  • For this study, 148 female adults between the ages of 20 and 60 who satisfied the plus-size judgment criteria took part in this study. Criteria were Rohrer index is higher than 1.5, bust girth larger than 90cm, and RBW(relative body weight) index higher than 110. Using anthropometric measurement values, indirect measurement values, and index values, this study analyzed frequencies, Duncan multiple range, and ANOVA to obtain information on characteristics that determine a representative body shape, by age, 1'3r Plus-sized women. The results are as follows: Physical Characteristics of Pius-Sized Women by Their Age: Women in their 20s md 30s had broader shoulders with smaller waists, with large buttocks and thighs. Among women in their 50s and 60s, body fat level increased significantly in regions such as the chest and abdomen, which made their upper body heavier.

  • When developing a CPS, since it is nature of CPS to interact with a physical system, CPS should be verified during its development process by real-time simulation supporting timely interactions between the simulator and existing implemented hardwares. Furthermore, when a part of a simulated system is implemented to real hardwares, i.e., incremental development, the simulator should aware changes of the simulated system and apply it automatically without manual description of the changes for effective development. For this, we suggest a real-time simulation framework including the concept of 'port' which abstracts communication details between the tasks, and a scheduling algorithm for guaranteeing 'real-time correctness' of the simulator.

  • Rehabilitation sports center is one of the sports center for the disabled that offers and operates programs to live with ordinary people through activities including various sports. This center must offer an environment that users be able to lead an sports activity by a removing physical and psychological obstacle. But most centers get in trouble using facilities that are so excessive or partly negative. Because, this center is offering a physical environment that absents correct comprehension of a standard plan and circulations of disabled. To takes part in physical exercise programs actively and encourages living sports activities, this study, will analyze circulations of disabled in accommodation and propose considerations at planning of rehabilitation sports center.

  • The hand is an integral part of normal hand functioning. The ability of the hand to grasp and manipulate objects or tools is necessary for accom-plishing many tasks of daily living. Therefore it is important to improve hand function for patient with hand impairment. The objectives of this article are to review the developmental process of hand function and to described the types of grasp, grip, pinch, and prehension. Developmental process of hand function is based on general developmental theory as Vojta, Bobath and Ayres. There are many kinds of classification of prehension, grasp, and pinch. This review include the classification by Malick, Kiel, Melvin, Sollrman & Sperling, Pedretti & Zoltan, Tyldesley & Grieve' book, Norkin & Levangie' book. This article hope to give the information for application in physical and occupational therapy practice.

  • Through this research, I intend to examine the possibility of utilizing the plaza in front of a station as a citizen plaza within the city, which citizen can use actively. Until now, the plaza in front of a station is utilized as a traffic square. As part of this examination, I'll consider a plaza generally and analyse the present condition of the plaza in front of a station as well as physical environment. Then I will grasp the present condition and problems. Through this, 1 intend to extract basic materials enough to find the possibility of the plaza in front of a station as a citizen resting place.

  • In this paper we introduce a new paradigm of physical layer security for wireless network. Existing security protocols like internet's transport layer security protocol has some security flaws that skilled hackers could exploit. Motivated from this point we introduce a new security protocol that works in physical layer which is much less vulnerable to hackers than any other higher layers. In our proposal, we incorporate the proposed security protocol within channel coding as channel coding is an essential part of wireless communication. We utilize the flexibility to choose a generator matrix (or generator polynomial) of a particular code that selects the code words as a core of our protocol. Each pair of wireless node will select a unique generator using their security key before they started to communicate with each other.

  • The use of electricity to evoke s skeletal muscle response is FES, which is a form of functional electrical stimulation. In the case of the damaged spinal cord, the technique can supply stimulation to the lower moter neurons and their muscle fiber, which have been disconnected from control of the higher nervous system. Recent advances in electronics, particularly miniaturization, have made possible the design of much improved systems of electrodes and stimulaters for FES. Clinical research has followed two main lines: the use of FES in the upper extremities for producing functional hand rehabilitation in quadriplegics and in the lower extremities for producing standing and gait in paraplegics.

  • The ambient noise in modem society is the factor to give people serious influence. Noise barriers installation is mostly used in the apartment estate to protect countermeasure about the road traffic ambient noise. The purpose of this study is to suggest reference data fur design of traffic noise reduction in apartment estate. It finds out how the traffic noise is measured about a noise barriers and physical characteristics. The 57dB was measured from the noise barriers in a 2m point. An ambient noise's of the part to belong noise attenuation is big at the sound arresting area of the noise barriers as the distance far.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the kinematic adaptation of head and trunk to ascend stairs and a ramp. Subjects were healthy young adults. Three-dimensional kinematic patterns of head and trunk movements were examined during stair climbing and steeper ramp climbing. Methods: Fourteen young subjects with no history of chronic or acute musculoskeletal, cardiovascular or respiratory disorders took part in this experiment. Kinematic data were collected using a 6 camera Vicon system (Oxford Metrix, Oxford, England). Repeated measures ANOVA analyses were used to investigate the effect of gait mode on kinematics of the head and trunk. Results: The angle of the trunk while ascending stairs or a ramp was modified in three human planes (p<0.05). The angle of head and neck during the ascending of stairs or a ramp was not changed in the sagittal plane but was changed in the frontal and transverse planes (p<0.05). Conclusion: This study describes and discusses some basic kinematic mechanisms underlying the pattern of head and trunk changes during stair and ramp climbing and showed that postural adaptation of the head and trunk is necessary to maintain balance.

  • This research was performed to investigate the physical and mechanical properties of Chanhoji manufactured with the traditional method. This research would provide a basic information for its application in the manufacture of Korean-style house. A piece of Changhoji was manufactured to have a weight of 3.75 g. The weight was increased with the basic weight and no increase was not found on its density. The strength properties of Changhoji are superior to a copying paper, and the quality showed the first grade in Korean Standard (KS M 7301). The air resistance varied with the thickness from 2 to 19 seconds, but it showed better performance than a copying paper having 38 seconds. This research would be used for the practical use in understanding the ventilation and lightening properties of windows and doors in Korean-style house.
