom wall-post. Each post had a tendency to have its defined area to be posted. The analysis showed that there are total of 24 corners can be created in the classroom, also it distinctly showed that the number of corners gets changed depending on the number of students in the classroom. The 24 corners including learning tools, equipment, and posts could be sorted to a minimum of 11 areas and a maximum of 22 areas depending on the educational purpose of the corners. The current layout of these corner and area will be the primary component that will be needed for the new coming classroom. For the future progress, depending on the system of education, the following needs to be done: (1) The installation of corners in the classroom (2) A small common-lounge area between two classrooms (3) A common-corner for each grade (4) Deeper research will be required to discuss the installation of a wide-educational area.

The Nakdong River, which lies in a monsoon climate zone with warm rainy summers and cold dry winters, is a typical ecosystem showing the attributes of a regulated river. In 2003, the total annual rainfall (1,805 mm) was higher than the average of the past nine years from 1994 to 2002 (1,250 mm). In September a powerful typhoon, Maemi, caused a big impact on the limnology of the river for over two months. Among the limnological variables, turbidity in 2003 (37.4 ${\pm}$ 94.1 NTU, n = 54) was higher than the annual average for ten years (18.5 ${\pm}$ 2.3 NTU, n = 486) in the lower part of the river (Mulgum: RK 28). Furthermore, physical disturbance (e.g. stream bank erosion within channel) in the upstream of the Imha Dam (RK ca. 350; river distance in kilometer from the estuary barrage) in the upper part of the river was a source of high turbidity, and impacted on the limnological dynamics along a 350 km section of the middle to lower part of the river. After the typhoon, high turbidity persisted more than two months in the late autumn from September to November in 2003. Flow regulation and the extended duration of turbid water are superimposed on the template of existing main channel hydroecology, which may cause spatial changes in the population dynamics of plankton in the river.

A three-dimensional hydrodynamic-ecosystem model was developed and applied to Chinhae Bay which is located in the southeastern sea of Korea. The model includes a three-dimensional hydrodynamic model and an eutrophication model, and the model operates on the same grid system. The agreement between predicted and measured results is reasonably encouraging. The concentrations of the calculated COD, DIN and DIP are appeared to be very high due to the phytoplankton production and the wastewater input in the northern part of Chinhae Bay. Anoxic and hypoxic water masses in the bottom layer occur in the northern part of the bay due to the excess loading of wastewater and strong stratification, and in the western inner part of the bay due to high oxygen consumption in densely populated aquaculturing facilities. DO concentration contours show parallel to the bay entrance line, which means the importance of supplying DO by physical process from the mouth of the bay. Although both the hydrodynamic and biochemical processes play important role to form the hypoxic waters in the bottom of the inner bay, it is suggested that the hydrodynamic conditions such as the vertical and the horizontal eddy diffusivity are primarily important factors.
Childhood obesity has rapidly increased worldwide and is one of the most serious health problems in this age group. In order to prevent and manage childhood obesity, we developed a nutrition education website. The website consisted of three parts. The first part was made for self-assessment with regard to obesity index, dietary habits, food frequency, dietary attitude, nutrition knowledge, nutrient intake, energy expenditure, and the stage of behavioral change, and tailored messages and advice according to the assessment results. A total of 612 real-size food photos as well as a nutrient database of 3,346 foods and 541 dishes were created to help children estimate nutrient intakes accurately. In addition, an energy expenditure database of 156 activities for children was established to calculate calorie consumption. The second part was made for setting long-term and short-term goals and keeping track of the changes in energy intake and expenditure in one's own page. The third part was made for education. Various types of nutrition information were provided; texts, pictures, calculators and games. The readability and design of the website were evaluated by 46 obese children. Usefulness, design and readability of the website were found to be desirable for children. This website is expected to be used by an obese child alone or with parents or nutrition teachers in order to control body weight through healthy dietary habits and physical activities. In addition, a non-obese child can also use this website for maintaining healthy dietary habits and preventing obesity.
